Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 15:1 ============ Jer 15:1 Then the Lord said to me, "Even though Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, My heart would not be with this people; send them away from My presence and let them go! (nasb) Jer 15:1 Then the Lord said to me, "Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth. (nkjv) Jer 15:1 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Und wenngleich Mose und Samuel vor mir stünden, so habe ich doch kein Herz zu diesem Volk; treibe sie weg von mir und laß sie hinfahren!(dhs) Jer 15:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἐὰν στῇ Μωυσῆς καὶ Σαμουηλ πρὸ προσώπου μου οὐκ ἔστιν ἡ ψυχή μου πρὸς αὐτούς ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον καὶ ἐξελθέτωσαν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:2 ============ Jer 15:2 And it shall be that when they say to you, 'Where should we go?'then you are to tell them, 'Thus says the Lord:" Those destined for death, to death; And those destined for the sword, to the sword; And those destined for famine, to famine; And those destined for captivity, to captivity."' (nasb) Jer 15:2 And it shall be, if they say to you, 'Where should we go?' then you shall tell them, 'Thus says the Lord: "Such as are for death, to death; And such as are for the sword, to the sword; And such as are for the famine, to the famine; And such as are for the captivity, to the captivity." ' (nkjv) Jer 15:2 Und wenn sie zu dir sagen: Wo sollen wir hin? so sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR: Wen der Tod trifft, den treffe er; wen das Schwert trifft, den treffe es; wen der Hunger trifft, den treffe er; wen das Gefängnis trifft, den treffe es.(dhs) Jer 15:2 καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν εἴπωσιν πρὸς σέ ποῦ ἐξελευσόμεθα καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ὅσοι εἰς θάνατον εἰς θάνατον καὶ ὅσοι εἰς μάχαιραν εἰς μάχαιραν καὶ ὅσοι εἰς λιμόν εἰς λιμόν καὶ ὅσοι εἰς αἰχμαλωσίαν εἰς αἰχμαλωσίαν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:3 ============ Jer 15:3 I will appoint over them four kinds of doom," declares the Lord."the sword to slay, the dogs to drag off, and the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy. (nasb) Jer 15:3 "And I will appoint over them four forms of destruction," says the Lord: "the sword to slay, the dogs to drag, the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy. (nkjv) Jer 15:3 Denn ich will sie heimsuchen mit vielerlei Plagen, spricht der HERR: mit dem Schwert, daß sie erwürgt werden; mit Hunden, die sie schleifen sollen; mit den Vögeln des Himmels und mit Tieren auf Erden, daß sie gefressen und vertilgt werden sollen.(dhs) Jer 15:3 καὶ ἐκδικήσω ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς τέσσαρα εἴδη λέγει κύριος τὴν μάχαιραν εἰς σφαγὴν καὶ τοὺς κύνας εἰς διασπασμὸν καὶ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ εἰς βρῶσιν καὶ εἰς διαφθοράν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:4 ============ Jer 15:4 I will make them an object of horror among all the kingdoms of the earth because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, the king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem. (nasb) Jer 15:4 I will hand them over to trouble, to all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem. (nkjv) Jer 15:4 Und ich will sie in allen Königreichen auf Erden hin und her treiben lassen um Manasses willen, des Sohnes Hiskias, des Königs in Juda, um deswillen, was er zu Jerusalem begangen hat.(dhs) Jer 15:4 καὶ παραδώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἀνάγκας πάσαις ταῖς βασιλείαις τῆς γῆς διὰ Μανασση υἱὸν Εζεκιου βασιλέα Ιουδα περὶ πάντων ὧν ἐποίησεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:5 ============ Jer 15:5 "Indeed, who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem, Or who will mourn for you, Or who will turn aside to ask about your welfare? (nasb) Jer 15:5 "For who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem? Or who will bemoan you? Or who will turn aside to ask how you are doing? (nkjv) Jer 15:5 Wer will denn sich dein erbarmen, Jerusalem? Wer wird denn Mitleiden mit dir haben? Wer wird denn hingehen und dir Frieden wünschen?