Now blow a trumpet in Tekoa And raise a signal over Beth-haccerem; For evil looks down from the north, And a great destruction. (nasb) Jer 6:1 "O you children of Benjamin, Gather yourselves to flee from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, And set up a signal-fire in Beth Haccerem; For disaster appears out of the north, And great destruction. (nkjv) Jer 6:1 Fliehet, ihr Kinder Benjamin, aus Jerusalem und blaset die Drommete auf der Warte Thekoa und werft auf ein Panier über der Warte Beth-Cherem! denn es geht daher ein Unglück von Mitternacht und ein großer Jammer.(dhs) Jer 6:1 ἐνισχύσατε υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν ἐκ μέσου τῆς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐν Θεκουε σημάνατε σάλπιγγι καὶ ὑπὲρ Βαιθαχαρμα ἄρατε σημεῖον ὅτι κακὰ ἐκκέκυφεν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ συντριβὴ μεγάλη γίνεται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:2 ============ Jer 6:2 "The comely and dainty one, the daughter of Zion, I will cut off. (nasb) Jer 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion To a lovely and delicate woman. (nkjv) Jer 6:2 Die Tochter Zion ist wie eine schöne und lustige Aue.(dhs) Jer 6:2 καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται τὸ ὕψος σου θύγατερ Σιων (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:3 ============ Jer 6:3 "Shepherds and their flocks will come to her, They will pitch their tents around her, They will pasture each in his place. (nasb) Jer 6:3 The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her. They shall pitch their tents against her all around. Each one shall pasture in his own place." (nkjv) Jer 6:3 Aber es werden die Hirten über sie kommen mit ihren Herden, die werden Gezelte rings um sie her aufschlagen und weiden ein jeglicher an seinem Ort und sprechen:(dhs) Jer 6:3 εἰς αὐτὴν ἥξουσιν ποιμένες καὶ τὰ ποίμνια αὐτῶν καὶ πήξουσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν σκηνὰς κύκλῳ καὶ ποιμανοῦσιν ἕκαστος τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:4 ============ Jer 6:4 "Prepare war against her; Arise, and let us attack at noon. Woe to us, for the day declines, For the shadows of the evening lengthen! (nasb) Jer 6:4 "Prepare war against her; Arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe to us, for the day goes away, For the shadows of the evening are lengthening. (nkjv) Jer 6:4 "Rüstet euch zum Krieg wider sie! Wohlauf, laßt uns hinaufziehen, weil es noch hoch Tag ist! Ei, es will Abend werden, und die Schatten werden groß!(dhs) Jer 6:4 παρασκευάσασθε ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν εἰς πόλεμον ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀναβῶμεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν μεσημβρίας οὐαὶ ἡμῖν ὅτι κέκλικεν ἡ ἡμέρα ὅτι ἐκλείπουσιν αἱ σκιαὶ τῆς ἑσπέρας (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:5 ============ Jer 6:5 "Arise, and let us attack by night And destroy her palaces!" (nasb) Jer 6:5 Arise, and let us go by night, And let us destroy her palaces." (nkjv) Jer 6:5 Wohlan, so laßt uns auf sein, und sollten wir bei Nacht hinaufziehen und ihre Paläste verderben!"(dhs) Jer 6:5 ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀναβῶμεν ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ καὶ διαφθείρωμεν τὰ θεμέλια αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:6 ============ Jer 6:6 For thus says the Lord of hosts, "Cut down her trees And cast up a siege against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, In whose midst there is only oppression. (nasb) Jer 6:6 For thus has the Lord of hosts said: "Cut down trees, And build a mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished. She is full of oppression in her midst. (nkjv) Jer 6:6 Denn also spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Fällt die Bäume und werft einen Wall auf wider Jerusalem; denn sie ist eine Stadt, die heimgesucht werden soll. Ist doch eitel Unrecht darin.(dhs) Jer 6:6 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἔκκοψον τὰ ξύλα αὐτῆς ἔκχεον ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ δύναμιν ὦ πόλις ψευδής ὅλη καταδυναστεία ἐν αὐτῇ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:7 ============ Jer 6:7 "As a well keeps its waters fresh, So she keeps fresh her wickedness. Violence and destruction are heard in her; Sickness and wounds are ever before Me. (nasb) Jer 6:7 As a fountain wells up with water, So she wells up with her wickedness. Violence and plundering are heard in her. Before Me continually are grief and wounds. (nkjv) Jer 6:7 Denn gleichwie ein Born sein Wasser quillt, also quillt auch ihre Bosheit. Ihr Frevel und Gewalt schreit über sie, und ihr Morden und Schlagen treiben sie täglich vor mir.