(nasb-1995) Pro 3:2 μῆκος γὰρ βίου καὶ ἔτη ζωῆς καὶ εἰρήνην προσθήσουσίν σοι (lxx) Pro 3:2 longitudinem enim dierum, et annos vitæ, et pacem, apponent tibi.(Vulgate) Pro 3:2 Denn sie werden dir langes Leben und gute Jahre und Frieden bringen;(dhs) 2 ׃3 כִּ֤י אֹ֣רֶךְ יָ֭מִים וּשְׁנ֣וֹת חַיִּ֑ים וְ֝שָׁל֗וֹם יוֹסִ֥יפוּ לָֽךְ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:2 For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:3 ============ Pro 3:3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. Hänge sie an deinen Hals und schreibe sie auf die Tafel deines Herzens,(dhs) 3 ׃3 חֶ֥סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֗ת אַֽל־יַעַ֫זְבֻ֥ךָ קָשְׁרֵ֥ם עַל־גַּרְגְּרוֹתֶ֑יךָ כָּ֝תְבֵ֗ם עַל־ל֥וּחַ לִבֶּֽךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:4 ============ Pro 3:4 So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:4 καὶ προνοοῦ καλὰ ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἀνθρώπων (lxx) Pro 3:4 et invenies gratiam, et disciplinam bonam, coram Deo et hominibus.(Vulgate) Pro 3:4 so wirst du Gunst und Klugheit finden, die Gott und Menschen gefällt.(dhs) 4 ׃3 וּמְצָא־חֵ֖ן וְשֵֽׂכֶל־ט֑וֹב בְּעֵינֵ֖י אֱלֹהִ֣ים וְאָדָֽם׃ פ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:5 ============ Pro 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:5 ἴσθι πεποιθὼς ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ ἐπὶ θεῷ ἐπὶ δὲ σῇ σοφίᾳ μὴ ἐπαίρου (lxx) Pro 3:5 Habe fiduciam in Domino ex toto corde tuo, et ne innitaris prudentiæ tuæ.(Vulgate) Pro 3:5 Verlaß dich auf den HERRN von ganzem Herzen und verlaß dich nicht auf deinen Verstand;(dhs) 5 ׃3 בְּטַ֣ח אֶל־יְ֭הוָה בְּכָל־לִבֶּ֑ךָ וְאֶל־בִּֽ֝ינָתְךָ֗ אַל־תִּשָּׁעֵֽן׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:6 ============ Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:6 ἐν πάσαις ὁδοῖς σου γνώριζε αὐτήν ἵνα ὀρθοτομῇ τὰς ὁδούς σου ὁ δὲ πούς σου οὐ μὴ προσκόπτῃ (lxx) Pro 3:6 In omnibus viis tuis cogita illum, et ipse diriget gressus tuos.(Vulgate) Pro 3:6 sondern gedenke an ihn in allen deinen Wegen, so wird er dich recht führen.(dhs) 6 ׃3 בְּכָל־דְּרָכֶ֥יךָ דָעֵ֑הוּ וְ֝ה֗וּא יְיַשֵּׁ֥ר אֹֽרְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:7 ============ Pro 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:7 μὴ ἴσθι φρόνιμος παρὰ σεαυτῷ φοβοῦ δὲ τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἔκκλινε ἀπὸ παντὸς κακοῦ (lxx) Pro 3:7 Ne sis sapiens apud temetipsum; time Deum, et recede a malo:(Vulgate) Pro 3:7 Dünke dich nicht, weise zu sein, sondern fürchte den HERRN und weiche vom Bösen.(dhs) 7 ׃3 אַל־תְּהִ֣י חָכָ֣ם בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ יְרָ֥א אֶת־יְ֝הוָ֗ה וְס֣וּר מֵרָֽע׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:8 ============ Pro 3:8 It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:8 τότε ἴασις ἔσται τῷ σώματί σου καὶ ἐπιμέλεια τοῖς ὀστέοις σου (lxx) Pro 3:8 sanitas quippe erit umbilico tuo, et irrigatio ossium tuorum.(Vulgate) Pro 3:8 Das wird deinem Leibe gesund sein und deine Gebeine erquicken.