Isaiah 43


Isa 43:1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!
Isa 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
Isa 43:3 "For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your place.
Isa 43:4 "Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life.
Isa 43:5 "Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, And gather you from the west.
Isa 43:6 "I will say to the north, 'Give them up!'And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth,
Isa 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made."
Isa 43:8 Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And the deaf, even though they have ears.
Isa 43:9 All the nations have gathered together So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can declare this And proclaim to us the former things? Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true."
Isa 43:10 "You are My witnesses," declares the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.
Isa 43:11 "I, even I, am the Lord, And there is no savior besides Me.
Isa 43:12 "It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the Lord, "And I am God.
Isa 43:13 "Even from eternity I am He, And there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?"
Isa 43:14 Thus says the Lord your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel," For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them all down as fugitives, Even the Chaldeans, into the ships in which they rejoice.
Isa 43:15 "I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
Isa 43:16 Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
Isa 43:17 Who brings forth the chariot and the horse, The army and the mighty man (They will lie down together and not rise again; They have been quenched and extinguished like a wick):
Isa 43:18 "Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
Isa 43:19 "Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Isa 43:20 "The beasts of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.
Isa 43:21 "The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.
Isa 43:22 "Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob; But you have become weary of Me, O Israel.
Isa 43:23 "You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.
Isa 43:24 "You have bought Me not sweet cane with money, Nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
Isa 43:25 "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.
Isa 43:26 "Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right.
Isa 43:27 "Your first forefather sinned, And your spokesmen have transgressed against Me.
Isa 43:28 "So I will pollute the princes of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to the ban and Israel to revilement.

Isa 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isa 43:3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Isa 43:4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Bring My sons from afar And My daughters from the ends of the earth, Isa 43:6 ἐρῶ τῷ βορρᾷ ἄγε καὶ τῷ λιβί μὴ κώλυε ἄγε τοὺς υἱούς μου ἀπὸ γῆς πόρρωθεν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας μου ἀπ᾽ ἄκρων τῆς γῆς
Isa 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Isa 43:8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Isa 43:8 Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And the deaf, even though they have ears. Isa 43:8 καὶ ἐξήγαγον λαὸν τυφλόν καὶ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν ὡσαύτως τυφλοί καὶ κωφοὶ τὰ ὦτα ἔχοντες
Isa 43 9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified or let them hear, and say, It is truth. Isa 43:9 All the nations have gathered together So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can declare this And proclaim to us the former things? Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true." Isa 43:9 πάντα τὰ ἔθνη συνήχθησαν ἅμα καὶ συναχθήσονται ἄρχοντες ἐξ αὐτῶν τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ταῦτα ἢ τὰ ἐξ ἀρχῆς τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ὑμῖν ἀγαγέτωσαν τοὺς μάρτυρας αὐτῶν καὶ δικαιωθήτωσαν καὶ εἰπάτωσαν ἀληθῆ
Isa 43 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isa 43:10 "You are My witnesses," declares the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Isa 43:11 "I, even I, am the Lord, And there is no savior besides Me. Isa 43:11 ἐγὼ ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν πάρεξ ἐμοῦ σῴζων
Isa 43:12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Isa 43:12 ἀνήγγειλα καὶ ἔσωσα ὠνείδισα καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἐν ὑμῖν ἀλλότριος ὑμεῖς ἐμοὶ μάρτυρες κἀγὼ μάρτυς λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός
Isa 43:13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Isa 43:23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. Isa 43:23 "You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. Isa 43:24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. Isa 43:24 "You have bought Me not sweet cane with money, Nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities. Isa 43:24 οὐδὲ ἐκτήσω μοι ἀργυρίου θυμίαμα οὐδὲ τὸ στέαρ τῶν θυσιῶν σου ἐπεθύμησα ἀλλὰ ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις σου καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἀδικίαις σου προέστην σου
Isa 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Isa 43:25 "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. Isa 43:25 ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἐξαλείφων τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθήσομαι
Isa 43 26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. Isa 43:26 "Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right. Isa 43:26 σὺ δὲ μνήσθητι καὶ κριθῶμεν λέγε σὺ τὰς ἀνομίας σου πρῶτος ἵνα δικαιωθῇς
Isa 43:27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. Isa 43:27 "Your first forefather sinned, And your spokesmen have transgressed against Me. Isa 43:27 οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν πρῶτοι καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτῶν ἠνόμησαν εἰς ἐμέ
Isa 43:28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches. Isa 43:28 "So I will pollute the princes of the sanctuary, And I will consign Jacob to the ban and Israel to revilement. Isa 43:28 καὶ ἐμίαναν οἱ ἄρχοντες τὰ ἅγιά μου καὶ ἔδωκα ἀπολέσαι Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ εἰς ὀνειδισμόν
