Caritas non æmulatur, non agit perperam, non inflatur,(vulgate) הָאַהֲבָה תַאֲרִיךְ אַף וּמְלֵאָה חֲנִינָה הָאַהֲבָה לֹא תְקַנֵּא הָאַהֲבָה לֹא תִתְנַשֵּׂא וְלֹא תִלְבַּשׁ גֵּאוּת׃ ד Corinthians1 1Co 13:4 Die Liebe ist langmütig und freundlich, die Liebe eifert nicht, die Liebe treibt nicht Mutwillen, sie blähet sich nicht,(dhs) 1Co 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 13:5 ============ 1Co 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,(nas) 1Co 13:5 οὐκ ἀσχημονεῖ, οὐ ζητεῖ τὰ ἑαυτῆς, οὐ παροξύνεται, οὐ λογίζεται τὸ κακόν, (Nestle-Aland) 1Co 13:5 non est ambitiosa, non quærit quæ sua sunt, non irritatur, non cogitat malum,(vulgate) לֹא יִמָּצֵא בָהּ שֶׁמֶץ־דָּבָר וְלֹא תְבַקֵּשׁ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־לָהּ לֹא תִתְקַצֵּף וְלֹא תַחֲרשׁ רָעָה׃ ה Corinthians1 1Co 13:5 sie stellet sich nicht ungebärdig, sie suchet nicht das Ihre, sie läßt sich nicht erbittern, sie rechnet das Böse nicht zu,(dhs) 1Co 13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 13:6 ============ 1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;(nas) 1Co 13:6 οὐ χαίρει ἐπὶ τῇ ἀδικίᾳ, συγχαίρει δὲ τῇ ἀληθείᾳ· (Nestle-Aland) 1Co 13:6 non gaudet super iniquitate, congaudet autem veritati:(vulgate) לֹא תָשִׂישׂ בְּעַוְלָתָה כִּי אִם־מְשׂוֹשָׂהּ עֲלֵי־אֱמֶת׃ ו Corinthians1 1Co 13:6 sie freut sich nicht der Ungerechtigkeit, sie freut sich aber der Wahrheit;(dhs) 1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 13:7 ============ 1Co 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.(nas) 1Co 13:7 πάντα στέγει, πάντα πιστεύει, πάντα ἐλπίζει, πάντα ὑπομένει. (Nestle-Aland) 1Co 13:8 Caritas numquam excidit: sive prophetiæ evacuabuntur, sive linguæ cessabunt, sive scientia destruetur.(vulgate) הָאַהֲבָה לֹא־תֶחְדַּל לָנֶצַח אַף כִּי־נְבוּאוֹת תִּכְלֶינָה וּלְשֹׁנוֹת תִּכָּחַדְנָה וְדַעַת אֵין־עוֹד׃ ח Corinthians1 1Co 13:8 Die Liebe höret nimmer auf, so doch die Weissagungen aufhören werden und die Sprachen aufhören werden und die Erkenntnis aufhören wird.(dhs) 1Co 13:8 Love never fails.
