We have heard with our ears, O God, Our fathers have told us, The deeds You did in their days, In days of old:(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:2 ============ Psa 44:2 You with Your own hand drove out the nations; Then You planted them; You afflicted the peoples, Then You spread them abroad.(nasb) Psa 44:2 [vulgate 43:2] Deus auribus nostris audivimus patres nostri narraverunt nobis opus quod operatus es in diebus eorum in diebus antiquis(vulgate) Salmos 44:2 Tú con tu mano echaste a las naciones, y los plantaste a ellos; afligiste a los pueblos, y los arrojaste.(E) Psaume 44:2 De ta main tu as chassé des nations pour les établir, Tu as frappé des peuples pour les étendre.(F) Psa 44:2 Du hast mit deiner Hand die Heiden vertrieben, aber sie hast du eingesetzt; du hast die Völker verderbt, aber sie hast du ausgebreitet.(D) Psa 44:2 ὁ θεός ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν ἡμῶν ἠκούσαμεν οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν ἀνήγγειλαν ἡμῖν ἔργον ὃ εἰργάσω ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτῶν ἐν ἡμέραις ἀρχαίαις(lxx) Psa 44:2 You drove out the nations with Your hand, But them You planted; You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:3 ============ Psa 44:3 For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them.(nasb) Psa 44:3 [vulgate 43:3] tu manu tua gentes delisti et plantasti eos adflixisti populos et emisisti eos(vulgate) Salmos 44:3 Porque no se apoderaron de la tierra por su espada, ni su brazo los libró; sino tu diestra, y tu brazo, y la luz de tu rostro, porque te complaciste en ellos.(E) Psaume 44:3 Car ce n'est point par leur épée qu'ils se sont emparés du pays, Ce n'est point leur bras qui les a sauvés; Mais c'est ta droite, c'est ton bras, c'est la lumière de ta face, Parce que tu les aimais.(F) Psa 44:3 Denn sie haben das Land nicht eingenommen durch ihr Schwert, und ihr Arm half ihnen nicht, sondern deine Rechte, dein Arm und das Licht deines Angesichts; denn du hattest Wohlgefallen an ihnen.(D) Psa 44:3 ἡ χείρ σου ἔθνη ἐξωλέθρευσεν καὶ κατεφύτευσας αὐτούς ἐκάκωσας λαοὺς καὶ ἐξέβαλες αὐτούς(lxx) Psa 44:3 For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:4 ============ Psa 44:4 You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob.(nasb) Psa 44:4 [vulgate 43:4] non enim in gladio suo possederunt terram neque brachium eorum salvavit eos sed dextera tua et brachium tuum et lux vultus tui quia conplacuisti tibi(vulgate) Salmos 44:4 Tú, oh Dios, eres mi Rey; manda salvación a Jacob.(E) Psaume 44:4 O Dieu! ἐπαινεσθησόμεθα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἐξομολογησόμεθα εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διάψαλμα(lxx) Psa 44:9 But You have cast us off and put us to shame, And You do not go out with our armies.(nkjv) κατῄσχυνας ἡμᾶς καὶ οὐκ ἐξελεύσῃ ἐν ταῖς δυνάμεσιν ἡμῶν(lxx) Psa 44:10 You make us turn back from the enemy, And those who hate us have taken spoil for themselves.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:11 ============ Psa 44:11 You give us as sheep to be eaten And have scattered us among the nations.(nasb) Psa 44:11 [vulgate 43:11] vertisti terga nostra hosti et qui oderant nos diripuerunt nos(vulgate) Salmos 44:11 Nos pusiste como a ovejas para comida, y nos esparciste entre las naciones.(E) Psaume 44:11 Tu nous livres comme des brebis à dévorer, Tu nous disperses parmi les nations.(F) Psa 44:11 Du lässest uns auffressen wie Schafe und zerstreuest uns unter die Heiden.(D) Psa 44:11 ἀπέστρεψας ἡμᾶς εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω παρὰ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ἡμῶν καὶ οἱ μισοῦντες ἡμᾶς διήρπαζον ἑαυτοῖς(lxx) Psa 44:11 You have given us up like sheep intended for food, And have scattered us among the nations.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:12 ============ Psa 44:12 You sell Your people cheaply, And have not profited by their sale.(nasb) Psa 44:12 [vulgate 43:12] dedisti nos quasi gregem ad vorandum et in gentibus dispersisti nos(vulgate) Salmos 44:12 Has vendido a tu pueblo de balde, y no acrecentaste [tu riqueza] con su precio.(E) Psaume 44:12 Tu vends ton peuple pour rien, Tu ne l'estimes pas à une grande valeur.(F) Psa 44:12 Du verkaufst dein Volk umsonst und nimmst nichts dafür.(D) Psa 44:12 ἔδωκας ἡμᾶς ὡς πρόβατα βρώσεως καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν διέσπειρας ἡμᾶς(lxx) Psa 44:12 You sell Your people for next to nothing, And are not enriched by selling them.