This thing pleased the king, and he did so.(NKJV) Est 2:4 und welche Dirne dem König gefällt, die werde Königin an Vasthis Statt. The young woman was lovely and beautiful. When her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter.(NKJV) Est 2:7 Und er war ein Vormund der Hadassa, das ist Est r, eine Tochter seines Oheims; denn sie hatte weder Vater noch Mutter. Then seven choice maidservants were provided for her from the king's palace, and he moved her and her maidservants to the best place in the house of the women.(NKJV) Est 2:9 Und die Dirne gefiel ihm, und sie fand Barmherzigkeit vor ihm. Und er eilte mit ihrem Schmuck, daß er ihr ihren Teil gäbe und sieben feine Dirnen von des Königs Hause dazu. Et præcepit eunucho, ut acceleraret mundum muliebrem, et traderet ei partes suas, et septem puellas speciosissimas de domo regis, et tam ipsam quam pedissequas ejus ornaret atque excoleret.(Latin) Est 2:9 καὶ ἤρεσεν αὐτῷ τὸ κοράσιον καὶ εὗρεν χάριν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔσπευσεν αὐτῇ δοῦναι τὸ σμῆγμα καὶ τὴν μερίδα καὶ τὰ ἑπτὰ κοράσια τὰ ἀποδεδειγμένα αὐτῇ ἐκ βασιλικοῦ καὶ ἐχρήσατο αὐτῇ καλῶς καὶ ταῖς ἅβραις αὐτῆς ἐν τῷ γυναικῶνι(GR-lxx) Esther 2:9 And the mayde pleased him, & she founde fauour in his sight: therefore he caused her things for purification to be giuen her speedily, and her state, and seuen comely maides to be giuer her out of the Kings house, and he gaue change to her and to her maydes of the best in the house of the women.(GB-Geneva) ======= Esther 2:10 ============ Est 2:10 Esther had not revealed her people or family, for Mordecai had charged her not to reveal it.(NKJV) Est 2:10 Und Est r sagte ihm nicht an ihr Volk und ihre Freundschaft; want alzo werden vervuld de dagen harer versieringen, zes maanden met mirre-olie, en zes maanden met specerijen, en met andere versierselen der vrouwen;(NL) Esther 2:12 Ja kuin itsekunkin piian määrätty aika tuli mennä kuningas Ahasveruksen tykö, sittekuin hän oli ollut kaksitoistakymmenta kuukautta vaimoin tavan jälkeen kaunistuksessa; (sillä heidän kaunistuksellansa piti oleman niin paljo aikaa: kuusi kuukautta myrhamiöljyllä, ja kuusi kuukautta kalliilla voiteilla, ja muilla vaimoin kaunistuksilla:)(FI) Est 2:12 Cum autem venisset tempus singularum per ordinem puellarum ut intrarent ad regem, expletis omnibus quæ ad cultum muliebrem pertinebant, mensis duodecimus vertebatur: ita dumtaxat, ut sex mensibus oleo ungerentur myrrhino, et aliis sex quibusdam pigmentis et aromatibus uterentur.(Latin) Est 2:12 οὗτος δὲ ἦν καιρὸς κορασίου εἰσελθεῖν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα ὅταν ἀναπληρώσῃ μῆνας δέκα δύο οὕτως γὰρ ἀναπληροῦνται αἱ ἡμέραι τῆς θεραπείας μῆνας ἓξ ἀλειφόμεναι ἐν σμυρνίνῳ ἐλαίῳ καὶ μῆνας ἓξ ἐν τοῖς ἀρώμασιν καὶ ἐν τοῖς σμήγμασιν τῶν γυναικῶν(GR-lxx) Esther 2:12 And when the course of euery mayd came, to go in to King Ahashuerosh, after that she had bene twelue moneths according to the maner of the women (for so were the dayes of their purifications accomplished, sixe moneths with oyle of myrrhe, and sixe moneths with sweete odours and in the purifying of the women:(GB-Geneva) ======= Esther 2:13 ============ Est 2:13 Thus prepared, each young woman went to the king, and she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the women's quarters to the king's palace.(NKJV) Est 2:13 alsdann ging die Dirne zum König und alles, was sie wollte, mußte man ihr geben, daß sie damit vom Frauenhaus zu des Königs Hause ginge.(DE) Esther 2:13 Daarmede kwam dan de jonge dochter tot den koning; al wat zij zeide, werd haar gegeven, dat zij daarmede ging uit het huis der vrouwen tot het huis des konings.(NL) Esther 2:13 Niin piika meni kuninkaan tykö; ja jonka hän tahtoi, se piti hänelle annettaman, joka piti hänen kanssansa menemän vaimoin huoneesta kuninkaan huoneesen.(FI) Est 2:13 Ingredientesque ad regem, quidquid postulassent ad ornatum pertinens, accipiebant: et ut eis placuerat, compositæ de triclinio feminarum ad regis cubiculum transibant.(Latin) Est 2:13 καὶ τότε εἰσπορεύεται πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα καὶ ὃ ἐὰν εἴπῃ παραδώσει αὐτῇ συνεισέρχεσθαι αὐτῇ ἀπὸ τοῦ γυναικῶνος ἕως τῶν βασιλείων(GR-lxx) Esther 2:13 And thus went the maides vnto the King) whatsoeuer she required, was giuen her, to go with her out of the womens house vnto ye kings house.(GB-Geneva) ======= Esther 2:14 ============ Est 2:14 In the evening she went, and in the morning she returned to the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's eunuch who kept the concubines.
