Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 3:1 ============ Jer 3:1 God says, "If a husband divorces his wife And she goes from him And belongs to another man, Will he still return to her? Will not that land be completely polluted? But you are a harlot with many lovers; Yet you turn to Me," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 3:1 "They say, 'If a man divorces his wife, And she goes from him And becomes another man's, May he return to her again?' Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 3:1 Und er spricht: Wenn sich ein Mann von seinem Weibe scheidet, und sie zieht von ihm und nimmt einen andern Mann, darf er sie auch wieder annehmen? Ist's nicht also, daß das Land verunreinigt würde? Du aber hast mit vielen Buhlen gehurt; doch komm wieder zu mir; spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 3:1 ἐὰν ἐξαποστείλῃ ἀνὴρ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπέλθῃ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ γένηται ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ μὴ ἀνακάμπτουσα ἀνακάμψει πρὸς αὐτὸν ἔτι οὐ μιαινομένη μιανθήσεται ἡ γυνὴ ἐκείνη καὶ σὺ ἐξεπόρνευσας ἐν ποιμέσιν πολλοῖς καὶ ἀνέκαμπτες πρός με λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:2 ============ Jer 3:2 "Lift up your eyes to the bare heights and see; Where have you not been violated? By the roads you have sat for them Like an Arab in the desert, And you have polluted a land With your harlotry and with your wickedness. (nasb) Jer 3:2 "Lift up your eyes to the desolate heights and see: Where have you not lain with men? By the road you have sat for them Like an Arabian in the wilderness; And you have polluted the land With your harlotries and your wickedness. (nkjv) Jer 3:2 Hebe deine Augen auf zu den Höhen und siehe, wie du allenthalben Hurerei treibst. An den Straßen sitzest du und lauerst auf sie wie ein Araber in der Wüste und verunreinigst das Land mit deiner Hurerei und Bosheit.(dhs) Jer 3:2 ἆρον εἰς εὐθεῖαν τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἰδέ ποῦ οὐχὶ ἐξεφύρθης ἐπὶ ταῖς ὁδοῖς ἐκάθισας αὐτοῖς ὡσεὶ κορώνη ἐρημουμένη καὶ ἐμίανας τὴν γῆν ἐν ταῖς πορνείαις σου καὶ ἐν ταῖς κακίαις σου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:3 ============ Jer 3:3 "Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no spring rain. Yet you had a harlot's forehead; You refused to be ashamed. (nasb) Jer 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot's forehead; You refuse to be ashamed. (nkjv) Jer 3:3 Darum muß auch der Frühregen ausbleiben und kein Spätregen kommen. Du hast eine Hurenstirn, du willst dich nicht mehr schämen(dhs) Jer 3:3 καὶ ἔσχες ποιμένας πολλοὺς εἰς πρόσκομμα σεαυτῇ ὄψις πόρνης ἐγένετό σοι ἀπηναισχύντησας πρὸς πάντας (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:4 ============ Jer 3:4 "Have you not just now called to Me, 'My Father, You are the friend of my youth? (nasb) Jer 3:4 Will you not from this time cry to Me, 'My father, You are the guide of my youth? (nkjv) Jer 3:4 und schreist gleichwohl zu mir: "Lieber Vater, du Meister meiner Jugend!(dhs) Jer 3:4 οὐχ ὡς οἶκόν με ἐκάλεσας καὶ πατέρα καὶ ἀρχηγὸν τῆς παρθενίας σου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:5 ============ Jer 3:5 'Will He be angry forever? Will He be indignant to the end?' Behold, you have spoken And have done evil things, And you have had your way." (nasb) Jer 3:5 Will He remain angry forever? Will He keep it to the end?' Behold, you have spoken and done evil things, As you were able." (nkjv) Jer 3:5 willst du denn ewiglich zürnen und nicht vom Grimm lassen?" Siehe, so redest du, und tust Böses und lässest dir nicht steuern.(dhs) Jer 3:5 μὴ διαμενεῖ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἢ διαφυλαχθήσεται εἰς νεῖκος ἰδοὺ ἐλάλησας καὶ ἐποίησας τὰ πονηρὰ ταῦτα καὶ ἠδυνάσθης (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:6 ============ Jer 3:6 Then the Lord said to me in the days of Josiah the king, "Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and she was a harlot there. (nasb) Jer 3:6 The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king: "Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there played the harlot. (nkjv) Jer 3:6 Und der HERR sprach zu mir zu der Zeit des Königs Josia: Hast du auch gesehen, was Israel, die Abtrünnige tat? Sie ging hin auf alle hohen Berge und unter alle grünen Bäume und trieb daselbst Hurerei.