Gen 42:4 But Jacob did not send Joseph's brother Benjamin with his brothers, for he said, "I am afraid that harm may befall him."(nasb) Genèse 42:4 Jacob n'envoya point avec eux Benjamin, frère de Joseph, dans la crainte qu'il ne lui arrivât quelque malheur.(F) Génesis 42:4 Mas Jacob no envió a Benjamín hermano de José con sus hermanos; porque dijo: No sea acaso que le acontezca algún desastre.(rvg-E) 創 世 記 42:4 但 约 瑟 的 兄 弟 便 雅 悯 ， 雅 各 没 有 打 发 他 和 哥 哥 们 同 去 ， 因 为 雅 各 说 ： 恐 怕 他 遭 害 。(CN) бытие 42:4 а Вениамина, брата Иосифова, не послал Иаков с братьями его, ибо сказал: не случилось бы с ним беды.(RU) (Arabic) ﻦﻳﻮﻜﺗ 42:4 واما بنيامين اخو يوسف فلم يرسله يعقوب مع اخوته. لانه قال لعلّه تصيبه اذيّة उत्पत्ति 42:4 पर यूसुफ के भाई बिन्यामीन को याकूब ने यह सोचकर भाइयों के साथ न भेजा कि कहीं ऐसा न हो कि उस पर कोई विपत्ति आ पड़े। (IN) Gênesis 42:4 Mas Jacó não enviou a Benjamim irmão de José com seus irmãos; porque disse: Não seja acaso que lhe aconteça algum desastre.(PT) Gen 42:4 But Jacob did not send Joseph's brother Benjamin with his brothers, for he said, "Lest some calamity befall him."(nkjv)
Gen 42:5 So the sons of Israel came to buy grain among those who were coming, for the famine was in the land of Canaan also.(nasb) Genèse 42:5 Les fils d'Israël vinrent pour acheter du blé, au milieu de ceux qui venaient aussi; car la famine était dans le pays de Canaan.(F) Génesis 42:5 Y vinieron los hijos de Israel a comprar entre los que venían: porque había hambre en la tierra de Canaán.(rvg-E) 創 世 記 42:5 来 籴 粮 的 人 中 有 以 色 列 的 儿 子 们 ， 因 为 迦 南 地 也 有 饥 荒 。(CN) бытие 42:5 И пришли сыны Израилевы покупать хлеб, вместе с другими пришедшими, ибо в земле Ханаанской был голод.(RU) (Arabic) ﻦﻳﻮﻜﺗ 42:5 فاتى بنو اسرائيل ليشتروا بين الذين اتوا. لان الجوع كان في ارض كنعان. उत्पत्ति 42:5 इस प्रकार जो लोग अन्न मोल लेने आए उनके साथ इस्राएल के पुत्र भी आए; क्योंकि कनान देश में भी भारी अकाल था। (IN) Gênesis 42:5 E vieram os filhos de Israel a comprar entre os que vinham: porque havia fome na terra de Canaã.(PT) Gen 42:5 And the sons of Israel went to buy grain among those who journeyed, for the famine was in the land of Canaan.(nkjv)
Gen 42:6 Now Joseph was the ruler over the land; he was the one who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.(nasb) Genèse 42:6 Joseph commandait dans le pays; c'est lui qui vendait du blé à tout le peuple du pays. Les frères de Joseph vinrent, et se prosternèrent devant lui la face contre terre.(F) Génesis 42:6 Y José [era] el señor de la tierra; él era quien le vendía a todo el pueblo de la tierra. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down before him with their faces to the earth.(nkjv)
Gen 42:7 When Joseph saw his brothers he recognized them, but he disguised himself to them and spoke to them harshly. And he said to them, "Where have you come from?" And they said, "From the land of Canaan, to buy food."(nasb) Genèse 42:7 Joseph vit ses frères et les reconnut; mais il feignit d'être un étranger pour eux, il leur parla durement, et leur dit: D'où venez-vous? Ils répondirent: Du pays de Canaan, pour acheter des vivres.(F) Génesis 42:7 Y José como vio a sus hermanos, los reconoció; mas hizo como que no los conocía, y les habló ásperamente, y les dijo: ¿De dónde habéis venido? Они сказали: из земли Ханаанской, купить пищи.