he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.(nas) Num 30:2 ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν εὔξηται εὐχὴν κυρίῳ ἢ ὀμόσῃ ὅρκον ἢ ὁρίσηται ὁρισμῷ περὶ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ οὐ βεβηλώσει τὸ ῥῆμα αὐτοῦ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ποιήσει (lxx) Num 30:2 Et locutus est ad principes tribuum filiorum Israël: Iste est sermo quem præcepit Dominus:(vulgate) Numbers 30:2 (30:3) Whosoeuer voweth a vow vnto the Lord, or sweareth an othe to binde him selfe by a bonde, he shall not breake his promise, but shall do according to al that proceedeth out of his mouth.(Geneva) Num 30:2 Wenn jemand dem HERRN ein Gelübde tut oder einen Eid schwört, daß er seine Seele verbindet, der soll sein Wort nicht aufheben, sondern alles tun, wie es zu seinem Munde ist ausgegangen.(dhs) Num 30:2 If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:3 ============ Num 30:3 "Also if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by an obligation in her father's house in her youth,(nas) Num 30:3 ἐὰν δὲ γυνὴ εὔξηται εὐχὴν κυρίῳ ἢ ὁρίσηται ὁρισμὸν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἐν τῇ νεότητι αὐτῆς (lxx) Num 30:3 Si quis virorum votum Domino voverit, aut se constrinxerit juramento: non faciet irritum verbum suum, sed omne quod promisit, implebit.(vulgate) Numbers 30:3 (30:4) If a woman also vow a vow vnto the Lord, and binde her selfe by a bonde, being in her fathers house, in the time of her youth,(Geneva) Num 30:3 Wenn ein Weib dem HERRN ein Gelübde tut und sich verbindet, solange sie in ihres Vaters Hause und ledig ist,(dhs) Num 30:3 "Or if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by some agreement while in her father's house in her youth,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:4 ============ Num 30:4 and her father hears her vow and her obligation by which she has bound herself, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she has bound herself shall stand.(nas) Num 30:4 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῆς ὁ πατήρ καὶ στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντες οἱ ὁρισμοί οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μενοῦσιν αὐτῇ (lxx) Num 30:4 Mulier si quippiam voverit, et se constrinxerit juramento, quæ est in domo patris sui, et in ætate adhuc puellari: si cognoverit pater votum quod pollicita est, et juramentum quo obligavit animam suam, et tacuerit, voti rea erit:(vulgate) Numbers 30:4 (30:5) And her father heare her vowe and bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, and her father hold his peace concerning her, then all her vowes shall stande, and euery bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, shall stand.(Geneva) Num 30:4 und ihr Gelübde und Verbündnis, das sie nimmt auf ihre Seele, kommt vor ihren Vater, und er schweigt dazu, so gilt all ihr Gelübde und all ihr Verbündnis, das sie ihrer Seele aufgelegt hat.(dhs) Num 30:4 and her father hears her vow and the agreement by which she has bound herself, and her father holds his peace, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement with which she has bound herself shall stand.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:5 ============ Num 30:5 But if her father should forbid her on the day he hears of it, none of her vows or her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will forgive her because her father had forbidden her.(nas) Num 30:5 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνανεύων ἀνανεύσῃ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πάσας τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμούς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ στήσονται καὶ κύριος καθαριεῖ αὐτήν ὅτι ἀνένευσεν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς (lxx) Num 30:5 quidquid pollicita est, et juravit, opere complebit.(vulgate) Numbers 30:5 (30:6) But if her father disalow her the same day that he heareth all her vowes and bondes, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, they shall not bee of value, and the Lorde will forgiue her, because her father disalowed her.(Geneva) Num 30:5 Wo aber ihr Vater ihr wehrt des Tages, wenn er's hört, so gilt kein Gelübde noch Verbündnis, das sie auf ihre Seele gelegt hat; und der HERR wird ihr gnädig sein, weil ihr Vater ihr gewehrt hat.(dhs) Num 30:5 But if her father overrules her on the day that he hears, then none of her vows nor her agreements by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will release her, because her father overruled her.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:6 ============ Num 30:6 "However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself,(nas) Num 30:6 ἐὰν δὲ γενομένη γένηται ἀνδρὶ καὶ αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῇ κατὰ τὴν διαστολὴν τῶν χειλέων αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς (lxx) Num 30:6 Sin autem statim ut audierit, contradixerit pater: et vota et juramenta ejus irrita erunt, nec obnoxia tenebitur sponsioni, eo quod contradixerit pater.