(dhs) Jer 3:6 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Ιωσια τοῦ βασιλέως εἶδες ἃ ἐποίησέν μοι ἡ κατοικία τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐπὶ πᾶν ὄρος ὑψηλὸν καὶ ὑποκάτω παντὸς ξύλου ἀλσώδους καὶ ἐπόρνευσαν ἐκεῖ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:7 ============ Jer 3:7 I thought, 'After she has done all these things she will return to Me'; but she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it. (nasb) Jer 3:7 And I said, after she had done all these things, 'Return to Me.' But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. (nkjv) Jer 3:7 Und ich sprach, da sie solches alles getan hatte: Bekehre dich zu mir. Aber sie bekehrte sich nicht. Und obwohl ihre Schwester Juda, die Verstockte, gesehen hat,(dhs) Jer 3:7 καὶ εἶπα μετὰ τὸ πορνεῦσαι αὐτὴν ταῦτα πάντα πρός με ἀνάστρεψον καὶ οὐκ ἀνέστρεψεν καὶ εἶδεν τὴν ἀσυνθεσίαν αὐτῆς ἡ ἀσύνθετος Ιουδα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:8 ============ Jer 3:8 And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also. (nasb) Jer 3:8 Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also. (nkjv) Jer 3:8 wie ich der Abtrünnigen Israel Ehebruch gestraft und sie verlassen und ihr einen Scheidebrief gegeben habe: dennoch fürchtet sich ihre Schwester, die verstockte Juda, nicht, sondern geht hin und treibt auch Hurerei.(dhs) Jer 3:8 καὶ εἶδον διότι περὶ πάντων ὧν κατελήμφθη ἐν οἷς ἐμοιχᾶτο ἡ κατοικία τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐξαπέστειλα αὐτὴν καὶ ἔδωκα αὐτῇ βιβλίον ἀποστασίου εἰς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς καὶ οὐκ ἐφοβήθη ἡ ἀσύνθετος Ιουδα καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἐπόρνευσεν καὶ αὐτή (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:9 ============ Jer 3:9 Because of the lightness of her harlotry, she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and trees. (nasb) Jer 3:9 So it came to pass, through her casual harlotry, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees. (nkjv) Jer 3:9 Und von dem Geschrei ihrer Hurerei ist das Land verunreinigt; denn sie treibt Ehebruch mit Stein und Holz.(dhs) Jer 3:9 καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς οὐθὲν ἡ πορνεία αὐτῆς καὶ ἐμοίχευσεν τὸ ξύλον καὶ τὸν λίθον (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:10 ============ Jer 3:10 Yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with all her heart, but rather in deception," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 3:10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 3:10 Und in diesem allem bekehrt sich die verstockte Juda, ihre Schwester, nicht zu mir von ganzem Herzen, sondern heuchelt also, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 3:10 καὶ ἐν πᾶσιν τούτοις οὐκ ἐπεστράφη πρός με ἡ ἀσύνθετος Ιουδα ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας αὐτῆς ἀλλ᾽ ἐπὶ ψεύδει (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:11 ============ Jer 3:11 And the Lord said to me, "Faithless Israel has proved herself more righteous than treacherous Judah. (nasb) Jer 3:11 Then the Lord said to me, "Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah. (nkjv) Jer 3:11 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Die abtrünnige Israel ist fromm gegen die verstockte Juda.(dhs) Jer 3:11 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἐδικαίωσεν τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τῆς ἀσυνθέτου Ιουδα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:12 ============ Jer 3:12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say, 'Return, faithless Israel, 'declares the Lord; 'I will not look upon you in anger. For I am gracious, 'declares the Lord; 'I will not be angry forever. (nasb) Jer 3:12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: 'Return, backsliding Israel,' says the Lord; 'I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,' says the Lord; ' I will not remain angry forever. (nkjv) Jer 3:12 Gehe hin und rufe diese Worte gegen die Mitternacht und sprich: Kehre wieder, du abtrünnige Israel, spricht der HERR, so will ich mein Antlitz nicht gegen euch verstellen. Denn ich bin barmherzig, spricht der HERR, und ich will nicht ewiglich zürnen.(dhs) Jer 3:12 πορεύου καὶ ἀνάγνωθι τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς βορρᾶν καὶ ἐρεῖς ἐπιστράφητι πρός με ἡ κατοικία τοῦ Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος καὶ οὐ στηριῶ τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ὅτι ἐλεήμων ἐγώ εἰμι λέγει κύριος καὶ οὐ μηνιῶ ὑμῖν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:13 ============ Jer 3:13 'Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against the Lord your God And have scattered your favors to the strangers under every green tree, And you have not obeyed My voice, 'declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 3:13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against the Lord your God, And have scattered your charms To alien deities under every green tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,' says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 3:13 Allein erkenne deine Missetat, daß du wider den HERRN, deinen Gott, gesündigt hast und bist hin und wieder gelaufen zu den fremden Göttern unter allen grünen Bäumen und habt meiner Stimme nicht gehorcht, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 3:13 πλὴν γνῶθι τὴν ἀδικίαν σου ὅτι εἰς κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἠσέβησας καὶ διέχεας τὰς ὁδούς σου εἰς ἀλλοτρίους ὑποκάτω παντὸς ξύλου ἀλσώδους τῆς δὲ φωνῆς μου οὐχ ὑπήκουσας λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:14 ============ Jer 3:14 'Return, O faithless sons, 'declares the Lord; 'For I am a master to you, And I will take you one from a city and two from a family, And I will bring you to Zion.' (nasb) Jer 3:14 "Return, O backsliding children," says the Lord; "for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. (nkjv) Jer 3:14 Bekehret euch nun ihr abtrünnigen Kinder, spricht der HERR; denn ich will euch mir vertrauen und will euch holen, einen aus einer Stadt und zwei aus einem Geschlecht, und will euch bringen gen Zion(dhs) Jer 3:14 ἐπιστράφητε υἱοὶ ἀφεστηκότες λέγει κύριος διότι ἐγὼ κατακυριεύσω ὑμῶν καὶ λήμψομαι ὑμᾶς ἕνα ἐκ πόλεως καὶ δύο ἐκ πατριᾶς καὶ εἰσάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς Σιων (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:15 ============ Jer 3:15 "Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding. (nkjv) Jer 3:15 und will euch Hirten geben nach meinem Herzen, die euch weiden sollen mit Lehre und Weisheit.(dhs) Jer 3:15 καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν ποιμένας κατὰ τὴν καρδίαν μου καὶ ποιμανοῦσιν ὑμᾶς ποιμαίνοντες μετ᾽ ἐπιστήμης (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:16 ============ Jer 3:16 It shall be in those days when you are multiplied and increased in the land," declares the Lord, "they will no longer say, 'The ark of the covenant of the Lord.'And it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor will they miss it, nor will it be made again. (nasb) Jer 3:16 Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days," says the Lord, "that they will say no more, 'The ark of the covenant of the Lord.' It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore. (nkjv) Jer 3:16 Und es soll geschehen, wenn ihr gewachsen seid und euer viel geworden sind im Lande, so soll man, spricht der HERR, zur selben Zeit nicht mehr sagen von der Bundeslade des HERRN, auch ihrer nicht mehr gedenken noch davon predigen noch nach ihr fragen, und sie wird nicht wieder gemacht werden;(dhs) Jer 3:16 καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν πληθυνθῆτε καὶ αὐξηθῆτε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις λέγει κύριος οὐκ ἐροῦσιν ἔτι κιβωτὸς διαθήκης ἁγίου Ισραηλ οὐκ ἀναβήσεται ἐπὶ καρδίαν οὐκ ὀνομασθήσεται οὐδὲ ἐπισκεφθήσεται καὶ οὐ ποιηθήσεται ἔτι (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:17 ============ Jer 3:17 At that time they will call Jerusalem 'The Throne of the Lord, 'and all the nations will be gathered to it, to Jerusalem, for the name of the Lord; nor will they walk anymore after the stubbornness of their evil heart. (nasb) Jer 3:17 At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts. (nkjv) Jer 3:17 sondern zur selben Zeit wird man Jerusalem heißen "Des HERRN Thron", und es werden sich dahin sammeln alle Heiden um des Namens des HERRN willen zu Jerusalem und werden nicht mehr wandeln nach den Gedanken ihres bösen Herzens.(dhs) Jer 3:17 ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ καλέσουσιν τὴν Ιερουσαλημ θρόνος κυρίου καὶ συναχθήσονται εἰς αὐτὴν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη καὶ οὐ πορεύσονται ἔτι ὀπίσω τῶν ἐνθυμημάτων τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:18 ============ Jer 3:18 In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together from the land of the north to the land that I gave your fathers as an inheritance. (nasb) Jer 3:18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers. (nkjv) Jer 3:18 Zu der Zeit wird das Haus Juda gehen zum Hause Israel, und sie werden miteinander kommen von Mitternacht in das Land, das ich euren Vätern zum Erbe gegeben habe.