(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:2 ============ 2Ki 24:2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:2 And the Lorde sent against him bandes of the Caldees, and bands of the Aramites, & bands of the Moabites, and bandes of the Ammonites, and he sent them against Iudah to destroy it, according to the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruants the Prophets.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:2 Alors l'Eternel envoya contre Jojakim des troupes de Chaldéens, des troupes de Syriens, des troupes de Moabites et des troupes d'Ammonites; il les envoya contre Juda pour le détruire, selon la parole que l'Eternel avait prononcée par ses serviteurs les prophètes.(FR) 2 ׃24 וַיְשַׁלַּ֣ח יְהוָ֣ה ׀ בּ֡וֹ אֶת־גְּדוּדֵ֣י כַשְׂדִּים֩ וְאֶת־גְּדוּדֵ֨י אֲרָ֜ם וְאֵ֣ת ׀ גְּדוּדֵ֣י מוֹאָ֗ב וְאֵת֙ גְּדוּדֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֔וֹן וַיְשַׁלְּחֵ֥ם בִּֽיהוּדָ֖ה לְהַֽאֲבִיד֑וֹ כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֔ר בְּיַ֖ד עֲבָדָ֥יו הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:2 The Lord sent against him bands of Chaldeans, bands of Arameans, bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. So He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord which He had spoken through His servants the prophets. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:3 ============ 2Ki 24:3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;(KJV) 2 Kings 24:3 Surely by the commaundement of the Lorde came this vpon Iudah, that he might put them out of his sight for the sinnes of Manasseh, according to all that he did,(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:3 Cela arriva uniquement sur l'ordre de l'Eternel, qui voulait ôter Juda de devant sa face, à cause de tous les péchés commis par Manassé,(FR) 3 ׃24 אַ֣ךְ ׀ עַל־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֗ה הָֽיְתָה֙ בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה לְהָסִ֖יר מֵעַ֣ל פָּנָ֑יו בְּחַטֹּ֣את מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה כְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:3 Surely at the command of the Lord it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:4 ============ 2Ki 24:4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:4 And for the innocent blood that he shed, (for he filled Ierusalem with innocent blood) therefore the Lord would not pardon it.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:4 et à cause du sang innocent qu'avait répandu Manassé et dont il avait rempli Jérusalem. Aussi l'Eternel ne voulut-il point pardonner.(FR) 4 ׃24 וְגַ֤ם דַּֽם־הַנָּקִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁפָ֔ךְ וַיְמַלֵּ֥א אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם דָּ֣ם נָקִ֑י וְלֹֽא־אָבָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לִסְלֹֽחַ׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:4 and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the Lord would not forgive. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:7 ============ 2Ki 24:7 And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:7 And the King of Egypt came no more out of his lande: for the King of Babel had taken from the riuer of Egypt, vnto the riuer Perath, all that pertained to the King of Egypt.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:7 Le roi d'Egypte ne sortit plus de son pays, car le roi de Babylone avait pris tout ce qui était au roi d'Egypte depuis le torrent d'Egypte jusqu'au fleuve de l'Euphrate.(FR) 7 ׃24 וְלֹֽא־הֹסִ֥יף עוֹד֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם לָצֵ֖את מֵֽאַרְצ֑וֹ כִּֽי־לָקַ֞ח מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֗ל מִנַּ֤חַל מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־נְהַר־פְּרָ֔ת כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיְתָ֖ה לְמֶ֥לֶךְ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ פ Kings2 2Ki 24:7 The king of Egypt did not come out of his land again, for the king of Babylon had taken all that belonged to the king of Egypt from the brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:8 ============ 2Ki 24:8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:8 Iehoiachin was eighteene yere old, when he beganne to reigne, and reigned in Ierusalem three moneths. His mothers name also was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Ierusalem.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:8 Jojakin avait dix-huit ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna trois mois à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Nehuschtha, fille d'Elnathan, de Jérusalem.(FR) 8 ׃24 בֶּן־שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה שָׁנָה֙ יְהוֹיָכִ֣ין בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה חֳדָשִׁ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ נְחֻשְׁתָּ֥א בַת־אֶלְנָתָ֖ן מִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:9 ============ 2Ki 24:9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:9 And he did euill in the sight of the Lorde, according to all that his father had done.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:9 Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Eternel, entièrement comme avait fait son père.(FR) 9 ׃24 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖ה אָבִֽיו׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:9 He did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:10 ============ 2Ki 24:10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:10 In that time came the seruants of Nebuchad-nezzar king of Babel vp against Ierusalem: so the citie was besieged.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:10 En ce temps-là, les serviteurs de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, montèrent contre Jérusalem, et la ville fut assiégée.(FR) 10 ׃24 בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔יא *עלה **עָל֗וּ עַבְדֵ֛י נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וַתָּבֹ֥א הָעִ֖יר בַּמָּצֽוֹר׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon went up to Jerusalem, and the city came under siege. