Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 12:1 ============ Jer 12:1 Righteous are You, O Lord, that I would plead my case with You; Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease? (nasb) Jer 12:1 Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? (nkjv) Jer 12:1 HERR, wenn ich gleich mit dir rechten wollte, so behältst du doch recht; dennoch muß ich vom Recht mit dir reden. Warum geht's doch den Gottlosen so wohl und die Verächter haben alles die Fülle?(dhs) Jer 12:1 δίκαιος εἶ κύριε ὅτι ἀπολογήσομαι πρὸς σέ πλὴν κρίματα λαλήσω πρὸς σέ τί ὅτι ὁδὸς ἀσεβῶν εὐοδοῦται εὐθήνησαν πάντες οἱ ἀθετοῦντες ἀθετήματα (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:2 ============ Jer 12:2 You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have even produced fruit. You are near to their lips But far from their mind. (nasb) Jer 12:2 You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth But far from their mind. (nkjv) Jer 12:2 Du pflanzt sie, daß sie wurzeln und wachsen und Frucht bringen. Nahe bist du in ihrem Munde, aber ferne von ihrem Herzen;(dhs) Jer 12:2 ἐφύτευσας αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐρριζώθησαν ἐτεκνοποίησαν καὶ ἐποίησαν καρπόν ἐγγὺς εἶ σὺ τοῦ στόματος αὐτῶν καὶ πόρρω ἀπὸ τῶν νεφρῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:3 ============ Jer 12:3 But You know me, O Lord; You see me; And You examine my heart's attitude toward You. Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter And set them apart for a day of carnage! (nasb) Jer 12:3 But You, O Lord, know me; You have seen me, And You have tested my heart toward You. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, And prepare them for the day of slaughter. (nkjv) Jer 12:3 mich aber, HERR, kennst du und siehst mich und prüfst mein Herz vor dir. Reiße sie weg wie Schafe, daß sie geschlachtet werden; sondere sie aus, daß sie gewürgt werden.(dhs) Jer 12:3 καὶ σύ κύριε γινώσκεις με δεδοκίμακας τὴν καρδίαν μου ἐναντίον σου ἅγνισον αὐτοὺς εἰς ἡμέραν σφαγῆς αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:4 ============ Jer 12:4 How long is the land to mourn And the vegetation of the countryside to wither? For the wickedness of those who dwell in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because men have said, "He will not see our latter ending." (nasb) Jer 12:4 How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said, "He will not see our final end." (nkjv) Jer 12:4 Wie lange soll doch das Land so jämmerlich stehen und das Gras auf dem Felde allenthalben verdorren um der Einwohner Bosheit willen, daß beide, Vieh und Vögel, nimmer da sind? denn sie sprechen: Ja, er weiß viel, wie es uns gehen wird.(dhs) Jer 12:4 ἕως πότε πενθήσει ἡ γῆ καὶ πᾶς ὁ χόρτος τοῦ ἀγροῦ ξηρανθήσεται ἀπὸ κακίας τῶν κατοικούντων ἐν αὐτῇ ἠφανίσθησαν κτήνη καὶ πετεινά ὅτι εἶπαν οὐκ ὄψεται ὁ θεὸς ὁδοὺς ἡμῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:5 ============ Jer 12:5 "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan? (nasb) Jer 12:5 "If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan? (nkjv) Jer 12:5 Wenn dich die müde machen, die zu Fuße gehen, wie will dir's gehen wenn du mit den Reitern laufen sollst? Und so du in dem Lande, da es Friede ist, Sicherheit suchst, was will mit dir werden bei dem stolzen Jordan?(dhs) Jer 12:5 σοῦ οἱ πόδες τρέχουσιν καὶ ἐκλύουσίν σε πῶς παρασκευάσῃ ἐφ᾽ ἵπποις καὶ ἐν γῇ εἰρήνης σὺ πέποιθας πῶς ποιήσεις ἐν φρυάγματι τοῦ Ιορδάνου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:6 ============ Jer 12:6 "For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have cried aloud after you. Do not believe them, although they may say nice things to you." (nasb) Jer 12:6 For even your brothers, the house of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you; Yes, they have called a multitude after you. Do not believe them, Even though they speak smooth words to you. (nkjv) Jer 12:6 Denn es verachten dich auch deine Brüder und deines Vaters Haus und schreien zeter! über dich. Darum vertraue du ihnen nicht, wenn sie gleich freundlich mit dir reden.