(dhs) Jer 3:18 ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις συνελεύσονται οἶκος Ιουδα ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἀπὸ γῆς βορρᾶ καὶ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν χωρῶν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἣν κατεκληρονόμησα τοὺς πατέρας αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:19 ============ Jer 3:19 "Then I said, 'How I would set you among My sons And give you a pleasant land, The most beautiful inheritance of the nations!'And I said, 'You shall call Me, My Father, And not turn away from following Me.' (nasb) Jer 3:19 "But I said: 'How can I put you among the children And give you a pleasant land, A beautiful heritage of the hosts of nations?' "And I said: 'You shall call Me, "My Father," And not turn away from Me.' (nkjv) Jer 3:19 Und ich sagte dir zu: Wie will ich dir so viel Kinder geben und das liebe Land, das allerschönste Erbe unter den Völkern! Und ich sagte dir zu: Du wirst alsdann mich nennen "Lieber Vater!" und nicht von mir weichen.(dhs) Jer 3:19 καὶ ἐγὼ εἶπα γένοιτο κύριε ὅτι τάξω σε εἰς τέκνα καὶ δώσω σοι γῆν ἐκλεκτὴν κληρονομίαν θεοῦ παντοκράτορος ἐθνῶν καὶ εἶπα πατέρα καλέσετέ με καὶ ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ οὐκ ἀποστραφήσεσθε (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:20 ============ Jer 3:20 "Surely, as a woman treacherously departs from her lover, So you have dealt treacherously with Me, O house of Israel," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 3:20 Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, So have you dealt treacherously with Me, O house of Israel," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 3:20 Aber das Haus Israel achtete mich nicht, gleichwie ein Weib ihren Buhlen nicht mehr achtet, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 3:20 πλὴν ὡς ἀθετεῖ γυνὴ εἰς τὸν συνόντα αὐτῇ οὕτως ἠθέτησεν εἰς ἐμὲ οἶκος Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:21 ============ Jer 3:21 A voice is heard on the bare heights, The weeping and the supplications of the sons of Israel; Because they have perverted their way, They have forgotten the Lord their God. (nasb) Jer 3:21 A voice was heard on the desolate heights, Weeping and supplications of the children of Israel. For they have perverted their way; They have forgotten the Lord their God. (nkjv) Jer 3:21 Darum hört man ein klägliches Heulen und Weinen der Kinder Israel auf den Höhen, dafür daß sie übel getan und des HERRN, ihres Gottes, vergessen haben.(dhs) Jer 3:21 φωνὴ ἐκ χειλέων ἠκούσθη κλαυθμοῦ καὶ δεήσεως υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὅτι ἠδίκησαν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν ἐπελάθοντο θεοῦ ἁγίου αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:22 ============ Jer 3:22 "Return, O faithless sons, I will heal your faithlessness." "Behold, we come to You; For You are the Lord our God. (nasb) Jer 3:22 "Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings." "Indeed we do come to You, For You are the Lord our God. (nkjv) Jer 3:22 So kehret nun wieder, ihr abtrünnigen Kinder, so will ich euch heilen von eurem Ungehorsam. Siehe wir kommen zu dir; denn du bist der HERR, unser Gott.(dhs) Jer 3:22 ἐπιστράφητε υἱοὶ ἐπιστρέφοντες καὶ ἰάσομαι τὰ συντρίμματα ὑμῶν ἰδοὺ δοῦλοι ἡμεῖς ἐσόμεθά σοι ὅτι σὺ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν εἶ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:23 ============ Jer 3:23 "Surely, the hills are a deception, A tumult on the mountains. Surely in the Lord our God Is the salvation of Israel. (nasb) Jer 3:23 Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, And from the multitude of mountains; Truly, in the Lord our God Is the salvation of Israel. (nkjv) Jer 3:23 Wahrlich, es ist eitel Betrug mit Hügeln und mit allen Bergen. Wahrlich, es hat Israel keine Hilfe denn am HERRN, unserm Gott.(dhs) Jer 3:23 ὄντως εἰς ψεῦδος ἦσαν οἱ βουνοὶ καὶ ἡ δύναμις τῶν ὀρέων πλὴν διὰ κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἡ σωτηρία τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:24 ============ Jer 3:24 "But the shameful thing has consumed the labor of our fathers since our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. (nasb) Jer 3:24 For shame has devoured The labor of our fathers from our youth-- Their flocks and their herds, Their sons and their daughters. (nkjv) Jer 3:24 Und die Schande hat gefressen unsrer Väter Arbeit von unsrer Jugend auf samt ihren Schafen, Rindern, Söhnen und Töchtern.(dhs) Jer 3:24 ἡ δὲ αἰσχύνη κατανάλωσεν τοὺς μόχθους τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν ἀπὸ νεότητος ἡμῶν τὰ πρόβατα αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς μόσχους αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 3:25 ============ Jer 3:25 Let us lie down in our shame, and let our humiliation cover us; for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. And we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God." (nasb) Jer 3:25 We lie down in our shame, And our reproach covers us. (nkjv) Jer 3:25 Denn worauf wir uns verließen, das ist uns jetzt eitel Schande, und wessen wir uns trösteten, des müssen wir uns jetzt schämen.
