So he went to a desolate height. (nkjv) Num 23:3 Und Bileam sprach zu Balak: Tritt zu deinem Brandopfer; ich will hingehen, ob vielleicht mir der HERR begegne, daß ich dir ansage, was er mir zeigt. (nasb) Num 23:7 And he took up his oracle and said: "Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram, From the mountains of the east. 'Come, curse Jacob for me, And come, denounce Israel!' (nkjv) Num 23:7 Da hob er an seinen Spruch und sprach: Aus Syrien hat mich Balak, der Moabiter König, holen lassen von dem Gebirge gegen Aufgang: Komm, verfluche mir Jakob! komm schilt Israel!(dhs) Num 23:7 καὶ ἐγενήθη πνεῦμα θεοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτοῦ εἶπεν ἐκ Μεσοποταμίας μετεπέμψατό με Βαλακ βασιλεὺς Μωαβ ἐξ ὀρέων ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν λέγων δεῦρο ἄρασαί μοι τὸν Ιακωβ καὶ δεῦρο ἐπικατάρασαί μοι τὸν Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:8 ============ Num 23:8 "How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? Wie soll ich schelten, den der HERR nicht schilt?(dhs) Num 23:8 τί ἀράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρᾶται κύριος ἢ τί καταράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρᾶται ὁ θεός (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:9 ============ Num 23:9 "As I see him from the top of the rocks, And I look at him from the hills; Behold, a people who dwells apart, And will not be reckoned among the nations. (nasb) Num 23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, And from the hills I behold him; There! A people dwelling alone, Not reckoning itself among the nations. (nkjv) Num 23:9 Denn von der Höhe der Felsen sehe ich ihn wohl, und von den Hügeln schaue ich ihn. Siehe, das Volk wird besonders wohnen und nicht unter die Heiden gerechnet werden.(dhs) Num 23:9 ὅτι ἀπὸ κορυφῆς ὀρέων ὄψομαι αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπὸ βουνῶν προσνοήσω αὐτόν ἰδοὺ λαὸς μόνος κατοικήσει καὶ ἐν ἔθνεσιν οὐ συλλογισθήσεται (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:10 ============ Num 23:10 "Who can count the dust of Jacob, Or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, And let my end be like his!" (nkjv) Num 23:10 Wer kann zählen den Staub Jakobs und die Zahl des vierten Teils Israels? Meine Seele müsse sterben des Todes der Gerechten, und mein Ende werde wie dieser Ende!(dhs) Num 23:10 τίς ἐξηκριβάσατο τὸ σπέρμα Ιακωβ καὶ τίς ἐξαριθμήσεται δήμους Ισραηλ ἀποθάνοι ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν ψυχαῖς δικαίων καὶ γένοιτο τὸ σπέρμα μου ὡς τὸ σπέρμα τούτων (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:11 ============ Num 23:11 Then Balak said to Balaam, "What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, but behold, you have actually blessed them!" (nasb) Num 23:11 Then Balak said to Balaam, "What have you done to me? Ich habe dich holen lassen, zu fluchen meinen Feinden; und siehe, du segnest.(dhs) Num 23:11 καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ τί πεποίηκάς μοι εἰς κατάρασιν ἐχθρῶν μου κέκληκά σε καὶ ἰδοὺ εὐλόγηκας εὐλογίαν (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:12 ============ Num 23:12 He replied, "Must I not be careful to speak what the Lord puts in my mouth?" (nasb) Num 23:12 So he answered and said, "Must I not take heed to speak what the Lord has put in my mouth?" (nkjv) Num 23:12 Er antwortete und sprach: Muß ich das nicht halten und reden, was mir der HERR in den Mund gibt?(dhs) Num 23:12 καὶ εἶπεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ οὐχὶ ὅσα ἐὰν ἐμβάλῃ ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸ στόμα μου τοῦτο φυλάξω λαλῆσαι (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:13 ============ Num 23:13 Then Balak said to him, "Please come with me to another place from where you may see them, although you will only see the extreme end of them and will not see all of them; and curse them for me from there." (nasb) Num 23:13 Then Balak said to him, "Please come with me to another place from which you may see them; you shall see only the outer part of them, and shall not see them all; curse them for me from there." (nkjv) Num 23:13 Balak sprach zu ihm: Komm doch mit mir an einen andern Ort, von wo du nur sein Ende sehest und es nicht ganz sehest, und fluche mir ihm daselbst.(dhs) Num 23:13 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Βαλακ δεῦρο ἔτι μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἰς τόπον ἄλλον ἐξ ὧν οὐκ ὄψῃ αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν ἀλλ᾽ ἢ μέρος τι αὐτοῦ ὄψῃ πάντας δὲ οὐ μὴ ἴδῃς καὶ κατάρασαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:14 ============ Num 23:14 So he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar. (nkjv) Num 23:18 Und er hob an seinen Spruch und sprach: Stehe auf, Balak, und höre! nimm zu Ohren was ich sage, du Sohn Zippors!(dhs) Num 23:18 καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτοῦ εἶπεν ἀνάστηθι Βαλακ καὶ ἄκουε ἐνώτισαι μάρτυς υἱὸς Σεπφωρ (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:19 ============ Num 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Sollte er etwas reden und nicht halten?(dhs) Num 23:19 οὐχ ὡς ἄνθρωπος ὁ θεὸς διαρτηθῆναι οὐδὲ ὡς υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου ἀπειληθῆναι αὐτὸς εἴπας οὐχὶ ποιήσει λαλήσει καὶ οὐχὶ ἐμμενεῖ (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:20 ============ Num 23:20 "Behold, I have received a command to bless; When He has blessed, then I cannot revoke it. Der HERR, sein Gott, ist bei ihm und das Drommeten des Königs unter ihm.(dhs) Num 23:21 οὐκ ἔσται μόχθος ἐν Ιακωβ οὐδὲ ὀφθήσεται πόνος ἐν Ισραηλ κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὰ ἔνδοξα ἀρχόντων ἐν αὐτῷ (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:22 ============ Num 23:22 "God brings them out of Egypt, He is for them like the horns of the wild ox. (nasb) Num 23:26 So Balaam answered and said to Balak, "Did I not tell you, saying, 'All that the Lord speaks, that I must do'?" (nkjv) Num 23:26 Bileam antwortete und sprach zu Balak: Habe ich dir nicht gesagt, alles, was der HERR reden würde, das würde ich tun?(dhs) Num 23:26 καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Βαλααμ εἶπεν τῷ Βαλακ οὐκ ἐλάλησά σοι λέγων τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐὰν λαλήσῃ ὁ θεός τοῦτο ποιήσω (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:27 ============ Num 23:27 Then Balak said to Balaam, "Please come, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will be agreeable with God that you curse them for me from there." (nasb) Num 23:27 Then Balak said to Balaam, "Please come, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there." (nkjv) Num 23:27 Balak sprach zu ihm: Komm doch, ich will dich an einen Ort führen, ob's vielleicht Gott gefalle, daß du daselbst mir sie verfluchst.(dhs) Num 23:27 καὶ εἶπεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ δεῦρο παραλάβω σε εἰς τόπον ἄλλον εἰ ἀρέσει τῷ θεῷ καὶ καταρᾶσαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκεῖθεν (lxx) ======= Numbers 23:28 ============ Num 23:28 So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor which overlooks the wasteland.