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:12 ============ 2Ki 24:12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:12 Then Iehoiachin the king of Iudah came out against the King of Babel, he, and his mother and his seruants, and his princes, & his eunuches: and the King of Babel tooke him in the eyght yeere of his reigne.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:12 Alors Jojakin, roi de Juda, se rendit auprès du roi de Babylone, avec sa mère, ses serviteurs, ses chefs et ses eunuques. So the king of Babylon took him captive in the eighth year of his reign. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:13 ============ 2Ki 24:13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:13 And he caryed out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lorde, & the treasures of the Kings house, and brake all the vessels of gold, which Salomon King of Israel had made in the Temple of the Lorde, as the Lord had saide.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:13 Il tira de là tous les trésors de la maison de l'Eternel et les trésors de la maison du roi; et il brisa tous les ustensiles d'or que Salomon, roi d'Israël, avait faits dans le temple de l'Eternel, comme l'Eternel l'avait prononcé.(FR) 13 ׃24 וַיּוֹצֵ֣א מִשָּׁ֗ם אֶת־כָּל־אוֹצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְאֽוֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיְקַצֵּ֞ץ אֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י הַזָּהָ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֜ה שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּהֵיכַ֣ל יְהוָ֔ה כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:13 He carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, just as the Lord had said. None remained except the poorest people of the land.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:15 ============ 2Ki 24:15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:15 And he caryed away Iehoiachin into Babel, and the Kings mother, and the Kinges wiues, and his eunuches, and the mightie of the lande caryed he away into captiuitie from Ierusalem to Babel,(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:15 Il transporta Jojakin à Babylone; et il emmena captifs de Jérusalem à Babylone la mère du roi, les femmes du roi et ses eunuques, et les grands du pays,(FR) 15 ׃24 וַיֶּ֥גֶל אֶת־יְהוֹיָכִ֖ין בָּבֶ֑לָה וְאֶת־אֵ֣ם הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ וְאֶת־נְשֵׁ֨י הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ וְאֶת־סָרִיסָ֗יו וְאֵת֙ *אולי **אֵילֵ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ הוֹלִ֛יךְ גּוֹלָ֥ה מִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:15 So he led Jehoiachin away into exile to Babylon; also the king's mother and the king's wives and his officials and the leading men of the land, he led away into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:16 ============ 2Ki 24:16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:16 And al the men of warre, euen seuen thousand, and carpenters, & lockesmithes a thousande: all that were strong and apt for warre, did the King of Babel bring to Babel captiues.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:16 tous les guerriers au nombre de sept mille, et les charpentiers et les serruriers au nombre de mille, tous hommes vaillants et propres à la guerre. Le roi de Babylone les emmena captifs à Babylone.(FR) 16 ׃24 וְאֵת֩ כָּל־אַנְשֵׁ֨י הַחַ֜יִל שִׁבְעַ֣ת אֲלָפִ֗ים וְהֶחָרָ֤שׁ וְהַמַּסְגֵּר֙ אֶ֔לֶף הַכֹּ֕ל גִּבּוֹרִ֖ים עֹשֵׂ֣י מִלְחָמָ֑ה וַיְבִיאֵ֧ם מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל גּוֹלָ֖ה בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:16 All the men of valor, seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths, one thousand, all strong and fit for war, and these the king of Babylon brought into exile to Babylon.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:17 ============ 2Ki 24:17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:17 And the King of Babel made Mattaniah his vncle King in his steade, and changed his name to Zedekiah.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:17 Et le roi de Babylone établit roi, à la place de Jojakin, Matthania, son oncle, dont il changea le nom en celui de Sédécias.(FR) 17 ׃24 וַיַּמְלֵ֧ךְ מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל אֶת־מַתַּנְיָ֥ה דֹד֖וֹ תַּחְתָּ֑יו וַיַּסֵּ֥ב אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ צִדְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ פ Kings2 2Ki 24:17 Then the king of Babylon made his uncle Mattaniah king in his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:18 ============ 2Ki 24:18 Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.(KJV) 2 Kings 24:18 Zedekiah was one and twentie yeere olde, when he began to reigne, and he reigned eleuen yeeres in Ierusalem. His mothers name also was Hamutal the daughter of Ieremiah of Libnah.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:18 Sédécias avait vingt et un ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Hamuthal, fille de Jérémie, de Libna.(FR) 18 ׃24 בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְאַחַ֤ת שָׁנָה֙ צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ בְמָלְכ֔וֹ וְאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ *חמיטל **חֲמוּטַ֥ל בַּֽת־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ מִלִּבְנָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 24:18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 24:20 ============ 2Ki 24:20 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.(kjv) 2 Kings 24:20 Therefore certainly the wrath of the Lord was against Ierusalem and Iudah vntill he cast them out of his sight; Zedekiah rebelled against the King of Babel.(Geneva) 2 Rois 24:20 Et cela arriva à cause de la colère de l'Eternel contre Jérusalem et contre Juda, qu'il voulait rejeter de devant sa face. Et Sédécias se révolta contre le roi de Babylone.(FR) 20 ׃24 כִּ֣י ׀ עַל־אַ֣ף יְהוָ֗ה הָיְתָ֤ה בִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ וּבִ֣יהוּדָ֔ה עַד־הִשְׁלִכ֥וֹ אֹתָ֖ם מֵעַ֣ל פָּנָ֑יו וַיִּמְרֹ֥ד צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּמֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ ס Kings2 2Ki 24:20 For through the anger of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah until He cast them out from His presence.
