Today's Date: ======= Numbers 10:1 ============ Num 10:1 The Lord spoke further to Moses, saying,(nas) Num 10:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Num 10:1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) Numbers 10:1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Num 10:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Num 10:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:2 ============ Num 10:2 "Make yourself two trumpets of silver, of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for having the camps set out.(nas) Num 10:2 ποίησον σεαυτῷ δύο σάλπιγγας ἀργυρᾶς ἐλατὰς ποιήσεις αὐτάς καὶ ἔσονταί σοι ἀνακαλεῖν τὴν συναγωγὴν καὶ ἐξαίρειν τὰς παρεμβολάς (lxx) Num 10:2 Fac tibi duas tubas argenteas ductiles, quibus convocare possis multitudinem quando movenda sunt castra.(vulgate) Numbers 10:2 Make thee two trumpets of siluer: of an whole piece shalt thou make the, that thou mayest vse them for the assembling of the Congregation, and for the departure of the campe.(Geneva) Num 10:2 Mache dir zwei Drommeten von getriebenem Silber, daß du sie brauchst, die Gemeinde zu berufen und wenn das Heer aufbrechen soll.(dhs) Num 10:2 "Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:3 ============ Num 10:3 When both are blown, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the doorway of the tent of meeting.(nas) Num 10:3 καὶ σαλπίσεις ἐν αὐταῖς καὶ συναχθήσεται πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Num 10:3 Cumque increpueris tubis, congregabitur ad te omnis turba ad ostium tabernaculi fœderis.(vulgate) Numbers 10:3 And when they shall blowe with them, all the Congregation shall assemble to thee before the doore of the Tabernacle of the Cogregation.(Geneva) Num 10:3 Wenn man mit beiden schlicht bläst, soll sich zu dir versammeln die ganze Gemeinde vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts.(dhs) Num 10:3 When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:4 ============ Num 10:4 Yet if only one is blown, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall assemble before you.(nas) Num 10:4 ἐὰν δὲ ἐν μιᾷ σαλπίσωσιν προσελεύσονται πρὸς σὲ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες ἀρχηγοὶ Ισραηλ (lxx) Num 10:4 Si semel clangueris, venient ad te principes, et capita multitudinis Israël.(vulgate) Numbers 10:4 But if they blowe with one, then the princes, or heades ouer the thousandes of Israel shall come vnto thee.(Geneva) Num 10:4 Wenn man nur mit einer schlicht bläst, so sollen sich zu dir versammeln die Fürsten, die Obersten über die Tausende in Israel.(dhs) Num 10:4 But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:5 ============ Num 10:5 But when you blow an alarm, the camps that are pitched on the east side shall set out.(nas) Num 10:5 καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι ἀνατολάς (lxx) Num 10:5 Si autem prolixior atque concisus clangor increpuerit, movebunt castra primi qui sunt ad orientalem plagam.(vulgate) Numbers 10:5 But if ye blow an alarme, then the campe of the that pitch on the East part, shal go forward.(Geneva) Num 10:5 Wenn ihr aber drommetet, so sollen die Lager aufbrechen, die gegen Morgen liegen.(dhs) Num 10:5 When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:6 ============ Num 10:6 When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that are pitched on the south side shall set out; an alarm is to be blown for them to set out.(nas) Num 10:6 καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν δευτέραν καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι λίβα καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν τρίτην καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι παρὰ θάλασσαν καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν τετάρτην καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι πρὸς βορρᾶν σημασίᾳ σαλπιοῦσιν ἐν τῇ ἐξάρσει αὐτῶν (lxx) Num 10:6 In secundo autem sonitu et pari ululatu tubæ, levabunt tentoria qui habitant ad meridiem; et juxta hunc modum reliqui facient, ululantibus tubis in profectionem.