They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice; There is no one who does good. (nasb) Psa 53:1 To the Chief Musician. Set to 'Mahalath.' A Contemplation of David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good. (nkjv) Psa 53:1 (Eine Unterweisung Davids, im Chor umeinander vorzusingen.) Die Toren sprechen in ihrem Herzen: Es ist kein Gott. Sie taugen nichts und sind ein Greuel geworden in ihrem bösen Wesen; das ist keiner, der Gutes tut.(dhs) Psa 53:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ὑπὲρ μαελεθ συνέσεως τῷ Δαυιδ (lxx) ======= Psalm 53:2 ============ Psa 53:2 God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there is anyone who understands, Who seeks after God. (nasb) Psa 53:2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. (nkjv) Psa 53:2 Gott schaut vom Himmel auf der Menschen Kinder, daß er sehe, ob jemand klug sei, der nach Gott frage.(dhs) Psa 53:2 εἶπεν ἄφρων ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν θεός διεφθάρησαν καὶ ἐβδελύχθησαν ἐν ἀνομίαις οὐκ ἔστιν ποιῶν ἀγαθόν (lxx) ======= Psalm 53:3 ============ Psa 53:3 Every one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one. (nasb) Psa 53:3 Every one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. (nkjv) Psa 53:3 Aber sie sind alle abgefallen und allesamt untüchtig; da ist keiner, der Gutes tue, auch nicht einer.(dhs) Psa 53:3 ὁ θεὸς ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ διέκυψεν ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων τοῦ ἰδεῖν εἰ ἔστιν συνίων ἢ ἐκζητῶν τὸν θεόν (lxx) ======= Psalm 53:4 ============ Psa 53:4 Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge, Who eat up My people as though they ate bread And have not called upon God? (nasb) Psa 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God? (nkjv) Psa 53:4 Wollen denn die Übeltäter sich nicht sagen lassen, die mein Volk fressen, daß sie sich nähren? Gott rufen sie nicht an.(dhs) Psa 53:4 πάντες ἐξέκλιναν ἅμα ἠχρεώθησαν οὐκ ἔστιν ποιῶν ἀγαθόν οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός (lxx) ======= Psalm 53:5 ============ Psa 53:5 There they were in great fear where no fear had been; For God scattered the bones of him who encamped against you; You put them to shame, because God had rejected them. (nasb) Psa 53:5 There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them. (nkjv) Psa 53:5 Da fürchten sie sich aber, wo nichts zu fürchten ist; denn Gott zerstreut die Gebeine derer, die dich belagern. Du machst sie zu Schanden; denn Gott verschmäht sie.(dhs) Psa 53:5 οὐχὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν οἱ ἔσθοντες τὸν λαόν μου βρώσει ἄρτου τὸν θεὸν οὐκ ἐπεκαλέσαντο (lxx) ======= Psalm 53:6 ============ Psa 53:6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores His captive people, Let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (nasb) Psa 53:6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad. (nkjv) Psa 53:6 Ach daß Hilfe aus Zion über Israel käme und Gott sein gefangen Volk erlösete! So würde sich Jakob freuen und Israel fröhlich sein.(dhs) Psa 53:6 τίς δώσει ἐκ Σιων τὸ σωτήριον τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐπιστρέψαι κύριον τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀγαλλιάσεται Ιακωβ καὶ εὐφρανθήσεται Ισραηλ (lxx) top of the page
