(nas) Eze 36:1 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ὄρεσιν τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου (lxx) Eze 36:1 Tu autem, fili hominis, propheta super montes Israël, et dices: [Montes Israël, audite verbum Domini.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:1 Also thou sonne of man, prophesie vnto the mountaines of Israel, & say, Ye mountaines of Israel, heare the word of the Lord.(Geneva) Eze 36:1 Und du, Menschenkind, weissage den Bergen Israels und sprich: Höret des HERRN Wort ihr Berge Israels!(dhs) Eze 36:1 "And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:2 ============ Eze 36:2 Thus says the Lord God, "Because the enemy has spoken against you, 'Aha!' and, 'The everlasting heights have become our possession, '(nas) Eze 36:2 τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν εἶπεν ὁ ἐχθρὸς ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς εὖγε ἔρημα αἰώνια εἰς κατάσχεσιν ἡμῖν ἐγενήθη (lxx) Eze 36:2 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod dixerit inimicus de vobis: Euge, altitudines sempiternæ in hæreditatem datæ sunt nobis:(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:2 Thus saith the Lord God, because the enemie hath sayde against you, Aha, euen the hye places of the world are ours in possession,(Geneva) Eze 36:2 So spricht der HERR HERR: Darum daß der Feind über euch rühmt: Ha! die ewigen Höhen sind nun unser Erbe geworden!(dhs) Eze 36:2 Thus says the Lord God: "Because the enemy has said of you, 'Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,' " '(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:3 ============ Eze 36:3 therefore prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "For good reason they have made you desolate and crushed you from every side, that you would become a possession of the rest of the nations and you have been taken up in the talk and the whispering of the people."'"(nas) Eze 36:3 διὰ τοῦτο προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀτιμασθῆναι ὑμᾶς καὶ μισηθῆναι ὑμᾶς ὑπὸ τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν τοῦ εἶναι ὑμᾶς εἰς κατάσχεσιν τοῖς καταλοίποις ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἀνέβητε λάλημα γλώσσῃ καὶ εἰς ὀνείδισμα ἔθνεσιν (lxx) Eze 36:3 propterea vaticinare, et dic: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Pro eo quod desolati estis, et conculcati per circuitum, et facti in hæreditatem reliquis gentibus, et ascendistis super labium linguæ et opprobrium populi,(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:3 Therefore prophesie, & say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Because that they haue made you desolate, & swallowed you vp on euery side, that ye might be a possession vnto the residue of the heathen, & ye are come vnto the lippes & tongues of men, and vnto the reproch of the people,(Geneva) Eze 36:3 darum weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Weil man euch allenthalben verwüstet und vertilgt, und ihr seid den übrigen Heiden zuteil geworden und seid den Leuten ins Maul gekommen und ein böses Geschrei geworden,(dhs) Eze 36:3 therefore prophesy, and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people"--(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:4 ============ Eze 36:4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities which have become a prey and a derision to the rest of the nations which are round about, (nas) Eze 36:4 διὰ τοῦτο ὄρη Ισραηλ ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου τάδε λέγει κύριος τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς καὶ ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ τοῖς χειμάρροις καὶ τοῖς ἐξηρημωμένοις καὶ ἠφανισμένοις καὶ ταῖς πόλεσιν ταῖς ἐγκαταλελειμμέναις αἳ ἐγένοντο εἰς προνομὴν καὶ εἰς καταπάτημα τοῖς καταλειφθεῖσιν ἔθνεσιν περικύκλῳ (lxx) Eze 36:4 propterea, montes Israël, audite verbum Domini Dei. Hæc dicit Dominus Deus montibus et collibus, torrentibus, vallibusque et desertis, parietinis et urbibus derelictis, quæ depopulatæ sunt et subsannatæ a reliquis gentibus per circuitum.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:4 Therefore ye mountaines of Israel, heare the worde of the Lord God, Thus sayth the Lord God to the mountaines & to the hilles, to the riuers, and to the valleys, and to the waste, and desolate places, and to the cities that are forsaken: which are spoyled & had in derision of the residue of the heathen that are round about.