(dhs) Jer 6:7 ὡς ψύχει λάκκος ὕδωρ οὕτως ψύχει κακία αὐτῆς ἀσέβεια καὶ ταλαιπωρία ἀκουσθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῆς διὰ παντός πόνῳ καὶ μάστιγι (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:8 ============ Jer 6:8 "Be warned, O Jerusalem, Or I shall be alienated from you, And make you a desolation, A land not inhabited." (nasb) Jer 6:8 Be instructed, O Jerusalem, Lest My soul depart from you; Lest I make you desolate, A land not inhabited." (nkjv) Jer 6:8 Bessere dich Jerusalem, ehe sich mein Herz von dir wendet und ich dich zum wüsten Lande mache, darin niemand wohne!(dhs) Jer 6:8 παιδευθήσῃ Ιερουσαλημ μὴ ἀποστῇ ἡ ψυχή μου ἀπὸ σοῦ μὴ ποιήσω σε ἄβατον γῆν ἥτις οὐ κατοικηθήσεται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:9 ============ Jer 6:9 Thus says the Lord of hosts, "They will thoroughly glean as the vine the remnant of Israel; Pass your hand again like a grape gatherer Over the branches." (nasb) Jer 6:9 Thus says the Lord of hosts: "They shall thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel; As a grape-gatherer, put your hand back into the branches." (nkjv) Jer 6:9 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Was übriggeblieben ist von Israel, das muß nachgelesen werden wie am Weinstock. Der Weinleser wird eins nach dem andern in die Butten werfen.(dhs) Jer 6:9 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος καλαμᾶσθε καλαμᾶσθε ὡς ἄμπελον τὰ κατάλοιπα τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπιστρέψατε ὡς ὁ τρυγῶν ἐπὶ τὸν κάρταλλον αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:10 ============ Jer 6:10 To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed And they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the Lord has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it. Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them; They have no delight in it. (nkjv) Jer 6:10 Ach, mit wem soll ich doch reden und zeugen? Daß doch jemand hören wollte! Aber ihre Ohren sind unbeschnitten; sie können's nicht hören. Siehe, sie halten des HERRN Wort für einen Spott und wollen es nicht.(dhs) Jer 6:10 πρὸς τίνα λαλήσω καὶ διαμαρτύρωμαι καὶ ἀκούσεται ἰδοὺ ἀπερίτμητα τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν καὶ οὐ δύνανται ἀκούειν ἰδοὺ τὸ ῥῆμα κυρίου ἐγένετο αὐτοῖς εἰς ὀνειδισμόν οὐ μὴ βουληθῶσιν αὐτὸ ἀκοῦσαι (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:11 ============ Jer 6:11 But I am full of the wrath of the Lord; I am weary with holding it in. "Pour it out on the children in the street And on the gathering of young men together; For both husband and wife shall be taken, The aged and the very old. (nasb) Jer 6:11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord. I am weary of holding it in. "I will pour it out on the children outside, And on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with him who is full of days. (nkjv) Jer 6:11 Darum bin ich von des HERRN Drohen so voll, daß ich's nicht lassen kann. Schütte es aus über die Kinder auf der Gasse und über die Mannschaft im Rat miteinander; denn es sollen beide, Mann und Weib, Alte und der Wohlbetagte, gefangen werden.(dhs) Jer 6:11 καὶ τὸν θυμόν μου ἔπλησα καὶ ἐπέσχον καὶ οὐ συνετέλεσα αὐτούς ἐκχεῶ ἐπὶ νήπια ἔξωθεν καὶ ἐπὶ συναγωγὴν νεανίσκων ἅμα ὅτι ἀνὴρ καὶ γυνὴ συλλημφθήσονται πρεσβύτερος μετὰ πλήρους ἡμερῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:12 ============ Jer 6:12 "Their houses shall be turned over to others, Their fields and their wives together; For I will stretch out My hand Against the inhabitants of the land," declares the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 6:12 Ihre Häuser sollen den Fremden zuteil werden samt den Äckern und Weibern; denn ich will meine Hand ausstrecken, spricht der HERR, über des Landes Einwohner.