Links to all Books and Chapters Today's Date: ======= Numbers 8:1 ============ Num 8:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) Num 8:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(kjv) Num 8:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:(nkjv) ======= Numbers 8:2 ============ Num 8:2 "Speak to Aaron and say to him, 'When you mount the lamps, the seven lamps will give light in the front of the lampstand.'"(nasb) Num 8:2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.(kjv) Num 8:2 "Speak to Aaron, and say to him, 'When you arrange the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.' "(nkjv) ======= Numbers 8:3 ============ Num 8:3 Aaron therefore did so; he mounted its lamps at the front of the lampstand, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) Num 8:3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.(kjv) Num 8:3 And Aaron did so; he arranged the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 8:4 ============ Num 8:4 Now this was the workmanship of the lampstand, hammered work of gold; from its base to its flowers it was hammered work; according to the pattern which the Lord had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand. (nasb) Num 8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.(kjv) Num 8:4 Now this workmanship of the lampstand was hammered gold; from its shaft to its flowers it was hammered work. Thus you shall deal with the Levites concerning their obligations." (nasb) Num 8:26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.(kjv) Num 8:26 They may minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of meeting, to attend to needs, but they themselves shall do no work.