(dhs) Jer 12:6 ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκος τοῦ πατρός σου καὶ οὗτοι ἠθέτησάν σε καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐβόησαν ἐκ τῶν ὀπίσω σου ἐπισυνήχθησαν μὴ πιστεύσῃς ἐν αὐτοῖς ὅτι λαλήσουσιν πρὸς σὲ καλά (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:7 ============ Jer 12:7 "I have forsaken My house, I have abandoned My inheritance; I have given the beloved of My soul Into the hand of her enemies. (nasb) Jer 12:7 "I have forsaken My house, I have left My heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of My soul into the hand of her enemies. (nkjv) Jer 12:7 Ich habe mein Haus verlassen müssen und mein Erbe meiden, und was meine Seele liebt, in der Feinde Hand geben.(dhs) Jer 12:7 ἐγκαταλέλοιπα τὸν οἶκόν μου ἀφῆκα τὴν κληρονομίαν μου ἔδωκα τὴν ἠγαπημένην ψυχήν μου εἰς χεῖρας ἐχθρῶν αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:8 ============ Jer 12:8 "My inheritance has become to Me Like a lion in the forest; She has roared against Me; Therefore I have come to hate her. (nasb) Jer 12:8 My heritage is to Me like a lion in the forest; It cries out against Me; Therefore I have hated it. (nkjv) Jer 12:8 Mein Erbe ist mir geworden wie ein Löwe im Walde und brüllt wider mich; darum bin ich ihm gram geworden.(dhs) Jer 12:8 ἐγενήθη ἡ κληρονομία μου ἐμοὶ ὡς λέων ἐν δρυμῷ ἔδωκεν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῆς διὰ τοῦτο ἐμίσησα αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:9 ============ Jer 12:9 "Is My inheritance like a speckled bird of prey to Me? Are the birds of prey against her on every side? Go, gather all the beasts of the field, Bring them to devour! (nasb) Jer 12:9 My heritage is to Me like a speckled vulture; The vultures all around are against her. Come, assemble all the beasts of the field, Bring them to devour! (nkjv) Jer 12:9 Mein Erbe ist wie der sprenklige Vogel, um welchen sich die Vögel sammeln. Wohlauf, sammelt euch, alle Feldtiere, kommt und fresset.(dhs) Jer 12:9 μὴ σπήλαιον ὑαίνης ἡ κληρονομία μου ἐμοὶ ἢ σπήλαιον κύκλῳ αὐτῆς βαδίσατε συναγάγετε πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ καὶ ἐλθέτωσαν τοῦ φαγεῖν αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:10 ============ Jer 12:10 "Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard, They have trampled down My field; They have made My pleasant field A desolate wilderness. (nasb) Jer 12:10 "Many rulers have destroyed My vineyard, They have trodden My portion underfoot; They have made My pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. (nkjv) Jer 12:10 Es haben Hirten, und deren viel, meinen Weinberg verderbt und meinen Acker zertreten; sie haben meinen schönen Acker zur Wüste gemacht, sie haben's öde gemacht.(dhs) Jer 12:10 ποιμένες πολλοὶ διέφθειραν τὸν ἀμπελῶνά μου ἐμόλυναν τὴν μερίδα μου ἔδωκαν μερίδα ἐπιθυμητήν μου εἰς ἔρημον ἄβατον (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:11 ============ Jer 12:11 "It has been made a desolation, Desolate, it mourns before Me; The whole land has been made desolate, Because no man lays it to heart. (nasb) Jer 12:11 They have made it desolate; Desolate, it mourns to Me; The whole land is made desolate, Because no one takes it to heart. (nkjv) Jer 12:11 Ich sehe bereits wie es so jämmerlich verwüstet ist; ja das ganze Land ist wüst. Aber es will's niemand zu Herzen nehmen.(dhs) Jer 12:11 ἐτέθη εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἀπωλείας δι᾽ ἐμὲ ἀφανισμῷ ἠφανίσθη πᾶσα ἡ γῆ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀνὴρ τιθέμενος ἐν καρδίᾳ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:12 ============ Jer 12:12 "On all the bare heights in the wilderness Destroyers have come, For a sword of the Lord is devouring From one end of the land even to the other; There is no peace for anyone. (nasb) Jer 12:12 The plunderers have come On all the desolate heights in the wilderness, For the sword of the Lord shall devour From one end of the land to the other end of the land; No flesh shall have peace. (nkjv) Jer 12:12 Denn die Verstörer fahren daher über alle Hügel der Wüste, und das fressende Schwert des HERRN von einem Ende des Landes bis zum andern; und kein Fleisch wird Frieden haben.