So she brought him into her father's house; and when the father of the young woman saw him, he was glad to meet him.(NKJV) Jdg 19:3 Und ihr Mann machte sich auf und zog ihr nach, daß er freundlich mit ihr redete und sie wieder zu sich holte; und hatte einen Knecht und ein Paar Esel mit sich. Und sie führte ihn in ihres Vaters Haus. Da ihn aber der Vater der Dirne sah, ward er froh und empfing ihn.(DE) Richtere 19:3 En haar man maakte zich op, en toog haar na, om naar haar hart te spreken, om haar weder te halen; en zijn jongen was bij hem, en een paar ezels. En zij bracht hem in het huis haars vaders. En als de vader van de jonge vrouw hem zag, werd hij vrolijk over zijn ontmoeting.(NL) Judges 19:3 Ja hänen miehensä matkusti hänen peräänsä, puhuttelemaan häntä ystävällisesti ja palauttamaan tykönsä. Ja hänellä oli palvelia ja kaksi aasia myötänsä. Ja hän vei hänen isänsä huoneesen. Quod cum audisset socer ejus, eumque vidisset, occurrit ei lætus,(Latin) Jdg 19:3 καὶ ἀνέστη ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὀπίσω αὐτῆς τοῦ λαλῆσαι ἐπὶ καρδίαν αὐτῆς τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι αὐτὴν αὐτῷ καὶ νεανίας αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ζεῦγος ὄνων καὶ ἥδε εἰσήνεγκεν αὐτὸν εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ εἶδεν αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος καὶ ηὐφράνθη εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοῦ(GR-lxx) Judges 19:3 And her husband arose and went after her, to speake friendly vnto her, and to bring her againe: he had also his seruant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him vnto her fathers house, and when the yong womans father sawe him, he reioyced of his coming.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:4 ============ Jdg 19:4 Now his father-in-law, the young woman's father, detained him; and he stayed with him three days. Da sprach der Dirne Vater zu seinem Eidam: Labe dein Herz zuvor mit einem Bissen Brot, darnach sollt ihr ziehen.(DE) Richtere 19:5 Op den vierden dag nu geschiedde het, dat zij des morgens vroeg op waren, en hij opstond om weg te trekken; toen zeide de vader van de jonge dochter tot zijn schoonzoon: Sterk uw hart met een bete broods, en daarna zult gijlieden wegtrekken.(NL) Judges 19:5 Neljäntenä päivänä olivat he varhain ylhäällä, ja hän nousi ja tahtoi matkaan lähteä, niin sanoi vaimon isä vävyllensä: vahvista sydämes leivän palalla, ja menkäät sitte.(FI) Jdg 19:5 Die autem quarto de nocte consurgens, proficisci voluit: quem tenuit socer, et ait ad eum: Gusta prius pauxillum panis, et conforta stomachum, et sic proficisceris.(Latin) Jdg 19:5 καὶ ἐγένετο τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τετάρτῃ καὶ ὤρθρισαν τὸ πρωί καὶ ἀνέστη τοῦ πορευθῆναι καὶ εἶπεν ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος πρὸς τὸν νυμφίον αὐτοῦ στήρισόν σου τὴν καρδίαν ψωμῷ ἄρτου καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο πορεύσεσθε(GR-lxx) Judges 19:5 And when the fourth day came, they arose earely in the morning, and he prepared to depart: then the yong womans father said vnto his sonne in lawe, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and then go your way.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:6 ============ Jdg 19:6 So they sat down, and the two of them ate and drank together. Then the young woman's father said to the man, "Please be content to stay all night, and let your heart be merry."(NKJV) Jdg 19:6 Und sie setzten sich und aßen beide miteinander und tranken. Da sprach der Dirne Vater zu dem Mann: Bleib doch über Nacht und laß dein Herz guter Dinge sein.(DE) Richtere 19:6 Zo zaten zij neder, en zij beiden aten te zamen, en dronken. Toen zeide de vader van de jonge vrouw tot den man: Bewillig toch en vernacht, en laat uw hart vrolijk zijn.