And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? βασιλειῶν τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου ἰσχὺς δυναστείας καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν πρὸς σὲ ἀντιστῆναι(lxx) 2Ch 20:6 and said: "O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:7 ============ 2Ch 20:7 Did You not, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever?(nasb) 2Ch 20:7 Nonne tu, Deus noster, interfecisti omnes habitatores terræ σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα(lxx) 2Ch 20:7 Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever?(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:8 ============ 2Ch 20:8 They have lived in it, and have built You a sanctuary there for Your name, saying,(nasb) 2Ch 20:8 Habitaveruntque in ea, et exstruxerunt in illa sanctuarium ἁγίασμα τῷ ὀνόματί σου λέγοντες(lxx) 2Ch 20:8 And they dwell in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying,(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:9 ============ 2Ch 20:9 'Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your name is in this house) and cry to You in our distress, and You will hear and deliver us.'(nasb) 2Ch 20:9 Si irruerint super nos mala, gladius judicii, pestilentia, et fames, stabimus coram domo hac in conspectu tuo, in qua invocatum est nomen tuum: et clamabimus ad te in tribulationibus nostris, et exaudies, salvosque facies.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 20:9 Si mal viniere sobre nosotros, o espada de castigo, o pestilencia, o hambre, nos presentaremos delante de esta casa y delante de ti (porque tu nombre [está] en esta casa), y en nuestras tribulaciones clamaremos a ti, y tú oirás y [nos] ayudarás.(E) 2 Chroniques 20:9 S'il nous survient quelque calamité, l'épée, le jugement, la peste ou la famine, nous nous présenterons devant cette maison et devant toi, car ton nom est dans cette maison, nous crierons à toi du sein de notre détresse, et tu exauceras et tu sauveras!(F) 2Ch 20:9 Wenn ein Unglück, Schwert, Strafe, Pestilenz oder Teuerung über uns kommt, sollen wir stehen vor diesem Hause vor dir (denn dein Name ist in diesem Hause) und schreien zu dir in unsrer Not, so wollest du hören und helfen?(D) 2Ch 20:9 ἐὰν ἐπέλθῃ ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς κακά ῥομφαία κρίσις θάνατος λιμός στησόμεθα ἐναντίον τοῦ οἴκου τούτου καὶ ἐναντίον σου ὅτι τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐπὶ τῷ οἴκῳ τούτῳ καὶ βοησόμεθα πρὸς σὲ ἀπὸ τῆς θλίψεως καὶ ἀκούσῃ καὶ σώσεις(lxx) 2Ch 20:9 'If disaster comes upon us--sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine--we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.'(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:10 ============ 2Ch 20:10 Now behold, the sons of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom You did not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt (they turned aside from them and did not destroy them),(nasb) 2Ch 20:10 Nunc igitur, ecce filii Ammon, et Moab, et mons Seir, per quos non concessisti Israël ut transirent quando egrediebantur de Ægypto, sed declinaverunt ab eis, et non interfecerunt illos,(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 20:10 Ahora, pues, he aquí los zogen, sondern sie mußten von ihnen weichen und durften sie nicht vertilgen;(D) 2Ch 20:10 καὶ νῦν ἰδοὺ υἱοὶ Αμμων καὶ Μωαβ καὶ ὄρος Σηιρ εἰς οὓς οὐκ ἔδωκας τῷ Ισραηλ διελθεῖν δι᾽ αὐτῶν ἐξελθόντων αὐτῶν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ὅτι ἐξέκλιναν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ οὐκ ἐξωλέθρευσαν αὐτούς(lxx) 2Ch 20:10 And now, here are the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir--whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them and did not destroy them--(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:11 ============ 2Ch 20:11 see how they are rewarding us by coming to drive us out from Chronicles 20:12 ============ 2Ch 20:12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You."(nasb) 2Ch 20:12 Deus noster, ergo non judicabis eos? in nobis quidem non est tanta fortitudo, ut possimus huic multitudini resistere, quæ irruit super nos. Denn in uns ist nicht Kraft gegen diesen großen Haufen, der wider uns kommt. Wir wissen nicht, was wir tun sollen; sondern unsre Augen sehen nach dir.