Today's Date: ======= Joshua 2:1 ============ Jos 2:1 Then Joshua the son of Nun sent two men as spies secretly from Shittim, saying, "Go, view the land, especially Jericho." So they went and came into the house of a harlot whose name was Rahab, and lodged there.(nasb) Jos 2:1 Misit igitur Josue filius Nun de Setim duos viros exploratores in abscondito: et dixit eis: Ite, et considerate terram, urbemque Jericho. Qui pergentes ingressi sunt domum mulieris meretricis, nomine Rahab, et quieverunt apud eam.(vulgate) Josué 2:1 Y Josué, hijo de Nun, envió desde Sitim dos espías secretamente, diciéndoles: Andad, reconoced la tierra, y a Jericó. Y ellos fueron, y entraron en casa de una mujer ramera que se llamaba Rahab, y posaron allí.(E) Josué 2:1 Josué, fils de Nun, fit partir secrètement de Sittim deux espions, en leur disant: Allez, examinez le pays, et en particulier Jéricho. Ils partirent, et ils arrivèrent dans la maison d'une prostituée, qui se nommait Rahab, et ils y couchèrent.(F) Jos 2:1 Josua aber, der Sohn Nuns, hatte zwei Kundschafter heimlich ausgesandt von Sittim und ihnen gesagt: Geht hin, beseht das Land und Jericho. Die gingen hin und kamen in das Haus einer Hure, die hieß Rahab, und kehrten zu ihr ein.(D) Jos 2:1 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυη ἐκ Σαττιν δύο νεανίσκους κατασκοπεῦσαι λέγων ἀνάβητε καὶ ἴδετε τὴν γῆν καὶ τὴν Ιεριχω καὶ πορευθέντες εἰσήλθοσαν οἱ δύο νεανίσκοι εἰς Ιεριχω καὶ εἰσήλθοσαν εἰς οἰκίαν γυναικὸς πόρνης ᾗ ὄνομα Ρααβ καὶ κατέλυσαν ἐκεῖ(lxx) Jos 2:1 Now Joshua the son of Nun sent out two men from Acacia Grove to spy secretly, saying, "Go, view the land, especially Jericho." So they went, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:2 ============ Jos 2:2 It was told the king of Jericho, saying, "Behold, men from the sons of Israel have come here tonight to search out the land."(nasb) Jos 2:2 Nuntiatumque est regi Jericho, et dictum: Ecce viri ingressi sunt huc per noctem de filiis Israël, ut explorarent terram.(vulgate) Josué 2:2 Y fue dado aviso al rey de Jericó, diciendo: He aquí que hombres de los hijos de Israel han venido aquí esta noche a espiar la tierra.(E) Josué 2:2 On dit au roi de Jéricho: Voici, des hommes d'entre les enfants d'Israël sont arrivés ici, cette nuit, pour explorer le pays.(F) Jos 2:2 Da ward dem König von Jericho gesagt: Siehe, es sind in dieser Nacht Männer hereingekommen von den Kindern Israel, das Land zu erkunden.(D) Jos 2:2 καὶ ἀπηγγέλη τῷ βασιλεῖ Ιεριχω λέγοντες εἰσπεπόρευνται ὧδε ἄνδρες τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ κατασκοπεῦσαι τὴν γῆν(lxx) Jos 2:2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, "Behold, men have come here tonight from the children of Israel to search out the country."(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:3 ============ Jos 2:3 And the king of Jericho sent word to Rahab, saying, "Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the land."(nasb) Jos 2:3 Misitque rex Jericho ad Rahab, dicens: Educ viros, qui venerunt ad te, et ingressi sunt domum tuam: exploratores quippe sunt, et omnem terram considerare venerunt.(vulgate) Josué 2:3 Entonces el rey de Jericó, envió a decir a Rahab: Saca fuera los hombres que han venido a ti, y han entrado en tu casa; porque han venido a espiar toda la tierra.(E) Josué 2:3 Le roi de Jéricho envoya dire à Rahab: Fais sortir les hommes qui sont venus chez toi, qui sont entrés dans ta maison; car c'est pour explorer tout le pays qu'ils sont venus.(F) Jos 2:3 Da sandte der König zu Jericho zu Rahab und ließ ihr sagen: Gib die Männer heraus, die zu dir in dein Haus gekommen sind; denn sie sind gekommen, das ganze Land zu erkunden.