(vulgate) Numbers 30:6 (30:7) And if she haue an husband when she voweth or pronounceth ought with her lips, wherewith she bindeth her selfe,(Geneva) Num 30:6 Wird sie aber eines Mannes und hat ein Gelübde auf sich oder ist ihr aus ihren Lippen ein Verbündnis entfahren über ihre Seele,(dhs) Num 30:6 "If indeed she takes a husband, while bound by her vows or by a rash utterance from her lips by which she bound herself,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:7 ============ Num 30:7 and her husband hears of it and says nothing to her on the day he hears it, then her vows shall stand and her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand.(nas) Num 30:7 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ καὶ οὕτως στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς στήσονται (lxx) Num 30:7 Si maritum habuerit, et voverit aliquid, et semel de ore ejus verbum egrediens animam ejus obligaverit juramento:(vulgate) Numbers 30:7 (30:8) If her husband heard it, & holdeth his peace concerning her, the same day he heareth it, then her vowe shall stande, and her bondes wherewith she bindeth her selfe shall stand in effect.(Geneva) Num 30:7 und der Mann hört es, und schweigt desselben Tages, wenn er's hört, so gilt ihr Gelübde und Verbündnis, das sie auf ihre Seele genommen hat.(dhs) Num 30:7 and her husband hears it, and makes no response to her on the day that he hears, then her vows shall stand, and her agreements by which she bound herself shall stand.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:8 ============ Num 30:8 But if on the day her husband hears of it, he forbids her, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.(nas) Num 30:8 ἐὰν δὲ ἀνανεύων ἀνανεύσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ μενοῦσιν ὅτι ὁ ἀνὴρ ἀνένευσεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ κύριος καθαριεῖ αὐτήν (lxx) Num 30:8 quo die audierit vir, et non contradixerit, voti rea erit, reddetque quodcumque promiserat.(vulgate) Numbers 30:8 (30:9) But if her husbande disalow her the same day that hee heareth it, then shall hee make her vowe which shee hath made, and that that shee hath pronounced with her lips, wherewith shee bound her selfe, of none effect: and the Lorde will forgiue her.(Geneva) Num 30:8 Wo aber ihr Mann ihr wehrt des Tages, wenn er's hört, so ist ihr Gelübde los, das sie auf sich hat, und das Verbündnis, das ihr aus den Lippen entfahren ist über ihre Seele; und der HERR wird ihr gnädig sein.(dhs) Num 30:8 But if her husband overrules her on the day that he hears it, he shall make void her vow which she took and what she uttered with her lips, by which she bound herself, and the Lord will release her.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:9 ============ Num 30:9 "But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.(nas) Num 30:9 καὶ εὐχὴ χήρας καὶ ἐκβεβλημένης ὅσα ἂν εὔξηται κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μενοῦσιν αὐτῇ (lxx) Num 30:9 Sin autem audiens statim contradixerit, et irritas fecerit pollicitationes ejus, verbaque quibus obstrinxerat animam suam, propitius erit ei Dominus.(vulgate) Numbers 30:9 (30:10) But euery vowe of a widowe, and of her that is diuorced (wherewith she hath bound her selfe) shall stand in effect with her.(Geneva) Num 30:9 Das Gelübde einer Witwe und Verstoßenen, alles Verbündnis, das sie nimmt auf ihre Seele, das gilt auf ihr.(dhs) Num 30:9 "Also any vow of a widow or a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:10 ============ Num 30:10 However, if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound herself by an obligation with an oath,(nas) Num 30:10 ἐὰν δὲ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς ἡ εὐχὴ αὐτῆς ἢ ὁ ὁρισμὸς κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μεθ᾽ ὅρκου (lxx) Num 30:10 Vidua et repudiata quidquid voverint, reddent.(vulgate) Numbers 30:10 (30:11) And if she vowed in her husbands house, or bound her selfe streightly with an othe,(Geneva) Num 30:10 Wenn eine in ihres Mannes Hause gelobt oder sich mit einem Eide verbindet über ihre Seele,(dhs) Num 30:10 "If she vowed in her husband's house, or bound herself by an agreement with an oath,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:11 ============ Num 30:11 and her husband heard it, but said nothing to her and did not forbid her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she bound herself shall stand.(nas) Num 30:11 καὶ ἀκούσῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ καὶ μὴ ἀνανεύσῃ αὐτῇ καὶ στήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ εὐχαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντες οἱ ὁρισμοὶ αὐτῆς οὓς ὡρίσατο κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς στήσονται κατ᾽ αὐτῆς (lxx) Num 30:11 Uxor in domo viri cum se voto constrinxerit et juramento,(vulgate) Numbers 30:11 (30:12) And her husband hath heard it, and helde his peace cocerning her, not disalowing her, then all her vowes shall stand, and euery bond, wherewith she bound her selfe, shall stand in effect.(Geneva) Num 30:11 und ihr Mann hört es, und schweigt dazu und wehrt es nicht, so gilt all dasselbe Gelübde und alles Verbündnis, das sie auflegt ihrer Seele.(dhs) Num 30:11 and her husband heard it, and made no response to her and did not overrule her, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement by which she bound herself shall stand.