(NL) Judges 19:6 Ja he istuivat, söivät ja joivat toinen toisensa kanssa. Niin sanoi vaimon isä hänelle: ole tässä yötä, ja iloita sydämes.(FI) Jdg 19:6 Sederuntque simul, ac comederunt et biberunt. Dixitque pater puellæ ad generum suum: Quæso te ut hodie hic maneas, pariterque lætemur.(Latin) Jdg 19:6 καὶ ἐκάθισεν καὶ ἔφαγον οἱ δύο ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ ἔπιον καὶ εἶπεν ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα ἄγε δὴ αὐλίσθητι καὶ ἀγαθυνθήσεται ἡ καρδία σου(GR-lxx) Judges 19:6 So they sate downe, and did eate & drinke both of them together; the yong womans father said vnto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and tary all night, and let thine heart be mery.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:7 ============ Jdg 19:7 And when the man stood to depart, his father-in-law urged him; so he lodged there again.(NKJV) Jdg 19:7 Da aber der Mann aufstand und wollte ziehen, nötigte ihn sein Schwiegervater, daß er über Nacht dablieb.(DE) Richtere 19:7 Maar de man stond op, om weg te trekken. Toen drong hem zijn schoonvader, dat hij aldaar wederom vernachtte.(NL) Judges 19:7 Mutta hän nousi vaeltamaan, vaan hänen appensa vaati häntä, että hän oli siinä sen yön.(FI) Jdg 19:7 At ille consurgens, cœpit velle proficisci. Et nihilominus obnixe eum socer tenuit, et apud se fecit manere.(Latin) Jdg 19:7 καὶ ἀνέστη ὁ ἀνὴρ τοῦ πορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐβιάσατο αὐτὸν ὁ γαμβρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκάθισεν καὶ ηὐλίσθη ἐκεῖ(GR-lxx) Judges 19:7 And when the man rose vp to depart, his father in lawe was earnest: therefore he returned, and lodged there.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:8 ============ Jdg 19:8 Then he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart, but the young woman's father said, "Please refresh your heart." So they delayed until afternoon; and both of them ate.(NKJV) Jdg 19:8 Des Morgens am fünften Tage machte er sich früh auf und wollte ziehen. Da sprach der Dirne Vater: Labe doch dein Herz und laß uns verziehen, bis sich der Tag neigt. Und aßen also die beiden miteinander.(DE) Richtere 19:8 Als hij op den vijfden dag des morgens vroeg op was, om weg te trekken, zo zeide de vader van de jonge vrouw: Sterk toch uw hart. En zij vertoefden, totdat de dag zich neigde; en zij beiden aten te zamen.(NL) Judges 19:8 Viidentenä päivänä oli hän aamulla varhain ylhäällä vaeltamaan, ja vaimon isä sanoi: virvoita sydämes, ja hän viivytti hänen siihenasti että päivä kului, ja he söivät toinen toisensa kanssa.(FI) Jdg 19:8 Mane autem facto, parabat Levites iter. Cui socer rursum: Oro te, inquit, ut paululum cibi capias, et assumptis viribus donec increscat dies, postea proficiscaris. Comederunt ergo simul.(Latin) Jdg 19:8 καὶ ὤρθρισεν τὸ πρωὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πέμπτῃ τοῦ πορευθῆναι καὶ εἶπεν ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος στήρισον δὴ τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ στράτευσον ἕως κλῖναι τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ἔφαγον οἱ δύο(GR-lxx) Judges 19:8 And he arose vp earely the fifth day to depart, and the yong womans father saide, Comfort thine heart, I pray thee: and they taryed vntill after midday, and they both did eate.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:9 ============ Jdg 19:9 And when the man stood to depart--he and his concubine and his servant--his father-in-law, the young woman's father, said to him, "Look, the day is now drawing toward evening; please spend the night. See, the day is coming to an end; lodge here, that your heart may be merry. Tomorrow go your way early, so that you may get home."