ネヘミヤ 記 4:1 サンバラテはわれわれが城壁を築くのを聞いて怒り、大いに憤ってユダヤ人をあざけった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:1 Now it came about that when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became furious and very angry and mocked the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:2---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:2 彼はその兄弟たちおよびサマリヤの兵隊の前で語って言った、「この弱々しいユダヤ人は何をしているのか。自分で再興しようとするのか。犠牲をささげようとするのか。一日で事を終えようとするのか。塵塚の中の石はすでに焼けているのに、これを取りだして生かそうとするのか」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:2 He spoke in the presence of his brothers and the wealthy men of Samaria and said, "What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the dusty rubble even the burned ones?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:3---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:3 またアンモンびとトビヤは、彼のかたわらにいて言った、「そうだ、彼らの築いている城壁は、きつね一匹が上ってもくずれるであろう」と。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was near him and he said, "Even what they are building--if a fox should jump on it, he would break their stone wall down!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:4---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:4 「われわれの神よ、聞いてください。われわれは侮られています。彼らのはずかしめを彼らのこうべに返し、彼らを捕囚の地でぶんどり物にしてください。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:4 Hear, O our God, how we are despised! Return their reproach on their own heads and give them up for plunder in a land of captivity.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:5---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:5 彼らのとがをおおわず、彼らの罪をみ前から消し去らないでください。彼らは築き建てる者の前であなたを怒らせたからです」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:5 Do not forgive their iniquity and let not their sin be blotted out before You, for they have demoralized the builders.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:6---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:6 こうしてわれわれは城壁を築いたが、石がきはみな相連なって、その高さの半ばにまで達した。民が心をこめて働いたからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:6 So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:7---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:7 ところがサンバラテ、トビヤ、アラビヤびと、アンモンびと、アシドドびとらは、エルサレムの城壁の修理が進展し、その破れ目もふさがり始めたと聞いて大いに怒り、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:7 Now when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repair of the walls of Jerusalem went on, and that the breaches began to be closed, they were very angry.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:8---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:8 皆共に相はかり、エルサレムを攻めて、その中に混乱を起そうとした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:8 All of them conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause a disturbance in it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:9---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:9 そこでわれわれは神に祈り、また日夜見張りを置いて彼らに備えた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:9 But we prayed to our God, and because of them we set up a guard against them day and night.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:10---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:10 その時、ユダびとは言った、「荷を負う者の力は衰え、そのうえ、灰土がおびただしいので、われわれは城壁を築くことができない」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:10 Thus in Judah it was said, "The strength of the burden bearers is failing, Yet there is much rubbish; And we ourselves are unable To rebuild the wall."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:11---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:11 またわれわれの敵は言った、「彼らの知らないうちに、また見ないうちに、彼らの中にはいりこんで彼らを殺し、その工事をやめさせよう」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:11 Our enemies said, "They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them and put a stop to the work."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:12---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:12 また彼らの近くに住んでいるユダヤ人たちはきて、十度もわれわれに言った、「彼らはその住んでいるすべての所からわれわれに攻め上るでしょう」と。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:12 When the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times, "They will come up against us from every place where you may turn,"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:13---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:13 そこでわたしは民につるぎ、やりおよび弓を持たせ、城壁の後の低い所、すなわち空地にその家族にしたがって立たせた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:13 then I stationed men in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, the exposed places, and I stationed the people in families with their swords, spears and bows.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:14---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:14 わたしは見めぐり、立って尊い人々、つかさたち、およびその他の民らに言った、「あなたがたは彼らを恐れてはならない。大いなる恐るべき主を覚え、あなたがたの兄弟、むすこ、娘、妻および家のために戦いなさい」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:14 When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: "Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:15---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:15 われわれの敵は自分たちの事が、われわれに悟られたことを聞き、また神が彼らの計りごとを破られたことを聞いたので、われわれはみな城壁に帰り、おのおのその工事を続けた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:15 When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had frustrated their plan, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:16---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:16 その日から後は、わたしのしもべの半数は工事に働き、半数はやり、盾、弓、よろいをもって武装した。そしてつかさたちは城壁を築いているユダの全家の後に立った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:16 From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates; and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:17---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:17 荷を負い運ぶ者はおのおの片手で工事をなし、片手に武器を執った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:17 Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:18---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:18 築き建てる者はおのおのその腰につるぎを帯びて築き建て、ラッパを吹く者はわたしのかたわらにいた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:18 As for the builders, each wore his sword girded at his side as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:19---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:19 わたしは尊い人々、つかさたち、およびその他の民に言った、「工事は大きくかつ広がっているので、われわれは城壁の上で互に遠く離れている。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:19 I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall far from one another.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:20---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:20 どこででもラッパの音を聞いたなら、そこにいるわれわれの所に集まってほしい。われわれの神はわれわれのために戦われます」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:20 At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:21---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:21 このようにして、われわれは工事を進めたが、半数の者は夜明けから星の出る時まで、やりを執っていた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:21 So we carried on the work with half of them holding spears from dawn until the stars appeared.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:22---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:22 その時わたしはまた民に告げて、「おのおのそのしもべと共にエルサレムの内に宿り、夜はわれわれの護衛者となり、昼は工事をするように」と言った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:22 At that time I also said to the people, "Let each man with his servant spend the night within Jerusalem so that they may be a guard for us by night and a laborer by day."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:23---- ネヘミヤ 記 4:23 そして、わたしも、わたしの兄弟たちも、わたしのしもべたちも、わたしを護衛する人々も、われわれのうちひとりも、その衣を脱がず、おのおの手に武器を執っていた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:23 So neither I, my brothers, my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me, none of us removed our clothes, each took his weapon even to the water.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 5:1 ---- written 445-425 B.C.---- |