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:12 ============ Num 30:12 But if her husband indeed annuls them on the day he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning the obligation of herself shall not stand; her husband has annulled them, and the Lord will forgive her.(nas) Num 30:12 ἐὰν δὲ περιελὼν περιέλῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἀκούσῃ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τῶν χειλέων αὐτῆς κατὰ τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ κατὰ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς τοὺς κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς οὐ μενεῖ αὐτῇ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς περιεῖλεν καὶ κύριος καθαρίσει αὐτήν (lxx) Num 30:12 si audierit vir, et tacuerit, nec contradixerit sponsioni, reddet quodcumque promiserat.(vulgate) Numbers 30:12 (30:13) But if her husband disanulled them, the same day that he heard them, nothing that proceeded out of her lippes concerning her vowes or concerning her bondes, shall stand in effect: for her husband hath disanulled them: and the Lord will forgiue her.(Geneva) Num 30:12 Macht's aber ihr Mann des Tages los, wenn er's hört, so gilt das nichts, was aus ihren Lippen gegangen ist, was sie gelobt oder wozu sie sich verbunden hat über ihre Seele; denn ihr Mann hat's losgemacht, und der HERR wird ihr gnädig sein.(dhs) Num 30:12 But if her husband truly made them void on the day he heard them, then whatever proceeded from her lips concerning her vows or concerning the agreement binding her, it shall not stand; her husband has made them void, and the Lord will release her.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:13 ============ Num 30:13 "Every vow and every binding oath to humble herself, her husband may confirm it or her husband may annul it.(nas) Num 30:13 πᾶσα εὐχὴ καὶ πᾶς ὅρκος δεσμοῦ κακῶσαι ψυχήν ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς στήσει αὐτῇ καὶ ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς περιελεῖ (lxx) Num 30:13 Sin autem extemplo contradixerit, non tenebitur promissionis rea: quia maritus contradixit, et Dominus ei propitius erit.(vulgate) Numbers 30:13 (30:14) So euery vowe, and euery othe or bonde, made to humble the soule, her husband may stablish it, or her husband may breake it.(Geneva) Num 30:13 Alle Gelübde und Eide, die verbinden den Leib zu kasteien, mag ihr Mann bekräftigen oder aufheben also:(dhs) Num 30:13 Every vow and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband may confirm it, or her husband may make it void.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:14 ============ Num 30:14 But if her husband indeed says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all her obligations which are on her; he has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard them.(nas) Num 30:14 ἐὰν δὲ σιωπῶν παρασιωπήσῃ αὐτῇ ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας καὶ στήσει αὐτῇ πάσας τὰς εὐχὰς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς ὁρισμοὺς τοὺς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς στήσει αὐτῇ ὅτι ἐσιώπησεν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἤκουσεν (lxx) Num 30:14 Si voverit, et juramento se constrinxerit, ut per jejunium, vel ceterarum rerum abstinentiam affligat animam suam, in arbitrio viri erit ut faciat, sive non faciat.(vulgate) Numbers 30:14 (30:15) But if her husband holde his peace concerning her from day to day, then he stablisheth al her vowes and all her bondes which shee hath made: hee hath confirmed them because he held his peace concerning her the same day that hee hearde them.(Geneva) Num 30:14 wenn er dazu schweigt von einem Tag zum andern, so bekräftigt er alle ihre Gelübde und Verbündnisse, die sie auf sich hat, darum daß er geschwiegen hat des Tages, da er's hörte;(dhs) Num 30:14 Now if her husband makes no response whatever to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all the agreements that bind her; he confirms them, because he made no response to her on the day that he heard them.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:15 ============ Num 30:15 But if he indeed annuls them after he has heard them, then he shall bear her guilt."(nas) Num 30:15 ἐὰν δὲ περιελὼν περιέλῃ αὐτῆς μετὰ τὴν ἡμέραν ἣν ἤκουσεν καὶ λήμψεται τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Num 30:15 Quod si audiens vir tacuerit, et in alteram diem distulerit sententiam, quidquid voverat atque promiserat, reddet: quia statim ut audivit, tacuit.(vulgate) Numbers 30:15 (30:16) But if he breake them after that he hath heard them, then shall he beare her iniquitie.(Geneva) Num 30:15 wird er's aber aufheben, nachdem er's gehört hat, so soll er ihre Missetat tragen.(dhs) Num 30:15 But if he does make them void after he has heard them, then he shall bear her guilt."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 30:16 ============ Num 30:16 These are the statutes which the Lord commanded Moses, as between a man and his wife, and as between a father and his daughter, while she is in her youth in her father's house. (nas) Num 30:16 ταῦτα τὰ δικαιώματα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀνδρὸς καὶ γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πατρὸς καὶ θυγατρὸς ἐν νεότητι ἐν οἴκῳ πατρός (lxx) Num 30:16 Sin autem contradixerit postquam rescivit, portabit ipse iniquitatem ejus.
