of all that comes out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:11 ============ Gen 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth."(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:12 ============ Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:(KJV) Genesis 9:12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.(Geneva) Genèse 9:12 Et Dieu dit: C'est ici le signe de l'alliance que j'établis entre moi et vous, et tous les êtres vivants qui sont avec vous, pour les générations à toujours:(FR) 12 ׃9 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים זֹ֤את אֽוֹת־הַבְּרִית֙ אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֣י נֹתֵ֗ן בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֛ין כָּל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ חַיָּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתְּכֶ֑ם לְדֹרֹ֖ת עוֹלָֽם׃ Genesis Gen 9:12 God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; (nasb) ======= Genesis 9:13 ============ Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.(KJV) Genesis 9:13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.(Geneva) Genèse 9:13 j'ai placé mon arc dans la nue, et il servira de signe d'alliance entre moi et la terre.(FR) 13 ׃9 אֶת־קַשְׁתִּ֕י נָתַ֖תִּי בֶּֽעָנָ֑ן וְהָֽיְתָה֙ לְא֣וֹת בְּרִ֔ית בֵּינִ֖י וּבֵ֥ין הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Genesis Gen 9:13 I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:14 ============ Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:(KJV) Genesis 9:14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,(Geneva) Genèse 9:14 Quand j'aurai rassemblé des nuages au-dessus de la terre, l'arc paraîtra dans la nue;(FR) 14 ׃9 וְהָיָ֕ה בְּעֽ͏ַנְנִ֥י עָנָ֖ן עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְנִרְאֲתָ֥ה הַקֶּ֖שֶׁת בֶּעָנָֽן׃ Genesis Gen 9:14 It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud,(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:15 ============ Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.(KJV) Genesis 9:15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.(Geneva) Genèse 9:15 et je me souviendrai de mon alliance entre moi et vous, et tous les êtres vivants, de toute chair, et les eaux ne deviendront plus un déluge pour détruire toute chair.(FR) 15 ׃9 וְזָכַרְתִּ֣י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֤ר בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֛ין כָּל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ חַיָּ֖ה בְּכָל־בָּשָׂ֑ר וְלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶ֨ה ע֤וֹד הַמַּ֙יִם֙ לְמַבּ֔וּל לְשַׁחֵ֖ת כָּל־בָּשָֽׂר׃ Genesis Gen 9:15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:16 ============ Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.(KJV) Genesis 9:16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.(Geneva) Genèse 9:16 L'arc sera dans la nue; Cham fut le père de Canaan.(FR) 18 ׃9 וַיִּֽהְי֣וּ בְנֵי־נֹ֗חַ הַיֹּֽצְאִים֙ מִן־הַתֵּבָ֔ה שֵׁ֖ם וְחָ֣ם וָיָ֑פֶת וְחָ֕ם ה֖וּא אֲבִ֥י כְנָֽעַן׃ Genesis Gen 9:18 Now the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:19 ============ Gen 9:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.(KJV) Genesis 9:19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.(Geneva) Genèse 9:19 Ce sont là les trois fils de Noé, et c'est leur postérité qui peupla toute la terre.(FR) 19 ׃9 שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵי־נֹ֑חַ וּמֵאֵ֖לֶּה נָֽפְצָ֥ה כָל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Genesis Gen 9:19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:20 ============ Gen 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:(KJV) Genesis 9:20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.(Geneva) Genèse 9:20 Noé commença à cultiver la terre, et planta de la vigne.(FR) 20 ׃9 וַיָּ֥חֶל נֹ֖חַ אִ֣ישׁ הֽ͏ָאֲדָמָ֑ה וַיִּטַּ֖ע כָּֽרֶם׃ Genesis Gen 9:20 Then Noah began farming and planted a vineyard.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:21 ============ Gen 9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.(KJV) Genesis 9:21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, & was vncouered in the middes of his tent.(Geneva) Genèse 9:21 Il but du vin, s'enivra, et se découvrit au milieu de sa tente.(FR) 21 ׃9 וַיֵּ֥שְׁתְּ מִן־הַיַּ֖יִן וַיִּשְׁכָּ֑ר וַיִּתְגַּ֖ל בְּת֥וֹךְ אָהֳלֹֽה׃ Genesis Gen 9:21 He drank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself inside his tent.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:22 ============ Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.(KJV) Genesis 9:22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.(Geneva) Genèse 9:22 Cham, père de Canaan, vit la nudité de son père, et il le rapporta dehors à ses deux frères.(FR) 22 ׃9 וַיַּ֗רְא חָ֚ם אֲבִ֣י כְנַ֔עַן אֵ֖ת עֶרְוַ֣ת אָבִ֑יו וַיַּגֵּ֥ד לִשְׁנֵֽי־אֶחָ֖יו בַּחֽוּץ׃ Genesis Gen 9:22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:23 ============ Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.(KJV) Genesis 9:23 Then tooke Shem & Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.(Geneva) Genèse 9:23 Alors Sem et Japhet prirent le manteau, le mirent sur leurs épaules, marchèrent à reculons, et couvrirent la nudité de leur père; comme leur visage était détourné, ils ne virent point la nudité de leur père.(FR) 23 ׃9 וַיִּקַּח֩ שֵׁ֨ם וָיֶ֜פֶת אֶת־הַשִּׂמְלָ֗ה וַיָּשִׂ֙ימוּ֙ עַל־שְׁכֶ֣ם שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית וַיְכַסּ֕וּ אֵ֖ת עֶרְוַ֣ת אֲבִיהֶ֑ם וּפְנֵיהֶם֙ אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית וְעֶרְוַ֥ת אֲבִיהֶ֖ם לֹ֥א רָאֽוּ׃ Genesis Gen 9:23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it upon both their shoulders and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned away, so that they did not see their father's nakedness.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:24 ============ Gen 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.(KJV) Genesis 9:24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,(Geneva) Genèse 9:24 Lorsque Noé se réveilla de son vin, il apprit ce que lui avait fait son fils cadet.(FR) 24 ׃9 וַיִּ֥יקֶץ נֹ֖חַ מִיֵּינ֑וֹ וַיֵּ֕דַע אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־עָ֥שָׂה־ל֖וֹ בְּנ֥וֹ הַקָּטָֽן׃ Genesis Gen 9:24 When Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him.(nasb) ======= Genesis 9:25 ============ Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.(KJV) Genesis 9:25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.(Geneva) Genèse 9:25 Et il dit: Maudit soit Canaan!
