And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons.(NKJV) Rut 1:1 Zu der Zeit, da die Richter regierten, ward eine Teuerung im Lande. And they went to the country of Moab and remained there.(NKJV) Rut 1:2 Der hieß Elimelech und sein Weib Naemi und seine zwei Söhne Mahlon und Chiljon; die waren Ephrather von Bethlehem-Juda. Und da sie kamen ins Land der Moabiter, blieben sie daselbst.(DE) Ruth 1:2 De naam nu dezes mans was Elimelech, en de naam zijner huisvrouw Naomi, en de naam zijner twee zonen Machlon en Chiljon, Efrathers, van Bethlehem-Juda; en zij kwamen in de velden Moabs, en bleven aldaar.(NL) Ruth 1:2 Hänen nimensä oli EliMelek, ja hänen emäntänsä nimi Noomi, ja hänen kahden poikansa nimi Mahlon ja Kiljon, he olivat Ephratilaisia Juudan Betlehemistä. And they dwelt there about ten years.(NKJV) Rut 1:4 Die nahmen moabitische Weiber; eine hieß Orpa, die andere Rut Und da sie daselbst gewohnt hatten ungefähr zehn Jahre,(DE) Ruth 1:4 Die namen zich Moabietische vrouwen; de naam der ene was Orpa, en de naam der andere Ruth; en zij bleven aldaar omtrent tien jaren.(NL) Ruth 1:4 He naivat Moabilaisia vaimoja: yhden nimi oli Orpa ja toisen nimi Ruut, ja asuivat siellä liki kymmenen ajastaikaa.(FI) Rut 1:4 Qui acceperunt uxores Moabitidas, quarum una vocabatur Orpha, altera vero Ruth. Manseruntque ibi decem annis,(Latin) Rut 1:4 καὶ ἐλάβοσαν ἑαυτοῖς γυναῖκας Μωαβίτιδας ὄνομα τῇ μιᾷ Ορφα καὶ ὄνομα τῇ δευτέρᾳ Ρουθ καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐκεῖ ὡς δέκα ἔτη(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:4 Which tooke them wiues of the Moabites: the ones name was Orpah, & the name of ye other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten yeeres.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:5 ============ Rut 1:5 Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died; so the woman survived her two sons and her husband.(NKJV) Rut 1:5 starben sie alle beide, Mahlon und Chiljon, daß das Weib überlebte beide Söhne und ihren Mann.(DE) Ruth 1:5 En die twee, Machlon en Chiljon, stierven ook; alzo werd deze vrouw overgelaten na haar twee zonen en na haar man.(NL) Ruth 1:5 Ja kuolivat nekin molemmat, sekä Mahlon että Kiljon, ja se vaimo jäi jälkeen kahdesta pojastansa ja miehestänsä.(FI) Rut 1:5 et ambo mortui sunt, Mahalon videlicet et Chelion: remansitque mulier orbata duobus liberis ac marito.(Latin) Rut 1:5 καὶ ἀπέθανον καί γε ἀμφότεροι Μααλων καὶ Χελαιων καὶ κατελείφθη ἡ γυνὴ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν δύο υἱῶν αὐτῆς(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:5 And Mahlon and Chilion dyed also both twaine: so the woman was left destitute of her two sonnes, and of her husband.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:6 ============ Rut 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters-in-law that she might return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in the country of Moab that the Lord had visited His people by giving them bread.(NKJV) Rut 1:6 Da machte sie sich auf mit ihren zwei Schwiegertöchtern und zog wieder aus der Moabiter Lande; denn sie hatte erfahren im Moabiterlande, daß der HERR sein Volk hatte heimgesucht und ihnen Brot gegeben.(DE) Ruth 1:6 Toen maakte zij zich op met haar schoondochters, en keerde weder uit de velden van Moab; want zij had gehoord in het land van Moab, dat de HEERE Zijn volk bezocht had, gevende hun brood.