Will you go with me to fight against Moab?" Will you go with me to fight against Moab?" And he answered, "By way of the Wilderness of Edom."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:9 ============ 2Ki 3:9 So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom; and they made a circuit of seven days' journey, and there was no water for the army or for the cattle that followed them.(nasb) 2Ki 3:9 Perrexerunt igitur rex Israël, et rex Juda, et rex Edom, et circuierunt per viam septem dierum, nec erat aqua exercitui et jumentis quæ sequebantur eos.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 3:9 Partieron, pues, el rey de Israel, y el rey de Judá, y el rey de Idumea; y como anduvieron rodeando por el desierto siete días de camino, les faltó el agua para el ejército y para las bestias que los seguían.(E) 2 Rois 3:9 Le roi d'Israël, le roi de Juda et le roi d'Edom, partirent; et après une marche de sept jours, ils manquèrent d'eau pour l'armée et pour les bêtes qui la suivaient.(F) 2Ki 3:9 Also zog hin der König Israels, der König Juda's und der König Edoms. For the Lord has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:11 ============ 2Ki 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?" And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah."(nasb) 2Ki 3:11 Et ait Josaphat: Estne hic propheta Domini, ut deprecemur Dominum per eum? Et respondit unus de servis regis Israël: Est hic Eliseus filius Saphat, qui fundebat aquam super manus Eliæ.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 3:11 Mas Josafat dijo: ¿No [hay] aquí profeta de Jehová, para que consultemos a Jehová por él? Y uno de los siervos del rey de Israel respondió y dijo: Aquí [está] Eliseo, hijo de Safat, que daba agua en las manos de Elías.(E) 2 Rois 3:11 Mais Josaphat dit: N'y a-t-il ici aucun prophète de l'Eternel, par qui nous puissions consulter l'Eternel? L'un des serviteurs du roi d'Israël répondit: Il y a ici Elisée, fils de Schaphath, qui versait l'eau sur les mains d'Elie.(F) 2Ki 3:11 Josaphat aber sprach: Ist kein Prophet des HERRN hier, daß wir den HERRN durch ihn ratfragen? Da antwortete einer unter den Knechten des Königs Israels und sprach: Hier ist Elisa, der Sohn Saphats, der Elia Wasser auf die Hände goß.(D) 2Ki 3:11 καὶ εἶπεν Ιωσαφατ οὐκ ἔστιν ὧδε προφήτης τοῦ κυρίου καὶ ἐπιζητήσωμεν τὸν κύριον παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπεκρίθη εἷς τῶν παίδων βασιλέως Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπεν ὧδε Ελισαιε υἱὸς Σαφατ ὃς ἐπέχεεν ὕδωρ ἐπὶ χεῖρας Ηλιου(lxx) 2Ki 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?" So one of the servants of the king of Israel answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:12 ============ 2Ki 3:12 Jehoshaphat said, "The word of the Lord is with him." So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.(nasb) 2Ki 3:12 Et ait Josaphat: Est apud eum sermo Domini. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:13 ============ 2Ki 3:13 Now Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do I have to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother." And the king of Israel said to him, "No, for the Lord has called these three kings together to give them into the hand of Moab."(nasb) 2Ki 3:13 Dixit autem Eliseus ad regem Israël: Quid mihi et tibi est? vade ad prophetas patris tui et matris tuæ. Et ait illi rex Israël: Quare congregavit Dominus tres reges hos ut traderet eos in manus Moab?(vulgate) 2 Reyes 3:13 Entonces Eliseo dijo al rey de Israel: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo? Ve a los profetas de tu padre, y a los profetas de tu madre. Y el rey de Israel le respondió: No; porque ha juntado Jehová estos tres reyes para entregarlos en manos de los moabitas.(E) 2 Rois 3:13 Elisée dit au roi d'Israël: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No, for the Lord has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:14 ============ 2Ki 3:14 Elisha said, "As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you.(nasb) 2Ki 3:14 Dixitque ad eum Eliseus: Vivit Dominus exercituum, in cujus conspectu sto, quod si non vultum Josaphat regis Judæ erubescerem, non attendissem quidem te, nec respexissem.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 3:14 Y Eliseo dijo: Vive Jehová de los ejércitos, en cuya presencia estoy, que si no tuviese respeto al rostro de Josafat, rey de Judá, no te miraría ni te vería.(E) 2 Rois 3:14 Elisée dit: L'Eternel des armées, dont je suis le serviteur, est vivant! si je n'avais égard à Josaphat, roi de Juda, je ne ferais aucune attention à toi et je ne te regarderais pas.(F) 2Ki 3:14 Elisa sprach: So wahr der HERR Zebaoth lebt, vor dem ich stehe, wenn ich nicht Josaphat, den König Juda's, ansähe, ich wollte dich nicht ansehen noch achten.(D) 2Ki 3:14 καὶ εἶπεν Ελισαιε ζῇ κύριος τῶν δυνάμεων ᾧ παρέστην ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ὅτι εἰ μὴ πρόσωπον Ιωσαφατ βασιλέως Ιουδα ἐγὼ λαμβάνω εἰ ἐπέβλεψα πρὸς σὲ καὶ εἶδόν σε(lxx) 2Ki 3:14 And Elisha said, "As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 3:15 ============ 2Ki 3:15 But now bring me a minstrel." And it came about, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.(nasb) 2Ki 3:15 Nunc autem adducite mihi psaltem. Cumque caneret psaltes, facta est super eum manus Domini, et ait:(vulgate) 2 Reyes 3:15 Mas ahora traedme un tañedor.