(RU) (Arabic) ﻦﻳﻮﻜﺗ 42:7 ولما نظر يوسف اخوته عرفهم. فتنكّر لهم وتكلم معهم بجفاء وقال لهم من اين جئتم. فقالوا من ارض كنعان لنشتري طعاما. उत्पत्ति 42:7 उनको देखकर यूसुफ ने पहचान तो लिया, परन्तु उनके सामने भोला बनकर कठोरता के साथ उनसे पूछा, “तुम कहाँ से आते हो?” उन्होंने कहा, “हम तो कनान देश से अन्न मोल लेने के लिये आए हैं।” (IN) Gênesis 42:7 E José quando viu seus irmãos, reconheceu-os; mas fez que não os conhecesse, e falou-lhes asperamente, e lhes disse: De onde viestes? Eles responderam: Da terra de Canaã, para comprar alimentos.(PT) Gen 42:7 Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to them and spoke roughly to them. Then he said to them, "Where do you come from?" And they said, "From the land of Canaan to buy food."(nkjv)

Gen 42:9 Joseph remembered the dreams which he had about them, and said to them, "You are spies; you have come to look at the undefended parts of our land."(nasb) Genèse 42:9 Joseph se souvint des songes qu'il avait eus à leur sujet, et il leur dit: Vous êtes des espions; c'est pour observer les lieux faibles du pays que vous êtes venus.(F) Génesis 42:9 Entonces se acordó José de los sueños que había tenido de ellos, y les dijo: Espías sois; por ver lo descubierto del país habéis venido.(rvg-E) 創 世 記 42:9 约 瑟 想 起 从 前 所 做 的 那 两 个 梦 ， 就 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 是 奸 细 ， 来 窥 探 这 地 的 虚 实 。(CN) бытие 42:9 И вспомнил Иосиф сны, которые снились ему о них; и сказал им: высоглядатаи, вы пришли высмотреть наготу земли сей.(RU) (Arabic) ﻦﻳﻮﻜﺗ 42:9 فتذكر يوسف الاحلام التي حلم عنهم وقال لهم جواسيس انتم. لتروا عورة الارض جئتم. उत्पत्ति 42:9 तब यूसुफ अपने उन स्वप्नों को स्मरण करके जो उसने उनके विषय में देखे थे, उनसे कहने लगा, “तुम भेदिये हो; इस देश की दुर्दशा को देखने के लिये आए हो।” (IN) Gênesis 42:9 Então se lembrou José dos sonhos que havia tido deles, e disse-lhes: Sois espias; viestes ver a fraqueza do país.(PT) Gen 42:9 Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, "You are spies! Gen 42:15 by this you will be tested: by the life of Pharaoh, you shall not go from this place unless your youngest brother comes here!(nasb) Genèse 42:15 Voici comment vous serez éprouvés. Par la vie de Pharaon! vous ne sortirez point d'ici que votre jeune frère ne soit venu.(F) Génesis 42:15 En esto seréis probados: Vive Faraón que no saldréis de aquí, al menos que vuestro hermano menor venga aquí.(rvg-E) 創 世 記 42:15 我 指 着 法 老 的 性 命 起 誓 ， 若 是 你 们 的 小 兄 弟 不 到 这 里 ， 你 们 就 不 得 出 这 地 方 ， 从 此 就 可 以 把 你 们 证 验 出 来 了 。(CN) бытие 42:15 вот как вы будете испытаны: клянусь жизнью фараона, вы не выйдете отсюда, если не придет сюда меньший брат ваш;(RU) (Arabic) ﻦﻳﻮﻜﺗ 42:15 بهذا تمتحنون. وحياة فرعون لا تخرجون من هنا الا بمجيء اخيكم الصغير الى هنا. उत्पत्ति 42:15 अतः इसी रीति से तुम परखे जाओगे, फ़िरौन के जीवन की शपथ, जब तक तुम्हारा छोटा भाई यहाँ न आए तब तक तुम यहाँ से न निकलने पाओगे। (IN) Gênesis 42:15 Nisto sereis provados: Vive Faraó que não saireis daqui, a não ser quando vosso irmão menor vier aqui.(PT) Gen 42:15 In this manner you shall be tested: By the life of Pharaoh, you shall not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here.(nkjv)
Gen 42:16 Send one of you that he may get your brother, while you remain confined, that your words may be tested, whether there is truth in you. But if not, by the life of Pharaoh, surely you are spies."(nasb) Genèse 42:16 Envoyez l'un de vous pour chercher votre frère; et vous, restez prisonniers. Gen 42:24 He turned away from them and wept. Gen 42:25 Then Joseph gave orders to fill their bags with grain and to restore every man's money in his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey.