(D) Jos 2:3 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ιεριχω καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς Ρααβ λέγων ἐξάγαγε τοὺς ἄνδρας τοὺς εἰσπεπορευμένους εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν σου τὴν νύκτα κατασκοπεῦσαι γὰρ τὴν γῆν ἥκασιν(lxx) Jos 2:3 So the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, "Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the country."(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:4 ============ Jos 2:4 But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them, and she said, "Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.(nasb) Jos 2:4 Tollensque mulier viros, abscondit, et ait: Fateor, venerunt ad me, sed nesciebam unde essent:(vulgate) Josué 2:4 Pero la mujer había tomado los dos hombres, y los había escondido; y dijo: Verdad que hombres vinieron a mí, mas no supe de dónde eran.(E) Josué 2:4 La femme prit les deux hommes, et les cacha; et elle dit: Il est vrai que ces hommes sont arrivés chez moi, mais je ne savais pas d'où ils étaient;(F) Jos 2:4 Aber das Weib verbarg die zwei Männer und sprach also: Es sind ja Männer zu mir hereingekommen; aber ich wußte nicht, woher sie waren.(D) Jos 2:4 καὶ λαβοῦσα ἡ γυνὴ τοὺς ἄνδρας ἔκρυψεν αὐτοὺς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς λέγουσα εἰσεληλύθασιν πρός με οἱ ἄνδρες(lxx) Jos 2:4 Then the woman took the two men and hid them. So she said, "Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:5 ============ Jos 2:5 It came about when it was time to shut the gate at dark, that the men went out; I do not know where the men went. Pursue them quickly, for you will overtake them."(nasb) Jos 2:5 cumque porta clauderetur in tenebris, et illi pariter exierunt; nescio quo abierunt: persequimini cito, et comprehendetis eos.(vulgate) Josué 2:5 Y a la hora de cerrar la puerta, siendo ya oscuro, esos hombres salieron, y no sé a dónde se han ido; seguidlos aprisa y los alcanzaréis.(E) Josué 2:5 et, comme la porte a dû se fermer de nuit, ces hommes sont sortis; j'ignore où ils sont allés: hâtez-vous de les poursuivre et vous les atteindrez.(F) Jos 2:5 Und da man die Tore wollte zuschließen, da es finster war, gingen sie hinaus, daß ich nicht weiß, wo sie hingegangen sind. Jagt ihnen eilend nach, denn ihr werdet sie ergreifen.(D) Jos 2:5 ὡς δὲ ἡ πύλη ἐκλείετο ἐν τῷ σκότει καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες ἐξῆλθον οὐκ ἐπίσταμαι ποῦ πεπόρευνται καταδιώξατε ὀπίσω αὐτῶν εἰ καταλήμψεσθε αὐτούς(lxx) Jos 2:5 And it happened as the gate was being shut, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I do not know; pursue them quickly, for you may overtake them."(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:6 ============ Jos 2:6 But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them in the stalks of flax which she had laid in order on the roof.(nasb) Jos 2:6 Ipsa autem fecit ascendere viros in solarium domus suæ, operuitque eos stipula lini, quæ ibi erat.(vulgate) Josué 2:6 Mas ella los había hecho subir al terrado, y los había escondido entre manojos de lino que en aquel terrado tenía puestos.(E) Josué 2:6 Elle les avait fait monter sur le toit, et les avait cachés sous des tiges de lin, qu'elle avait arrangées sur le toit.(F) Jos 2:6 Sie aber ließ sie auf das Dach steigen und verdeckte sie unter die Flachsstengel, die sie auf dem Dache ausgebreitet hatte.(D) Jos 2:6 αὐτὴ δὲ ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα καὶ ἔκρυψεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ λινοκαλάμῃ τῇ ἐστοιβασμένῃ αὐτῇ ἐπὶ τοῦ δώματος(lxx) Jos 2:6 (But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order on the roof.)