Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 27:1 ============ Jer 27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,(KJV) Jeremiah 27:1 In the beginning of the reigne of Iehoiakim the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah came this worde vnto Ieremiah from the Lorde, saying,(Geneva) Jérémie 27:1 Au commencement du règne de Jojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, cette parole fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Eternel, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃27 בְּרֵאשִׁ֗ית מַמְלֶ֛כֶת יְהוֹיָקִ֥ם בֶּן־יֹאושִׁיָּ֖הוּ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה הָיָ֞ה הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔ה מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying - (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:2 ============ Jer 27:2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,(KJV) Jeremiah 27:2 Thus saith the Lorde to me, Make thee bonds, and yokes, & put them vpon thy necke,(Geneva) Jérémie 27:2 Ainsi m'a parlé l'Eternel: Fais-toi des liens et des jougs, et mets-les sur ton cou.(FR) 2 ׃27 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י עֲשֵׂ֣ה לְךָ֔ מוֹסֵר֖וֹת וּמֹט֑וֹת וּנְתַתָּ֖ם עַל־צַוָּארֶֽךָ׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:2 thus says the Lord to me - "Make for yourself bonds and yokes and put them on your neck, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:3 ============ Jer 27:3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;(KJV) Jeremiah 27:3 And send them to the King of Edom, and to the King of Moab, & to the King of the Ammonites, and to the King of Tyrus, & to the king of Zidon, by the hande of the messengers which come to Ierusale vnto Zedekiah ye king of Iudah,(Geneva) Jérémie 27:3 Envoie-les au roi d'Edom, au roi de Moab, au roi des enfants d'Ammon, au roi de Tyr et au roi de Sidon, par les envoyés qui sont venus à Jérusalem auprès de Sédécias, roi de Juda,(FR) 3 ׃27 וְשִׁלַּחְתָּם֩ אֶל־מֶ֨לֶךְ אֱד֜וֹם וְאֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ מוֹאָ֗ב וְאֶל־מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן וְאֶל־מֶ֥לֶךְ צֹ֖ר וְאֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ צִיד֑וֹן בְּיַ֤ד מַלְאָכִים֙ הַבָּאִ֣ים יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם אֶל־צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:3 and send word to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the sons of Ammon, to the king of Tyre and to the king of Sidon by the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:4 ============ Jer 27:4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;(KJV) Jeremiah 27:4 And commande them to saye vnto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Thus shall ye say vnto your masters,(Geneva) Jérémie 27:4 et à qui tu donneras mes ordres pour leurs maîtres, en disant: Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici ce que vous direz à vos maîtres:(FR) 4 ׃27 וְצִוִּיתָ֣ אֹתָ֔ם אֶל־אֲדֹֽנֵיהֶ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כֹּ֥ה תֹֽאמְר֖וּ אֶל־אֲדֹֽנֵיכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:4 Command them to go to their masters, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to your masters, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:5 ============ Jer 27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:5 I haue made the earth, the ma, and the beast that are vpon the groud, by my great power, and by my outstreched arme, and haue giuen it vnto whom it pleased me.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:5 C'est moi qui ai fait la terre, les hommes et les animaux qui sont sur la terre, par ma grande puissance et par mon bras étendu, et je donne la terre à qui cela me plaît.(FR) 5 ׃27 אָנֹכִ֞י עָשִׂ֣יתִי אֶת־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֶת־הָאָדָ֤ם וְאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָה֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הָאָ֔רֶץ בְּכֹחִי֙ הַגָּד֔וֹל וּבִזְרוֹעִ֖י הַנְּטוּיָ֑ה וּנְתַתִּ֕יהָ לַאֲשֶׁ֖ר יָשַׁ֥ר בְּעֵינָֽי׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:5 "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:6 ============ Jer 27:6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:6 But nowe I haue giuen all these landes into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar the King of Babel my seruant, and the beastes of the fielde haue I also giuen him to serue him.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:6 Maintenant je livre tous ces pays entre les mains de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, mon serviteur; je lui donne aussi les animaux des champs, pour qu'ils lui soient assujettis.(FR) 6 ׃27 וְעַתָּ֗ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ נָתַ֙תִּי֙ אֶת־כָּל־הָאֲרָצ֣וֹת הָאֵ֔לֶּה בְּיַ֛ד נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל עַבְדִּ֑י וְגַם֙ אֶת־חַיַּ֣ת הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה נָתַ֥תִּי ל֖וֹ לְעָבְדֽוֹ׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:6 Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have given him also the wild animals of the field to serve him. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:7 ============ Jer 27:7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:7 And all nations shall serue him, and his sonne, and his sonnes sonne vntill the very time of his lande come also: then many nations and great Kinges shall serue themselues of him.