(dhs) Jer 12:12 ἐπὶ πᾶσαν διεκβολὴν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἦλθον ταλαιπωροῦντες ὅτι μάχαιρα τοῦ κυρίου καταφάγεται ἀπ᾽ ἄκρου τῆς γῆς ἕως ἄκρου τῆς γῆς οὐκ ἔστιν εἰρήνη πάσῃ σαρκί (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:13 ============ Jer 12:13 "They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns, They have strained themselves to no profit. But be ashamed of your harvest Because of the fierce anger of the Lord." (nasb) Jer 12:13 They have sown wheat but reaped thorns; They have put themselves to pain but do not profit. But be ashamed of your harvest Because of the fierce anger of the Lord." (nkjv) Jer 12:13 Sie säen Weizen, aber Disteln werden sie ernten; sie lassen's sich sauer werden, aber sie werden's nicht genießen; sie werden ihres Einkommens nicht froh werden vor dem grimmigen Zorn des HERRN.(dhs) Jer 12:13 σπείρατε πυροὺς καὶ ἀκάνθας θερίσατε οἱ κλῆροι αὐτῶν οὐκ ὠφελήσουσιν αὐτούς αἰσχύνθητε ἀπὸ καυχήσεως ὑμῶν ἀπὸ ὀνειδισμοῦ ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:14 ============ Jer 12:14 Thus says the Lord concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel," Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. (nasb) Jer 12:14 Thus says the Lord: "Against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit--behold, I will pluck them out of their land and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. (nkjv) Jer 12:14 So spricht der HERR wider alle meine bösen Nachbarn, so das Erbteil antasten, das ich meinem Volk Israel ausgeteilt habe: Siehe, ich will sie aus ihrem Lande ausreißen und das Haus Juda aus ihrer Mitte reißen.(dhs) Jer 12:14 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος περὶ πάντων τῶν γειτόνων τῶν πονηρῶν τῶν ἁπτομένων τῆς κληρονομίας μου ἧς ἐμέρισα τῷ λαῷ μου Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποσπῶ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν Ιουδαν ἐκβαλῶ ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:15 ============ Jer 12:15 And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. (nasb) Jer 12:15 Then it shall be, after I have plucked them out, that I will return and have compassion on them and bring them back, everyone to his heritage and everyone to his land. (nkjv) Jer 12:15 Und wenn ich sie nun ausgerissen habe, will ich mich wiederum über sie erbarmen und will einen jeglichen zu seinem Erbteil und in sein Land wiederbringen.(dhs) Jer 12:15 καὶ ἔσται μετὰ τὸ ἐκβαλεῖν με αὐτοὺς ἐπιστρέψω καὶ ἐλεήσω αὐτοὺς καὶ κατοικιῶ αὐτοὺς ἕκαστον εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἕκαστον εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:16 ============ Jer 12:16 Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, 'As the Lord lives, 'even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people. (nasb) Jer 12:16 And it shall be, if they will learn carefully the ways of My people, to swear by My name, 'As the Lord lives,' as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be established in the midst of My people. (nkjv) Jer 12:16 Und soll geschehen, wo sie von meinem Volk lernen werden, daß sie schwören bei meinem Namen: "So wahr der HERR lebt!", wie sie zuvor mein Volk gelehrt haben schwören bei Baal, so sollen sie unter meinem Volk erbaut werden.(dhs) Jer 12:16 καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μαθόντες μάθωσιν τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ λαοῦ μου τοῦ ὀμνύειν τῷ ὀνόματί μου ζῇ κύριος καθὼς ἐδίδαξαν τὸν λαόν μου ὀμνύειν τῇ Βααλ καὶ οἰκοδομηθήσονται ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ μου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 12:17 ============ Jer 12:17 But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 12:17 But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation," says the Lord.