(dhs) Jer 6:12 καὶ μεταστραφήσονται αἱ οἰκίαι αὐτῶν εἰς ἑτέρους ἀγροὶ καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό ὅτι ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν ταύτην λέγει κύριος (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:13 ============ Jer 6:13 "For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is greedy for gain, And from the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals falsely. (nasb) Jer 6:13 "Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is given to covetousness; And from the prophet even to the priest, Everyone deals falsely. (nkjv) Jer 6:13 Denn sie geizen allesamt, klein und groß; und beide, Propheten und Priester, gehen allesamt mit Lügen um(dhs) Jer 6:13 ὅτι ἀπὸ μικροῦ αὐτῶν καὶ ἕως μεγάλου πάντες συνετελέσαντο ἄνομα ἀπὸ ἱερέως καὶ ἕως ψευδοπροφήτου πάντες ἐποίησαν ψευδῆ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:14 ============ Jer 6:14 "They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying, 'Peace, peace, 'But there is no peace. (nasb) Jer 6:14 They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, 'Peace, peace!' When there is no peace. (nkjv) Jer 6:14 und trösten mein Volk in seinem Unglück, daß sie es gering achten sollen, und sagen: "Friede! Friede!", und ist doch nicht Friede.(dhs) Jer 6:14 καὶ ἰῶντο τὸ σύντριμμα τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἐξουθενοῦντες καὶ λέγοντες εἰρήνη εἰρήνη καὶ ποῦ ἐστιν εἰρήνη (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:15 ============ Jer 6:15 "Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; They did not even know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the Lord. (nasb) Jer 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 6:15 Darum werden sie mit Schanden bestehen, daß sie solche Greuel treiben; wiewohl sie wollen ungeschändet sein und wollen sich nicht schämen. Darum müssen sie fallen auf einen Haufen; und wenn ich sie heimsuchen werde, sollen sie stürzen, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 6:15 κατῃσχύνθησαν ὅτι ἐξελίποσαν καὶ οὐδ᾽ ὧς καταισχυνόμενοι κατῃσχύνθησαν καὶ τὴν ἀτιμίαν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἔγνωσαν διὰ τοῦτο πεσοῦνται ἐν τῇ πτώσει αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν καιρῷ ἐπισκοπῆς αὐτῶν ἀπολοῦνται εἶπεν κύριος (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:16 ============ Jer 6:16 Thus says the Lord, "Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' (nasb) Jer 6:16 Thus says the Lord: "Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' (nkjv) Jer 6:16 So spricht der HERR: Tretet auf die Wege und schauet und fraget nach den vorigen Wegen, welches der gute Weg sei, und wandelt darin, so werdet ihr Ruhe finden für eure Seele! Aber sie sprechen: Wir wollen's nicht tun!(dhs) Jer 6:16 τάδε λέγει κύριος στῆτε ἐπὶ ταῖς ὁδοῖς καὶ ἴδετε καὶ ἐρωτήσατε τρίβους κυρίου αἰωνίους καὶ ἴδετε ποία ἐστὶν ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀγαθή καὶ βαδίζετε ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ εὑρήσετε ἁγνισμὸν ταῖς ψυχαῖς ὑμῶν καὶ εἶπαν οὐ πορευσόμεθα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:17 ============ Jer 6:17 "And I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!'But they said, 'We will not listen.' (nkjv) Jer 6:17 Ich habe Wächter über dich gesetzt: Merket auf die Stimme der Drommete! (nasb) Jer 6:19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people-- The fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not heeded My words, Nor My law, but rejected it. (nkjv) Jer 6:19 Du, Erde, höre zu! Siehe, ich will ein Unglück über dies Volk bringen, darum daß sie auf meine Worte nicht achten und mein Gesetz verwerfen.(dhs) Jer 6:19 ἄκουε γῆ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον κακά τὸν καρπὸν ἀποστροφῆς αὐτῶν ὅτι τῶν λόγων μου οὐ προσέσχον καὶ τὸν νόμον μου ἀπώσαντο (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:20 ============ Jer 6:20 "For what purpose does frankincense come to Me from Sheba And the sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable And your sacrifices are not pleasing to Me." (nasb) Jer 6:20 For what purpose to Me Comes frankincense from Sheba, And sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, Nor your sacrifices sweet to Me." (nkjv) Jer 6:20 Was frage ich nach Weihrauch aus Reicharabien und nach den guten Zimtrinden, die aus fernen Landen kommen? Eure Brandopfer sind mir nicht angenehm, und eure Opfer gefallen mir nicht.(dhs) Jer 6:20 ἵνα τί μοι λίβανον ἐκ Σαβα φέρετε καὶ κιννάμωμον ἐκ γῆς μακρόθεν τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ὑμῶν οὔκ εἰσιν δεκτά καὶ αἱ θυσίαι ὑμῶν οὐχ ἥδυνάν μοι (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:21 ============ Jer 6:21 Therefore, thus says the Lord, "Behold, I am laying stumbling blocks before this people. And they will stumble against them, Fathers and sons together; Neighbor and friend will perish." (nasb) Jer 6:21 Therefore thus says the Lord: "Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people, And the fathers and the sons together shall fall on them. The neighbor and his friend shall perish." (nkjv) Jer 6:21 Darum spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich will diesem Volk einen Anstoß in den Weg stellen, daran sich die Väter und Kinder miteinander stoßen und ein Nachbar mit dem andern umkommen sollen.