Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?(nasb-1995) Psa 43:2 ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεός κραταίωμά μου ἵνα τί ἀπώσω με καὶ ἵνα τί σκυθρωπάζων πορεύομαι ἐν τῷ ἐκθλίβειν τὸν ἐχθρόν μου (lxx) Psa 43:2 [Vulgate 42:2] tu enim Deus fortitudo mea quare proiecisti me quare tristis incedo adfligente inimico(Vulgate) Psa 43:2 Denn du bist der Gott meine Stärke; warum verstößest du mich? Warum lässest du mich so traurig gehen, wenn mich mein Feind drängt?(dhs) 2 ׃43 כִּֽי־אַתָּ֤ה ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י מָֽעוּזִּי֮ לָמָ֢ה זְנַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי לָֽמָּה־קֹדֵ֥ר אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ בְּלַ֣חַץ אוֹיֵֽב׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 43:2 For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? (nasb-1995) Psa 43:3 ἐξαπόστειλον τὸ φῶς σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου αὐτά με ὡδήγησαν καὶ ἤγαγόν με εἰς ὄρος ἅγιόν σου καὶ εἰς τὰ σκηνώματά σου (lxx) Psa 43:3 [Vulgate 42:3] mitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam ipsae ducent me et introducent ad montem sanctum tuum et ad tabernaculum tuum(Vulgate) Psa 43:3 Sende dein Licht und deine Wahrheit, daß sie mich leiten und bringen zu deinem heiligen Berg und zu deiner Wohnung,(dhs) 3 ׃43 שְׁלַח־אוֹרְךָ֣ וַ֭אֲמִתְּךָ הֵ֣מָּה יַנְח֑וּנִי יְבִיא֥וּנִי אֶל־הַֽר־קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ וְאֶל־מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 43:3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:4 ============ Psa 43:4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God. (nasb-1995) Psa 43:4 καὶ εἰσελεύσομαι πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὸν εὐφραίνοντα τὴν νεότητά μου ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν κιθάρᾳ ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός μου (lxx) Psa 43:4 [Vulgate 42:4] et introibo ad altare tuum ad Deum laetitiae et exultationis meae et confitebor tibi in cithara Deus Deus meus(Vulgate) Psa 43:4 daß ich hineingehe zum Altar Gottes, zu dem Gott, der meine Freude und Wonne ist, und dir, Gott, auf der Harfe danke, mein Gott.(dhs) 4 ׃43 וְאָב֤וֹאָה ׀ אֶל־מִזְבַּ֬ח אֱלֹהִ֗ים אֶל־אֵל֮ שִׂמְחַ֢ת גִּ֫ילִ֥י וְאוֹדְךָ֥ בְכִנּ֗וֹר אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֱלֹהָֽי׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 43:4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:5 ============ Psa 43:5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. (nasb-1995) Psa 43:5 ἵνα τί περίλυπος εἶ ψυχή καὶ ἵνα τί συνταράσσεις με ἔλπισον ἐπὶ τὸν θεόν ὅτι ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ σωτήριον τοῦ προσώπου μου ὁ θεός μου (lxx) Psa 43:5 [Vulgate 42:5] quare incurvaris anima mea et quare conturbas me expecta Dominum quoniam adhuc confitebor ei salutibus vultus mei et Deo meo(Vulgate) Psa 43:5 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Harre auf Gott! denn ich werde ihm noch danken, daß er meines Angesichts Hilfe und mein Gott ist.(dhs) 5 ׃43 מַה־תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ נַפְשִׁי֮ וּֽמַה־תֶּהֱמִ֢י עָ֫לָ֥י הוֹחִ֣ילִי לֽ͏ֵ֭אלֹהִים כִּי־ע֣וֹד אוֹדֶ֑נּוּ יְשׁוּעֹ֥ת פָּ֝נַ֗י וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