(NKJV) Jdg 19:9 Und der Mann machte sich auf und wollte ziehen mit seinem Kebsweib und mit seinem Knechte. Aber sein Schwiegervater, der Dirne Vater, sprach zu ihm: Siehe, der Tag hat sich geneigt, und es will Abend werden; bleib über Nacht. Siehe, hier ist Herberge noch diesen Tag; bleibe hier über Nacht und laß dein Herz guter Dinge sein. Morgen steht ihr früh auf und zieht eures Weges zu deiner Hütte.(DE) Richtere 19:9 Toen maakte de man zich op, om weg te trekken, hij, en zijn bijwijf, en zijn jongen; en zijn schoonvader, de vader van de jonge vrouw, zeide: Zie toch, de dag heeft afgenomen, dat het avond zal worden, vernacht toch; zie, de dag legert zich, vernacht hier, en laat uw hart vrolijk zijn, en maak u morgen vroeg op uws weegs, en ga naar uw tent.(NL) Judges 19:9 Ja mies nousi lähtemään matkaan jalkavaimonsa ja palveliansa kanssa, mutta hänen appensa, vaimon isä, sanoi hänelle: katsos, päivä on kulunut ja ehtoo on käsissä, olkaat tässä yötä; katso, tässä on sinulla oltava vielä nyt tämä päivä, ole tässä yö, että sydämes tulis iloiseksi. Cui rursum locutus est socer: Considera quod dies ad occasum declivior sit, et propinquat ad vesperum: mane apud me etiam hodie, et duc lætum diem, et cras proficisceris ut vadas in domum tuam.(Latin) Jdg 19:9 καὶ ἀνέστη ὁ ἀνὴρ τοῦ πορευθῆναι αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ νεανίας αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ γαμβρὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πατὴρ τῆς νεάνιδος ἰδοὺ δὴ ἠσθένησεν ἡ ἡμέρα εἰς τὴν ἑσπέραν αὐλίσθητι ὧδε καὶ ἀγαθυνθήσεται ἡ καρδία σου καὶ ὀρθριεῖτε αὔριον εἰς ὁδὸν ὑμῶν καὶ πορεύσῃ εἰς τὸ σκήνωμά σου(GR-lxx) Judges 19:9 Afterwarde when the man arose to depart with his concubine and his seruant, his father in lawe, the yong womans father said vnto him, Beholde nowe, the day draweth towarde euen: I pray you, tary all night: beholde, the sunne goeth to rest: lodge here, that thine heart may be merie, and to morowe get you earely vpon your way, and goe to thy tent.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:10 ============ Jdg 19:10 However, the man was not willing to spend that night; so he rose and departed, and came to opposite Jebus (that is, Jerusalem). With him were the two saddled donkeys; his concubine was also with him.(NKJV) Jdg 19:10 Aber der Mann wollte nicht über Nacht bleiben, sondern machte sich auf und zog hin und kam bis vor Jebus, das ist Jerusalem, und sein Paar Esel beladen und sein Kebsweib mit ihm.(DE) Richtere 19:10 Doch de man wilde niet vernachten, maar stond op, en trok weg, en kwam tot tegenover Jebus (dewelke is Jeruzalem), en met hem het paar gezadelde ezelen; ook was zijn bijwijf met hem.(NL) Judges 19:10 Mutta ei mies ollut yötä, vaan nousi ja meni matkaansa, ja lähestyi Jebusta, se on Jerusalem, ja kaksi hänen aasiansa kannattaen kuormaa, ja hänen jalkavaimonsa hänen kanssansa.(FI) Jdg 19:10 Noluit gener acquiescere sermonibus ejus: sed statim perrexit, et venit contra Jebus, quæ altero nomine vocatur Jerusalem, ducens secum duos asinos onustos, et concubinam.~(Latin) Jdg 19:10 καὶ οὐκ εὐδόκησεν ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐλισθῆναι καὶ ἀνέστη καὶ ἀπῆλθεν καὶ ἦλθεν ἕως ἀπέναντι Ιεβους αὕτη ἐστὶν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ ζεῦγος ὄνων ἐπισεσαγμένων καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ(GR-lxx) Judges 19:10 But the man would not tarry, but arose & departed, and came ouer against Iebus, (which is Ierusalem) and his two asses laden, and his concubine were with him.(GB-Geneva) ======= Judges 19:11 ============ Jdg 19:11 They were near Jebus, and the day was far spent; and the servant said to his master, "Come, please, and let us turn aside into this city of the Jebusites and lodge in it."(NKJV) Jdg 19:11 Da sie nun nahe bei Jebus kamen, sank der Tag sehr dahin.