(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:7 ============ Jos 2:7 So the men pursued them on the road to the Jordan to the fords; and as soon as those who were pursuing them had gone out, they shut the gate.(nasb) Jos 2:7 Hi autem, qui missi fuerant, secuti sunt eos per viam, quæ ducit ad vadum Jordanis: illisque egressis statim porta clausa est.~(vulgate) Josué 2:7 Y los hombres fueron tras ellos por el camino del Jordán, hasta los vados; y la puerta fue cerrada después que salieron los que tras ellos iban.(E) Josué 2:7 Ces gens les poursuivirent par le chemin qui mène au gué du Jourdain, et l'on ferma la porte après qu'ils furent sortis.(F) Jos 2:7 Aber die Männer jagten ihnen nach auf dem Wege zum Jordan bis an die Furt; und man schloß das Tor zu, da die hinaus waren, die ihnen nachjagten.(D) Jos 2:7 καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες κατεδίωξαν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν ὁδὸν τὴν ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου ἐπὶ τὰς διαβάσεις καὶ ἡ πύλη ἐκλείσθη καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ διώκοντες ὀπίσω αὐτῶν(lxx) Jos 2:7 Then the men pursued them by the road to the Jordan, to the fords. And as soon as those who pursued them had gone out, they shut the gate.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:8 ============ Jos 2:8 Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof,(nasb) Jos 2:8 Necdum obdormierant qui latebant, et ecce mulier ascendit ad eos, et ait:(vulgate) Josué 2:8 Y antes que ellos durmiesen, ella subió a ellos al terrado, y les dijo:(E) Josué 2:8 Avant que les espions se couchassent, Rahab monta vers eux sur le toit(F) Jos 2:8 Und ehe denn die Männer sich schlafen legten, stieg sie zu ihnen hinauf auf das Dach(D) Jos 2:8 καὶ αὐτοὶ δὲ πρὶν ἢ κοιμηθῆναι αὐτούς καὶ αὐτὴ ἀνέβη ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα πρὸς αὐτοὺς(lxx) Jos 2:8 Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof,(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:9 ============ Jos 2:9 and said to the men, "I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have melted away before you.(nasb) Jos 2:9 Novi quod Dominus tradiderit vobis terram: etenim irruit in nos terror vester, et elanguerunt omnes habitatores terræ.(vulgate) Josué 2:9 Sé que Jehová os ha dado esta tierra; porque el temor de vosotros ha caído sobre nosotros, y todos los moradores del país desmayan por causa de vosotros.(E) Josué 2:9 et leur dit: L'Eternel, je le sais, vous a donné ce pays, la terreur que vous inspirez nous a saisis, et tous les habitants du pays tremblent devant vous.(F) Jos 2:9 und sprach zu ihnen: Ich weiß, daß der HERR euch das Land gegeben hat; denn ein Schrecken ist über uns gefallen vor euch, und alle Einwohner des Landes sind feig geworden.(D) Jos 2:9 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἐπίσταμαι ὅτι δέδωκεν ὑμῖν κύριος τὴν γῆν ἐπιπέπτωκεν γὰρ ὁ φόβος ὑμῶν ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς(lxx) Jos 2:9 and said to the men: "I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:10 ============ Jos 2:10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.(nasb) Jos 2:10 Audivimus quod siccaverit Dominus aquas maris Rubri ad vestrum introitum, quando egressi estis ex Ægypto: et quæ feceritis duobus Amorrhæorum regibus, qui erant trans Jordanem, Sehon et Og, quos interfecistis.(vulgate) Josué 2:10 Porque hemos oído que Jehová hizo secar las aguas del Mar Rojo delante de vosotros, cuando salisteis de Egipto, y lo que habéis hecho a los dos reyes de los amorreos que estaban al otro lado del Jordán, a Sehón y a Og, a los cuales habéis destruido.