(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:4 ============ Eze 38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:(KJV) Ezekiel 38:4 And I wil destroy thee, & put hookes in thy chawes, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine host both horses, and horsemen, all clothed with al sorts of armour, eue a great multitude with bucklers, and shieldes, all handling swords.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:4 Je t'entraînerai, et je mettrai une boucle à tes mâchoires; Je te ferai sortir, toi et toute ton armée, Chevaux et cavaliers, Tous vêtus magnifiquement, Troupe nombreuse portant le grand et le petit bouclier, Tous maniant l'épée;(FR) 4 ׃38 וְשׁ֣וֹבַבְתִּ֔יךָ וְנָתַתִּ֥י חַחִ֖ים בִּלְחָיֶ֑יךָ וְהוֹצֵאתִי֩ אוֹתְךָ֨ וְאֶת־כָּל־חֵילֶ֜ךָ סוּסִ֣ים וּפָרָשִׁ֗ים לְבֻשֵׁ֤י מִכְלוֹל֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם קָהָ֥ל רָב֙ צִנָּ֣ה וּמָגֵ֔ן תֹּפְשֵׂ֥י חֲרָב֖וֹת כֻּלָּֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:4 I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:5 ============ Eze 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:(KJV) Ezekiel 38:5 They of Paras, of Cush, and Phut with the, euen all they that beare shielde and helmet.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:5 Et avec eux ceux de Perse, d'Ethiopie et de Puth, Tous portant le bouclier et le casque;(FR) 5 ׃38 פָּרַ֛ס כּ֥וּשׁ וּפ֖וּט אִתָּ֑ם כֻּלָּ֖ם מָגֵ֥ן וְכוֹבָֽע׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:5 Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:6 ============ Eze 38:6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:6 Gomer and all his bands, and the house of Togarmah of the North quarters, & al his bands, and much people with thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:6 Gomer et toutes ses troupes, La maison de Togarma, A l'extrémité du septentrion, Et toutes ses troupes, Peuples nombreux qui sont avec toi.(FR) 6 ׃38 גֹּ֚מֶר וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּ֔יהָ בֵּ֚ית תּֽוֹגַרְמָ֔ה יַרְכְּתֵ֥י צָפ֖וֹן וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲגַפָּ֑יו עַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אִתָּֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:6 Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops--many peoples with you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:7 ============ Eze 38:7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:7 Prepare thy selfe, & make thee ready, both thou, and al thy multitude, that are assembled vnto thee, and be thou their sauegard.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:7 Prépare-toi, tiens-toi prêt, Toi, et toute ta multitude assemblée autour de toi! Sois leur chef!(FR) 7 ׃38 הִכֹּן֙ וְהָכֵ֣ן לְךָ֔ אַתָּ֕ה וְכָל־קְהָלֶ֖ךָ הַנִּקְהָלִ֣ים עָלֶ֑יךָ וְהָיִ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם לְמִשְׁמָֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:7 "Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:8 ============ Eze 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:8 After many dayes thou shalt bee visited: for in the latter yeres thou shalt come into the land, that hath bene destroyed with the sworde, and is gathered out of many people vpon the mountaines of Israel, which haue long lien waste: yet they haue bene brought out of the people, and they shall dwell all safe.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:8 Après bien des jours, tu seras à leur tête; Dans la suite des années, tu marcheras contre le pays Dont les habitants, échappés à l'épée, Auront été rassemblés d'entre plusieurs peuples Sur les montagnes d'Israël longtemps désertes; Retirés du milieu des peuples, Ils seront tous en sécurité dans leurs demeures.(FR) 8 ׃38 מִיָּמִ֣ים רַבִּים֮ תִּפָּקֵד֒ בְּאַחֲרִ֨ית הַשָּׁנִ֜ים תָּב֣וֹא ׀ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ ׀ מְשׁוֹבֶ֣בֶת מֵחֶ֗רֶב מְקֻבֶּ֙צֶת֙ מֵעַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים עַ֚ל הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁר־הָי֥וּ לְחָרְבָּ֖ה תָּמִ֑יד וְהִיא֙ מֵעַמִּ֣ים הוּצָ֔אָה וְיָשְׁב֥וּ לָבֶ֖טַח כֻּלָּֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:8 After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:9 ============ Eze 38:9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:9 Thou shalt ascende and come vp like a tempest, and shalt be like a cloude to couer the land, both thou, and all thy bandes, and many people with thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:9 Tu monteras, tu t'avanceras comme une tempête, Tu seras comme une nuée qui va couvrir le pays, Toi et toutes tes troupes, et les nombreux peuples avec toi.