(Geneva) Eze 36:4 darum hört, ihr Berge Israels, das Wort des HERRN HERRN! So spricht der HERR HERR zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern, zu den öden Wüsten und verlassenen Städten, welche den übrigen Heiden ringsumher zum Raub und Spott geworden sind:(dhs) Eze 36:4 therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around--(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:5 ============ Eze 36:5 therefore thus says the Lord God, "Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey."(nas) Eze 36:5 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος εἰ μὴν ἐν πυρὶ θυμοῦ μου ἐλάλησα ἐπὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἔθνη καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν πᾶσαν ὅτι ἔδωκαν τὴν γῆν μου ἑαυτοῖς εἰς κατάσχεσιν μετ᾽ εὐφροσύνης ἀτιμάσαντες ψυχὰς τοῦ ἀφανίσαι ἐν προνομῇ (lxx) Eze 36:5 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Quoniam in igne zeli mei locutus sum de reliquis gentibus, et de Idumæa universa, quæ dederunt terram meam sibi in hæreditatem cum gaudio, et toto corde et ex animo, et ejecerunt eam ut vastarent:(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Surely in the fire of mine indignation haue I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which haue taken my lande for their possession, with the ioy of all their heart, and with despitefull mindes to cast it out for a pray.(Geneva) Eze 36:5 ja, so spricht der HERR HERR: Ich habe in meinem feurigen Eifer geredet wider die Heiden und wider das ganze Edom, welche mein Land eingenommen haben mit Freuden von ganzem Herzen und mit Hohnlachen, es zu verheeren und zu plündern.(dhs) Eze 36:5 therefore thus says the Lord God: "Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country." '(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:6 ============ Eze 36:6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys," Thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My wrath because you have endured the insults of the nations.'(nas) Eze 36:6 διὰ τοῦτο προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς καὶ ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ ταῖς νάπαις τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐν τῷ ζήλῳ μου καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ μου ἐλάλησα ἀντὶ τοῦ ὀνειδισμοὺς ἐθνῶν ἐνέγκαι ὑμᾶς (lxx) Eze 36:6 idcirco vaticinare super humum Israël, et dices montibus et collibus, jugis et vallibus: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego in zelo meo et in furore meo locutus sum, eo quod confusionem gentium sustinueritis.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:6 Prophesie therfore vpon the land of Israel, and say vnto the mountaines, and to the hilles, to the riuers, & to the valleys, Thus sayth the Lorde God, Behold, I haue spoken in mine indignation, and in my wrath, because yee haue suffered the shame of the heathen,(Geneva) Eze 36:6 Darum weissage von dem Lande Israel und sprich zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich habe in meinem Eifer und Grimm geredet, weil ihr solche Schmach von den Heiden tragen müsset.(dhs) Eze 36:6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:7 ============ Eze 36:7 Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults. (nas) Eze 36:7 διὰ τοῦτο ἐγὼ ἀρῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη τὰ περικύκλῳ ὑμῶν οὗτοι τὴν ἀτιμίαν αὐτῶν λήμψονται (lxx) Eze 36:7 Idcirco hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ego levavi manum meam, ut gentes quæ in circuitu vestro sunt, ipsæ confusionem suam portent.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, I haue lifted vp mine hand, surely the heathen that are about you, shal beare their shame.(Geneva) Eze 36:7 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Ich hebe meine Hand auf, daß eure Nachbarn, die Heiden umher, ihre Schande tragen sollen.(dhs) Eze 36:7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:8 ============ Eze 36:8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you will put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come. (nas) Eze 36:8 ὑμῶν δέ ὄρη Ισραηλ τὴν σταφυλὴν καὶ τὸν καρπὸν ὑμῶν καταφάγεται ὁ λαός μου ὅτι ἐγγίζουσιν τοῦ ἐλθεῖν (lxx) Eze 36:8 Vos autem, montes Israël, ramos vestros germinetis, et fructum vestrum afferatis populo meo Israël: prope enim est ut veniat.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:8 But you, O mountaines of Israel, yee shall shoote forth your branches, and bring foorth your fruite to my people of Israel: for they are ready to come.(Geneva) Eze 36:8 Aber ihr Berge Israels sollt wieder grünen und eure Frucht bringen meinem Volk Israel; und es soll in kurzem geschehen.