(dhs) 8 ׃3 רִ֭פְאוּת תְּהִ֣י לְשָׁרֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝שִׁקּ֗וּי לְעַצְמוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:9 ============ Pro 3:9 Honor the Lord from your wealth And from the first of all your produce; (nasb-1995) Pro 3:9 τίμα τὸν κύριον ἀπὸ σῶν δικαίων πόνων καὶ ἀπάρχου αὐτῷ ἀπὸ σῶν καρπῶν δικαιοσύνης (lxx) Pro 3:9 Honora Dominum de tua substantia, et de primitiis omnium frugum tuarum da ei:(Vulgate) Pro 3:9 Ehre den HERRN von deinem Gut und von den Erstlingen all deines Einkommens,(dhs) 9 ׃3 כַּבֵּ֣ד אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מֵהוֹנֶ֑ךָ וּ֝מֵרֵאשִׁ֗ית כָּל־תְּבוּאָתֶֽךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:10 ============ Pro 3:10 So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:10 ἵνα πίμπληται τὰ ταμίειά σου πλησμονῆς σίτου οἴνῳ δὲ αἱ ληνοί σου ἐκβλύζωσιν (lxx) Pro 3:10 et implebuntur horrea tua saturitate, et vino torcularia tua redundabunt.]~(Vulgate) Pro 3:10 so werden deine Scheunen voll werden und deine Kelter mit Most übergehen.(dhs) 10 ׃3 וְיִמָּלְא֣וּ אֲסָמֶ֣יךָ שָׂבָ֑ע וְ֝תִיר֗וֹשׁ יְקָבֶ֥יךָ יִפְרֹֽצוּ׃ פ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:11 ============ Pro 3:11 My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord Or loathe His reproof, (nasb-1995) Pro 3:11 υἱέ μὴ ὀλιγώρει παιδείας κυρίου μηδὲ ἐκλύου ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐλεγχόμενος (lxx) Pro 3:11 [Disciplinam Domini, fili mi, ne abjicias, nec deficias cum ab eo corriperis:(Vulgate) Pro 3:11 Mein Kind, verwirf die Zucht des HERRN nicht und sei nicht ungeduldig über seine Strafe.(dhs) 11 ׃3 מוּסַ֣ר יְ֭הוָה בְּנִ֣י אַל־תִּמְאָ֑ס וְאַל־תָּ֝קֹ֗ץ בְּתוֹכַחְתּֽוֹ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:12 ============ Pro 3:12 For whom the Lord loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:12 ὃν γὰρ ἀγαπᾷ κύριος παιδεύει μαστιγοῖ δὲ πάντα υἱὸν ὃν παραδέχεται (lxx) Pro 3:12 quem enim diligit Dominus, corripit, et quasi pater in filio complacet sibi.(Vulgate) Pro 3:12 Denn welchen der HERR liebt, den straft er, und hat doch Wohlgefallen an ihm wie ein Vater am Sohn.(dhs) 12 ׃3 כִּ֤י אֶ֥ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֶאֱהַ֣ב יְהוָ֣ה יוֹכִ֑יחַ וּ֝כְאָ֗ב אֶת־בֵּ֥ן יִרְצֶֽה׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:13 ============ Pro 3:13 How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:13 μακάριος ἄνθρωπος ὃς εὗρεν σοφίαν καὶ θνητὸς ὃς εἶδεν φρόνησιν (lxx) Pro 3:13 Beatus homo qui invenit sapientiam, et qui affluit prudentia.(Vulgate) Pro 3:13 Wohl dem Menschen, der Weisheit findet, und dem Menschen, der Verstand bekommt!(dhs) 13 ׃3 אַשְׁרֵ֣י אָ֭דָם מָצָ֣א חָכְמָ֑ה וְ֝אָדָ֗ם יָפִ֥יק תְּבוּנָֽה׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:14 ============ Pro 3:14 For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:14 κρεῖττον γὰρ αὐτὴν ἐμπορεύεσθαι ἢ χρυσίου καὶ ἀργυρίου θησαυρούς (lxx) Pro 3:14 Melior est acquisitio ejus negotiatione argenti, et auri primi et purissimi fructus ejus.(Vulgate) Pro 3:14 Denn es ist besser, sie zu erwerben, als Silber; denn ihr Ertrag ist besser als Gold.