(dhs) Jer 6:21 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ δίδωμι ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ἀσθένειαν καὶ ἀσθενήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῇ πατέρες καὶ υἱοὶ ἅμα γείτων καὶ ὁ πλησίον αὐτοῦ ἀπολοῦνται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:22 ============ Jer 6:22 Thus says the Lord, "Behold, a people is coming from the north land, And a great nation will be aroused from the remote parts of the earth. (nkjv) Jer 6:22 So spricht der HERR: Siehe, es wird ein Volk kommen von Mitternacht, und ein großes Volk wird sich erregen vom Ende der Erde,(dhs) Jer 6:22 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ λαὸς ἔρχεται ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ ἔθνη ἐξεγερθήσεται ἀπ᾽ ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:23 ============ Jer 6:23 "They seize bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea, And they ride on horses, Arrayed as a man for the battle Against you, O daughter of Zion!" (nasb) Jer 6:23 They will lay hold on bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea; And they ride on horses, As men of war set in array against you, O daughter of Zion." (nkjv) Jer 6:23 die Bogen und Lanze führen. Es ist grausam und ohne Barmherzigkeit; sie brausen daher wie ein ungestümes Meer und reiten auf Rossen, gerüstet wie Kriegsleute, wider dich, du Tochter Zion.(dhs) Jer 6:23 τόξον καὶ ζιβύνην κρατήσουσιν ἰταμός ἐστιν καὶ οὐκ ἐλεήσει φωνὴ αὐτοῦ ὡς θάλασσα κυμαίνουσα ἐφ᾽ ἵπποις καὶ ἅρμασιν παρατάξεται ὡς πῦρ εἰς πόλεμον πρὸς σέ θύγατερ Σιων (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:24 ============ Jer 6:24 We have heard the report of it; Our hands are limp. Anguish has seized us, Pain as of a woman in childbirth. (nasb) Jer 6:24 We have heard the report of it; Our hands grow feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, Pain as of a woman in labor. (nkjv) Jer 6:24 Wenn wir von ihnen hören werden, so werden uns die Fäuste entsinken; es wird uns angst und weh werden wie einer Gebärerin.(dhs) Jer 6:24 ἠκούσαμεν τὴν ἀκοὴν αὐτῶν παρελύθησαν αἱ χεῖρες ἡμῶν θλῖψις κατέσχεν ἡμᾶς ὠδῖνες ὡς τικτούσης (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:25 ============ Jer 6:25 Do not go out into the field And do not walk on the road, For the enemy has a sword, Terror is on every side. (nasb) Jer 6:25 Do not go out into the field, Nor walk by the way. Because of the sword of the enemy, Fear is on every side. (nkjv) Jer 6:25 Es gehe ja niemand hinaus auf den Acker, niemand gehe über Feld; denn es ist allenthalben unsicher vor dem Schwert des Feindes.(dhs) Jer 6:25 μὴ ἐκπορεύεσθε εἰς ἀγρὸν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς μὴ βαδίζετε ὅτι ῥομφαία τῶν ἐχθρῶν παροικεῖ κυκλόθεν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:26 ============ Jer 6:26 O daughter of my people, put on sackcloth And roll in ashes; Mourn as for an only son, A lamentation most bitter. Make mourning as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; For the plunderer will suddenly come upon us. (nkjv) Jer 6:26 O Tochter meines Volks, zieh Säcke an und lege dich in Asche; trage Leid wie um einen einzigen Sohn und klage wie die, so hoch betrübt sind! denn der Verderber kommt über uns plötzlich.(dhs) Jer 6:26 θύγατερ λαοῦ μου περίζωσαι σάκκον κατάπασαι ἐν σποδῷ πένθος ἀγαπητοῦ ποίησαι σεαυτῇ κοπετὸν οἰκτρόν ὅτι ἐξαίφνης ἥξει ταλαιπωρία ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:27 ============ Jer 6:27 "I have made you an assayer and a tester among My people, That you may know and assay their way." (nasb) Jer 6:27 "I have set you as an assayer and a fortress among My people, That you may know and test their way. (nkjv) Jer 6:27 Ich habe dich zum Schmelzer gesetzt unter mein Volk, das so hart ist, daß du ihr Wesen erfahren und prüfen sollst.(dhs) Jer 6:27 δοκιμαστὴν δέδωκά σε ἐν λαοῖς δεδοκιμασμένοις καὶ γνώσῃ με ἐν τῷ δοκιμάσαι με τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 6:28 ============ Jer 6:28 All of them are stubbornly rebellious, Going about as a talebearer. They are bronze and iron; They, all of them, are corrupt. (nasb) Jer 6:28 They are all stubborn rebels, walking as slanderers.
