Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples."(nas) Isa 56:7 εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου καὶ εὐφρανῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τῆς προσευχῆς μου τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ θυσίαι αὐτῶν ἔσονται δεκταὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου μου ὁ γὰρ οἶκός μου οἶκος προσευχῆς κληθήσεται πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν (lxx) Isa 56:7 adducam eos in montem sanctum meum, et lætificabo eos in domo orationis meæ; holocausta eorum et victimæ eorum placebunt mihi super altari meo, quia domus mea domus orationis vocabitur cunctis populis.(vulgate) Isaiah 56:7 Them wil I bring also to mine holy mountaine, and make them ioyfull in mine House of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted vpon mine altar: for mine House shall be called an house of prayer for all people.(Geneva) Isa 56:7 die will ich zu meinem heiligen Berge bringen und will sie erfreuen in meinem Bethause, und ihre Opfer und Brandopfer sollen mir angenehm sein auf meinem Altar; denn mein Haus wird heißen ein Bethaus allen Völkern.(dhs) Isa 56:7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. (nas) Isa 56:9 πάντα τὰ θηρία τὰ ἄγρια δεῦτε φάγετε πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ δρυμοῦ (lxx) Isa 56:9 [Omnes bestiæ agri, venite ad devorandum, universæ bestiæ saltus.(vulgate) Isaiah 56:9 All ye beastes of the fielde, come to deuoure, euen all ye beastes of the forest.(Geneva) Isa 56:9 Alle Tiere auf dem Felde, kommet, und fresset, ja alle Tiere im Walde!(dhs) Isa 56:9 All you beasts of the field, come to devour, All you beasts in the forest.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 56:10 ============ Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber; (nas) Isa 56:10 ἴδετε ὅτι πάντες ἐκτετύφλωνται οὐκ ἔγνωσαν φρονῆσαι πάντες κύνες ἐνεοί οὐ δυνήσονται ὑλακτεῖν ἐνυπνιαζόμενοι κοίτην φιλοῦντες νυστάξαι (lxx) Isa 56:10 Speculatores ejus cæci omnes; nescierunt universi: canes muti non valentes latrare, videntes vana, dormientes, et amantes somnia.(vulgate) Isaiah 56:10 Their watchmen are all blinde: they haue no knowledge: they are all dumme dogs: they can not barke: they lie and sleepe and delite in sleeping.(Geneva) Isa 56:10 Alle ihre Wächter sind blind, sie wissen nichts; stumme Hunde sind sie, die nicht strafen können, sind faul, liegen und schlafen gerne.(dhs) Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind, They are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 56:11 ============ Isa 56:11 And the dogs are greedy, they are not satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one. (nas) Isa 56:11 καὶ οἱ κύνες ἀναιδεῖς τῇ ψυχῇ οὐκ εἰδότες πλησμονήν καί εἰσιν πονηροὶ οὐκ εἰδότες σύνεσιν πάντες ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν ἐξηκολούθησαν ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ ἑαυτοῦ (lxx) Isa 56:11 Et canes imprudentissimi nescierunt saturitatem; ipsi pastores ignoraverunt intelligentiam: omnes in viam suam declinaverunt; unusquisque ad avaritiam suam, a summo usque ad novissimum.(vulgate) Isaiah 56:11 And these griedy dogs can neuer haue ynough: and these shepheards cannot vnderstand: for they all looke to their owne way, euery one for his aduantage, and for his owne purpose.(Geneva) Isa 56:11 Es sind aber gierige Hunde, die nimmer satt werden können.