(dhs) Eze 36:8 "But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:9 ============ Eze 36:9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you will be cultivated and sown. (nas) Eze 36:9 ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐπιβλέψω ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καὶ κατεργασθήσεσθε καὶ σπαρήσεσθε (lxx) Eze 36:9 Quia ecce ego ad vos, et convertar ad vos: et arabimini, et accipietis sementem.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:9 For behold, I come vnto you, & I wil turne vnto you, and ye shalbe tilled and sowen.(Geneva) Eze 36:9 Denn siehe, ich will mich wieder zu euch wenden und euch ansehen, daß ihr gebaut und besät werdet;(dhs) Eze 36:9 For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:10 ============ Eze 36:10 I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be rebuilt. (nas) Eze 36:10 καὶ πληθυνῶ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους πᾶν οἶκον Ισραηλ εἰς τέλος καὶ κατοικηθήσονται αἱ πόλεις καὶ ἡ ἠρημωμένη οἰκοδομηθήσεται (lxx) Eze 36:10 Et multiplicabo in vobis homines, omnemque domum Israël: et habitabuntur civitates, et ruinosa instaurabuntur.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:10 And I wil multiply the men vpon you, euen all the house of Israel wholly, & the cities shalbe inhabited, & the desolate places shalbe builded.(Geneva) Eze 36:10 und will bei euch der Leute viel machen, das ganze Israel allzumal; und die Städte sollen wieder bewohnt und die Wüsten erbaut werden.(dhs) Eze 36:10 I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:11 ============ Eze 36:11 I will multiply on you man and beast; and they will increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as you were formerly and will treat you better than at the first. Thus you will know that I am the Lord. (nas) Eze 36:11 καὶ πληθυνῶ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους καὶ κτήνη καὶ κατοικιῶ ὑμᾶς ὡς τὸ ἐν ἀρχῇ ὑμῶν καὶ εὖ ποιήσω ὑμᾶς ὥσπερ τὰ ἔμπροσθεν ὑμῶν καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (lxx) Eze 36:11 Et replebo vos hominibus et jumentis, et multiplicabuntur, et crescent: et habitare vos faciam sicut a principio, bonisque donabo majoribus quam habuistis ab initio: et scietis quia ego Dominus.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:11 And I wil multiply vpon you man & beast, and they shal encrease, and bring fruite, and I will cause you to dwell after your olde estate, & I will bestowe benefites vpon you more then at the first, and ye shal know that I am the Lord.(Geneva) Eze 36:11 Ja, ich will bei euch der Leute und des Viehs viel machen, daß sie sich mehren und wachsen sollen. Und ich will euch wieder bewohnt machen wie vorher und will euch mehr Gutes tun denn zuvor je; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.(dhs) Eze 36:11 I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:12 ============ Eze 36:12 Yes, I will cause men--My people Israel--to walk on you and possess you, so that you will become their inheritance and never again bereave them of children.'(nas) Eze 36:12 καὶ γεννήσω ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ καὶ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔσεσθε αὐτοῖς εἰς κατάσχεσιν καὶ οὐ μὴ προστεθῆτε ἔτι ἀτεκνωθῆναι ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 36:12 Et adducam super vos homines, populum meum Israël, et hæreditate possidebunt te: et eris eis in hæreditatem, et non addes ultra ut absque eis sis.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:12 Yea, I wil cause men to walke vpon you, euen my people Israel, and they shall possesse you, and ye shalbe their inheritance, and ye shal no more henceforth depriue them of men.(Geneva) Eze 36:12 Ich will euch Leute herzubringen, mein Volk Israel, die werden dich besitzen; und sollst ihr Erbteil sein und sollst sie nicht mehr ohne Erben machen.(dhs) Eze 36:12 Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, My people Israel; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their inheritance; no more shall you bereave them of children."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:13 ============ Eze 36:13 "Thus says the Lord God, 'Because they say to you, "You are a devourer of men and have bereaved your nation of children,"(nas) Eze 36:13 τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν εἶπάν σοι κατέσθουσα ἀνθρώπους εἶ καὶ ἠτεκνωμένη ὑπὸ τοῦ ἔθνους σου ἐγένου (lxx) Eze 36:13 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Pro eo quod dicunt de vobis: Devoratrix hominum es, et suffocans gentem tuam:(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:13 Thus sayth the Lord God, because they say vnto you, Thou land deuourest vp men, & hast bene a waster of thy people,(Geneva) Eze 36:13 So spricht der HERR HERR: Weil man das von euch sagt: Du hast Leute gefressen und hast dein Volk ohne Erben gemacht,(dhs) Eze 36:13 Thus says the Lord God: "Because they say to you, 'You devour men and bereave your nation of children,'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:14 ============ Eze 36:14 therefore you will no longer devour men and no longer bereave your nation of children,' declares the Lord God. (nas) Eze 36:14 διὰ τοῦτο ἀνθρώπους οὐκέτι φάγεσαι καὶ τὸ ἔθνος σου οὐκ ἀτεκνώσεις ἔτι λέγει κύριος κύριος (lxx) Eze 36:14 propterea homines non comedes amplius, et gentem tuam non necabis ultra, ait Dominus Deus.