Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 38:1 ============ Isa 38:1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'" (nasb) Isa 38:1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.' " (nkjv) Isa 38:1 Zu der Zeit ward Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Bestelle dein Haus; denn du wirst sterben und nicht lebendig bleiben!(dhs) Isa 38:1 ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἐμαλακίσθη Εζεκιας ἕως θανάτου καὶ ἦλθεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Ησαιας υἱὸς Αμως ὁ προφήτης καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει κύριος τάξαι περὶ τοῦ οἴκου σου ἀποθνῄσκεις γὰρ σὺ καὶ οὐ ζήσῃ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:2 ============ Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, (nasb) Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, (nkjv) Isa 38:2 Da wandte Hiskia sein Angesicht zur Wand und betete zum HERRN(dhs) Isa 38:2 καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Εζεκιας τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸν τοῖχον καὶ προσηύξατο πρὸς κύριον (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:3 ============ Isa 38:3 and said, "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. (nasb) Isa 38:3 and said, "Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. (nkjv) Isa 38:3 und sprach: Gedenke doch, HERR, wie ich vor dir gewandelt habe in der Wahrheit, mit vollkommenem Herzen, und habe getan, was dir gefallen hat. Und Hiskia weinte sehr.(dhs) Isa 38:3 λέγων μνήσθητι κύριε ὡς ἐπορεύθην ἐνώπιόν σου μετὰ ἀληθείας ἐν καρδίᾳ ἀληθινῇ καὶ τὰ ἀρεστὰ ἐνώπιόν σου ἐποίησα καὶ ἔκλαυσεν Εζεκιας κλαυθμῷ μεγάλῳ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:4 ============ Isa 38:4 Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, (nasb) Isa 38:4 And the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, (nkjv) Isa 38:4 Da geschah das Wort des HERRN zu Jesaja und sprach:(dhs) Isa 38:4 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ησαιαν λέγων (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:5 ============ Isa 38:5 "Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life. (nasb) Isa 38:5 "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. (nkjv) Isa 38:5 Gehe hin und sage Hiskia: So spricht der HERR, der Gott deines Vaters David: Ich habe dein Gebet gehört und deine Tränen gesehen. Siehe, ich will deinen Tagen noch fünfzehn Jahre zulegen(dhs) Isa 38:5 πορεύθητι καὶ εἰπὸν Εζεκια τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Δαυιδ τοῦ πατρός σου ἤκουσα τῆς φωνῆς τῆς προσευχῆς σου καὶ εἶδον τὰ δάκρυά σου ἰδοὺ προστίθημι πρὸς τὸν χρόνον σου ἔτη δέκα πέντε (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:6 ============ Isa 38:6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city."' (nasb) Isa 38:6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city." ' (nkjv) Isa 38:6 und will dich samt dieser Stadt erretten von der Hand des Königs von Assyrien; denn ich will diese Stadt wohl verteidigen.(dhs) Isa 38:6 καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς βασιλέως Ἀσσυρίων σώσω σε καὶ ὑπὲρ τῆς πόλεως ταύτης ὑπερασπιῶ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:7 ============ Isa 38:7 "This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that He has spoken: (nasb) Isa 38:7 And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken: (nkjv) Isa 38:7 Und habe dir das zum Zeichen von dem HERRN, daß der HERR solches tun wird, was er geredet hat:(dhs) Isa 38:7 τοῦτο δέ σοι τὸ σημεῖον παρὰ κυρίου ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ποιήσει τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:8 ============ Isa 38:8 Behold, I will cause the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, to go back ten steps." So the sun's shadow went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down. (nasb) Isa 38:8 Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward." So the sun returned ten degrees on the dial by which it had gone down. (nkjv) Isa 38:8 Siehe ich will den Schatten am Sonnenzeiger des Ahas zehn Stufen zurückziehen, über welche er gelaufen ist. Und die Sonne lief zehn Stufen zurück am Zeiger, über welche sie gelaufen war.(dhs) Isa 38:8 τὴν σκιὰν τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν οὓς κατέβη ὁ ἥλιος τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμοὺς τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ πατρός σου ἀποστρέψω τὸν ἥλιον τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμούς καὶ ἀνέβη ὁ ἥλιος τοὺς δέκα ἀναβαθμούς οὓς κατέβη ἡ σκιά (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:9 ============ Isa 38:9 A writing of Hezekiah king of Judah after his illness and recovery: (nasb) Isa 38:9 This is the writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick and had recovered from his sickness: (nkjv) Isa 38:9 Dies ist die Schrift Hiskias, des Königs in Juda, da er krank gewesen und von der Krankheit geheilt worden war.