Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. (nasb) Isa 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.(kjv) Isa 19:1 The burden against Egypt. (nasb) Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.(kjv) Isa 19:3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, And they will consult the idols and the charmers, The mediums and the sorcerers.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 19:4 ============ Isa 19:4 "Moreover, I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel master, And a mighty king will rule over them," declares the Lord God of hosts. (nasb) Isa 19:10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.(kjv) Isa 19:10 And its foundations will be broken. All who make wages will be troubled of soul.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 19:11 ============ Isa 19:11 The princes of Zoan are mere fools; The advice of Pharaoh's wisest advisers has become stupid. How can you men say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings"? (nasb) Isa 19:11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?(kjv) Isa 19:11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools; Pharaoh's wise counselors give foolish counsel. Please let them tell you, And let them understand what the Lord of hosts Has purposed against Egypt. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. (nasb) Isa 19:21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.(kjv) Isa 19:21 Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 19:22 ============ Isa 19:22 The Lord will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the Lord, and He will respond to them and will heal them.