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:7 Toutes les nations lui seront soumises, à lui, à son fils, et au fils de son fils, jusqu'à ce que le temps de son pays arrive, et que des nations puissantes et de grands rois l'asservissent.(FR) 7 ׃27 וְעָבְד֤וּ אֹתוֹ֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאֶת־בְּנ֖וֹ וְאֶֽת־בֶּן־בְּנ֑וֹ עַ֣ד בֹּא־עֵ֤ת אַרְצוֹ֙ גַּם־ה֔וּא וְעָ֤בְדוּ בוֹ֙ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים וּמְלָכִ֖ים גְּדֹלִֽים׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:7 All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will make him their servant. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:8 ============ Jer 27:8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:8 And the nation and kingdome which will not serue the same Nebuchad-nezzar king of Babel, and that will not put their necke vnder the yoke of the King of Babel, the same nation will I visite, saith the Lord, with the sworde, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, vntill I haue wholy giuen them into his hands.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:8 Si une nation, si un royaume ne se soumet pas à lui, à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et ne livre pas son cou au joug du roi de Babylone, je châtierai cette nation par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste, dit l'Eternel, jusqu'à ce que je l'aie anéantie par sa main.(FR) 8 ׃27 וְהָיָ֨ה הַגּ֜וֹי וְהַמַּמְלָכָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יַעַבְד֤וּ אֹתוֹ֙ אֶת־נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֔ל וְאֵ֨ת אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־יִתֵּן֙ אֶת־צַוָּאר֔וֹ בְּעֹ֖ל מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל בַּחֶרֶב֩ וּבָרָעָ֨ב וּבַדֶּ֜בֶר אֶפְקֹ֨ד עַל־הַגּ֤וֹי הַהוּא֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה עַד־תֻּמִּ֥י אֹתָ֖ם בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:8 "It will be, that the nation or the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence," declares the Lord,"until I have destroyed it by his hand. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:9 ============ Jer 27:9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:(KJV) Jeremiah 27:9 Therefore heare not your prophets nor your southsayers, nor your dreamers, nor your inchanters, nor your sorcerers, which say vnto you thus, Ye shall not serue the King of Babel.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:9 Et vous, n'écoutez pas vos prophètes, vos devins, vos songeurs, vos astrologues, vos magiciens, qui vous disent: Vous ne serez point asservis au roi de Babylone!(FR) 9 ׃27 וְ֠אַתֶּם אַל־תִּשְׁמְע֨וּ אֶל־נְבִיאֵיכֶ֜ם וְאֶל־קֹֽסְמֵיכֶ֗ם וְאֶל֙ חֲלֹמֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְאֶל־עֹֽנְנֵיכֶ֖ם וְאֶל־כַּשָּׁפֵיכֶ֑ם אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֞ם אֹמְרִ֤ים אֲלֵיכֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹ֥א תַעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:9 But as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers or your sorcerers who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon.'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:10 ============ Jer 27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:10 For they prophecie a lie vnto you to cause you to goe farre from your lande, and that I should cast you out, and you should perish.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:10 Car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent, afin que vous soyez éloignés de votre pays, afin que je vous chasse et que vous périssiez.(FR) 10 ׃27 כִּ֣י שֶׁ֔קֶר הֵ֖ם נִבְּאִ֣ים לָכֶ֑ם לְמַ֨עַן הַרְחִ֤יק אֶתְכֶם֙ מֵעַ֣ל אַדְמַתְכֶ֔ם וְהִדַּחְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם וַאֲבַדְתֶּֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:10 For they prophesy a lie to you in order to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out and you will perish. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:11 ============ Jer 27:11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:11 But the nation that put their neckes vnder the yoke of the King of Babel, & serue him, those wil I let remaine stil in their owne land, saith the Lord, and they shall occupie it, and dwel therein.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:11 Mais la nation qui pliera son cou sous le joug du roi de Babylone, et qui lui sera soumise, je la laisserai dans son pays, dit l'Eternel, pour qu'elle le cultive et qu'elle y demeure.(FR) 11 ׃27 וְהַגּ֗וֹי אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבִ֧יא אֶת־צַוָּאר֛וֹ בְּעֹ֥ל מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל וַֽעֲבָד֑וֹ[t] וְהִנַּחְתִּ֤י[t]ו עַל־[t] אַדְמָתוֹ֙[t] נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַֽעֲבָדָ֖הּ וְיָ֥שַׁב בָּֽהּ׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:11 But the nation which will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let remain on its land," declares the Lord,"and they will till it and dwell in it."'"(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:12 ============ Jer 27:12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Iudah according to all these wordes, saying, Put your neckes vnder the yoke of the King of Babel, and serue him and his people, that ye may liue.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:12 J'ai dit entièrement les mêmes choses à Sédécias, roi de Juda: Pliez votre cou sous le joug du roi de Babylone, soumettez-vous à lui et à son peuple, et vous vivrez.