(nasb) Ezr 10:2 And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, spoke up and said to Ezra, "We have trespassed against our God, and have taken pagan wives from the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope in Israel in spite of this. (nkjv) Ezr 10:2 Und Sechanja, der Sohn Jehiels, aus den Kindern Elam, antwortete und sprach zu Esra: Wohlan, wir haben uns an unserm Gott vergriffen, daß wir fremde Weiber aus den Völkern des Landes genommen haben. Nun, es ist noch Hoffnung für Israel über dem.(dhs) Ezr 10:2 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Σεχενιας υἱὸς Ιιηλ ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ηλαμ καὶ εἶπεν τῷ Εσδρα ἡμεῖς ἠσυνθετήσαμεν τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν καὶ ἐκαθίσαμεν γυναῖκας ἀλλοτρίας ἀπὸ λαῶν τῆς γῆς καὶ νῦν ἔστιν ὑπομονὴ τῷ Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τούτῳ (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:3 ============ Ezr 10:3 So now let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. (nkjv) Ezr 10:3 So laßt uns einen Bund machen mit unserm Gott, daß wir alle Weiber und die von ihnen geboren sind, hinaustun nach dem Rat des HERRN und derer, die die Gebote unsers Gottes fürchten, daß man tue nach dem Gesetz.(dhs) Ezr 10:3 καὶ νῦν διαθώμεθα διαθήκην τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ἐκβαλεῖν πάσας τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ γενόμενα ἐξ αὐτῶν ὡς ἂν βούλῃ ἀνάστηθι καὶ φοβέρισον αὐτοὺς ἐν ἐντολαῖς θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ ὡς ὁ νόμος γενηθήτω (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:4 ============ Ezr 10:4 Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act." (nasb) Ezr 10:4 Arise, for this matter is your responsibility. We also are with you. Sei getrost und tue es!(dhs) Ezr 10:4 ἀνάστα ὅτι ἐπὶ σὲ τὸ ῥῆμα καὶ ἡμεῖς μετὰ σοῦ κραταιοῦ καὶ ποίησον (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:5 ============ Ezr 10:5 Then Ezra rose and made the leading priests, the Levites and all Israel, take oath that they would do according to this proposal; so they took the oath. (nasb) Ezr 10:5 Then Ezra arose, and made the leaders of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel swear an oath that they would do according to this word. So they swore an oath. (nkjv) Ezr 10:5 Da stand Esra auf und nahm einen Eid von den Obersten der Priester und Leviten und des ganzen Israels, daß sie nach diesem Wort tun sollten. Und sie schwuren.(dhs) Ezr 10:5 καὶ ἀνέστη Εσδρας καὶ ὥρκισεν τοὺς ἄρχοντας τοὺς ἱερεῖς καὶ Λευίτας καὶ πάντα Ισραηλ τοῦ ποιῆσαι κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο καὶ ὤμοσαν (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:6 ============ Ezr 10:6 Then Ezra rose from before the house of God and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib. Although he went there, he did not eat bread nor drink water, for he was mourning over the unfaithfulness of the exiles. (nasb) Ezr 10:6 Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib; and when he came there, he ate no bread and drank no water, for he mourned because of the guilt of those from the captivity. (nkjv) Ezr 10:6 Und Esra stand auf vor dem Hause Gottes und ging in die Kammer Johanans, des Sohnes Eljasibs. Und da er dahin kam, aß er kein Brot und trank kein Wasser; denn er trug Leid um die Vergreifung derer, die gefangen gewesen waren.(dhs) Ezr 10:6 καὶ ἀνέστη Εσδρας ἀπὸ προσώπου οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐπορεύθη εἰς γαζοφυλάκιον Ιωαναν υἱοῦ Ελισουβ καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἐκεῖ ἄρτον οὐκ ἔφαγεν καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιεν ὅτι ἐπένθει ἐπὶ τῇ ἀσυνθεσίᾳ τῆς ἀποικίας (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:7 ============ Ezr 10:7 They made a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the exiles, that they should assemble at Jerusalem, (nasb) Ezr 10:7 And they issued a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the descendants of the captivity, that they must gather at Jerusalem, (nkjv) Ezr 10:7 Und sie ließen ausrufen durch Juda und Jerusalem zu allen, die gefangen gewesen waren, daß sie sich gen Jerusalem versammelten.(dhs) Ezr 10:7 καὶ παρήνεγκαν φωνὴν ἐν Ιουδα καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ πᾶσιν τοῖς υἱοῖς τῆς ἀποικίας τοῦ συναθροισθῆναι εἰς Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:8 ============ Ezr 10:8 and that whoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the leaders and the elders, all his possessions should be forfeited and he himself excluded from the assembly of the exiles. (nkjv) Ezr 10:10 Und Esra, der Priester, stand auf und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr habt euch vergriffen, daß ihr fremde Weiber genommen habt, daß ihr der Schuld Israels noch mehr machtet.(dhs) Ezr 10:10 καὶ ἀνέστη Εσδρας ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμεῖς ἠσυνθετήκατε καὶ ἐκαθίσατε γυναῖκας ἀλλοτρίας τοῦ προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ πλημμέλειαν Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:11 ============ Ezr 10:11 Now therefore, make confession to the Lord God of your fathers and do His will; and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives." As you have said, so it is our duty to do. (nasb) Ezr 10:12 Then all the assembly answered and said with a loud voice, "Yes! As you have said, so we must do. (nkjv) Ezr 10:12 Da antwortete die ganze Gemeinde und sprach mit lauter Stimme: Es geschehe, wie du uns gesagt hast.(dhs) Ezr 10:12 καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν πᾶσα ἡ ἐκκλησία καὶ εἶπαν μέγα τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμά σου ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς ποιῆσαι (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:13 ============ Ezr 10:13 But there are many people; it is the rainy season and we are not able to stand in the open. Nor can the task be done in one or two days, for we have transgressed greatly in this matter. (nasb) Ezr 10:13 But there are many people; it is the season for heavy rain, and we are not able to stand outside. Nor is this the work of one or two days, for there are many of us who have transgressed in this matter. (nkjv) Ezr 10:13 Aber des Volks ist viel, und Regenzeit, und man kann nicht draußen stehen; so ist's auch nicht eines oder zweier Tage Werk, denn wir haben viel gemacht solcher Übertretungen.(dhs) Ezr 10:13 ἀλλὰ ὁ λαὸς πολύς καὶ ὁ καιρὸς χειμερινός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν δύναμις στῆναι ἔξω καὶ τὸ ἔργον οὐκ εἰς ἡμέραν μίαν καὶ οὐκ εἰς δύο ὅτι ἐπληθύναμεν τοῦ ἀδικῆσαι ἐν τῷ ῥήματι τούτῳ (lxx) ======= Ezra 10:14 ============ Ezr 10:14 Let our leaders represent the whole assembly and let all those in our cities who have married foreign wives come at appointed times, together with the elders and judges of each city, until the fierce anger of our God on account of this matter is turned away from us."