(NL) Ruth 1:6 Ja hän nousi miniöinensä ja palasi Moabilaisten maalta; sillä hän oli Moabilaisten maalla ollessansa kuullut, että Herra oli etsinyt kansaansa ja antanut heille leipää.(FI) Rut 1:6 Et surrexit ut in patriam pergeret cum utraque nuru sua de regione Moabitide: audierat enim quod respexisset Dominus populum suum, et dedisset eis escas.~(Latin) Rut 1:6 καὶ ἀνέστη αὐτὴ καὶ αἱ δύο νύμφαι αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν ἐξ ἀγροῦ Μωαβ ὅτι ἤκουσαν ἐν ἀγρῷ Μωαβ ὅτι ἐπέσκεπται κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς ἄρτους(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, and returned from the countrey of Moab: for she had heard say in the countrey of Moab, that the Lord had visited his people, and giuen them bread.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:7 ============ Rut 1:7 Therefore she went out from the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.(NKJV) Rut 1:7 Und sie ging aus von dem Ort, da sie gewesen war, und ihre beiden Schwiegertöchter mit ihr. Und da sie ging auf dem Wege, daß sie wiederkäme ins Land Juda,(DE) Ruth 1:7 Daarom ging zij uit van de plaats, waar zij geweest was en haar twee schoondochters met haar. Als zij nu gingen op den weg, om weder te keren naar het land van Juda,(NL) Ruth 1:7 Ja hän läksi pois siitä paikasta, jossa hän oli ollut, molempain miniöinsä kanssa; ja kuin he matkustivat tiellä palataksensa Juudan maalle,(FI) Rut 1:7 Egressa est itaque de loco peregrinationis suæ, cum utraque nuru: et jam in via revertendi posita in terram Juda,(Latin) Rut 1:7 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ τοῦ τόπου οὗ ἦν ἐκεῖ καὶ αἱ δύο νύμφαι αὐτῆς μετ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπορεύοντο ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι εἰς τὴν γῆν Ιουδα(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:7 Wherefore shee departed out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her, and they went on their way to returne vnto the land of Iudah.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:8 ============ Rut 1:8 And Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, "Go, return each to her mother's house. The Lord deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me.(NKJV) Rut 1:8 sprach sie zu ihren beiden Schwiegertöchtern: Geht hin und kehrt um, eine jegliche zu ihrer Mutter Haus. Der HERR tue an euch Barmherzigkeit, wie ihr an den Toten und mir getan habt!(DE) Ruth 1:8 Zo zeide Naomi tot haar twee schoondochters: Gaat heen, keert weder, een iegelijk tot het huis van haar moeder; de HEERE doe bij u weldadigheid, gelijk als gij gedaan hebt bij de doden, en bij mij.(NL) Ruth 1:8 Sanoi Noomi kahdelle miniällensä: menkäät ja palatkaat kukin teidän äitinne huoneesen: tehköön Herra teille laupiuden, niinkuin te olette niille kuolleille ja minulle tehneet!(FI) Rut 1:8 dixit ad eas: Ite in domum matris vestræ: faciat vobiscum Dominus misericordiam, sicut fecistis cum mortuis, et mecum.(Latin) Rut 1:8 καὶ εἶπεν Νωεμιν ταῖς νύμφαις αὐτῆς πορεύεσθε δὴ ἀποστράφητε ἑκάστη εἰς οἶκον μητρὸς αὐτῆς ποιήσαι κύριος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἔλεος καθὼς ἐποιήσατε μετὰ τῶν τεθνηκότων καὶ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:8 Then Naomi saide vnto her two daughters in lawe, Goe, returne eche of you vnto her owne mothers house: the Lord shew fauour vnto you, as ye haue done with the dead, and with me.