Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.'(nasb) Zch 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.(kjv) Zec 8:3 "Thus says the Lord: 'I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. (nasb) Zch 8:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.(kjv) Zec 8:4 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:5 ============ Zec 8:5 And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.'(nasb) Zch 8:5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.(kjv) Zec 8:5 The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:6 ============ Zec 8:6 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?'declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) Zch 8:6 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.(kjv) Zec 8:6 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?' Says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:7 ============ Zec 8:7 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Behold, I am going to save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west; (nasb) Zch 8:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;(kjv) Zec 8:7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east And from the land of the west;(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:8 ============ Zec 8:8 and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.'(nasb) Zch 8:8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.(kjv) Zec 8:8 I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. (nasb) Zch 8:9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.(kjv) Zec 8:9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the Lord of hosts, That the temple might be built.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:10 ============ Zec 8:10 For before those days there was no wage for man or any wage for animal; and for him who went out or came in there was no peace because of his enemies, and I set all men one against another. (nasb) Zch 8:10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.(kjv) Zec 8:10 For before these days There were no wages for man nor any hire for beast; There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in; For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:11 ============ Zec 8:11 But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days, 'declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) Zch 8:11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.(kjv) Zec 8:11 'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:12 ============ Zec 8:12 'For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things. (nasb) Zch 8:12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.(kjv) Zec 8:12 'For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew-- I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:13 ============ Zec 8:13 It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.'(nasb) Zch 8:13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.(kjv) Zec 8:13 And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:14 ============ Zec 8:14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Just as I purposed to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, 'says the Lord of hosts, 'and I have not relented, (nasb) Zch 8:14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:(kjv) Zec 8:14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Just as I determined to punish you When your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I would not relent,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:15 ============ Zec 8:15 so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear! (nasb) Zch 8:15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.(kjv) Zec 8:15 So again in these days I am determined to do good To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:16 ============ Zec 8:16 These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates. (nasb) Zch 8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:(kjv) Zec 8:16 These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:17 ============ Zec 8:17 Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate, 'declares the Lord."(nasb) Zch 8:17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.(kjv) Zec 8:17 Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. (nasb) Zch 8:20 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:(kjv) Zec 8:20 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities;(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:21 ============ Zec 8:21 The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, "Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts; I will also go."(nasb) Zch 8:21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.(kjv) Zec 8:21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, "Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, And seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also."(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:22 ============ Zec 8:22 So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the Lord.'(nasb) Zch 8:22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.(kjv) Zec 8:22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 8:23 ============ Zec 8:23 Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'" (nasb) Zch 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.(kjv) Zec 8:23 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."