(dhs) 14 ׃3 כִּ֤י ט֣וֹב סַ֭חְרָהּ מִסְּחַר־כָּ֑סֶף וּ֝מֵחָר֗וּץ תְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:15 ============ Pro 3:15 She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:15 τιμιωτέρα δέ ἐστιν λίθων πολυτελῶν οὐκ ἀντιτάξεται αὐτῇ οὐδὲν πονηρόν εὔγνωστός ἐστιν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐγγίζουσιν αὐτῇ πᾶν δὲ τίμιον οὐκ ἄξιον αὐτῆς ἐστιν (lxx) Pro 3:15 Pretiosior est cunctis opibus, et omnia quæ desiderantur huic non valent comparari.(Vulgate) Pro 3:15 Sie ist edler denn Perlen; und alles, was du wünschen magst, ist ihr nicht zu vergleichen.(dhs) 15 ׃3 יְקָ֣רָה הִ֭יא *מפניים **מִפְּנִינִ֑ים וְכָל־חֲ֝פָצֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א יִֽשְׁווּ־בָֽהּ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:15 She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:16 ============ Pro 3:16 Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:18 ξύλον ζωῆς ἐστι πᾶσι τοῖς ἀντεχομένοις αὐτῆς καὶ τοῖς ἐπερειδομένοις ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ὡς ἐπὶ κύριον ἀσφαλής (lxx) Pro 3:18 Lignum vitæ est his qui apprehenderint eam, et qui tenuerit eam beatus.(Vulgate) Pro 3:18 Sie ist ein Baum des Lebens allen, die sie ergreifen; und selig sind, die sie halten.(dhs) 18 ׃3 עֵץ־חַיִּ֣ים הִ֭יא לַמַּחֲזִיקִ֣ים בָּ֑הּ וְֽתֹמְכֶ֥יהָ מְאֻשָּֽׁר׃ פ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:19 ============ Pro 3:19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:19 ὁ θεὸς τῇ σοφίᾳ ἐθεμελίωσεν τὴν γῆν ἡτοίμασεν δὲ οὐρανοὺς ἐν φρονήσει (lxx) Pro 3:19 Dominus sapientia fundavit terram; stabilivit cælos prudentia.(Vulgate) Pro 3:19 Denn der HERR hat die Erde durch Weisheit gegründet und durch seinen Rat die Himmel bereitet.(dhs) 19 ׃3 יְֽהוָ֗ה בְּחָכְמָ֥ה יָֽסַד־אָ֑רֶץ כּוֹנֵ֥ן שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם בִּתְבוּנָֽה׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:20 ============ Pro 3:20 By His knowledge the deeps were broken up And the skies drip with dew. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:20 ἐν αἰσθήσει ἄβυσσοι ἐρράγησαν νέφη δὲ ἐρρύησαν δρόσους (lxx) Pro 3:20 Sapientia illius eruperunt abyssi, et nubes rore concrescunt.]~(Vulgate) Pro 3:20 Durch seine Weisheit sind die Tiefen zerteilt und die Wolken mit Tau triefend gemacht.(dhs) 20 ׃3 בְּ֭דַעְתּוֹ תְּהוֹמ֣וֹת נִבְקָ֑עוּ וּ֝שְׁחָקִ֗ים יִרְעֲפוּ־טָֽל׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:20 By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down the dew.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:21 ============ Pro 3:21 My son, let them not vanish from your sight; Keep sound wisdom and discretion, (nasb-1995) Pro 3:21 υἱέ μὴ παραρρυῇς τήρησον δὲ ἐμὴν βουλὴν καὶ ἔννοιαν (lxx) Pro 3:21 [Fili mi, ne effluant hæc ab oculis tuis. Custodi legem atque consilium,(Vulgate) Pro 3:21 Mein Kind, laß sie nicht von deinen Augen weichen, so wirst du glückselig und klug werden.