Then he arose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.(nas) Exo 24:4 καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς πάντα τὰ ῥήματα κυρίου ὀρθρίσας δὲ Μωυσῆς τὸ πρωὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν θυσιαστήριον ὑπὸ τὸ ὄρος καὶ δώδεκα λίθους εἰς τὰς δώδεκα φυλὰς τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) Exo 24:4 Scripsit autem Moyses universos sermones Domini: et mane consurgens, ædificavit altare ad radices montis, et duodecim titulos per duodecim tribus Israël.(vulgate) Exodus 24:4 And Moses wrote all the wordes of the Lord, and rose vp early, and set vp an altar vnder the mountaine, and twelue pillars according to the twelue tribes of Israel.(Geneva) Exo 24:4 Da schrieb Mose alle Worte des HERRN und machte sich des Morgens früh auf und baute einen Altar unten am Berge mit zwölf Säulen nach den zwölf Stämmen Israels,(dhs) Exo 24:4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:5 ============ Exo 24:5 He sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.(nas) Exo 24:5 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν τοὺς νεανίσκους τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ ἔθυσαν θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ θεῷ μοσχάρια (lxx) Exo 24:5 Misitque juvenes de filiis Israël, et obtulerunt holocausta, immolaveruntque victimas pacificas Domino, vitulos.(vulgate) Exodus 24:5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offrings of bieues, and sacrificed peace offrings vnto the Lorde.(Geneva) Exo 24:5 und sandte hin Jünglinge aus den Kindern Israel, daß sie Brandopfer darauf opferten und Dankopfer dem HERRN von Farren.(dhs) Exo 24:5 Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:6 ============ Exo 24:6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.(nas) Exo 24:6 λαβὼν δὲ Μωυσῆς τὸ ἥμισυ τοῦ αἵματος ἐνέχεεν εἰς κρατῆρας τὸ δὲ ἥμισυ τοῦ αἵματος προσέχεεν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον (lxx) Exo 24:6 Tulit itaque Moyses dimidiam partem sanguinis, et misit in crateras: partem autem residuam fudit super altare.(vulgate) Exodus 24:6 Then Moses tooke halfe of the blood, and put it in basens, and halfe of the blood he sprinckled on the altar.(Geneva) Exo 24:6 Und Mose nahm die Hälfte des Blutes und tat's in ein Becken, die andere Hälfte sprengte er auf den Altar.(dhs) Exo 24:6 And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:7 ============ Exo 24:7 Then he took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, "All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!"(nas) Exo 24:7 καὶ λαβὼν τὸ βιβλίον τῆς διαθήκης ἀνέγνω εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ εἶπαν πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησεν κύριος ποιήσομεν καὶ ἀκουσόμεθα (lxx) Exo 24:7 Assumensque volumen fœderis, legit audiente populo: qui dixerunt: Omnia quæ locutus est Dominus, faciemus, et erimus obedientes.(vulgate) Exodus 24:7 After he tooke the booke of the couenant, and read it in the audience of the people: who said, All that the Lord hath said, we will do, and be obedient.(Geneva) Exo 24:7 Und nahm das Buch des Bundes und las es vor den Ohren des Volkes. Unter seinen Füßen war es wie ein schöner Saphir und wie die Gestalt des Himmels, wenn's klar ist.(dhs) Exo 24:10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:11 ============ Exo 24:11 Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.(nas) Exo 24:11 καὶ τῶν ἐπιλέκτων τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐ διεφώνησεν οὐδὲ εἷς καὶ ὤφθησαν ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἔπιον (lxx) Exo 24:11 Nec super eos qui procul recesserant de filiis Israël, misit manum suam, videruntque Deum, et comederunt, ac biberunt.(vulgate) Exodus 24:11 And vpon the nobles of the children of Israel he laide not his hande: also they sawe God, and did eate and drinke.(Geneva) Exo 24:11 Und er reckte seine Hand nicht aus wider die Obersten in Israel. So they saw God, and they ate and drank.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:12 ============ Exo 24:12 Now the Lord said to Moses, "Come up to Me on the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandment which I have written for their instruction."(nas) Exo 24:12 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ἴσθι ἐκεῖ καὶ δώσω σοι τὰ πυξία τὰ λίθινα τὸν νόμον καὶ τὰς ἐντολάς ἃς ἔγραψα νομοθετῆσαι αὐτοῖς (lxx) Exo 24:12 Dixit autem Dominus ad Moysen: Ascende ad me in montem, et esto ibi: daboque tibi tabulas lapideas, et legem, ac mandata quæ scripsi: ut doceas eos.(vulgate) Exodus 24:12 And the Lord said vnto Moses, Come vp to me into the mountaine, and be there, and I will giue thee tables of stone, and the law and the commandement, which I haue written, for to teach them.