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:13 ============ Psa 44:13 You make us a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and a derision to those around us.(nasb) Psa 44:13 [vulgate 43:13] vendidisti populum tuum sine pretio nec grandis fuit commutatio eorum(vulgate) Salmos 44:13 Nos pusiste por vergüenza a nuestros vecinos, por escarnio y por burla a los que nos rodean.(E) Psaume 44:13 Tu fais de nous un objet d'opprobre pour nos voisins, De moquerie et de risée pour ceux qui nous entourent;(F) Psa 44:13 Du machst uns zur Schmach unsern Nachbarn, zum Spott und Hohn denen, die um uns her sind.(D) Psa 44:13 ἀπέδου τὸν λαόν σου ἄνευ τιμῆς καὶ οὐκ ἦν πλῆθος ἐν τοῖς ἀλλάγμασιν αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 44:13 You make us a reproach to our neighbors, A scorn and a derision to those all around us.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:14 ============ Psa 44:14 You make us a byword among the nations, A 44:14 Du machst uns zum Beispiel unter den Heiden und daß die Völker das Haupt über uns schütteln.(D) Psa 44:14 ἔθου ἡμᾶς ὄνειδος τοῖς γείτοσιν ἡμῶν μυκτηρισμὸν καὶ καταγέλωτα τοῖς κύκλῳ ἡμῶν(lxx) Psa 44:14 You make us a byword among the nations, A shaking of the head among the peoples.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:15 ============ Psa 44:15 All day long my dishonor is before me And my humiliation has overwhelmed me,(nasb) Psa 44:15 [vulgate 43:15] posuisti nos similitudinem in gentibus commotionem capitis in tribubus(vulgate) Salmos 44:15 Cada día mi vergüenza está delante de mí, y me cubre la 44:15 ἔθου ἡμᾶς εἰς παραβολὴν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν κίνησιν κεφαλῆς ἐν τοῖς λαοῖς(lxx) Psa 44:15 My dishonor is continually before me, And the shame of my face has covered me,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:16 ============ Psa 44:16 Because of the voice of him who reproaches and reviles, Because of the presence of the enemy and the avenger.(nasb) Psa 44:16 [vulgate 43:16] tota die confusio mea contra me et ignominia faciei meae cooperuit me(vulgate) Salmos 44:16 por la voz del que me injuria y vitupera, por razón del enemigo y del vengativo.(E) Psaume 44:16 A la voix de celui qui m'insulte et m'outrage, ἐν διαθήκῃ σου(lxx) Psa 44:18 Our heart has not turned back, Nor have our steps departed from Your way;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:19 ============ Psa 44:19 Yet You have crushed us in a place of jackals And covered us with the shadow of death.(nasb) Psa 44:19 [vulgate 43:19] non est conversum retro cor nostrum nec declinaverunt gressus nostri a semita tua(vulgate) Salmos 44:19 aunque nos quebrantaste en el lugar de los dragones y nos cubriste con sombra de muerte.(E) Psaume 44:19 Pour que tu nous écrases dans la demeure des chacals, Et que tu nous couvres de l'ombre de la mort.(F) Psa 44:19 daß du uns so zerschlägst am Ort der Schakale und bedeckst uns mit Finsternis.(D) Psa 44:19 καὶ οὐκ ἀπέστη εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω ἡ καρδία ἡμῶν καὶ ἐξέκλινας τὰς τρίβους ἡμῶν ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ σου(lxx) Psa 44:19 But You have severely broken us in the place of jackals, And covered us with the shadow of death.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:20 ============ Psa 44:20 If we had forgotten the name of our God Or extended our hands to a strange god,(nasb) Psa 44:20 [vulgate 43:20] quoniam deiecisti nos in loco draconum et operuisti nos umbra mortis(vulgate) Salmos 44:20 Si nos hubiésemos olvidado del nombre de nuestro Dios, o extendido nuestras manos a dios ajeno,(E) Psaume 44:20 Si nous avions oublié le nom de notre Dieu, Et étendu nos mains vers un dieu étranger,(F) Psa 44:20 Wenn wir des Namens unsers Gottes vergessen hätten und unsre Hände aufgehoben zum fremden Gott,(D) Psa 44:20 ὅτι ἐταπείνωσας ἡμᾶς ἐν τόπῳ κακώσεως καὶ ἐπεκάλυψεν ἡμᾶς σκιὰ θανάτου(lxx) Psa 44:20 If we had forgotten the name of our God, Or stretched out our hands to a foreign god,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 44:21 ============ Psa 44:21 Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.(nasb) Psa 44:21 [vulgate 43:21] si obliti sumus nominis Dei nostri et expandimus manus nostras ad deum alienum(vulgate) Salmos 44:21 ¿No demandaría Dios esto?
