Today's Date: ======= Genesis 15:1 ============ Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great." (nasb) Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward." (nkjv) Gen 15:1 Nach diesen Geschichten begab sich's, daß zu Abram geschah das Wort des HERRN im Gesicht und sprach: Fürchte dich nicht Abram! Ich bin dein Schild und dein sehr großer Lohn.(dhs) Gen 15:1 μετὰ δὲ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐγενήθη ῥῆμα κυρίου πρὸς Αβραμ ἐν ὁράματι λέγων μὴ φοβοῦ Αβραμ ἐγὼ ὑπερασπίζω σου ὁ μισθός σου πολὺς ἔσται σφόδρα (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:2 ============ Gen 15:2 Abram said, "O Lord God, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?" (nasb) Gen 15:2 But Abram said, "Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?" (nkjv) Gen 15:2 Abram sprach aber: HERR HERR, was willst du mir geben? Ich gehe dahin ohne Kinder; und dieser Elieser von Damaskus wird mein Haus besitzen.(dhs) Gen 15:2 λέγει δὲ Αβραμ δέσποτα τί μοι δώσεις ἐγὼ δὲ ἀπολύομαι ἄτεκνος ὁ δὲ υἱὸς Μασεκ τῆς οἰκογενοῦς μου οὗτος Δαμασκὸς Ελιεζερ (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:3 ============ Gen 15:3 And Abram said, "Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir." (nasb) Gen 15:3 Then Abram said, "Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!" (nkjv) Gen 15:3 Und Abram sprach weiter: Mir hast du keinen Samen gegeben; und siehe, einer von meinem Gesinde soll mein Erbe sein.(dhs) Gen 15:3 καὶ εἶπεν Αβραμ ἐπειδὴ ἐμοὶ οὐκ ἔδωκας σπέρμα ὁ δὲ οἰκογενής μου κληρονομήσει με (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:4 ============ Gen 15:4 Then behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, "This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir." (nasb) Gen 15:4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, "This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir." (nkjv) Gen 15:4 Und siehe, der HERR sprach zu ihm: Er soll nicht dein Erbe sein; sondern der von deinem Leib kommen wird, der soll dein Erbe sein.(dhs) Gen 15:4 καὶ εὐθὺς φωνὴ κυρίου ἐγένετο πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγων οὐ κληρονομήσει σε οὗτος ἀλλ᾽ ὃς ἐξελεύσεται ἐκ σοῦ οὗτος κληρονομήσει σε (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:5 ============ Gen 15:5 And He took him outside and said, "Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." (nasb) Gen 15:5 Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." (nkjv) Gen 15:5 Und er hieß ihn hinausgehen und sprach: Siehe gen Himmel und zähle die Sterne; kannst du sie zählen? und sprach zu ihm: Also soll dein Same werden.(dhs) Gen 15:5 ἐξήγαγεν δὲ αὐτὸν ἔξω καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἀνάβλεψον δὴ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἀρίθμησον τοὺς ἀστέρας εἰ δυνήσῃ ἐξαριθμῆσαι αὐτούς καὶ εἶπεν οὕτως ἔσται τὸ σπέρμα σου (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:6 ============ Gen 15:6 Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness. (nasb) Gen 15:6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. (nkjv) Gen 15:6 Abram glaubte dem HERRN, und das rechnete er ihm zur Gerechtigkeit.(dhs) Gen 15:6 καὶ ἐπίστευσεν Αβραμ τῷ θεῷ καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:7 ============ Gen 15:7 And He said to him, "I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it." (nasb) Gen 15:7 Then He said to him, "I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it." (nkjv) Gen 15:7 Und er sprach zu ihm: Ich bin der HERR, der dich von Ur in Chaldäa ausgeführt hat, daß ich dir dies Land zu besitzen gebe.(dhs) Gen 15:7 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτόν ἐγὼ ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐξαγαγών σε ἐκ χώρας Χαλδαίων ὥστε δοῦναί σοι τὴν γῆν ταύτην κληρονομῆσαι (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:8 ============ Gen 15:8 He said, "O Lord God, how may I know that I will possess it?" (nasb) Gen 15:8 And he said, "Lord God, how shall I know that I will inherit it?" (nkjv) Gen 15:8 Abram aber sprach: HERR HERR, woran soll ich merken, daß ich's besitzen werde?(dhs) Gen 15:8 εἶπεν δέ δέσποτα κύριε κατὰ τί γνώσομαι ὅτι κληρονομήσω αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:9 ============ Gen 15:9 So He said to him, "Bring Me a three year old heifer, and a three year old female goat, and a three year old ram, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon." (nasb) Gen 15:9 So He said to him, "Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon." (nasb) Gen 15:13 Then He said to Abram: "Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. (nkjv) Gen 15:13 Da sprach er zu Abram: Das sollst du wissen, daß dein Same wird fremd sein in einem Lande, das nicht sein ist; und da wird man sie zu dienen zwingen und plagen vierhundert Jahre.(dhs) Gen 15:13 καὶ ἐρρέθη πρὸς Αβραμ γινώσκων γνώσῃ ὅτι πάροικον ἔσται τὸ σπέρμα σου ἐν γῇ οὐκ ἰδίᾳ καὶ δουλώσουσιν αὐτοὺς καὶ κακώσουσιν αὐτοὺς καὶ ταπεινώσουσιν αὐτοὺς τετρακόσια ἔτη (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:14 ============ Gen 15:14 But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with many possessions. (nasb) Gen 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete." (nkjv) Gen 15:16 Sie aber sollen nach vier Mannesaltern wieder hierher kommen; denn die Missetat der Amoriter ist noch nicht voll.(dhs) Gen 15:16 τετάρτη δὲ γενεὰ ἀποστραφήσονται ὧδε οὔπω γὰρ ἀναπεπλήρωνται αἱ ἁμαρτίαι τῶν Αμορραίων ἕως τοῦ νῦν (lxx) ======= Genesis 15:17 ============ Gen 15:17 It came about when the sun had set, that it was very dark, and behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a flaming torch which passed between these pieces. (nasb) Gen 15:17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces.
