And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:1 About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto death: and the Prophet Isaiah the sonne of Amoz came to him, and said vnto him, Thus saith the Lorde, Put thine house in an order: for thou shalt die, and not liue.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:1 En ce temps-là, Ezéchias fut malade à la mort. Le prophète Esaïe, fils d'Amots, vint auprès de lui, et lui dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Donne tes ordres à ta maison, car tu vas mourir, et tu ne vivras plus.(FR) 1 ׃20 בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם חָלָ֥ה חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ לָמ֑וּת וַיָּבֹ֣א אֵ֠לָיו יְשַׁעְיָ֨הוּ בֶן־אָמ֜וֹץ הַנָּבִ֗יא וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ צַ֣ו לְבֵיתֶ֔ךָ כִּ֛י מֵ֥ת אַתָּ֖ה וְלֹ֥א תִֽחְיֶֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Hezekiah wept sore.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:3 I beseech thee, O Lorde, remember nowe, howe I haue walked before thee in trueth and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:3 O Eternel! souviens-toi que j'ai marché devant ta face avec fidélité et intégrité de coeur, et que j'ai fait ce qui est bien à tes yeux! Et Ezéchias répandit d'abondantes larmes.(FR) 3 ׃20 אָנָּ֣ה יְהוָ֗ה זְכָר־נָ֞א אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר הִתְהַלַּ֣כְתִּי לְפָנֶ֗יךָ בֶּֽאֱמֶת֙ וּבְלֵבָ֣ב שָׁלֵ֔ם וְהַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ עָשִׂ֑יתִי וַיֵּ֥בְךְּ חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּכִ֥י גָדֽוֹל׃ ס Kings2 2Ki 20:3 "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart and have done what is good in Your sight." Voici, je te guérirai; le troisième jour, tu monteras à la maison de l'Eternel.(FR) 5 ׃20 שׁ֣וּב וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ נְגִיד־עַמִּ֗י כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵי֙ דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֔יךָ שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙ אֶת־תְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָ רָאִ֖יתִי אֶת־דִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָ הִנְנִי֙ רֹ֣פֶא לָ֔ךְ בַּיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י תַּעֲלֶ֖ה בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:5 "Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:6 ============ 2Ki 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:6 And I wil adde vnto thy dayes fiftene yere, and wil deliuer thee & this citie out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and will defende this citie for mine owne sake, & for Dauid my seruats sake.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:6 J'ajouterai à tes jours quinze années. Je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d'Assyrie; je protégerai cette ville, à cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur.(FR) 6 ׃20 וְהֹסַפְתִּ֣י עַל־יָמֶ֗יךָ חֲמֵ֤שׁ עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּמִכַּ֤ף מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁוּר֙ אַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔ וְאֵ֖ת הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֑את וְגַנּוֹתִי֙ עַל־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י וּלְמַ֖עַן דָּוִ֥ד עַבְדִּֽי׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:6 I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David's sake."'"(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:7 ============ 2Ki 20:7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:7 Then Isaiah sayde, Take a lumpe of dry figges; they tooke it, and layed it on the boyle, and he recouered.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:7 Esaïe dit: Prenez une masse de figues. On la prit, et on l'appliqua sur l'ulcère. Et Ezéchias guérit.(FR) 7 ׃20 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ קְח֖וּ דְּבֶ֣לֶת תְּאֵנִ֑ים וַיִּקְח֛וּ וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ עַֽל־הַשְּׁחִ֖ין וַיֶּֽחִי׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:7 Then Isaiah said, "Take a cake of figs." And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:8 ============ 2Ki 20:8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?(KJV) 2 Kings 20:8 For Hezekiah had saide vnto Isaiah, What shalbe the signe that the Lorde will heale me, and that I shall goe vp into the house of the Lorde the thirde day?(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:8 Ezéchias avait dit à Esaïe: A quel signe connaîtrai-je que l'Eternel me guérira, et que je monterai le troisième jour à la maison de l'Eternel?(FR) 8 ׃20 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֶֽל־יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ מָ֣ה א֔וֹת כִּֽי־יִרְפָּ֥א יְהוָ֖ה לִ֑י וְעָלִ֛יתִי בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:8 Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?"