(nasb) Eze 15:2 Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?(kjv) Eze 15:2 "Son of man, how is the wood of the vine better than any other wood, the vine branch which is among the trees of the forest?(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:3 ============ Eze 15:3 Can wood be taken from it to make anything, or can men take a peg from it on which to hang any vessel? (nasb) Eze 15:3 Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?(kjv) Eze 15:3 Is wood taken from it to make any object? Or can men make a peg from it to hang any vessel on?(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:4 ============ Eze 15:4 If it has been put into the fire for fuel, and the fire has consumed both of its ends and its middle part has been charred, is it then useful for anything? (nasb) Eze 15:4 Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?(kjv) Eze 15:4 Instead, it is thrown into the fire for fuel; the fire devours both ends of it, and its middle is burned. Is it useful for any work?(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:5 ============ Eze 15:5 Behold, while it is intact, it is not made into anything. How much less, when the fire has consumed it and it is charred, can it still be made into anything! (nasb) Eze 15:5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?(kjv) Eze 15:5 Indeed, when it was whole, no object could be made from it. How much less will it be useful for any work when the fire has devoured it, and it is burned?(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:6 ============ Eze 15:6 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'As the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; (nasb) Eze 15:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.(kjv) Eze 15:6 "Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the inhabitants of Jerusalem;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:7 ============ Eze 15:7 and I set My face against them. Though they have come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them. (nasb) Eze 15:7 And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.(kjv) Eze 15:7 and I will set My face against them. They will go out from one fire, but another fire shall devour them. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 15:8 ============ Eze 15:8 Thus I will make the land desolate, because they have acted unfaithfully, '" declares the Lord God.