(E) Josué 2:10 Car nous avons appris comment, à votre sortie d'Egypte, l'Eternel a mis à sec devant vous les eaux de la mer Rouge, et comment vous avez traité les deux rois des Amoréens au delà du Jourdain, Sihon et Og, que vous avez dévoués par interdit.(F) Jos 2:10 Denn wir haben gehört, wie der HERR hat das Wasser im Schilfmeer ausgetrocknet vor euch her, da ihr aus Ägypten zoget, und was ihr den zwei Königen der Amoriter, Sihon und Og, jenseit des Jordans getan habt, wie ihr sie verbannt habt.(D) Jos 2:10 ἀκηκόαμεν γὰρ ὅτι κατεξήρανεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τὴν ἐρυθρὰν θάλασσαν ἀπὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν ὅτε ἐξεπορεύεσθε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ὅσα ἐποίησεν τοῖς δυσὶ βασιλεῦσιν τῶν Αμορραίων οἳ ἦσαν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου τῷ Σηων καὶ Ωγ οὓς ἐξωλεθρεύσατε αὐτούς(lxx) Jos 2:10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:11 ============ Jos 2:11 When we heard it, our hearts melted and no courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.(nasb) Jos 2:11 Et hæc audientes pertimuimus, et elanguit cor nostrum, nec remansit in nobis spiritus ad introitum vestrum: Dominus enim Deus vester ipse est Deus in cælo sursum et in terra deorsum.(vulgate) Josué 2:11 Oyendo [esto], ha desmayado nuestro corazón; ni ha quedado más ánimo en hombre alguno por causa de vosotros: porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios arriba en los cielos y abajo en la tierra.(E) Josué 2:11 Nous l'avons appris, et nous avons perdu courage, et tous nos esprits sont abattus à votre aspect; car c'est l'Eternel, votre Dieu, qui est Dieu en haut dans les cieux et en bas sur la terre.(F) Jos 2:11 Und seit wir solches gehört haben, ist unser Herz verzagt und ist kein Mut mehr in jemand vor euch; denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist Gott oben im Himmel und unten auf Erden.(D) Jos 2:11 καὶ ἀκούσαντες ἡμεῖς ἐξέστημεν τῇ καρδίᾳ ἡμῶν καὶ οὐκ ἔστη ἔτι πνεῦμα ἐν οὐδενὶ ἡμῶν ἀπὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν θεὸς ἐν οὐρανῷ ἄνω καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κάτω(lxx) Jos 2:11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:12 ============ Jos 2:12 Now therefore, please swear to me by the Lord, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you also will deal kindly with my father's household, and give me a pledge of truth,(nasb) Jos 2:12 Nunc ergo jurate mihi per Dominum, ut quomodo ego misericordiam feci vobiscum, ita et vos faciatis cum domo patris mei: detisque mihi verum signum,(vulgate) Josué 2:12 Os ruego pues, ahora, que me juréis por Jehová, que como he hecho misericordia con vosotros, así la haréis vosotros con la casa de mi padre, de lo cual me daréis una señal segura;(E) Josué 2:12 Et maintenant, je vous prie, jurez-moi par l'Eternel que vous aurez pour la maison de mon père la même bonté que j'ai eue pour vous. Donnez-moi l'assurance(F) Jos 2:12 So schwört mir nun bei dem HERRN, daß, weil ich an euch Barmherzigkeit getan habe, ihr auch an meines Vaters Hause Barmherzigkeit tut; und gebt mir ein gewisses Zeichen,(D) Jos 2:12 καὶ νῦν ὀμόσατέ μοι κύριον τὸν θεόν ὅτι ποιῶ ὑμῖν ἔλεος καὶ ποιήσετε καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔλεος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρός μου(lxx) Jos 2:12 Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father's house, and give me a true token,(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:13 ============ Jos 2:13 and spare my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters, with all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death."