(D) 2Ch 20:12 κύριε ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν οὐ κρινεῖς ἐν αὐτοῖς ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἡμῖν ἰσχὺς τοῦ ἀντιστῆναι πρὸς τὸ πλῆθος τὸ πολὺ τοῦτο τὸ ἐλθὸν ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς καὶ οὐκ οἴδαμεν τί ποιήσωμεν αὐτοῖς ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἐπὶ σοὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν(lxx) 2Ch 20:12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You."(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:13 ============ 2Ch 20:13 All Judah was standing before the Lord, with their infants, their wives and their children.(nasb) 2Ch 20:13 Omnis vero Juda stabat coram Domino cum parvulis, et uxoribus, et liberis suis.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 20:13 Y todo Judá estaba en pie delante de Jehová, con sus niños, sus esposas y sus hijos.(E) 2 Chroniques 20:13 Tout Juda se tenait debout devant l'Eternel, avec leurs petits enfants, leurs femmes et leurs fils.(F) 2Ch 20:13 Und das ganze Juda stand vor dem HERRN mit ihren Kindern, Weibern und Söhnen.(D) 2Ch 20:13 καὶ πᾶς Ιουδας ἑστηκὼς ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ τὰ παιδία αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες(lxx) 2Ch 20:13 Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:14 ============ 2Ch 20:14 Then in the midst of the assembly the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite of the sons of Asaph;(nasb) 2Ch 20:14 Erat autem Jahaziel filius Zachariæ filii Banaiæ filii Jehiel filii Mathaniæ, Levites de filiis Asaph, super quem factus est spiritus Domini, in medio turbæ,(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 20:14 y estaba allí Jahaziel hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Benaía, hijo de Jeiel, hijo de Matanías, levita de los hijos de Asaf, sobre el cual vino el Espíritu de Jehová en medio de la congregación,(E) 2 Chroniques 20:14 Alors l'esprit de l'Eternel saisit au milieu de l'assemblée Jachaziel, fils de Zacharie, fils de Benaja, fils de Jeïel, fils de Matthania, Lévite, d'entre les fils d'Asaph.(F) 2Ch 20:14 Aber auf Jahasiel, den Sohn Sacharjas, des Sohnes Benajas, des Sohnes Jehiels, des Sohnes Matthanjas, den Leviten aus den Kindern Asaph, kam der Geist des HERRN mitten in der Gemeinde,(D) 2Ch 20:14 καὶ τῷ Οζιηλ τῷ τοῦ Ζαχαριου τῶν υἱῶν Βαναιου τῶν υἱῶν Ελεηλ τοῦ Μανθανιου τοῦ Λευίτου ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ασαφ ἐγένετο ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν πνεῦμα κυρίου ἐν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ(lxx) 2Ch 20:14 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:15 ============ 2Ch 20:15 and he said, "Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the Lord to you, 'Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's.(nasb) 2Ch 20:15 et ait: Attendite, omnis Juda, et qui habitatis Jerusalem, et tu, rex Josaphat: hæc dicit Dominus vobis: Nolite timere, nec paveatis hanc multitudinem: non est enim vestra pugna, sed Dei.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 20:15 y dijo: Oíd, todo Judá, y vosotros moradores de Jerusalén, y tú, rey Josafat. Jehová os dice así: No temáis ni os amedrentéis delante de esta tan grande multitud; porque la batalla no [es] vuestra, sino de Dios.(E) 2 Chroniques 20:15 Et Jachaziel dit: Soyez attentifs, tout Juda et habitants de Jérusalem, et toi, roi Josaphat! Ainsi vous parle l'Eternel: Ne craignez point et ne vous effrayez point devant cette multitude nombreuse, car ce ne sera pas vous qui combattrez, ce sera Dieu.(F) 2Ch 20:15 und er sprach: Merkt auf, ganz Juda und ihr Einwohner zu Jerusalem und du, König Josaphat! So spricht der HERR zu euch: Ihr sollt euch nicht fürchten noch zagen vor diesem großen Haufen; denn ihr streitet nicht, sondern Gott.(D) 2Ch 20:15 καὶ εἶπεν ἀκούσατε πᾶς Ιουδα καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς Ιωσαφατ τάδε λέγει κύριος ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς μὴ φοβεῖσθε μηδὲ πτοηθῆτε ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ ὄχλου τοῦ πολλοῦ τούτου ὅτι οὐχ ὑμῖν ἐστιν ἡ παράταξις ἀλλ᾽ ἢ τῷ θεῷ(lxx) 2Ch 20:15 And he said, "Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: 'Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 20:16 ============ 2Ch 20:16 Tomorrow go down against them.