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:9 ============ Rut 1:9 The Lord grant that you may find rest, each in the house of her husband." Then she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept.(NKJV) Rut 1:9 Der HERR gebe euch, daß ihr Ruhe findet, eine jegliche in ihres Mannes Hause! Und küßte sie. Da hoben sie ihre Stimmen auf und weinten(DE) Ruth 1:9 De HEERE geve u, dat gij ruste vindt, een iegelijk in het huis van haar man! En als zij haar kuste, hieven zij haar stem op en weenden;(NL) Ruth 1:9 Herra antakoon teidän kummankin löytää levon miehensä huoneessa! Ja hän suuta antoi heidän, ja he korottivat äänensä ja itkivät,(FI) Rut 1:9 Det vobis invenire requiem in domibus virorum quos sortituræ estis. Et osculata est eas. Are there still sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?(NKJV) Rut 1:11 Aber Naemi sprach: Kehrt um, meine Töchter! warum wollt ihr mit mir gehen? Wie kann ich fürder Kinder in meinem Leibe haben, die eure Männer sein könnten?(DE) Ruth 1:11 Maar Naomi zeide: Keert weder, mijn dochters! Waarom zoudt gij met mij gaan? If I should say I have hope, if I should have a husband tonight and should also bear sons,(NKJV) Rut 1:12 Kehrt um, meine Töchter, und geht hin! denn ich bin nun zu alt, daß ich einen Mann nehme. Und wenn ich spräche: Es ist zu hoffen, daß ich diese Nacht einen Mann nehme und Kinder gebäre,(DE) Ruth 1:12 Keert weder, mijn dochters! Gaat heen; want ik ben te oud om een man te hebben. Wanneer ik al zeide: Ik heb hoop, of ik ook in dezen nacht een man had, ja, ook zonen baarde;(NL) Ruth 1:12 Palatkaat, minun tyttäreni, ja menkäät, sillä minä olen ylen vanha miestä ottamaan; ja vaikka minä sanoisin: se on toivottava, että minä ottaisin tänä yönä itselleni miehen ja synnyttäisin poikia,(FI) Rut 1:12 Revertimini, filiæ meæ, et abite: jam enim senectute confecta sum, nec apta vinculo conjugali: etiamsi possem hac nocte concipere, et parere filios,(Latin) Rut 1:12 ἐπιστράφητε δή θυγατέρες μου διότι γεγήρακα τοῦ μὴ εἶναι ἀνδρί ὅτι εἶπα ὅτι ἔστιν μοι ὑπόστασις τοῦ γενηθῆναί με ἀνδρὶ καὶ τέξομαι υἱούς(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:12 Turne againe, my daughters: go your way: for I am too olde to haue an husband. If I should say, I haue hope, and if I had an husbad this night: yea, if I had borne sonnes,(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:13 ============ Rut 1:13 would you wait for them till they were grown? Would you restrain yourselves from having husbands? No, my daughters; for it grieves me very much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord has gone out against me!"(NKJV) Rut 1:13 wie könntet ihr doch harren, bis sie groß würden? wie wolltet ihr verziehen, daß ihr nicht Männer solltet nehmen? Nicht, meine Töchter! denn mich jammert euer sehr; denn des HERRN Hand ist über mich ausgegangen.(DE) Ruth 1:13 Zoudt gij daarnaar wachten, totdat zij zouden groot geworden zijn; zoudt gij daarnaar opgehouden worden, om geen man te nemen? Niet, mijn dochters! Want het is mij veel bitterder dan u; maar de hand des HEEREN is tegen mij uitgegaan.(NL) Ruth 1:13 Kuinka te odottaisitte niinkauvan kuin ne suureksi tulisivat? Ja kuinka te taidatte viivyttää, ettette ota miestä? Nolite, quæso, filiæ meæ: quia vestra angustia magis me premit, et egressa est manus Domini contra me.