(nasb) Jos 2:13 ut salvetis patrem meum et matrem, et fratres ac sorores meas, et omnia quæ illorum sunt, et eruatis animas nostras a morte.(vulgate) Josué 2:13 y que salvaréis la vida a mi padre y a mi madre, y a mis hermanos y hermanas, y a todo lo que es suyo; y que libraréis nuestras vidas de la muerte.(E) Josué 2:13 que vous laisserez vivre mon père, ma mère, mes frères, mes soeurs, et tous ceux qui leur appartiennent, et que vous nous sauverez de la mort.(F) Jos 2:13 daß ihr leben lasset meinen Vater, meine Mutter, meine Brüder und meine Schwestern und alles, was sie haben, und errettet unsere Seelen vom Tode.(D) Jos 2:13 καὶ ζωγρήσετε τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ τὴν μητέρα μου καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφούς μου καὶ πάντα τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐξελεῖσθε τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐκ θανάτου(lxx) Jos 2:13 and spare my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death."(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:14 ============ Jos 2:14 So the men said to her, "Our life for yours if you do not tell this business of ours; and it shall come about when the Lord gives us the land that we will deal kindly and faithfully with you."(nasb) Jos 2:14 Qui responderunt ei: Anima nostra sit pro vobis in mortem, si tamen non prodideris nos: cumque tradiderit nobis Dominus terram, faciemus in te misericordiam et veritatem.(vulgate) Josué 2:14 Y ellos le respondieron: Nuestra alma por vosotros hasta la muerte, si no denunciareis este nuestro asunto; y cuando Jehová nos hubiere dado la tierra, nosotros haremos contigo misericordia y verdad.(E) Josué 2:14 Ces hommes lui répondirent: Nous sommes prêts à mourir pour vous, si vous ne divulguez pas ce qui nous concerne; et quand l'Eternel nous donnera le pays, nous agirons envers toi avec bonté et fidélité.(F) Jos 2:14 Die Männer sprachen zu ihr: Tun wir nicht Barmherzigkeit und Treue an dir, wenn uns der HERR das Land gibt, so soll unsere Seele für euch des Todes sein, sofern du unser Geschäft nicht verrätst.(D) Jos 2:14 καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῇ οἱ ἄνδρες ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν ἀνθ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς θάνατον καὶ αὐτὴ εἶπεν ὡς ἂν παραδῷ κύριος ὑμῖν τὴν πόλιν ποιήσετε εἰς ἐμὲ ἔλεος καὶ ἀλήθειαν(lxx) Jos 2:14 So the men answered her, "Our lives for yours, if none of you tell this business of ours. And it shall be, when the Lord has given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you."(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:15 ============ Jos 2:15 Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall, so that she was living on the wall.(nasb) Jos 2:15 Demisit ergo eos per funem de fenestra: domus enim ejus hærebat muro.(vulgate) Josué 2:15 Entonces ella los hizo descender con una cuerda por la ventana; porque su casa estaba a la pared del muro, y ella vivía en el muro.(E) Josué 2:15 Elle les fit descendre avec une corde par la fenêtre, car la maison qu'elle habitait était sur la muraille de la ville.(F) Jos 2:15 Da ließ sie dieselben am Seil durchs Fenster hernieder; denn ihr Haus war an der Stadtmauer, und sie wohnte auch auf der Mauer.(D) Jos 2:15 καὶ κατεχάλασεν αὐτοὺς διὰ τῆς θυρίδος(lxx) Jos 2:15 Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall; she dwelt on the wall.