(FR) 12 ׃27 וְאֶל־צִדְקִיָּ֤ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה֙ דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי כְּכָל־הַדְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לֵאמֹ֑ר הָבִ֨יאוּ אֶת־צַוְּארֵיכֶ֜ם בְּעֹ֣ל מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֗ל וְעִבְד֥וּ אֹת֛וֹ וְעַמּ֖וֹ וִֽחְיֽוּ׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:12 I spoke words like all these to Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, "Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live! (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:13 ============ Jer 27:13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?(KJV) Jeremiah 27:13 Why will ye dye, thou, and thy people by the sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lorde hath spoken against the nation, that will not serue the King of Babel?(Geneva) Jérémie 27:13 Pourquoi mourriez-vous, toi et ton peuple, par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste, comme l'Eternel l'a prononcé sur la nation qui ne se soumettra pas au roi de Babylone?(FR) 13 ׃27 לָ֤מָּה תָמ֙וּתוּ֙ אַתָּ֣ה וְעַמֶּ֔ךָ בַּחֶ֖רֶב בָּרָעָ֣ב וּבַדָּ֑בֶר כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־הַגּ֕וֹי אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:13 Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, famine and pestilence, as the Lord has spoken to that nation which will not serve the king of Babylon? (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:14 ============ Jer 27:14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:14 Therefore heare not the words of the prophets, that speake vnto you, saying, Ye shall not serue the King of Babel: for they prophecie a lie vnto you.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:14 N'écoutez pas les paroles des prophètes qui vous disent: Vous ne serez point asservis au roi de Babylone! Car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent.(FR) 14 ׃27 וְאַֽל־תִּשְׁמְע֞וּ אֶל־דִּבְרֵ֣י הַנְּבִאִ֗ים הָאֹמְרִ֤ים אֲלֵיכֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹ֥א תַעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל כִּ֣י שֶׁ֔קֶר הֵ֖ם נִבְּאִ֥ים לָכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:14 So do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon, 'for they prophesy a lie to you; (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:15 ============ Jer 27:15 For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:15 For I haue not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophecie a lie in my name, that I might cast you out, and that ye might perish, both you, and the prophets that prophecie vnto you.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:15 Je ne les ai point envoyés, dit l'Eternel, et ils prophétisent le mensonge en mon nom, afin que je vous chasse et que vous périssiez, vous et les prophètes qui vous prophétisent.(FR) 15 ׃27 כִּ֣י לֹ֤א שְׁלַחְתִּים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְהֵ֛ם נִבְּאִ֥ים בִּשְׁמִ֖י לַשָּׁ֑קֶר לְמַ֨עַן הַדִּיחִ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ וַאֲבַדְתֶּ֔ם אַתֶּ֕ם וְהַנְּבִאִ֖ים הֽ͏ַנִּבְּאִ֥ים לָכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:15 for I have not sent them," declares the Lord,"but they prophesy falsely in My name, in order that I may drive you out and that you may perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:16 ============ Jer 27:16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.(KJV) Jeremiah 27:16 Also I spake to the Priests, and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lorde, Heare not the wordes of your prophets that prophecie vnto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord shall nowe shortly be brought againe from Babel, for they prophecie a lie vnto you.(Geneva) Jérémie 27:16 J'ai dit aux sacrificateurs et à tout ce peuple: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: N'écoutez pas les paroles de vos prophètes qui vous prophétisent, disant: Voici, les ustensiles de la maison de l'Eternel seront bientôt rapportés de Babylone! Car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent.(FR) 16 ׃27 וְאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִים֩ וְאֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֨ם הַזֶּ֜ה דִּבַּ֣רְתִּי לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּה֮ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָה֒ אַֽל־תִּשְׁמְע֞וּ אֶל־דִּבְרֵ֣י נְבִֽיאֵיכֶ֗ם הַֽנִבְּאִ֤ים לָכֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הִנֵּ֨ה כְלֵ֧י בֵית־יְהוָ֛ה מוּשָׁבִ֥ים מִבָּבֶ֖לָה עַתָּ֣ה מְהֵרָ֑ה כִּ֣י שֶׁ֔קֶר הֵ֖מָּה נִבְּאִ֥ים לָכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:16 Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, "Thus says the Lord: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, 'Behold, the vessels of the Lord's house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon'; for they are prophesying a lie to you. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 27:17 ============ Jer 27:17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?(KJV) Jeremiah 27:17 Heare them not, but serue the King of Babel, that ye may liue: wherefore shoulde this citie be desolate?(Geneva) Jérémie 27:17 Ne les écoutez pas, soumettez-vous au roi de Babylone, et vous vivrez. Pourquoi cette ville deviendrait-elle une ruine?(FR) 17 ׃27 אַל־תִּשְׁמְע֣וּ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם עִבְד֥וּ אֶת־מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל וִֽחְי֑וּ לָ֧מָּה תִֽהְיֶ֛ה הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את חָרְבָּֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 27:17 Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city become a ruin?