(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:9 ============ 2Ki 20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?(KJV) 2 Kings 20:9 And Isaiah answered, This signe shalt thou haue of the Lorde, that the Lorde will doe that he hath spoken, Wilt thou that the shadowe goe forwarde ten degrees, or go backe ten degrees?(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:9 Et Esaïe dit: Voici, de la part de l'Eternel, le signe auquel tu connaîtras que l'Eternel accomplira la parole qu'il a prononcée: L'ombre avancera-t-elle de dix degrés, ou reculera-t-elle de dix degrés?(FR) 9 ׃20 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְשַׁעְיָ֗הוּ זֶה־לְּךָ֤ הָאוֹת֙ מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה כִּ֚י יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה אֶת־הַדָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֵּ֑ר הָלַ֤ךְ הַצֵּל֙ עֶ֣שֶׂר מַֽעֲל֔וֹת אִם־יָשׁ֖וּב עֶ֥שֶׂר מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:9 Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?"(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:10 ============ 2Ki 20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadowe to passe forward ten degrees: not so then, but let ye shadow go backe ten degrees.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:10 Ezéchias répondit: C'est peu de chose que l'ombre avance de dix degrés; mais plutôt qu'elle recule de dix degrés.(FR) 10 ׃20 וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ יְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ נָקֵ֣ל לַצֵּ֔ל לִנְט֖וֹת עֶ֣שֶׂר מַעֲל֑וֹת לֹ֣א כִ֔י יָשׁ֥וּב הַצֵּ֛ל אֲחֹרַנִּ֖ית עֶ֥שֶׂר מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:10 So Hezekiah answered, "It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:11 ============ 2Ki 20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:11 And Isaiah the Prophet called vnto the Lorde, and he brought againe the shadowe ten degrees backe by the degrees whereby it had gone downe in the diall of Ahaz.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:11 Alors Esaïe, le prophète, invoqua l'Eternel, qui fit reculer l'ombre de dix degrés sur les degrés d'Achaz, où elle était descendue.(FR) 11 ׃20 וַיִּקְרָ֛א יְשַׁעְיָ֥הוּ הַנָּבִ֖יא אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּ֣שֶׁב אֶת־הַצֵּ֗ל בַּֽ֠מַּעֲלוֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרְדָ֜ה בְּמַעֲל֥וֹת אָחָ֛ז אֲחֹֽרַנִּ֖ית עֶ֥שֶׂר מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ פ Kings2 2Ki 20:11 Isaiah the prophet cried to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz. (nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:12 ============ 2Ki 20:12 At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:12 The same season Berodach Baladan the sonne of Baladan King of Babel, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard howe that Hezekiah was sicke.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:12 En ce même temps, Berodac-Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ezéchias, car il avait appris la maladie d'Ezéchias.(FR) 12 ׃20 בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֡יא שָׁלַ֡ח בְּרֹאדַ֣ךְ בַּ֠לְאֲדָן בֶּֽן־בַּלְאֲדָ֧ן מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל סְפָרִ֥ים וּמִנְחָ֖ה אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ כִּ֣י שָׁמַ֔ע כִּ֥י חָלָ֖ה חִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:12 At that time Berodach-baladan a son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:13 ============ 2Ki 20:13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:13 And Hezekiah heard them, and shewed them all his treasure house, to wit, the siluer, and the golde, and the spices, and the precious oyntment, and all the house of his armour, and al that was founde in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, and in all his realme, that Hezekiah shewed them not.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:13 Ezéchias donna audience aux envoyés, et il leur montra le lieu où étaient ses choses de prix, l'argent et l'or, les aromates et l'huile précieuse, son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors: il n'y eut rien qu'Ezéchias ne leur fît voir dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines.(FR) 13 ׃20 וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע עֲלֵיהֶם֮ חִזְקִיָּהוּ֒ וַיַּרְאֵ֣ם אֶת־כָּל־בֵּ֣ית נְכֹתֹ֡ה אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף֩ וְאֶת־הַזָּהָ֨ב וְאֶת־הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַטּ֗וֹב וְאֵת֙ בֵּ֣ית כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִמְצָ֖א בְּאֽוֹצְרֹתָ֑יו לֹֽא־הָיָ֣ה דָבָ֗ר אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹֽא־הֶרְאָ֧ם חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ בְּבֵית֖וֹ וּבְכָל־מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:13 Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all his treasure house, the silver and the gold and the spices and the precious oil and the house of his armor and all that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:14 ============ 2Ki 20:14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:14 Then Isaiah the Prophet came vnto King Hezekiah, and saide vnto him, What saide these men? and from whence came they to thee? Ezéchias répondit: Ils sont venus d'un pays éloigné, de Babylone.(FR) 14 ׃20 וַיָּבֹא֙ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֔יא אֶל־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו מָ֥ה אָמְר֣וּ ׀ הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ יָבֹ֣אוּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ מֵאֶ֧רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֛ה בָּ֖אוּ מִבָּבֶֽל׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:14 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where have they come to you?" And Hezekiah said, "They have come from a far country, from Babylon."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:15 ============ 2Ki 20:15 And he said, What have they seen in thine house? Ezéchias répondit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison: il n'y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie fait voir.(FR) 15 ׃20 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מָ֥ה רָא֖וּ בְּבֵיתֶ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ אֵ֣ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּבֵיתִי֙ רָא֔וּ לֹא־הָיָ֥ה דָבָ֛ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־הִרְאִיתִ֖ם בְּאֹצְרֹתָֽי׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:15 He said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:16 ============ 2Ki 20:16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:16 And Isaiah said vnto Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lorde.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:16 Alors Esaïe dit à Ezéchias: Ecoute la parole de l'Eternel!(FR) 16 ׃20 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ שְׁמַ֖ע דְּבַר־יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:16 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:17 ============ 2Ki 20:17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:17 Beholde, the dayes come, that all that is in thine house, and what so euer thy fathers haue layed vp in store vnto this day, shall be caryed into Babel: Nothing shall be left, saith the Lorde.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:17 Voici, les temps viendront où l'on emportera à Babylone tout ce qui est dans ta maison et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu'à ce jour; il n'en restera rien, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 17 ׃20 הִנֵּה֮ יָמִ֣ים בָּאִים֒ וְנִשָּׂ֣א ׀ כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר אָצְר֧וּ אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ עַד־הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה בָּבֶ֑לָה לֹֽא־יִוָּתֵ֥ר דָּבָ֖ר אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:17 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and all that your fathers have laid up in store to this day will be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the Lord.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:18 ============ 2Ki 20:18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.(KJV) 2 Kings 20:18 And of thy sonnes, that shall proceede out of thee, and which thou shalt beget, shall they take away, and they shalbe eunuches in the palace of the King of Babel.(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:18 Et l'on prendra de tes fils, qui seront sortis de toi, que tu auras engendrés, pour en faire des eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone.(FR) 18 ׃20 וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵצְא֧וּ מִמְּךָ֛ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תּוֹלִ֖יד *יקח **יִקָּ֑חוּ וְהָיוּ֙ סָֽרִיסִ֔ים בְּהֵיכַ֖ל מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ Kings2 2Ki 20:18 'Some of your sons who shall issue from you, whom you will beget, will be taken away; and they will become officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.'"(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 20:19 ============ 2Ki 20:19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?(KJV) 2 Kings 20:19 Then Hezekiah said vnto Isaiah, The word of the Lord which thou hast spoken, is good: for saide he, Shall it not be good, if peace and trueth be in my dayes?(Geneva) 2 Rois 20:19 Ezéchias répondit à Esaïe: La parole de l'Eternel, que tu as prononcée, est bonne.
