And Balak the son of Zippor was king of Moab at that time. (nasb) Num 22:4 So Moab said to the elders of Midian, "Now this company will lick up everything around us, as an ox licks up the grass of the field." And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time. (nkjv) Num 22:4 und sie sprachen zu den Ältesten der Midianiter: Nun wird dieser Haufe auffressen, was um uns ist, wie ein Ochse Kraut auf dem Felde auffrißt. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed." (nasb) Num 22:6 Therefore please come at once, curse this people for me, for they are too mighty for me. (nkjv) Num 22:6 So komm nun und verfluche mir das Volk (denn es ist mir zu mächtig), ob ich's schlagen möchte und aus dem Lande vertreiben; denn ich weiß, daß, welchen du segnest, der ist gesegnet, und welchen du verfluchst, der ist verflucht.(dhs) Num 22:6 καὶ νῦν δεῦρο ἄρασαί μοι τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ὅτι ἰσχύει οὗτος ἢ ἡμεῖς ἐὰν δυνώμεθα πατάξαι ἐξ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς γῆς ὅτι οἶδα οὓς ἐὰν εὐλογήσῃς σύ εὐλόγηνται καὶ οὓς ἐὰν καταράσῃ σύ κεκατήρανται (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:7 ============ Num 22:7 So the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fees for divination in their hand; and they came to Balaam and repeated Balak's words to him. (nkjv) Num 22:13 Da stand Bileam des Morgens auf und sprach zu den Fürsten Balaks: Gehet hin in euer Land; denn der HERR will's nicht gestatten, daß ich mit euch ziehe.(dhs) Num 22:13 καὶ ἀναστὰς Βαλααμ τὸ πρωὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἄρχουσιν Βαλακ ἀποτρέχετε πρὸς τὸν κύριον ὑμῶν οὐκ ἀφίησίν με ὁ θεὸς πορεύεσθαι μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:14 ============ Num 22:14 The leaders of Moab arose and went to Balak and said, "Balaam refused to come with us." (nasb) Num 22:14 And the princes of Moab rose and went to Balak, and said, "Balaam refuses to come with us." (nkjv) Num 22:14 Und die Fürsten der Moabiter machten sich auf, kamen zu Balak und sprachen: Bileam weigert sich, mit uns zu ziehen.(dhs) Num 22:14 καὶ ἀναστάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες Μωαβ ἦλθον πρὸς Βαλακ καὶ εἶπαν οὐ θέλει Βαλααμ πορευθῆναι μεθ᾽ ἡμῶν (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:15 ============ Num 22:15 Then Balak again sent leaders, more numerous and more distinguished than the former. (nkjv) Num 22:15 Da sandte Balak noch größere und herrlichere Fürsten, denn jene waren.(dhs) Num 22:15 καὶ προσέθετο Βαλακ ἔτι ἀποστεῖλαι ἄρχοντας πλείους καὶ ἐντιμοτέρους τούτων (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:16 ============ Num 22:16 They came to Balaam and said to him, "Thus says Balak the son of Zippor, 'Let nothing, I beg you, hinder you from coming to me; (nasb) Num 22:16 And they came to Balaam and said to him, "Thus says Balak the son of Zippor: 'Please let nothing hinder you from coming to me; (nkjv) Num 22:16 Da die zu Bileam kamen, sprachen sie zu ihm: Also läßt dir sagen Balak, der Sohn Zippors: Wehre dich doch nicht, zu mir zu ziehen;(dhs) Num 22:16 καὶ ἦλθον πρὸς Βαλααμ καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ τάδε λέγει Βαλακ ὁ τοῦ Σεπφωρ ἀξιῶ σε μὴ ὀκνήσῃς ἐλθεῖν πρός με (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:17 ============ Num 22:17 for I will indeed honor you richly, and I will do whatever you say to me. Please come then, curse this people for me.'" (nasb) Num 22:17 for I will certainly honor you greatly, and I will do whatever you say to me. Therefore please come, curse this people for me.' (nasb) Num 22:18 Then Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, "Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more. (nkjv) Num 22:18 Bileam antwortete und sprach zu den Dienern Balaks: Wenn mir Balak sein Haus voll Silber und Gold gäbe, so könnte ich doch nicht übertreten das Wort des HERRN, meines Gottes, Kleines oder Großes zu tun.(dhs) Num 22:18 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Βαλααμ καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἄρχουσιν Βαλακ ἐὰν δῷ μοι Βαλακ πλήρη τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ ἀργυρίου καὶ χρυσίου οὐ δυνήσομαι παραβῆναι τὸ ῥῆμα κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτὸ μικρὸν ἢ μέγα ἐν τῇ διανοίᾳ μου (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:19 ============ Num 22:19 Now please, you also stay here tonight, and I will find out what else the Lord will speak to me." Und die Eselin wich aus dem Wege und ging auf dem Felde; Bileam aber schlug sie, daß sie in den Weg sollte gehen.(dhs) Num 22:23 καὶ ἰδοῦσα ἡ ὄνος τὸν ἄγγελον τοῦ θεοῦ ἀνθεστηκότα ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ καὶ τὴν ῥομφαίαν ἐσπασμένην ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξέκλινεν ἡ ὄνος ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ καὶ ἐπορεύετο εἰς τὸ πεδίον καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὴν ὄνον τῇ ῥάβδῳ τοῦ εὐθῦναι αὐτὴν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:24 ============ Num 22:24 Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path of the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side. (nkjv) Num 22:28 Da tat der HERR der Eselin den Mund auf, und sie sprach zu Bileam: Was habe ich dir getan, daß du mich geschlagen hast nun dreimal?