(FR) 9 ׃38 וְעָלִ֙יתָ֙ כַּשֹּׁאָ֣ה תָב֔וֹא כֶּעָנָ֛ן לְכַסּ֥וֹת הָאָ֖רֶץ תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה אַתָּה֙ וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּ֔יךָ וְעַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אוֹתָֽךְ׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 38:9 You will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:10 ============ Eze 38:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:(KJV) Ezekiel 38:10 Thus saith the Lorde God, Euen at ye same time shall many things come into thy minde, and thou shalt thinke euil thoughts.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:10 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: En ce jour-là, des pensées s'élèveront dans ton coeur, Et tu formeras de mauvais desseins.(FR) 10 ׃38 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יַעֲל֤וּ דְבָרִים֙ עַל־לְבָבֶ֔ךָ וְחָשַׁבְתָּ֖ מַחֲשֶׁ֥בֶת רָעָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:10 'Thus says the Lord God, "It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:11 ============ Eze 38:11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,(KJV) Ezekiel 38:11 And thou shalt say, I wil go vp to the land that hath no walled towres: I will goe to them that are at rest, and dwell in safetie, which dwell all without walles, and haue neither barres nor gates,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:11 Tu diras: Je monterai contre un pays ouvert, Je fondrai sur des hommes tranquilles, En sécurité dans leurs demeures, Tous dans des habitations sans murailles, Et n'ayant ni verrous ni portes;(FR) 11 ׃38 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ אֶֽעֱלֶה֙ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ פְּרָז֔וֹת אָבוֹא֙ הַשֹּׁ֣קְטִ֔ים יֹשְׁבֵ֖י לָבֶ֑טַח כֻּלָּ֗ם יֹֽשְׁבִים֙ בְּאֵ֣ין חוֹמָ֔ה וּבְרִ֥יחַ וּדְלָתַ֖יִם אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:11 and you will say, 'I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:12 ============ Eze 38:12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:12 Thinking to spoyle the pray, and to take a bootie, to turne thine hande vpon the desolate places that are nowe inhabited, and vpon the people, that are gathered out of the nations which haue gotten cattell and goods, and dwell in the middes of the land.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:12 J'irai faire du butin et me livrer au pillage, Porter la main sur des ruines maintenant habitées, Sur un peuple recueilli du milieu des nations, Ayant des troupeaux et des propriétés, Et occupant les lieux élevés du pays.(FR) 12 ׃38 לִשְׁלֹ֥ל שָׁלָ֖ל וְלָבֹ֣ז בַּ֑ז לְהָשִׁ֨יב יָדְךָ֜ עַל־חֳרָב֣וֹת נוֹשָׁבֹ֗ת וְאֶל־עַם֙ מְאֻסָּ֣ף מִגּוֹיִ֔ם עֹשֶׂה֙ מִקְנֶ֣ה וְקִנְיָ֔ן יֹשְׁבֵ֖י עַל־טַבּ֥וּר הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:12 to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world.'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:13 ============ Eze 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?(KJV) Ezekiel 38:13 Sheba and Dedan, and the marchantes of Tarshish with all the lions thereof shall say vnto thee, Art thou come to spoyle the praye? Hast thou gathered thy multitude to take a booty? To cary away siluer and golde, to take away cattell and goods, and to spoyle a great pray?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:13 Séba et Dedan, les marchands de Tarsis, Et tous leurs lionceaux, te diront: Viens-tu pour faire du butin? Est-ce pour piller que tu as rassemblé ta multitude, Pour emporter de l'argent et de l'or, Pour prendre des troupeaux et des biens, Pour faire un grand butin?(FR) 13 ׃38 שְׁבָ֡א וּ֠דְדָן וְסֹחֲרֵ֨י תַרְשִׁ֤ישׁ וְכָל־כְּפִרֶ֙יהָ֙ יֹאמְר֣וּ לְךָ֔ הֲלִשְׁלֹ֤ל שָׁלָל֙ אַתָּ֣ה בָ֔א הֲלָבֹ֥ז בַּ֖ז הִקְהַ֣לְתָּ קְהָלֶ֑ךָ לָשֵׂ֣את ׀ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֗ב לָקַ֙חַת֙ מִקְנֶ֣ה וְקִנְיָ֔ן לִשְׁלֹ֖ל שָׁלָ֥ל גָּדֽוֹל׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 38:13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, 'Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?'"'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:14 ============ Eze 38:14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?(KJV) Ezekiel 38:14 Therefore, sonne of man, prophecie, and saye vnto Gog, Thus sayeth the Lorde God, In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safe, shalt thou not knowe it?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:14 C'est pourquoi prophétise, fils de l'homme, et dis à Gog: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Oui, le jour où mon peuple d'Israël vivra en sécurité, Tu le sauras.