(nas) Eze 10:2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὴν στολήν εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ μέσον τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τῶν χερουβιν καὶ πλῆσον τὰς δράκας σου ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἐκ μέσου τῶν χερουβιν καὶ διασκόρπισον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν καὶ εἰσῆλθεν ἐνώπιόν μου (lxx) Eze 10:2 Et dixit ad virum qui indutus erat lineis, et ait: Ingredere in medio rotarum quæ sunt subtus cherubim, et imple manum tuam prunis ignis quæ sunt inter cherubim, et effunde super civitatem. Ingressusque est in conspectu meo.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:2 And he spake vnto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in betweene the wheeles, euen vnder the Cherub, & fill thine hands with coales of fire from betweene the Cherubims, & scatter the ouer the citie; he went in in my sight.(Geneva) Eze 10:2 Und er sprach zu dem Mann in der Leinwand: Gehe hin zwischen die Räder unter den Cherub und fasse die Hände voll glühender Kohlen, so zwischen den Cherubim sind, und streue sie über die Stadt. Und er ging hinein, daß ich's sah, da er hineinging.(dhs) Eze 10:2 Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city." And he went in as I watched.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:3 ============ Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court. (nas) Eze 10:3 καὶ τὰ χερουβιν εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ οἴκου ἐν τῷ εἰσπορεύεσθαι τὸν ἄνδρα καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἔπλησεν τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἐσωτέραν (lxx) Eze 10:3 Cherubim autem stabant a dextris domus cum ingrederetur vir, et nubes implevit atrium interius.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:3 Now the Cherubims stood vpon the right side of the house, when the man went in, and the cloude filled the inner court.(Geneva) Eze 10:3 Die Cherubim aber standen zur Rechten am Hause, und die Wolke erfüllte den innern Vorhof.(dhs) Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:4 ============ Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord. (nas) Eze 10:4 καὶ ἀπῆρεν ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τῶν χερουβιν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἔπλησεν τὸν οἶκον ἡ νεφέλη καὶ ἡ αὐλὴ ἐπλήσθη τοῦ φέγγους τῆς δόξης κυρίου (lxx) Eze 10:4 Et elevata est gloria Domini desuper cherub ad limen domus: et repleta est domus nube, et atrium repletum est splendore gloriæ Domini.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:4 Then the glorie of the Lorde went vp from the Cherub, and stoode ouer the doore of the house, & the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightnesse of the Lordes glorie.(Geneva) Eze 10:4 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erhob sich von dem Cherub zur Schwelle am Hause; und das Haus ward erfüllt mit der Wolke und der Vorhof voll Glanzes von der Herrlichkeit des HERRN.(dhs) Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:5 ============ Eze 10:5 Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks. (nas) Eze 10:5 καὶ φωνὴ τῶν πτερύγων τῶν χερουβιν ἠκούετο ἕως τῆς αὐλῆς τῆς ἐξωτέρας ὡς φωνὴ θεοῦ Σαδδαι λαλοῦντος (lxx) Eze 10:5 Et sonitus alarum cherubim audiebatur usque ad atrium exterius, quasi vox Dei omnipotentis loquentis.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:5 And the sound of the Cherubims wings was heard into the vtter court, as the voyce of the Almightie God, when he speaketh.(Geneva) Eze 10:5 Und man hörte die Flügel der Cherubim rauschen bis in den äußeren Vorhof wie eine mächtige Stimme des allmächtigen Gottes, wenn er redet.(dhs) Eze 10:5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:6 ============ Eze 10:6 It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stood beside a wheel. (nas) Eze 10:9 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ τροχοὶ τέσσαρες εἱστήκεισαν ἐχόμενοι τῶν χερουβιν τροχὸς εἷς ἐχόμενος χερουβ ἑνός καὶ ἡ ὄψις τῶν τροχῶν ὡς ὄψις λίθου ἄνθρακος (lxx) Eze 10:9 Et vidi: et ecce quatuor rotæ juxta cherubim: rota una juxta cherub unum, et rota alia juxta cherub unum: species autem rotarum erat quasi visio lapidis chrysolithi:(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:9 And when I looked vp, beholde, foure wheeles were beside the Cherubims, one wheele by one Cherub, and another wheele by another Cherub, and the appearance of the wheeles was as the colour of a Chrysolite stone.(Geneva) Eze 10:9 Und ich sah, und siehe, vier Räder standen bei den Cherubim, bei einem jeglichen Cherub ein Rad; und die Räder waren anzusehen gleichwie ein Türkis(dhs) Eze 10:9 And when I looked, there were four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub and another wheel by each other cherub; the wheels appeared to have the color of a beryl stone.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:10 ============ Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel. (nas) Eze 10:10 καὶ ἡ ὄψις αὐτῶν ὁμοίωμα ἓν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν ὃν τρόπον ὅταν ᾖ τροχὸς ἐν μέσῳ τροχοῦ (lxx) Eze 10:10 et aspectus earum similitudo una quatuor, quasi sit rota in medio rotæ.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:10 And their appearance (for they were all foure of one facion) was as if one wheele had bene in another wheele.