(dhs) Jer 15:5 τίς φείσεται ἐπὶ σοί Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τίς δειλιάσει ἐπὶ σοί ἢ τίς ἀνακάμψει εἰς εἰρήνην σοι (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:6 ============ Jer 15:6 "You who have forsaken Me," declares the Lord, "You keep going backward. So I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am tired of relenting! (nasb) Jer 15:6 You have forsaken Me," says the Lord, "You have gone backward. Therefore I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am weary of relenting! (nkjv) Jer 15:6 Du hast mich verlassen, spricht der HERR, und bist von mir abgefallen; darum habe ich meine Hand ausgestreckt wider dich, daß ich dich verderben will; ich bin des Erbarmens müde.(dhs) Jer 15:6 σὺ ἀπεστράφης με λέγει κύριος ὀπίσω πορεύσῃ καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου καὶ διαφθερῶ σε καὶ οὐκέτι ἀνήσω αὐτούς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:7 ============ Jer 15:7 "I will winnow them with a winnowing fork At the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy My people; They did not repent of their ways. (nasb) Jer 15:7 And I will winnow them with a winnowing fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children; I will destroy My people, Since they do not return from their ways. (nkjv) Jer 15:7 Ich will sie mit der Wurfschaufel zum Lande hinausworfeln und will mein Volk, so von seinem Wesen sich nicht bekehren will, zu eitel Waisen machen und umbringen.(dhs) Jer 15:7 καὶ διασπερῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν διασπορᾷ ἐν πύλαις λαοῦ μου ἠτεκνώθησαν ἀπώλεσαν τὸν λαόν μου διὰ τὰς κακίας αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:8 ============ Jer 15:8 "Their widows will be more numerous before Me Than the sand of the seas; I will bring against them, against the mother of a young man, A destroyer at noonday; I will suddenly bring down on her Anguish and dismay. (nasb) Jer 15:8 Their widows will be increased to Me more than the sand of the seas; I will bring against them, Against the mother of the young men, A plunderer at noonday; I will cause anguish and terror to fall on them suddenly. (nkjv) Jer 15:8 Es sollen mir mehr Witwen unter ihnen werden, denn Sand am Meer ist. Ich will über die Mutter der jungen Mannschaft kommen lassen einen offenbaren Verderber und die Stadt damit plötzlich und unversehens überfallen lassen,(dhs) Jer 15:8 ἐπληθύνθησαν χῆραι αὐτῶν ὑπὲρ τὴν ἄμμον τῆς θαλάσσης ἐπήγαγον ἐπὶ μητέρα νεανίσκου ταλαιπωρίαν ἐν μεσημβρίᾳ ἐπέρριψα ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ἐξαίφνης τρόμον καὶ σπουδήν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:9 ============ Jer 15:9 "She who bore seven sons pines away; Her breathing is labored. Her sun has set while it was yet day; She has been shamed and humiliated. So I will give over their survivors to the sword Before their enemies," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 15:9 "She languishes who has borne seven; She has breathed her last; Her sun has gone down While it was yet day; She has been ashamed and confounded. And the remnant of them I will deliver to the sword Before their enemies," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 15:9 daß die, die sieben Kinder hat, soll elend sein und von Herzen seufzen. Denn ihre Sonne soll bei hohem Tage untergehen, daß ihr Ruhm und ihre Freude ein Ende haben soll. Und die übrigen will ich ins Schwert geben vor ihren Feinden, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 15:9 ἐκενώθη ἡ τίκτουσα ἑπτά ἀπεκάκησεν ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῆς ἐπέδυ ὁ ἥλιος αὐτῇ ἔτι μεσούσης τῆς ἡμέρας κατῃσχύνθη καὶ ὠνειδίσθη τοὺς καταλοίπους αὐτῶν εἰς μάχαιραν δώσω ἐναντίον τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:10 ============ Jer 15:10 Woe to me, my mother, that you have borne me As a man of strife and a man of contention to all the land! I have not lent, nor have men lent money to me, Yet everyone curses me. (nasb) Jer 15:10 Woe is me, my mother, That you have borne me, A man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent for interest, Nor have men lent to me for interest. Every one of them curses me. (nkjv) Jer 15:10 Ach, meine Mutter, daß du mich geboren hast, wider den jedermann hadert und zankt im ganzen Lande! Habe ich doch weder auf Wucher geliehen noch genommen; doch flucht mir jedermann.(dhs) Jer 15:10 οἴμμοι ἐγώ μῆτερ ὡς τίνα με ἔτεκες ἄνδρα δικαζόμενον καὶ διακρινόμενον πάσῃ τῇ γῇ οὔτε ὠφέλησα οὔτε ὠφέλησέν με οὐδείς ἡ ἰσχύς μου ἐξέλιπεν ἐν τοῖς καταρωμένοις με (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:11 ============ Jer 15:11 The Lord said, "Surely I will set you free for purposes of good; Surely I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you In a time of disaster and a time of distress. (nasb) Jer 15:11 The Lord said: "Surely it will be well with your remnant; Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction. (nkjv) Jer 15:11 Der HERR sprach: Wohlan, ich will euer etliche übrigbehalten, denen es soll wieder wohl gehen, und will euch zu Hilfe kommen in der Not und Angst unter den Feinden.(dhs) Jer 15:11 γένοιτο δέσποτα κατευθυνόντων αὐτῶν εἰ μὴ παρέστην σοι ἐν καιρῷ τῶν κακῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν καιρῷ θλίψεως αὐτῶν εἰς ἀγαθὰ πρὸς τὸν ἐχθρόν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:12 ============ Jer 15:12 "Can anyone smash iron, Iron from the north, or bronze? (nasb) Jer 15:12 Can anyone break iron, The northern iron and the bronze? (nkjv) Jer 15:12 Meinst du nicht, daß etwa ein Eisen sei, welches könnte das Eisen und Erz von Mitternacht zerschlagen?(dhs) Jer 15:12 εἰ γνωσθήσεται σίδηρος καὶ περιβόλαιον χαλκοῦν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:13 ============ Jer 15:13 "Your wealth and your treasures I will give for booty without cost, Even for all your sins And within all your borders. (nasb) Jer 15:13 Your wealth and your treasures I will give as plunder without price, Because of all your sins, Throughout your territories. (nkjv) Jer 15:13 Ich will aber zuvor euer Gut und eure Schätze zum Raub geben, daß ihr nichts dafür kriegen sollt, und das um aller eurer Sünden willen, die ihr in allen euren Grenzen begangen habt.(dhs) Jer 15:13 ἡ ἰσχύς σου καὶ τοὺς θησαυρούς σου εἰς προνομὴν δώσω ἀντάλλαγμα διὰ πάσας τὰς ἁμαρτίας σου καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ὁρίοις σου (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:14 ============ Jer 15:14 "Then I will cause your enemies to bring it Into a land you do not know; For a fire has been kindled in My anger, It will burn upon you." (nasb) Jer 15:14 And I will make you cross over with your enemies Into a land which you do not know; For a fire is kindled in My anger, Which shall burn upon you." (nkjv) Jer 15:14 Und ich will euch zu euren Feinden bringen in ein Land, das ihr nicht kennt; denn es ist das Feuer in meinem Zorn über euch angegangen.(dhs) Jer 15:14 καὶ καταδουλώσω σε κύκλῳ τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου ἐν τῇ γῇ ᾗ οὐκ ᾔδεις ὅτι πῦρ ἐκκέκαυται ἐκ τοῦ θυμοῦ μου ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καυθήσεται (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:15 ============ Jer 15:15 You who know, O Lord, Remember me, take notice of me, And take vengeance for me on my persecutors. Do not, in view of Your patience, take me away; Know that for Your sake I endure reproach. (nasb) Jer 15:15 O Lord, You know; Remember me and visit me, And take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In Your enduring patience, do not take me away. Know that for Your sake I have suffered rebuke. (nkjv) Jer 15:15 Ach HERR, du weißt es; gedenke an mich und nimm dich meiner an und räche mich an meinen Verfolgern. Nimm mich auf und verzieh nicht deinem Zorn über sie; denn du weißt, daß ich um deinetwillen geschmäht werde.