(Geneva) Exo 24:12 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Komm herauf zu mir auf den Berg und bleib daselbst, daß ich dir gebe steinerne Tafeln und Gesetze und Gebote, die ich geschrieben habe, die du sie lehren sollst.(dhs) Exo 24:12 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:13 ============ Exo 24:13 So Moses arose with Joshua his servant, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.(nas) Exo 24:13 καὶ ἀναστὰς Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ παρεστηκὼς αὐτῷ ἀνέβησαν εἰς τὸ ὄρος τοῦ θεοῦ (lxx) Exo 24:13 Surrexerunt Moyses et Josue minister ejus: ascendensque Moyses in montem Dei,(vulgate) Exodus 24:13 Then Moses rose vp, and his minister Ioshua, and Moses went vp into the mountaine of God,(Geneva) Exo 24:13 Da machte sich Mose auf mit seinem Diener Josua und stieg auf den Berg Gottes(dhs) Exo 24:13 So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:14 ============ Exo 24:14 But to the elders he said, "Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a legal matter, let him approach them."(nas) Exo 24:14 καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις εἶπαν ἡσυχάζετε αὐτοῦ ἕως ἀναστρέψωμεν πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ ἰδοὺ Ααρων καὶ Ωρ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἐάν τινι συμβῇ κρίσις προσπορευέσθωσαν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Exo 24:14 senioribus ait: Expectate hic donec revertamur ad vos. Habetis Aaron et Hur vobiscum: si quid natum fuerit quæstionis, referetis ad eos.(vulgate) Exodus 24:14 And said vnto the Elders, Tary vs here, vntill we come againe vnto you: and beholde, Aaron, and Hur are with you: whosoeuer hath any matters, let him come to them.(Geneva) Exo 24:14 und sprach zu den Ältesten: Bleibet hier, bis wir wieder zu euch kommen. If any man has a difficulty, let him go to them."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:15 ============ Exo 24:15 Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.(nas) Exo 24:15 καὶ ἀνέβη Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ἐκάλυψεν ἡ νεφέλη τὸ ὄρος (lxx) Exo 24:15 Cumque ascendisset Moyses, operuit nubes montem,(vulgate) Exodus 24:15 Then Moses went vp to the mount, and the cloude couered the mountaine,(Geneva) Exo 24:15 Da nun Mose auf den Berg kam, bedeckte eine Wolke den Berg,(dhs) Exo 24:15 Then Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:16 ============ Exo 24:16 The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moses from the midst of the cloud.(nas) Exo 24:16 καὶ κατέβη ἡ δόξα τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σινα καὶ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτὸ ἡ νεφέλη ἓξ ἡμέρας καὶ ἐκάλεσεν κύριος τὸν Μωυσῆν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἐκ μέσου τῆς νεφέλης (lxx) Exo 24:16 et habitavit gloria Domini super Sinai, tegens illum nube sex diebus: septimo autem die vocavit eum de medio caliginis.(vulgate) Exodus 24:16 And the glorie of the Lorde abode vpon mount Sinai, and the cloude couered it sixe dayes: and the seuenth day he called vnto Moses out of the middes of the cloude.(Geneva) Exo 24:16 und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN wohnte auf dem Berge Sinai und deckte ihn mit der Wolke sechs Tage, und er rief Mose am siebenten Tage aus der Wolke.(dhs) Exo 24:16 Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:17 ============ Exo 24:17 And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top.(nas) Exo 24:17 τὸ δὲ εἶδος τῆς δόξης κυρίου ὡσεὶ πῦρ φλέγον ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐναντίον τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ (lxx) Exo 24:17 Erat autem species gloriæ Domini quasi ignis ardens super verticem montis in conspectu filiorum Israël.(vulgate) Exodus 24:17 And the sight of the glorie of the Lorde was like consuming fire on the top of the moutaine, in the eyes of the children of Israel.(Geneva) Exo 24:17 Und das Ansehen der Herrlichkeit des HERRN war wie ein verzehrendes Feuer auf der Spitze des Berges vor den Kindern Israel.(dhs) Exo 24:17 The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 24:18 ============ Exo 24:18 Moses entered the midst of the cloud as he went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. (nas) Exo 24:18 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωυσῆς εἰς τὸ μέσον τῆς νεφέλης καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας (lxx) Exo 24:18 Ingressusque Moyses medium nebulæ, ascendit in montem: et fuit ibi quadraginta diebus, et quadraginta noctibus.(vulgate) Exodus 24:18 And Moses entred into the middes of the cloude, and went vp to the mountaine: and Moses was in the mount fourtie dayes and fourty nightes.(Geneva) Exo 24:18 Und Mose ging mitten in die Wolke und stieg auf den Berg und blieb auf dem Berg vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte.(dhs) Exo 24:18 So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain.