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:14 Therefore thou shalt deuoure men no more, neither waste thy people henceforth, sayth the Lord God,(Geneva) Eze 36:14 darum sollst du nun nicht mehr Leute fressen noch dein Volk ohne Erben machen, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 36:14 therefore you shall devour men no more, nor bereave your nation anymore," says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:15 ============ Eze 36:15 "I will not let you hear insults from the nations anymore, nor will you bear disgrace from the peoples any longer, nor will you cause your nation to stumble any longer," declares the Lord God.'"(nas) Eze 36:15 καὶ οὐκ ἀκουσθήσεται οὐκέτι ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἀτιμία ἐθνῶν καὶ ὀνειδισμοὺς λαῶν οὐ μὴ ἀνενέγκητε λέγει κύριος κύριος (lxx) Eze 36:15 Nec auditam faciam in te amplius confusionem gentium, et opprobrium populorum nequaquam portabis: et gentem tuam non amittes amplius, ait Dominus Deus.]~(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:15 Neither will I cause men to heare in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou beare the reproche of the people any more, neither shalt cause thy folke to fal any more, saith the Lord God.(Geneva) Eze 36:15 Und ich will dich nicht mehr lassen hören die Schmähung der Heiden, und sollst den Spott der Heiden nicht mehr tragen und sollst dein Volk nicht mehr ohne Erben machen, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 36:15 Nor will I let you hear the taunts of the nations anymore, nor bear the reproach of the peoples anymore, nor shall you cause your nation to stumble anymore," says the Lord God.' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:16 ============ Eze 36:16 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nas) Eze 36:16 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 36:16 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:16 Moreouer the word of the Lorde came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Eze 36:16 Und des HERRN Wort geschah weiter zu mir:(dhs) Eze 36:16 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:17 ============ Eze 36:17 "Son of man, when the house of Israel was living in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity. (nas) Eze 36:17 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου οἶκος Ισραηλ κατῴκησεν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμίαναν αὐτὴν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἀκαθαρσίαις αὐτῶν κατὰ τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν τῆς ἀποκαθημένης ἐγενήθη ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτῶν πρὸ προσώπου μου (lxx) Eze 36:17 [Fili hominis, domus Israël habitaverunt in humo sua, et polluerunt eam in viis suis et in studiis suis: juxta immunditiam menstruatæ facta est via eorum coram me.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:17 Sonne of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their owne lande, they defiled it by their owne wayes, & by their deedes: their way was before me as the filthinesse of the menstruous.(Geneva) Eze 36:17 Du Menschenkind, da das Haus Israel in seinem Lande wohnte und es verunreinigte mit seinem Wesen und Tun, daß ihr Wesen vor mir war wie die Unreinigkeit eines Weibes in ihrer Krankheit,(dhs) Eze 36:17 "Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:18 ============ Eze 36:18 Therefore I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols. (nas) Eze 36:18 καὶ ἐξέχεα τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς (lxx) Eze 36:18 Et effudi indignationem meam super eos pro sanguine quem fuderunt super terram, et in idolis suis polluerunt eam.(vulgate) Ezekiel 36:18 Wherfore I powred my wrath vpon them, for the blood that they had shed in the land, and for their idoles, wherewith they had polluted it.(Geneva) Eze 36:18 da schüttete ich meinen Grimm über sie aus um des Blutes willen, das sie im Lande vergossen, und weil sie es verunreinigt hatten durch ihre Götzen.(dhs) Eze 36:18 Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 36:19 ============ Eze 36:19 Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