(FR) 14 ׃38 לָכֵן֙ הִנָּבֵ֣א בֶן־אָדָ֔ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ לְג֔וֹג כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הֲל֣וֹא ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא בְּשֶׁ֨בֶת עַמִּ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לָבֶ֖טַח תֵּדָֽע׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:14 "Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, 'Thus says the Lord God, "On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:15 ============ Eze 38:15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:(KJV) Ezekiel 38:15 And come fro thy place out of the North partes, thou and much people with thee? All shall ride vpon horses, euen a great multitude and a mightie armie.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:15 Alors tu partiras de ton pays, des extrémités du septentrion, Toi et de nombreux peuples avec toi, Tous montés sur des chevaux, Une grande multitude, une armée puissante.(FR) 15 ׃38 וּבָ֤אתָ מִמְּקֽוֹמְךָ֙ מִיַּרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפ֔וֹן אַתָּ֕ה וְעַמִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים אִתָּ֑ךְ רֹכְבֵ֤י סוּסִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם קָהָ֥ל גָּד֖וֹל וְחַ֥יִל רָֽב׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:15 You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:16 ============ Eze 38:16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:16 And thou shalt come vp against my people of Israel, as a cloude to couer the land: thou shalt be in the latter dayes, and I will bring thee vpon my lande, that the heathen may knowe mee, when I shalbe sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:16 Tu t'avanceras contre mon peuple d'Israël, Comme une nuée qui va couvrir le pays. Dans la suite des jours, je te ferai marcher contre mon pays, Afin que les nations me connaissent, Quand je serai sanctifié par toi sous leurs yeux, ô Gog!(FR) 16 ׃38 וְעָלִ֙יתָ֙ עַל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כֶּֽעָנָ֖ן לְכַסּ֣וֹת הָאָ֑רֶץ בְּאַחֲרִ֨ית הַיָּמִ֜ים תִּֽהְיֶ֗ה וַהֲבִאוֹתִ֙יךָ֙ עַל־אַרְצִ֔י לְמַעַן֩ דַּ֨עַת הַגּוֹיִ֜ם אֹתִ֗י בְּהִקָּדְשִׁ֥י בְךָ֛ לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם גּֽוֹג׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 38:16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:17 ============ Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?(KJV) Ezekiel 38:17 Thus saith the Lord God, Art not thou he, of whom I haue spoken in olde time, by ye hand of my seruants the Prophets of Israel which prophecied in those dayes and yeeres, that I woulde bring thee vpon them?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:17 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Est-ce toi de qui j'ai parlé jadis Par mes serviteurs les prophètes d'Israël, Qui ont prophétisé alors, pendant des années, Que je t'amènerais contre eux?(FR) 17 ׃38 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הַֽאַתָּה־ה֨וּא אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֜רְתִּי בְּיָמִ֣ים קַדְמוֹנִ֗ים בְּיַד֙ עֲבָדַי֙ נְבִיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַֽנִבְּאִ֛ים בַּיָּמִ֥ים הָהֵ֖ם שָׁנִ֑ים לְהָבִ֥יא אֹתְךָ֖ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 38:17 'Thus says the Lord God, "Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:18 ============ Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.(KJV) Ezekiel 38:18 At the same time also whe Gog shal come against the land of Israel, sayth the Lord God, my wrath shall arise in mine anger.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:18 En ce jour-là, le jour où Gog marchera contre la terre d'Israël, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, La fureur me montera dans les narines.(FR) 18 ׃38 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא בְּי֨וֹם בּ֥וֹא גוֹג֙ עַל־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה תַּעֲלֶ֥ה חֲמָתִ֖י בְּאַפִּֽי׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:18 It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel," declares the Lord God, "that My fury will mount up in My anger. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 38:19 ============ Eze 38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;(KJV) Ezekiel 38:19 For in mine indignation and in the fire of my wrath haue I spoken it: surely at that time there shalbe a great shaking in the land of Israel,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 38:19 Je le déclare, dans ma jalousie et dans le feu de ma colère, En ce jour-là, il y aura un grand tumulte Dans le pays d'Israël.(FR) 19 ׃38 וּבְקִנְאָתִ֥י בְאֵשׁ־עֶבְרָתִ֖י דִּבַּ֑רְתִּי אִם־לֹ֣א ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ רַ֣עַשׁ גָּד֔וֹל עַ֖ל אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 38:19 In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