(Geneva) Eze 10:10 und waren alle vier eines wie das andere, als wäre ein Rad im andern.(dhs) Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four looked alike--as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:11 ============ Eze 10:11 When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went. (nas) Eze 10:11 ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτὰ εἰς τὰ τέσσαρα μέρη αὐτῶν ἐπορεύοντο οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά ὅτι εἰς ὃν ἂν τόπον ἐπέβλεψεν ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ μία ἐπορεύοντο καὶ οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά (lxx) Eze 10:11 Cumque ambularent, in quatuor partes gradiebantur, et non revertebantur ambulantes: sed ad locum ad quem ire declinabat quæ prima erat, sequebantur et ceteræ, nec convertebantur.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:11 When they went foorth, they went vpon their foure sides, and they returned not as they went: but to the place whither the first went, they went after it, and they turned not as they went.(Geneva) Eze 10:11 Wenn sie gehen sollten, so konnten sie nach allen vier Seiten gehen und mußten sich nicht herumlenken, wenn sie gingen; sondern wohin das erste ging, da gingen sie nach und mußten sich nicht herumlenken.(dhs) Eze 10:11 When they went, they went toward any of their four directions; they did not turn aside when they went, but followed in the direction the head was facing. (nas) Eze 10:12 καὶ οἱ νῶτοι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ πτέρυγες αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ πλήρεις ὀφθαλμῶν κυκλόθεν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν τροχοῖς αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:12 Et omne corpus earum, et colla, et manus, et pennæ, et circuli, plena erant oculis in circuitu quatuor rotarum.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:12 And their whole bodie, and their rings, and their hands, and their wings, & the wheeles were full of eyes round about, euen in the same foure wheeles.(Geneva) Eze 10:12 Und ihr ganzer Leib, Rücken, Hände und Flügel und die Räder waren voll Augen um und um; alle vier hatten ihre Räder.(dhs) Eze 10:12 And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were full of eyes all around.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:13 ============ Eze 10:13 The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels. (nas) Eze 10:17 ἐν τῷ ἑστάναι αὐτὰ εἱστήκεισαν καὶ ἐν τῷ μετεωρίζεσθαι αὐτὰ ἐμετεωρίζοντο μετ᾽ αὐτῶν διότι πνεῦμα ζωῆς ἐν αὐτοῖς ἦν (lxx) Eze 10:17 Stantibus illis stabant, et cum elevatis elevabantur: spiritus enim vitæ erat in eis.~(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:17 When the Cherubims stoode, they stood: & when they were lifted vp, they lifted the selues vp also: for the spirit of the beast was in them.(Geneva) Eze 10:17 Wenn jene standen, so standen diese auch; erhoben sie sich, so erhoben sich diese auch; denn es war der Geist der Tiere in ihnen.(dhs) Eze 10:17 When the cherubim stood still, the wheels stood still, and when one was lifted up, the other lifted itself up, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:18 ============ Eze 10:18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim. (nas) Eze 10:18 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἐπέβη ἐπὶ τὰ χερουβιν (lxx) Eze 10:18 Et egressa est gloria Domini a limine templi, et stetit super cherubim.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:18 Then the glorie of the Lorde departed from aboue the doore of the house, and stoode vpon the Cherubims.(Geneva) Eze 10:18 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN ging wieder aus von der Schwelle am Hause des HERRN und stellt sich über die Cherubim.(dhs) Eze 10:18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:19 ============ Eze 10:19 When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord's house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them. (nas) Eze 10:19 καὶ ἀνέλαβον τὰ χερουβιν τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμετεωρίσθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὰ καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῶν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα τῆς πύλης οἴκου κυρίου τῆς ἀπέναντι καὶ δόξα θεοῦ Ισραηλ ἦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν ὑπεράνω (lxx) Eze 10:19 Et elevantia cherubim alas suas, exaltata sunt a terra coram me: et illis egredientibus, rotæ quoque subsecutæ sunt: et stetit in introitu portæ domus Domini orientalis, et gloria Dei Israël erat super ea.(vulgate) Ezekiel 10:19 And the Cherubims lift vp their wings, and mounted vp from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheeles also were besides them: and euery one stoode at the entrie of the gate of the Lordes House at the East side, and the glorie of the God of Israel was vpo them on hie.(Geneva) Eze 10:19 Da schwangen die Cherubim ihre Flügel und erhoben sich von der Erde vor meinen Augen; und da sie ausgingen, gingen die Räder neben ihnen. Und sie traten zum Tor am Hause des HERRN, gegen Morgen, und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels war oben über ihnen.(dhs) Eze 10:19 And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:20 ============ Eze 10:20 These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; so I knew that they were cherubim. And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
