Além disso, Asa destruiu o ídolo dela, e o queimou junto ao ribeiro de Cedrom.(PT) 1Ki 15:13 Also he removed Maachah his grandmother from being queen mother, because she had made an obscene image of Asherah. And Asa cut down her obscene image and burned it by the Brook Kidron.(nkjv)

Contudo, o coração de Asa foi perfeito para com o SENHOR durante toda a sua vida.(PT) 1Ki 15:14 But the high places were not removed.