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:16 ============ Jos 2:16 She said to them, "Go to the hill country, so that the pursuers will not happen upon you, and hide yourselves there for three days until the pursuers return. Then afterward you may go on your way."(nasb) Jos 2:16 Dixitque ad eos: Ad montana conscendite, ne forte occurrant vobis revertentes: ibique latitate tribus diebus, donec redeant, et sic ibitis per viam vestram.(vulgate) Josué 2:16 Y les dijo: Marchaos al monte, para que los que fueron tras vosotros no os encuentren; y permaneced escondidos allí tres días, hasta que los que os siguen hayan vuelto; y después os iréis por vuestro camino.(E) Josué 2:16 Elle leur dit: Allez du côté de la montagne, de peur que ceux qui vous poursuivent ne vous rencontrent; cachez-vous là pendant trois jours, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient de retour; après cela, vous suivrez votre chemin.(F) Jos 2:16 Und sie sprach zu ihnen: Geht auf das Gebirge, daß euch nicht begegnen, die euch nachjagen, und verbergt euch daselbst drei Tage, bis daß sie wiederkommen, die euch nachjagen; darnach geht eure Straße.(D) Jos 2:16 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν ἀπέλθετε μὴ συναντήσωσιν ὑμῖν οἱ καταδιώκοντες καὶ κρυβήσεσθε ἐκεῖ τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἕως ἂν ἀποστρέψωσιν οἱ καταδιώκοντες ὀπίσω ὑμῶν καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἀπελεύσεσθε εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν ὑμῶν(lxx) Jos 2:16 And she said to them, "Get to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you. Hide there three days, until the pursuers have returned. Now the pursuers had sought them all along the road, but had not found them.(nasb) Jos 2:22 Illi vero ambulantes pervenerunt ad montana, et manserunt ibi tres dies, donec reverterentur qui fuerant persecuti: quærentes enim per omnem viam, non repererunt eos.(vulgate) Josué 2:22 Y caminando ellos, llegaron al monte, y estuvieron allí tres días, hasta que los que los seguían se hubiesen vuelto; y los que los siguieron, buscaron por todo el camino, mas no [los] hallaron.(E) Josué 2:22 Ils partirent, et arrivèrent à la montagne, où ils restèrent trois jours, jusqu'à ce que ceux qui les poursuivaient fussent de retour. Ceux qui les poursuivaient les cherchèrent par tout le chemin, mais ils ne les trouvèrent pas.(F) Jos 2:22 Sie aber gingen hin und kamen aufs Gebirge und blieben drei Tage daselbst, bis daß die wiederkamen, die ihnen nachjagten. Denn sie hatten sie gesucht auf allen Straßen, und doch nicht gefunden.(D) Jos 2:22 καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν καὶ ἤλθοσαν εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν καὶ κατέμειναν ἐκεῖ τρεῖς ἡμέρας καὶ ἐξεζήτησαν οἱ καταδιώκοντες πάσας τὰς ὁδοὺς καὶ οὐχ εὕροσαν(lxx) Jos 2:22 They departed and went to the mountain, and stayed there three days until the pursuers returned. The pursuers sought them all along the way, but did not find them.(nkjv) ======= Joshua 2:23 ============ Jos 2:23 Then the two men returned and came down from the hill country and crossed over and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and they related to him all that had happened to them.(nasb) Jos 2:23 Quibus urbem ingressis, reversi sunt, et descenderunt exploratores de monte: et, transmisso Jordane, venerunt ad Josue filium Nun, narraveruntque ei omnia quæ acciderant sibi,(vulgate) Josué 2:23 Y volviéndose los dos varones, descendieron del monte, y pasaron, y vinieron a Josué hijo de Nun, y le contaron todas las cosas que les habían acontecido.(E) Josué 2:23 Les deux hommes s'en retournèrent, descendirent de la montagne, et passèrent le Jourdain.
