(nkjv) Jer 10:3 Denn der Heiden Satzungen sind lauter Nichts. Denn sie hauen im Walde einen Baum, und der Werkmeister macht Götter mit dem Beil(dhs) Jer 10:3 ὅτι τὰ νόμιμα τῶν ἐθνῶν μάταια ξύλον ἐστὶν ἐκ τοῦ δρυμοῦ ἐκκεκομμένον ἔργον τέκτονος καὶ χώνευμα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:4 ============ Jer 10:4 "They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter. (nkjv) Jer 10:4 und schmückt sie mit Silber und Gold und heftet sie mit Nägeln und Hämmern, daß sie nicht umfallen.(dhs) Jer 10:4 ἀργυρίῳ καὶ χρυσίῳ κεκαλλωπισμένα ἐστίν ἐν σφύραις καὶ ἥλοις ἐστερέωσαν αὐτά καὶ οὐ κινηθήσονται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:5 ============ Jer 10:5 "Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field are they, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot walk! Do not fear them, For they can do no harm, Nor can they do any good." (nasb) Jer 10:5 They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good." (nkjv) Jer 10:5 Es sind ja nichts als überzogene Säulen. Sie können nicht reden; so muß man sie auch tragen, denn sie können nicht gehen. Darum sollt ihr euch nicht vor ihnen fürchten: denn sie können weder helfen noch Schaden tun.(dhs) Jer 10:5 αἰρόμενα ἀρθήσονται ὅτι οὐκ ἐπιβήσονται μὴ φοβηθῆτε αὐτά ὅτι οὐ μὴ κακοποιήσωσιν καὶ ἀγαθὸν οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐτοῖς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:6 ============ Jer 10:6 There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and great is Your name in might. (nasb) Jer 10:6 Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord (You are great, and Your name is great in might), (nkjv) Jer 10:6 Aber dir, HERR, ist niemand gleich; du bist groß, und dein Name ist groß, und kannst es mit der Tat beweisen.(dhs) Jer 10:6 -- (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:7 ============ Jer 10:7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations And in all their kingdoms, There is none like You. (nasb) Jer 10:7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations, And in all their kingdoms, There is none like You. (nkjv) Jer 10:7 Wer sollte dich nicht fürchten, du König der Heiden? Dir sollte man gehorchen; denn es ist unter allen Weisen der Heiden und in allen Königreichen deinesgleichen nicht.(dhs) Jer 10:7 -- (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:8 ============ Jer 10:8 But they are altogether stupid and foolish In their discipline of delusion - their idol is wood! (nasb) Jer 10:8 But they are altogether dull-hearted and foolish; A wooden idol is a worthless doctrine. (nkjv) Jer 10:8 Sie sind allzumal Narren und Toren; denn ein Holz muß ja ein nichtiger Gottesdienst sein.(dhs) Jer 10:8 -- (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:9 ============ Jer 10:9 Beaten silver is brought from Tarshish, And gold from Uphaz, The work of a craftsman and of the hands of a goldsmith; Violet and purple are their clothing; They are all the work of skilled men. (nasb) Jer 10:9 Silver is beaten into plates; It is brought from Tarshish, And gold from Uphaz, The work of the craftsman And of the hands of the metalsmith; Blue and purple are their clothing; They are all the work of skillful men. (nkjv) Jer 10:9 Silbernes Blech bringt man aus Tharsis, Gold aus Uphas, durch den Meister und Goldschmied zugerichtet; blauen und roten Purpur zieht man ihm an, und ist alles der Weisen Werk.(dhs) Jer 10:9 ἀργύριον τορευτόν ἐστιν οὐ πορεύσονται ἀργύριον προσβλητὸν ἀπὸ Θαρσις ἥξει χρυσίον Μωφαζ καὶ χεὶρ χρυσοχόων ἔργα τεχνιτῶν πάντα ὑάκινθον καὶ πορφύραν ἐνδύσουσιν αὐτά (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:10 ============ Jer 10:10 But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries." (nkjv) Jer 10:13 Wenn er donnert, so ist des Wassers die Menge unter dem Himmel, und er zieht die Nebel auf vom Ende der Erde; er macht die Blitze im Regen und läßt den Wind kommen aus seinen Vorratskammern.(dhs) Jer 10:13 καὶ πλῆθος ὕδατος ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἀνήγαγεν νεφέλας ἐξ ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς ἀστραπὰς εἰς ὑετὸν ἐποίησεν καὶ ἐξήγαγεν φῶς ἐκ θησαυρῶν αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:14 ============ Jer 10:14 Every man is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; For his molten images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them. (nasb) Jer 10:14 Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by an image; For his molded image is falsehood, And there is no breath in them. (nkjv) Jer 10:14 Alle Menschen sind Narren mit ihrer Kunst, und alle Goldschmiede bestehen mit Schanden mit ihren Bildern; denn ihre Götzen sind Trügerei und haben kein Leben.(dhs) Jer 10:14 ἐμωράνθη πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ἀπὸ γνώσεως κατῃσχύνθη πᾶς χρυσοχόος ἐπὶ τοῖς γλυπτοῖς αὐτοῦ ὅτι ψευδῆ ἐχώνευσαν οὐκ ἔστιν πνεῦμα ἐν αὐτοῖς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:15 ============ Jer 10:15 They are worthless, a work of mockery; In the time of their punishment they will perish. (nasb) Jer 10:15 They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish. (nkjv) Jer 10:15 Es ist eitel Nichts und ein verführerisches Werk; sie müssen umkommen, wenn sie heimgesucht werden.(dhs) Jer 10:15 μάταιά ἐστιν ἔργα ἐμπεπαιγμένα ἐν καιρῷ ἐπισκοπῆς αὐτῶν ἀπολοῦνται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:16 ============ Jer 10:16 The portion of Jacob is not like these; For the Maker of all is He, And Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; The Lord of hosts is His name. (nasb) Jer 10:16 The Portion of Jacob is not like them, For He is the Maker of all things, And Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; The Lord of hosts is His name. (nkjv) Jer 10:16 Aber also ist der nicht, der Jakobs Schatz ist; sondern er ist's, der alles geschaffen hat, und Israel ist sein Erbteil. (nkjv) Jer 10:17 Tue deinen Kram weg aus dem Lande, die du wohnest in der Feste.(dhs) Jer 10:17 συνήγαγεν ἔξωθεν τὴν ὑπόστασίν σου κατοικοῦσα ἐν ἐκλεκτοῖς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:18 ============ Jer 10:18 For thus says the Lord, "Behold, I am slinging out the inhabitants of the land At this time, And will cause them distress, That they may be found." (nasb) Jer 10:18 For thus says the Lord: "Behold, I will throw out at this time The inhabitants of the land, And will distress them, That they may find it so." (nkjv) Jer 10:18 Denn so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will die Einwohner des Landes auf diesmal wegschleudern und will sie ängsten, daß sie es fühlen sollen.(dhs) Jer 10:18 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ σκελίζω τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν ταύτην ἐν θλίψει ὅπως εὑρεθῇ ἡ πληγή σου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 10:19 ============ Jer 10:19 Woe is me, because of my injury! My wound is incurable. But I said, "Truly this is a sickness, And I must bear it." (nasb) Jer 10:19 Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is severe.
