And a certain man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the land of Moab with his wife and his two sons.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:2---- Рут. 1:2 А ім'я тому чоловікові Елімелех, а ім'я жінці його Ноомі; і ім'я двох синів його Махлон і Кілйон, ефратяни з Віфлеєму Юдиного. І прийшли вони на моавські поля, та й залишилися.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:2 The name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife, Naomi; and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem in Judah. Now they entered the land of Moab and remained there.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:3---- Рут. 1:3 І помер Елімелех, муж Ноомі, і зосталася вона та два їхні сини.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:3 Then Elimelech, Naomi's husband, died; and she was left with her two sons.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:4---- Рут. 1:4 І взяли вони собі за жінок моавітянок, ім'я одній Орпа, а ім'я другій Рут. І сиділи вони там близько десяти літ.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:4 They took for themselves Moabite women as wives; the name of the one was Orpah and the name of the other Ruth. І позосталася та жінка по двох дітях своїх та по чоловікові своєму.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:5 Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died, and the woman was bereft of her two children and her husband.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:6---- Рут. 1:6 І встала вона та невістки її, і вернулися з моавських піль, бо почула на моавському полі, що Господь згадав про народ Свій, даючи їм хліба.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters-in-law that she might return from the land of Moab, for she had heard in the land of Moab that the Lord had visited His people in giving them food.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:7---- Рут. 1:7 І вийшла вона з того місця, де була там, та обидві невістки з нею, та й пішли дорогою, щоб вернутися до Юдиного краю.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:7 So she departed from the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:8---- Рут. 1:8 І сказала Ноомі до двох своїх невісток: Ідіть, верніться кожна до дому своєї матері. І нехай Господь зробить із вами милість, як ви зробили з померлими та зо мною.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:8 And Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, "Go, return each of you to her mother's house. May the Lord deal kindly with you as you have dealt with the dead and with me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:9---- Рут. 1:9 Нехай Господь дасть вам, і ви знайдете відпочинок кожна в домі свого мужа! І вона поцілувала їх, а вони підняли свій голос та плакали.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:9 May the Lord grant that you may find rest, each in the house of her husband." Why should you go with me? Have I yet sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:12---- Рут. 1:12 Верніться, дочки мої, ідіть, бо я занадто стара, щоб бути для мужа. А коли б я й сказала: Маю надію, і коли б цієї ночі була з мужем, і також породила синів,(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:12 Return, my daughters! Go, for I am too old to have a husband. If I said I have hope, if I should even have a husband tonight and also bear sons,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:13---- Рут. 1:13 чи ж ви чекали б їх, аж поки повиростають? Чи ж ви зв'язалися б з ними, щоб не бути замужем? Ні, дочки мої, бо мені значно гірше, як вам, бо Господня рука знайшла мене.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:13 would you therefore wait until they were grown? Would you therefore refrain from marrying? No, my daughters; for it is harder for me than for you, for the hand of the Lord has gone forth against me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:14---- Рут. 1:14 І підняли вони голос свій, і заплакали ще. І поцілувала Орпа свою свекруху, а Рут пригорнулася до неї.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:14 And they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:15---- Рут. 1:15 І сказала Ноомі: Ось зовиця твоя вернулася до народу свого та до богів своїх, вернися й ти за зовицею своєю!(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:15 Then she said, "Behold, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and her gods; return after your sister-in-law."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:16---- Рут. 1:16 А Рут відказала: Не силуй мене, щоб я покинула тебе, щоб я вернулася від тебе, бо куди підеш ти, туди піду й я, а де житимеш ти, там житиму й я. Народ твій буде мій народ, а Бог твій мій Бог.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:16 But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:17---- Рут. 1:17 Де помреш ти, там помру й я, і там буду похована. Нехай Господь зробить мені так, і так нехай додасть, і тільки смерть розлучить мене з тобою.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:17 Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. Thus may the Lord do to me, and worse, if anything but death parts you and me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:18---- Рут. 1:18 І побачила Ноомі, що вона настоює йти за нею, і перестала вговорювати її.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:18 When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more to her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:19---- Рут. 1:19 І пішли вони вдвох, аж прийшли до Віфлеєму. І сталося, коли вони входили до Віфлеєму, то зашуміло все місто про них, і говорили: Чи це Ноомі?(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:19 So they both went until they came to Bethlehem. And when they had come to Bethlehem, all the city was stirred because of them, and the women said, "Is this Naomi?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:20---- Рут. 1:20 А вона сказала їм: Не кличте мене: Ноомі, кличте мене: Мара, бо велику гіркоту зробив мені Всемогутній.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:20 She said to them, "Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:21---- Рут. 1:21 Я заможною пішла була, та порожньою вернув мене Господь. Чого кличете мене: Ноомі, коли Господь свідчив проти мене, а Всемогутній послав мені горе?(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:21 I went out full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the Lord has witnessed against me and the Almighty has afflicted me?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ruth 1:22---- Рут. 1:22 І вернулася Ноомі та з нею моавітянка Рут, невістка її, що верталася з моавських піль. І прийшли вони до Віфлеєму на початку жнив ячменю.(Ukranian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rut 1:22 So Naomi returned, and with her Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter-in-law, who returned from the land of Moab.