(vulgate) Numbers 10:6 If ye blowe an alarme the second time, then the hoste of them that lie on the Southside shal march: for they shal blowe an alarme when they remoue.(Geneva) Num 10:6 Und wenn ihr zum andernmal drommetet, so sollen die Lager aufbrechen, die gegen Mittag liegen. Denn wenn sie reisen sollen, so sollt ihr drommeten.(dhs) Num 10:6 When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:7 ============ Num 10:7 When convening the assembly, however, you shall blow without sounding an alarm.(nas) Num 10:7 καὶ ὅταν συναγάγητε τὴν συναγωγήν σαλπιεῖτε καὶ οὐ σημασίᾳ (lxx) Num 10:7 Quando autem congregandus est populus, simplex tubarum clangor erit, et non concise ululabunt.(vulgate) Numbers 10:7 But in assembling the Congregation, ye shall blowe without an alarme.(Geneva) Num 10:7 Wenn aber die Gemeinde zu versammeln ist, sollt ihr schlicht blasen und nicht drommeten.(dhs) Num 10:7 And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:8 ============ Num 10:8 The priestly sons of Aaron, moreover, shall blow the trumpets; and this shall be for you a perpetual statute throughout your generations.(nas) Num 10:8 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς σαλπιοῦσιν ταῖς σάλπιγξιν καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν (lxx) Num 10:8 Filii autem Aaron sacerdotes clangent tubis: eritque hoc legitimum sempiternum in generationibus vestris.(vulgate) Numbers 10:8 And the sonnes of Aaron the Priest shall blowe the trumpets, and ye shall haue them as a lawe for euer in your generations.(Geneva) Num 10:8 Es sollen aber solch Blasen mit den Drommeten die Söhne Aarons, die Priester, tun; und das soll euer Recht sein ewiglich bei euren Nachkommen.(dhs) Num 10:8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:9 ============ Num 10:9 When you go to war in your land against the adversary who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.(nas) Num 10:9 ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθητε εἰς πόλεμον ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν πρὸς τοὺς ὑπεναντίους τοὺς ἀνθεστηκότας ὑμῖν καὶ σημανεῖτε ταῖς σάλπιγξιν καὶ ἀναμνησθήσεσθε ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ διασωθήσεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν (lxx) Num 10:9 Si exieritis ad bellum de terra vestra contra hostes qui dimicant adversum vos, clangetis ululantibus tubis, et erit recordatio vestri coram Domino Deo vestro, ut eruamini de manibus inimicorum vestrorum.(vulgate) Numbers 10:9 And when ye goe to warre in your lande against the enemie that vexeth you, ye shall blowe an alarme with the trumpets, and ye shall bee remembred before the Lorde your God, and shalbe saued from your enemies.(Geneva) Num 10:9 Wenn ihr in einen Streit ziehet in eurem Lande wider eure Feinde, die euch bedrängen, so sollt ihr drommeten mit den Drommeten, daß euer gedacht werde vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, und ihr erlöst werdet von euren Feinden.(dhs) Num 10:9 When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 10:10 ============ Num 10:10 Also in the day of your gladness and in your appointed feasts, and on the first days of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be as a reminder of you before your God. I am the Lord your God." Then the cloud settled down in the wilderness of Paran.(nas) Num 10:12 καὶ ἐξῆραν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ σὺν ἀπαρτίαις αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα καὶ ἔστη ἡ νεφέλη ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ Φαραν (lxx) Num 10:12 profectique sunt filii Israël per turmas suas de deserto Sinai, et recubuit nubes in solitudine Pharan.(vulgate) Numbers 10:12 And ye children of Israel departed on their iourneys out of the desart of Sinai, & the cloud rested in the wildernesse of Paran.(Geneva) Num 10:12 Und die Kinder Israel brachen auf und zogen aus der Wüste Sinai, und die Wolke blieb in der Wüste Pharan.(dhs) Num 10:12 And the children of Israel set out from the Wilderness of Sinai on their journeys; Quod cum audisset Dominus, iratus est.