(dhs) Isa 38:9 προσευχὴ Εζεκιου βασιλέως τῆς Ιουδαίας ἡνίκα ἐμαλακίσθη καὶ ἀνέστη ἐκ τῆς μαλακίας αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:10 ============ Isa 38:10 I said, "In the middle of my life I am to enter the gates of Sheol; I am to be deprived of the rest of my years." (nasb) Isa 38:10 I said, "In the prime of my life I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years." (nkjv) Isa 38:10 Ich sprach: Nun muß ich zu der Höllen Pforten fahren in der Mitte meines Lebens, da ich gedachte, noch länger zu leben.(dhs) Isa 38:10 ἐγὼ εἶπα ἐν τῷ ὕψει τῶν ἡμερῶν μου ἐν πύλαις ᾅδου καταλείψω τὰ ἔτη τὰ ἐπίλοιπα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:11 ============ Isa 38:11 I said, "I will not see the Lord, The Lord in the land of the living; I will look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world. (nasb) Isa 38:11 I said, "I shall not see Yah, The Lord in the land of the living; I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world. (nkjv) Isa 38:11 Ich sprach: Nun werde ich nicht mehr sehen den HERRN, ja, den HERRN im Lande der Lebendigen; nun werde ich nicht mehr schauen die Menschen bei denen, die ihre Zeit leben.(dhs) Isa 38:11 εἶπα οὐκέτι μὴ ἴδω τὸ σωτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς οὐκέτι μὴ ἴδω ἄνθρωπον (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:12 ============ Isa 38:12 "Like a shepherd's tent my dwelling is pulled up and removed from me; As a weaver I rolled up my life. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me. (nasb) Isa 38:12 My life span is gone, Taken from me like a shepherd's tent; I have cut off my life like a weaver. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me. (nkjv) Isa 38:12 Meine Zeit ist dahin und von mir weggetan wie eines Hirten Hütte. Ich reiße mein Leben ab wie ein Weber; er bricht mich ab wie einen dünnen Faden; du machst's mit mir ein Ende den Tag vor Abend.(dhs) Isa 38:12 ἐκ τῆς συγγενείας μου κατέλιπον τὸ λοιπὸν τῆς ζωῆς μου ἐξῆλθεν καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ὥσπερ ὁ καταλύων σκηνὴν πήξας τὸ πνεῦμά μου παρ᾽ ἐμοὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἱστὸς ἐρίθου ἐγγιζούσης ἐκτεμεῖν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ παρεδόθην (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:13 ============ Isa 38:13 "I composed my soul until morning. Like a lion--so He breaks all my bones, From day until night You make an end of me. (nasb) Isa 38:13 I have considered until morning-- Like a lion, So He breaks all my bones; From day until night You make an end of me. (nkjv) Isa 38:13 Ich dachte: Möchte ich bis morgen Leben! Aber er zerbrach mir alle meine Gebeine wie ein Löwe; denn du machst es mit mir aus den Tag vor Abend.(dhs) Isa 38:13 ἕως πρωὶ ὡς λέοντι οὕτως τὰ ὀστᾶ μου συνέτριψεν ἀπὸ γὰρ τῆς ἡμέρας ἕως τῆς νυκτὸς παρεδόθην (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:14 ============ Isa 38:14 "Like a swallow, like a crane, so I twitter; I moan like a dove; My eyes look wistfully to the heights; O Lord, I am oppressed, be my security. (nasb) Isa 38:14 Like a crane or a swallow, so I chattered; I mourned like a dove; My eyes fail from looking upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; Undertake for me! (nkjv) Isa 38:14 Ich winselte wie ein Kranich und wie eine Schwalbe und girrte wie eine Taube; meine Augen wollten mir brechen: HERR, ich leide Not; lindere mir's!(dhs) Isa 38:14 ὡς χελιδών οὕτως φωνήσω καὶ ὡς περιστερά οὕτως μελετήσω ἐξέλιπον γάρ μου οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ τοῦ βλέπειν εἰς τὸ ὕψος τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πρὸς τὸν κύριον ὃς ἐξείλατό με (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:15 ============ Isa 38:15 "What shall I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will wander about all my years because of the bitterness of my soul. (nasb) Isa 38:15 "What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. (nkjv) Isa 38:15 Was soll ich reden? Er hat mir's zugesagt und hat's auch getan! Ich werde in Demut wandeln all meine Lebtage nach solcher Betrübnis meiner Seele.(dhs) Isa 38:15 καὶ ἀφείλατό μου τὴν ὀδύνην τῆς ψυχῆς (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:16 ============ Isa 38:16 "O Lord, by these things men live, And in all these is the life of my spirit; O restore me to health and let me live! (nasb) Isa 38:16 O Lord, by these things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. (nkjv) Isa 38:17 Siehe, um Trost war mir sehr bange. Du aber hast dich meiner Seele herzlich angenommen, daß sie nicht verdürbe; denn du wirfst alle meine Sünden hinter dich zurück.(dhs) Isa 38:17 εἵλου γάρ μου τὴν ψυχήν ἵνα μὴ ἀπόληται καὶ ἀπέρριψας ὀπίσω μου πάσας τὰς ἁμαρτίας μου (lxx) ======= Isaiah 38:18 ============ Isa 38:18 "For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.