(dhs) 21 ׃3 בְּ֭נִי אַל־יָלֻ֣זוּ מֵעֵינֶ֑יךָ נְצֹ֥ר תֻּ֝שִׁיָּ֗ה וּמְזִמָּֽה׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes-- Keep sound wisdom and discretion;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:22 ============ Pro 3:22 So they will be life to your soul And adornment to your neck. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:22 ἵνα ζήσῃ ἡ ψυχή σου καὶ χάρις ᾖ περὶ σῷ τραχήλῳ Pro 3:22 et erit vita animæ tuæ, et gratia faucibus tuis.(Vulgate) Pro 3:22 Das wird deiner Seele Leben sein und ein Schmuck deinem Halse.(dhs) 22 ׃3 וְיִֽהְי֣וּ חַיִּ֣ים לְנַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ וְ֝חֵ֗ן לְגַרְגְּרֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:22 So they will be life to your soul And grace to your neck.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:23 ============ Pro 3:23 Then you will walk in your way securely And your foot will not stumble. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:23 ἵνα πορεύῃ πεποιθὼς ἐν εἰρήνῃ πάσας τὰς ὁδούς σου ὁ δὲ πούς σου οὐ μὴ προσκόψῃ (lxx) Pro 3:23 Tunc ambulabis fiducialiter in via tua, et pes tuus non impinget.(Vulgate) Pro 3:23 Dann wirst du sicher wandeln auf deinem Wege, daß dein Fuß sich nicht stoßen wird.(dhs) 23 ׃3 אָ֤ז תֵּלֵ֣ךְ לָבֶ֣טַח דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝רַגְלְךָ֗ לֹ֣א תִגּֽוֹף׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:23 Then you will walk safely in your way, And your foot will not stumble.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:24 ============ Pro 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:24 ἐὰν γὰρ κάθῃ ἄφοβος ἔσῃ ἐὰν δὲ καθεύδῃς ἡδέως ὑπνώσεις (lxx) Pro 3:24 Si dormieris, non timebis; quiesces, et suavis erit somnus tuus.(Vulgate) Pro 3:24 Legst du dich, so wirst du dich nicht fürchten, sondern süß schlafen,(dhs) 24 ׃3 אִם־תִּשְׁכַּ֥ב לֹֽא־תִפְחָ֑ד וְ֝שָׁכַבְתָּ֗ וְֽעָרְבָ֥ה שְׁנָתֶֽךָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:25 ============ Pro 3:25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; (nasb-1995) Pro 3:25 καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσῃ πτόησιν ἐπελθοῦσαν οὐδὲ ὁρμὰς ἀσεβῶν ἐπερχομένας (lxx) Pro 3:25 Ne paveas repentino terrore, et irruentes tibi potentias impiorum.(Vulgate) Pro 3:25 daß du dich nicht fürchten darfst vor plötzlichem Schrecken noch vor dem Sturm der Gottlosen, wenn er kommt.(dhs) 25 ׃3 אַל־תִּ֭ירָא מִפַּ֣חַד פִּתְאֹ֑ם וּמִשֹּׁאַ֥ת רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים כִּ֣י תָבֹֽא׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:26 ============ Pro 3:26 For the Lord will be your confidence And will keep your foot from being caught. (nasb-1995) Pro 3:26 ὁ γὰρ κύριος ἔσται ἐπὶ πασῶν ὁδῶν σου καὶ ἐρείσει σὸν πόδα ἵνα μὴ σαλευθῇς (lxx) Pro 3:26 Dominus enim erit in latere tuo, et custodiet pedem tuum, ne capiaris.]~(Vulgate) Pro 3:26 Denn der HERR ist dein Trotz; der behütet deinen Fuß, daß er nicht gefangen werde.(dhs) 26 ׃3 כִּֽי־יְ֭הוָה יִהְיֶ֣ה בְכִסְלֶ֑ךָ וְשָׁמַ֖ר רַגְלְךָ֣ מִלָּֽכֶד׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 3:26 For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 3:27 ============ Pro 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