(Latin) Rut 1:13 μὴ αὐτοὺς προσδέξεσθε ἕως οὗ ἁδρυνθῶσιν ἢ αὐτοῖς κατασχεθήσεσθε τοῦ μὴ γενέσθαι ἀνδρί μὴ δή θυγατέρες μου ὅτι ἐπικράνθη μοι ὑπὲρ ὑμᾶς ὅτι ἐξῆλθεν ἐν ἐμοὶ χεὶρ κυρίου(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:13 Would yee tarie for them, till they were of age? would ye be deferred for them from taking of husbands? nay my daughters: for it grieueth me much for your sakes that the hand of the Lorde is gone out against me.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:14 ============ Rut 1:14 Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.(NKJV) Rut 1:14 Da hoben sie ihre Stimme auf und weinten noch mehr. Und Opra küßte ihre Schwiegermutter; Rut aber blieb bei ihr.(DE) Ruth 1:14 Toen hieven zij haar stem op, en weenden wederom; en Orpa kuste haar schoonmoeder, maar Ruth kleefde haar aan.(NL) Ruth 1:14 Niin he korottivat äänensä ja itkivät vielä hartaammasti; ja Orpa antoi suuta anoppinsa, mutta Ruut riippui hänessä.(FI) Rut 1:14 Elevata igitur voce, rursum flere cœperunt: Orpha osculata est socrum, ac reversa est; Ruth adhæsit socrui suæ:(Latin) Rut 1:14 καὶ ἐπῆραν τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν ἔτι καὶ κατεφίλησεν Ορφα τὴν πενθερὰν αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν εἰς τὸν λαὸν αὐτῆς Ρουθ δὲ ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῇ(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:14 Then they lift vp their voyce and wept againe, and Orpah kissed her mother in lawe, but Ruth abode still with her.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:15 ============ Rut 1:15 And she said, "Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law."(NKJV) Rut 1:15 Sie aber sprach: Siehe, deine Schwägerin ist umgewandt zu ihrem Volk und zu ihrem Gott; kehre auch du um, deiner Schwägerin nach.(DE) Ruth 1:15 Daarom zeide zij: Zie, uw zwagerin is wedergekeerd tot haar volk en tot haar goden; keer gij ook weder, uw zwagerin na.(NL) Ruth 1:15 Mutta hän sanoi hänelle: katsos, kälys on palannut omaistensa tykö ja jumalainsa tykö: palaja sinäkin kälys kanssa!(FI) Rut 1:15 cui dixit Noëmi: En reversa est cognata tua ad populum suum, et ad deos suos, vade cum ea.(Latin) Rut 1:15 καὶ εἶπεν Νωεμιν πρὸς Ρουθ ἰδοὺ ἀνέστρεψεν ἡ σύννυμφός σου πρὸς λαὸν αὐτῆς καὶ πρὸς τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτῆς ἐπιστράφητι δὴ καὶ σὺ ὀπίσω τῆς συννύμφου σου(GR-lxx) Ruth 1:15 And Naomi said, Beholde, thy sister in law is gone backe vnto her people and vnto her gods: returne thou after thy sister in lawe.(GB-Geneva) ======= Ruth 1:16 ============ Rut 1:16 But Ruth said: "Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.(NKJV) Rut 1:16 Rut antwortete: Rede mir nicht ein, daß ich dich verlassen sollte und von dir umkehren. Wo du hin gehst, da will ich auch hin gehen; wo du bleibst, da bleibe ich auch. Dein Volk ist mein Volk, und dein Gott ist mein Gott.(DE) Ruth 1:16 Maar Ruth zeide: Val mij niet tegen, dat ik u zou verlaten, om van achter u weder te keren; want waar gij zult heengaan, zal ik ook heengaan, en waar gij zult vernachten, zal ik vernachten; uw volk is mijn volk, en uw God mijn God.(NL) Ruth 1:16 Ruut vastasi: älä minulle sitä puhu, että minä luovun sinusta ja palajan pois tyköäs; sillä kuhunka sinä menet, sinne myös minä menen, ja kussa sinä yödyt, siellä tahdon myös minä yötä olla: sinun kansas on minun kansani, ja sinun Jumalas on minun Jumalani.(FI) Rut 1:16 Quæ respondit: Ne adverseris mihi ut relinquam te et abeam: quocumque enim perrexeris, pergam, et ubi morata fueris, et ego pariter morabor.