(dhs) Num 22:28 καὶ ἤνοιξεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ στόμα τῆς ὄνου καὶ λέγει τῷ Βαλααμ τί ἐποίησά σοι ὅτι πέπαικάς με τοῦτο τρίτον (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:29 ============ Num 22:29 Then Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have made a mockery of me! If there had been a sword in my hand, I would have killed you by now." (nasb) Num 22:29 And Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!" Have I ever been accustomed to do so to you?" And he said, "No." (nasb) Num 22:30 So the donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?" And he said, "No." (nkjv) Num 22:30 Die Eselin sprach zu Bileam: Bin ich nicht deine Eselin, darauf du geritten bist zu deiner Zeit bis auf diesen Tag? Habe ich auch je gepflegt, dir also zu tun? Er sprach: Nein.(dhs) Num 22:30 καὶ λέγει ἡ ὄνος τῷ Βαλααμ οὐκ ἐγὼ ἡ ὄνος σου ἐφ᾽ ἧς ἐπέβαινες ἀπὸ νεότητός σου ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας μὴ ὑπεροράσει ὑπεριδοῦσα ἐποίησά σοι οὕτως ὁ δὲ εἶπεν οὐχί (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:31 ============ Num 22:31 Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed all the way to the ground. Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me. (nkjv) Num 22:32 Und der Engel des HERRN sprach zu ihm: Warum hast du deine Eselin geschlagen nun dreimal? Siehe, ich bin ausgegangen, daß ich dir widerstehe; denn dein Weg ist vor mir verkehrt.(dhs) Num 22:32 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ ἄγγελος τοῦ θεοῦ διὰ τί ἐπάταξας τὴν ὄνον σου τοῦτο τρίτον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξῆλθον εἰς διαβολήν σου ὅτι οὐκ ἀστεία ἡ ὁδός σου ἐναντίον μου (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:33 ============ Num 22:33 But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live." (nasb) Num 22:33 The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. (nkjv) Num 22:33 Und die Eselin hat mich gesehen und ist dreimal ausgewichen; sonst, wo sie nicht vor mir gewichen wäre, so wollte ich dich auch jetzt erwürgt und die Eselin lebendig erhalten haben.(dhs) Num 22:33 καὶ ἰδοῦσά με ἡ ὄνος ἐξέκλινεν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ τρίτον τοῦτο καὶ εἰ μὴ ἐξέκλινεν νῦν οὖν σὲ μὲν ἀπέκτεινα ἐκείνην δὲ περιεποιησάμην (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:34 ============ Num 22:34 Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, "I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back." (nasb) Num 22:34 And Balaam said to the Angel of the Lord, "I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Und nun, so dir's nicht gefällt, will ich wieder umkehren.(dhs) Num 22:34 καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ τῷ ἀγγέλῳ κυρίου ἡμάρτηκα οὐ γὰρ ἠπιστάμην ὅτι σύ μοι ἀνθέστηκας ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ εἰς συνάντησιν καὶ νῦν εἰ μή σοι ἀρέσκει ἀποστραφήσομαι (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:35 ============ Num 22:35 But the angel of the Lord said to Balaam, "Go with the men, but you shall speak only the word which I tell you." So Balaam went along with the leaders of Balak. (nasb) Num 22:35 Then the Angel of the Lord said to Balaam, "Go with the men, but only the word that I speak to you, that you shall speak." Why did you not come to me? Am I really unable to honor you?" (nasb) Num 22:37 Then Balak said to Balaam, "Did I not earnestly send to you, calling for you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?" (nkjv) Num 22:37 und sprach zu ihm: Habe ich nicht zu dir gesandt und dich fordern lassen? Warum bist du denn nicht zu mir gekommen? Meinst du ich könnte dich nicht ehren?(dhs) Num 22:37 καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ οὐχὶ ἀπέστειλα πρὸς σὲ καλέσαι σε διὰ τί οὐκ ἤρχου πρός με ὄντως οὐ δυνήσομαι τιμῆσαί σε (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:38 ============ Num 22:38 So Balaam said to Balak, "Behold, I have come now to you! Am I able to speak anything at all? The word that God puts in my mouth, that I shall speak." (nasb) Num 22:38 And Balaam said to Balak, "Look, I have come to you! Now, have I any power at all to say anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that I must speak." (nkjv) Num 22:38 Bileam antwortete ihm: Siehe, ich bin gekommen zu dir; aber wie kann ich etwas anderes reden, als was mir Gott in den Mund gibt? (nasb) Num 22:39 So Balaam went with Balak, and they came to Kirjath Huzoth. (nasb) Num 22:40 Then Balak offered oxen and sheep, and he sent some to Balaam and to the princes who were with him. (nkjv) Num 22:40 Und Balak opferte Rinder und Schafe und sandte davon an Bileam und an die Fürsten, die bei ihm waren.(dhs) Num 22:40 καὶ ἔθυσεν Βαλακ πρόβατα καὶ μόσχους καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τῷ Βαλααμ καὶ τοῖς ἄρχουσι τοῖς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Numbers 22:41 ============ Num 22:41 Then it came about in the morning that Balak took Balaam and brought him up to the high places of Baal, and he saw from there a portion of the people. (nasb) Num 22:41 So it was the next day, that Balak took Balaam and brought him up to the high places of Baal, that from there he might observe the extent of the people.