(dhs) Jer 15:15 κύριε μνήσθητί μου καὶ ἐπίσκεψαί με καὶ ἀθῴωσόν με ἀπὸ τῶν καταδιωκόντων με μὴ εἰς μακροθυμίαν γνῶθι ὡς ἔλαβον περὶ σοῦ ὀνειδισμὸν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:16 ============ Jer 15:16 Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. (nasb) Jer 15:16 Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. Because of Your hand upon me I sat alone, For You filled me with indignation. (nasb) Jer 15:17 I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, Nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand, For You have filled me with indignation. (nkjv) Jer 15:17 Ich habe mich nicht zu den Spöttern gesellt noch mich mit ihnen gefreut, sondern bin allein geblieben vor deiner Hand; denn du hattest mich gefüllt mit deinem Grimm.(dhs) Jer 15:17 οὐκ ἐκάθισα ἐν συνεδρίῳ αὐτῶν παιζόντων ἀλλὰ εὐλαβούμην ἀπὸ προσώπου χειρός σου κατὰ μόνας ἐκαθήμην ὅτι πικρίας ἐνεπλήσθην (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:18 ============ Jer 15:18 Why has my pain been perpetual And my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will You indeed be to me like a deceptive stream With water that is unreliable? (nasb) Jer 15:18 Why is my pain perpetual And my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed? Will You surely be to me like an unreliable stream, As waters that fail? (nkjv) Jer 15:18 Warum währt doch mein Leiden so lange, und meine Wunden sind so gar böse, daß sie niemand heilen kann? Du bist mir geworden wie ein Born, der nicht mehr quellen will.(dhs) Jer 15:18 ἵνα τί οἱ λυποῦντές με κατισχύουσίν μου ἡ πληγή μου στερεά πόθεν ἰαθήσομαι γινομένη ἐγενήθη μοι ὡς ὕδωρ ψευδὲς οὐκ ἔχον πίστιν (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:19 ============ Jer 15:19 Therefore, thus says the Lord, "If you return, then I will restore you - Before Me you will stand; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, But as for you, you must not turn to them. (nasb) Jer 15:19 Therefore thus says the Lord: "If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them. (nkjv) Jer 15:19 Darum spricht der HERR also: Wo du dich zu mir hältst, so will ich mich zu dir halten, und du sollst mein Prediger bleiben. Und wo du die Frommen lehrst sich sondern von den bösen Leuten, so sollst du mein Mund sein. Und ehe du solltest zu ihnen fallen, so müssen sie eher zu dir fallen.(dhs) Jer 15:19 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐὰν ἐπιστρέψῃς καὶ ἀποκαταστήσω σε καὶ πρὸ προσώπου μου στήσῃ καὶ ἐὰν ἐξαγάγῃς τίμιον ἀπὸ ἀναξίου ὡς στόμα μου ἔσῃ καὶ ἀναστρέψουσιν αὐτοὶ πρὸς σέ καὶ σὺ οὐκ ἀναστρέψεις πρὸς αὐτούς (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:20 ============ Jer 15:20 "Then I will make you to this people A fortified wall of bronze; And though they fight against you, They will not prevail over you; For I am with you to save you And deliver you," declares the Lord. (nasb) Jer 15:20 And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; And they will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you; For I am with you to save you And deliver you," says the Lord. (nkjv) Jer 15:20 Denn ich habe dich wider dies Volk zur festen, ehernen Mauer gemacht; ob sie wider dich streiten, sollen sie dir doch nichts anhaben; denn ich bin bei dir, daß ich dir helfe und dich errette, spricht der HERR,(dhs) Jer 15:20 καὶ δώσω σε τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ ὡς τεῖχος ὀχυρὸν χαλκοῦν καὶ πολεμήσουσιν πρὸς σὲ καὶ οὐ μὴ δύνωνται πρὸς σέ διότι μετὰ σοῦ εἰμι τοῦ σῴζειν σε (lxx) ======= Jeremiah 15:21 ============ Jer 15:21 "So I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, And I will redeem you from the grasp of the violent." (nasb) Jer 15:21 "I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, And I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible."
