(nasb-1995) Pro 7:10 ἡ δὲ γυνὴ συναντᾷ αὐτῷ εἶδος ἔχουσα πορνικόν ἣ ποιεῖ νέων ἐξίπτασθαι καρδίας (lxx) Pro 7:10 Et ecce occurrit illi mulier ornatu meretricio, præparata ad capiendas animas: garrula et vaga,(Vulgate) Pro 7:10 Und siehe, da begegnete ihm ein Weib im Hurenschmuck, listig,(dhs) 10 ׃7 וְהִנֵּ֣ה אִ֭שָּׁה לִקְרָאת֑וֹ שִׁ֥ית ז֝וֹנָ֗ה וּנְצֻ֥רַת לֵֽב׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:10 And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:11 ============ Pro 7:11 She is boisterous and rebellious, Her feet do not remain at home; (nasb-1995) Pro 7:11 ἀνεπτερωμένη δέ ἐστιν καὶ ἄσωτος ἐν οἴκῳ δὲ οὐχ ἡσυχάζουσιν οἱ πόδες αὐτῆς (lxx) Pro 7:11 quietis impatiens, nec valens in domo consistere pedibus suis;(Vulgate) Pro 7:11 wild und unbändig, daß ihr Füße in ihrem Hause nicht bleiben können.(dhs) 11 ׃7 הֹמִיָּ֣ה הִ֣יא וְסֹרָ֑רֶת בְּ֝בֵיתָ֗הּ לֹא־יִשְׁכְּנ֥וּ רַגְלֶֽיהָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:11 She was loud and rebellious, Her feet would not stay at home.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:12 ============ Pro 7:12 She is now in the streets, now in the squares, And lurks by every corner. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:12 χρόνον γάρ τινα ἔξω ῥέμβεται χρόνον δὲ ἐν πλατείαις παρὰ πᾶσαν γωνίαν ἐνεδρεύει (lxx) Pro 7:12 nunc foris, nunc in plateis, nunc juxta angulos insidians.(Vulgate) Pro 7:12 Jetzt ist sie draußen, jetzt auf der Gasse, und lauert an allen Ecken.(dhs) 12 ׃7 פַּ֤עַם ׀ בַּח֗וּץ פַּ֥עַם בָּרְחֹב֑וֹת וְאֵ֖צֶל כָּל־פִּנָּ֣ה תֶאֱרֹֽב׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:12 At times she was outside, at times in the open square, Lurking at every corner.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:13 ============ Pro 7:13 So she seizes him and kisses him And with a brazen face she says to him: (nasb-1995) Pro 7:13 εἶτα ἐπιλαβομένη ἐφίλησεν αὐτόν ἀναιδεῖ δὲ προσώπῳ προσεῖπεν αὐτῷ (lxx) Pro 7:13 Apprehensumque deosculatur juvenem, et procaci vultu blanditur, dicens:(Vulgate) Pro 7:13 Und erwischte ihn und küßte ihn unverschämt und sprach zu ihm:(dhs) 13 ׃7 וְהֶחֱזִ֣יקָה־בּ֭וֹ וְנָ֣שְׁקָה־לּ֑וֹ הֵעֵ֥זָה פָ֝נֶ֗יהָ וַתֹּ֣אמַר לֽוֹ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:13 So she caught him and kissed him; With an impudent face she said to him:(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:14 ============ Pro 7:14 "I was due to offer peace offerings; Today I have paid my vows. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:14 θυσία εἰρηνική μοί ἐστιν σήμερον ἀποδίδωμι τὰς εὐχάς μου (lxx) Pro 7:14 Victimas pro salute vovi; hodie reddidi vota mea:(Vulgate) Pro 7:14 Ich habe Dankopfer für mich heute bezahlt für meine Gelübde.(dhs) 14 ׃7 זִבְחֵ֣י שְׁלָמִ֣ים עָלָ֑י הַ֝יּ֗וֹם שִׁלַּ֥מְתִּי נְדָרָֽי׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:14 "I have peace offerings with me; Today I have paid my vows.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:15 ============ Pro 7:15 "Therefore I have come out to meet you, To seek your presence earnestly, and I have found you. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:15 ἕνεκα τούτου ἐξῆλθον εἰς συνάντησίν σοι ποθοῦσα τὸ σὸν πρόσωπον εὕρηκά σε (lxx) Pro 7:15 idcirco egressa sum in occursum tuum, desiderans te videre, et reperi.(Vulgate) Pro 7:15 Darum bin herausgegangen, dir zu begegnen, dein Angesicht zu suchen, und habe dich gefunden.(dhs) 15 ׃7 עַל־כֵּ֭ן יָצָ֣אתִי לִקְרָאתֶ֑ךָ לְשַׁחֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וָאֶמְצָאֶֽךָּ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:15 So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:16 ============ Pro 7:16 "I have spread my couch with coverings, With colored linens of Egypt. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:17 διέρραγκα τὴν κοίτην μου κρόκῳ τὸν δὲ οἶκόν μου κινναμώμῳ (lxx) Pro 7:17 aspersi cubile meum myrrha, et aloë, et cinnamomo.(Vulgate) Pro 7:17 Ich habe mein Lager mit Myrrhe, Aloe und Zimt besprengt.(dhs) 17 ׃7 נַ֥פְתִּי מִשְׁכָּבִ֑י מֹ֥ר אֲ֝הָלִ֗ים וְקִנָּמֽוֹן׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:17 I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:18 ============ Pro 7:18 "Come, let us drink our fill of love until morning; Let us delight ourselves with caresses. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:21 ἀπεπλάνησεν δὲ αὐτὸν πολλῇ ὁμιλίᾳ βρόχοις τε τοῖς ἀπὸ χειλέων ἐξώκειλεν αὐτόν (lxx) Pro 7:21 Irretivit eum multis sermonibus, et blanditiis labiorum protraxit illum.(Vulgate) Pro 7:21 Sie überredete ihn mit vielen Worten und gewann ihn mit ihrem glatten Munde.(dhs) 21 ׃7 הִ֭טַּתּוּ בְּרֹ֣ב לִקְחָ֑הּ בְּחֵ֥לֶק שְׂ֝פָתֶ֗יהָ תַּדִּיחֶֽנּוּ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:21 With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, With her flattering lips she seduced him.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:22 ============ Pro 7:22 Suddenly he follows her As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as one in fetters to the discipline of a fool, (nasb-1995) Pro 7:22 ὁ δὲ ἐπηκολούθησεν αὐτῇ κεπφωθείς ὥσπερ δὲ βοῦς ἐπὶ σφαγὴν ἄγεται καὶ ὥσπερ κύων ἐπὶ δεσμοὺς (lxx) Pro 7:22 Statim eam sequitur quasi bos ductus ad victimam, et quasi agnus lasciviens, et ignorans quod ad vincula stultus trahatur:(Vulgate) Pro 7:22 Er folgt ihr alsbald nach, wie ein Ochse zur Fleischbank geführt wird, und wie zur Fessel, womit man die Narren züchtigt,(dhs) 22 ׃7 ה֤וֹלֵ֥ךְ אַחֲרֶ֗יהָ פִּ֫תְאֹ֥ם כְּ֭שׁוֹר אֶל־טֶ֣בַח יָב֑וֹא וּ֝כְעֶ֗כֶס אֶל־מוּסַ֥ר אֱוֽ͏ִיל׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:22 Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks,(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:23 ============ Pro 7:23 Until an arrow pierces through his liver; As a bird hastens to the snare, So he does not know that it will cost him his life. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:23 ἢ ὡς ἔλαφος τοξεύματι πεπληγὼς εἰς τὸ ἧπαρ σπεύδει δὲ ὥσπερ ὄρνεον εἰς παγίδα οὐκ εἰδὼς ὅτι περὶ ψυχῆς τρέχει (lxx) Pro 7:23 donec transfigat sagitta jecur ejus, velut si avis festinet ad laqueum, et nescit quod de periculo animæ illius agitur.(Vulgate) Pro 7:23 bis sie ihm mit dem Pfeil die Leber spaltet; wie ein Vogel zum Strick eilt und weiß nicht, daß es ihm sein Leben gilt.(dhs) 23 ׃7 עַ֤ד יְפַלַּ֪ח חֵ֡ץ כְּֽבֵד֗וֹ כְּמַהֵ֣ר צִפּ֣וֹר אֶל־פָּ֑ח וְלֹֽא־יָ֝דַ֗ע כִּֽי־בְנַפְשׁ֥וֹ הֽוּא׃ פ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:23 Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:24 ============ Pro 7:24 Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, And pay attention to the words of my mouth. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:24 νῦν οὖν υἱέ ἄκουέ μου καὶ πρόσεχε ῥήμασιν στόματός μου (lxx) Pro 7:24 Nunc ergo, fili mi, audi me, et attende verbis oris mei.(Vulgate) Pro 7:24 So gehorchet mir nun, meine Kinder, und merket auf die Rede meines Mundes.(dhs) 24 ׃7 וְעַתָּ֣ה בָ֭נִים שִׁמְעוּ־לִ֑י וְ֝הַקְשִׁ֗יבוּ לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:24 Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth:(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:25 ============ Pro 7:25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:25 μὴ ἐκκλινάτω εἰς τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτῆς ἡ καρδία σου (lxx) Pro 7:25 Ne abstrahatur in viis illius mens tua, neque decipiaris semitis ejus;(Vulgate) Pro 7:25 Laß dein Herz nicht weichen auf ihren Weg und laß dich nicht verführen auf ihrer Bahn.(dhs) 25 ׃7 אַל־יֵ֣שְׂטְ אֶל־דְּרָכֶ֣יהָ לִבֶּ֑ךָ אַל־תֵּ֝תַע בִּנְתִיבוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:26 ============ Pro 7:26 For many are the victims she has cast down, And numerous are all her slain. (nasb-1995) Pro 7:26 πολλοὺς γὰρ τρώσασα καταβέβληκεν καὶ ἀναρίθμητοί εἰσιν οὓς πεφόνευκεν (lxx) Pro 7:26 multos enim vulneratos dejecit, et fortissimi quique interfecti sunt ab ea.(Vulgate) Pro 7:26 Denn sie hat viele verwundet und gefällt, und sind allerlei Mächtige von ihr erwürgt.(dhs) 26 ׃7 כִּֽי־רַבִּ֣ים חֲלָלִ֣ים הִפִּ֑ילָה וַ֝עֲצֻמִ֗ים כָּל־הֲרֻגֶֽיהָ׃ Proverbs-(Hebrew) Pro 7:26 For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 7:27 ============ Pro 7:27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Descending to the chambers of death.
