Exilic---- Eze 13:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:1 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:2---- Eze 13:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ προφητεύσεις καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, 'Listen to the word of the Lord!(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:3---- Eze 13:3 τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ τοῖς προφητεύουσιν ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ καθόλου μὴ βλέπουσιν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:4---- Eze 13:4 οἱ προφῆταί σου Ισραηλ ὡς ἀλώπεκες ἐν ταῖς ἐρήμοις (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:5---- Eze 13:5 οὐκ ἔστησαν ἐν στερεώματι καὶ συνήγαγον ποίμνια ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἀνέστησαν οἱ λέγοντες ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κυρίου (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:6---- Eze 13:6 βλέποντες ψευδῆ μαντευόμενοι μάταια οἱ λέγοντες λέγει κύριος καὶ κύριος οὐκ ἀπέσταλκεν αὐτούς καὶ ἤρξαντο τοῦ ἀναστῆσαι λόγον (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:6 They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, 'The Lord declares, 'when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:7---- Eze 13:7 οὐχ ὅρασιν ψευδῆ ἑωράκατε καὶ μαντείας ματαίας εἰρήκατε (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:7 Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, 'The Lord declares, 'but it is not I who have spoken?"'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:8---- Eze 13:8 διὰ τοῦτο εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν οἱ λόγοι ὑμῶν ψευδεῖς καὶ αἱ μαντεῖαι ὑμῶν μάταιαι διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:8 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you," declares the Lord God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:9---- Eze 13:9 καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς ὁρῶντας ψευδῆ καὶ τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους μάταια ἐν παιδείᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ μου οὐκ ἔσονται οὐδὲ ἐν γραφῇ οἴκου Ισραηλ οὐ γραφήσονται καὶ εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσελεύσονται καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:9 "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:10---- Eze 13:10 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τὸν λαόν μου ἐπλάνησαν λέγοντες εἰρήνη εἰρήνη καὶ οὐκ ἦν εἰρήνη καὶ οὗτος οἰκοδομεῖ τοῖχον καὶ αὐτοὶ ἀλείφουσιν αὐτόν εἰ πεσεῖται (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:10 It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:11---- Eze 13:11 εἰπὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἀλείφοντας πεσεῖται καὶ ἔσται ὑετὸς κατακλύζων καὶ δώσω λίθους πετροβόλους εἰς τοὺς ἐνδέσμους αὐτῶν καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξαῖρον καὶ ῥαγήσεται (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:11 so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:12---- Eze 13:12 καὶ ἰδοὺ πέπτωκεν ὁ τοῖχος καὶ οὐκ ἐροῦσιν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ποῦ ἐστιν ἡ ἀλοιφὴ ὑμῶν ἣν ἠλείψατε (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:13---- Eze 13:13 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ῥήξω πνοὴν ἐξαίρουσαν μετὰ θυμοῦ καὶ ὑετὸς κατακλύζων ἐν ὀργῇ μου ἔσται καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς πετροβόλους ἐν θυμῷ ἐπάξω εἰς συντέλειαν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:14---- Eze 13:14 καὶ κατασκάψω τὸν τοῖχον ὃν ἠλείψατε καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ θήσω αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτοῦ καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ συντελεσθήσεσθε μετ᾽ ἐλέγχων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:14 So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. Prophesy against them(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:18---- Eze 13:18 καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ ταῖς συρραπτούσαις προσκεφάλαια ἐπὶ πάντα ἀγκῶνα χειρὸς καὶ ποιούσαις ἐπιβόλαια ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κεφαλὴν πάσης ἡλικίας τοῦ διαστρέφειν ψυχάς αἱ ψυχαὶ διεστράφησαν τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ ψυχὰς περιεποιοῦντο (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:18 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all wrists and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature to hunt down lives! Will you hunt down the lives of My people, but preserve the lives of others for yourselves?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:19---- Eze 13:19 καὶ ἐβεβήλουν με πρὸς τὸν λαόν μου ἕνεκεν δρακὸς κριθῶν καὶ ἕνεκεν κλασμάτων ἄρτου τοῦ ἀποκτεῖναι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ἀποθανεῖν καὶ τοῦ περιποιήσασθαι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ζῆσαι ἐν τῷ ἀποφθέγγεσθαι ὑμᾶς λαῷ εἰσακούοντι μάταια ἀποφθέγματα (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:19 For handfuls of barley and fragments of bread, you have profaned Me to My people to put to death some who should not die and to keep others alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies."'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:20---- Eze 13:20 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τὰ προσκεφάλαια ὑμῶν ἐφ᾽ ἃ ὑμεῖς συστρέφετε ἐκεῖ ψυχάς καὶ διαρρήξω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ τῶν βραχιόνων ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ τὰς ψυχάς ἃς ὑμεῖς ἐκστρέφετε τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν εἰς διασκορπισμόν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:20 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against your magic bands by which you hunt lives there as birds and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let them go, even those lives whom you hunt as birds.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:21---- Eze 13:21 καὶ διαρρήξω τὰ ἐπιβόλαια ὑμῶν καὶ ῥύσομαι τὸν λαόν μου ἐκ χειρὸς ὑμῶν καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἐν χερσὶν ὑμῶν εἰς συστροφήν καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people from your hands, and they will no longer be in your hands to be hunted; and you will know that I am the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:22---- Eze 13:22 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν διεστρέφετε καρδίαν δικαίου ἀδίκως καὶ ἐγὼ οὐ διέστρεφον αὐτὸν καὶ τοῦ κατισχῦσαι χεῖρας ἀνόμου τὸ καθόλου μὴ ἀποστρέψαι ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς καὶ ζῆσαι αὐτόν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:22 Because you disheartened the righteous with falsehood when I did not cause him grief, but have encouraged the wicked not to turn from his wicked way and preserve his life,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 13:23---- Eze 13:23 διὰ τοῦτο ψευδῆ οὐ μὴ ἴδητε καὶ μαντείας οὐ μὴ μαντεύσησθε ἔτι καὶ ῥύσομαι τὸν λαόν μου ἐκ χειρὸς ὑμῶν καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 13:23 therefore, you women will no longer see false visions or practice divination, and I will deliver My people out of your hand.
