Qu'elle ôte de sa face ses prostitutions, et de son sein ses adultères!(FR) 4 ׃2 רִ֤יבוּ בְאִמְּכֶם֙ רִ֔יבוּ כִּֽי־הִיא֙ לֹ֣א אִשְׁתִּ֔י וְאָנֹכִ֖י לֹ֣א אִישָׁ֑הּ וְתָסֵ֤ר זְנוּנֶ֙יהָ֙ מִפָּנֶ֔יה וְנַאֲפוּפֶ֖יהָ מִבֵּ֥ין שָׁדֶֽיהָ׃ Hosea Hos 2:2 "Contend with your mother, contend, For she is not my wife, and I am not her husband; And let her put away her harlotry from her face And her adultery from between her breasts, (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:3 ============ Hos 2:3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.(KJV) Hosea 2:3 Lest I strippe her naked, and set her as in the day that shee was borne, and make her as a wildernes, and leaue her like a drie land, and slaie her for thirst.(Geneva) Osée 2:3 Sinon, je la dépouille à nu, je la mets comme au jour de sa naissance, je la rends semblable à un désert, à une terre aride, et je la fais mourir de soif;(FR) 5 ׃2 פֶּן־אַפְשִׁיטֶ֣נָּה עֲרֻמָּ֔ה וְהִ֨צַּגְתִּ֔יהָ כְּי֖וֹם הִוָּֽלְדָ֑הּ וְשַׂמְתִּ֣יהָ כַמִּדְבָּ֗ר וְשַׁתִּ֙הָ֙ כְּאֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֔ה וַהֲמִתִּ֖יהָ בַּצָּמָֽא׃ Hosea Hos 2:3 Or I will strip her naked And expose her as on the day when she was born. I will also make her like a wilderness, Make her like desert land And slay her with thirst. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:4 ============ Hos 2:4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.(KJV) Hosea 2:4 And I wil haue no pitie vpon her children: for they be the children of fornications.(Geneva) Osée 2:4 et je n'aurai pas pitié de ses enfants, car ce sont des enfants de prostitution.(FR) 6 ׃2 וְאֶת־בָּנֶ֖יהָ לֹ֣א אֲרַחֵ֑ם כִּֽי־בְנֵ֥י זְנוּנִ֖ים הֵֽמָּה׃ Hosea Hos 2:4 "Also, I will have no compassion on her children, Because they are children of harlotry. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:5 ============ Hos 2:5 For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.(KJV) Hosea 2:5 For their mother hath plaied the harlot: she that conceiued them, hath done shamefully: for shee said, I will goe after my louers that giue me my bread and my water, my wooll and my flaxe, mine oyle and my drinke.(Geneva) Osée 2:5 Leur mère s'est prostituée, celle qui les a conçus s'est déshonorée, car elle a dit: J'irai après mes amants, qui me donnent mon pain et mon eau, ma laine et mon lin, mon huile et ma boisson.(FR) 7 ׃2 כִּ֤י זָֽנְתָה֙ אִמָּ֔ם הֹבִ֖ישָׁה הֽוֹרָתָ֑ם כִּ֣י אָמְרָ֗ה אֵלְכָ֞ה אַחֲרֵ֤י מְאַהֲבַי֙ נֹתְנֵ֤י לַחְמִי֙ וּמֵימַ֔י צַמְרִ֣י וּפִשְׁתִּ֔י שַׁמְנִ֖י וְשִׁקּוּיָֽי׃ Hosea Hos 2:5 "For their mother has played the harlot; She who conceived them has acted shamefully. For she said, 'I will go after my lovers, Who give me my bread and my water, My wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.'(nasb) ======= Hosea 2:6 ============ Hos 2:6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths.(KJV) Hosea 2:6 Therefore beholde, I will stoope thy way with thornes, and make an hedge, that shee shall not finde her pathes.(Geneva) Osée 2:6 C'est pourquoi voici, je vais fermer son chemin avec des épines et y élever un mur, afin qu'elle ne trouve plus ses sentiers.(FR) 8 ׃2 לָכֵ֛ן הִנְנִי־שָׂ֥ךְ אֶת־דַּרְכֵּ֖ךְ בַּסִּירִ֑ים וְגָֽדַרְתִּי֙ אֶת־גְּדֵרָ֔הּ וּנְתִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ לֹ֥א תִמְצָֽא׃ Hosea Hos 2:6 "Therefore, behold, I will hedge up her way with thorns, And I will build a wall against her so that she cannot find her paths. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:7 ============ Hos 2:7 And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.(KJV) Hosea 2:7 Though shee followe after her louers, yet shall shee not come at them: though shee seeke them, yet shall shee not finde them: then shall she say, I will goe and returne to my first husbande: for at that time was I better then nowe.(Geneva) Osée 2:7 Elle poursuivra ses amants, et ne les atteindra pas; elle les cherchera, et ne les trouvera pas. Puis elle dira: J'irai, et je retournerai vers mon premier mari, car alors j'étais plus heureuse que maintenant.(FR) 9 ׃2 וְרִדְּפָ֤ה אֶת־מְאַהֲבֶ֙יהָ֙ וְלֹֽא־תַשִּׂ֣יג אֹתָ֔ם וּבִקְשָׁ֖תַם וְלֹ֣א תִמְצָ֑א וְאָמְרָ֗ה אֵלְכָ֤ה וְאָשׁ֙וּבָה֙ אֶל־אִישִׁ֣י הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן כִּ֣י ט֥וֹב לִ֛י אָ֖ז מֵעָֽתָּה׃ Hosea Hos 2:7 "She will pursue her lovers, but she will not overtake them; And she will seek them, but will not find them. Then she will say, 'I will go back to my first husband, For it was better for me then than now!'(nasb) ======= Hosea 2:8 ============ Hos 2:8 For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.(KJV) Hosea 2:8 Nowe she did not knowe that I gaue her corne, and wine, and oyle, and multiplied her siluer and golde, which they bestowed vpon Baal.(Geneva) Osée 2:8 Elle n'a pas reconnu que c'était moi qui lui donnais le blé, le moût et l'huile; et l'on a consacré au service de Baal l'argent et l'or que je lui prodiguais.(FR) 10 ׃2 וְהִיא֙ לֹ֣א יָֽדְעָ֔ה כִּ֤י אָֽנֹכִי֙ נָתַ֣תִּי לָ֔הּ הַדָּגָ֖ן וְהַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָ֑ר וְכֶ֨סֶף הִרְבֵּ֥יתִי לָ֛הּ וְזָהָ֖ב עָשׂ֥וּ לַבָּֽעַל׃ Hosea Hos 2:8 "For she does not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the new wine and the oil, And lavished on her silver and gold, Which they used for Baal. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:9 ============ Hos 2:9 Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.(KJV) Hosea 2:9 Therefore wil I returne, and take away my corne in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recouer my wool and my flaxe lent, to couer her shame.(Geneva) Osée 2:9 C'est pourquoi je reprendrai mon blé en son temps et mon moût dans sa saison, et j'enlèverai ma laine et mon lin qui devaient couvrir sa nudité.(FR) 11 ׃2 לָכֵ֣ן אָשׁ֔וּב וְלָקַחְתִּ֤י דְגָנִי֙ בְּעִתּ֔וֹ וְתִירוֹשִׁ֖י בְּמֽוֹעֲד֑וֹ וְהִצַּלְתִּי֙ צַמְרִ֣י וּפִשְׁתִּ֔י לְכַסּ֖וֹת אֶת־עֶרְוָתָֽהּ׃ Hosea Hos 2:9 "Therefore, I will take back My grain at harvest time And My new wine in its season. I will also take away My wool and My flax Given to cover her nakedness. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:10 ============ Hos 2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.(KJV) Hosea 2:10 And now will I discouer her lewdnes in the sight of her louers, and no man shall deliuer her out of mine hand.(Geneva) Osée 2:10 Et maintenant je découvrirai sa honte aux yeux de ses amants, et nul ne la délivrera de ma main.(FR) 12 ׃2 וְעַתָּ֛ה אֲגַלֶּ֥ה אֶת־נַבְלֻתָ֖הּ לְעֵינֵ֣י מְאַהֲבֶ֑יהָ וְאִ֖ישׁ לֹֽא־יַצִּילֶ֥נָּה מִיָּדִֽי׃ Hosea Hos 2:10 "And then I will uncover her lewdness In the sight of her lovers, And no one will rescue her out of My hand. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:11 ============ Hos 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.(KJV) Hosea 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast daies, her newe moones, and her Sabbathes, and all her solemne feasts.(Geneva) Osée 2:11 Je ferai cesser toute sa joie, ses fêtes, ses nouvelles lunes, ses sabbats et toutes ses solennités.(FR) 13 ׃2 וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ כָּל־מְשׂוֹשָׂ֔הּ חַגָּ֖הּ חָדְשָׁ֣הּ וְשַׁבַּתָּ֑הּ וְכֹ֖ל מוֹעֲדָֽהּ׃ Hosea Hos 2:11 "I will also put an end to all her gaiety, Her feasts, her new moons, her sabbaths And all her festal assemblies. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:12 ============ Hos 2:12 And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.(KJV) Hosea 2:12 And I wil destroy her vines & her figtrees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my louers haue giuen mee: and I will make them as a forest, and the wilde beasts shall eate them.(Geneva) Osée 2:12 Je ravagerai ses vignes et ses figuiers, dont elle disait: C'est le salaire que m'ont donné mes amants! Je les réduirai en une forêt, et les bêtes des champs les dévoreront.(FR) 14 ׃2 וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֗י גַּפְנָהּ֙ וּתְאֵ֣נָתָ֔הּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָמְרָ֗ה אֶתְנָ֥ה הֵ֙מָּה֙ לִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָֽתְנוּ־לִ֖י מְאַֽהֲבָ֑י וְשַׂמְתִּ֣ים לְיַ֔עַר וַאֲכָלָ֖תַם חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ Hosea Hos 2:12 "I will destroy her vines and fig trees, Of which she said, 'These are my wages Which my lovers have given me.'And I will make them a forest, And the beasts of the field will devour them. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:13 ============ Hos 2:13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.(KJV) Hosea 2:13 And I wil visit vpon her the daies of Baalim, wherein shee burnt incense to them: and shee decked her selfe with her earings and her iewels, and shee folowed her louers, and forgate me, saith the Lorde.(Geneva) Osée 2:13 Je la châtierai pour les jours où elle encensait les Baals, où elle se paraît de ses anneaux et de ses colliers, allait après ses amants, et m'oubliait, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 15 ׃2 וּפָקַדְתִּ֣י עָלֶ֗יהָ אֶת־יְמֵ֤י הַבְּעָלִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּקְטִ֣יר לָהֶ֔ם וַתַּ֤עַד נִזְמָהּ֙ וְחֶלְיָתָ֔הּ וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ אַחֲרֵ֣י מְאַהֲבֶ֑יהָ וְאֹתִ֥י שָׁכְחָ֖ה נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ פ Hosea Hos 2:13 "I will punish her for the days of the Baals When she used to offer sacrifices to them And adorn herself with her earrings and jewelry, And follow her lovers, so that she forgot Me," declares the Lord. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:14 ============ Hos 2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.(KJV) Hosea 2:14 Therefore beholde, I will allure her, and bring her into the wildernesse, and speake friendly vnto her.(Geneva) Osée 2:14 C'est pourquoi voici, je veux l'attirer et la conduire au désert, et je parlerai à son coeur.(FR) 16 ׃2 לָכֵ֗ן הִנֵּ֤ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ מְפַתֶּ֔יהָ וְהֹֽלַכְתִּ֖יהָ הַמִּדְבָּ֑ר וְדִבַּרְתִּ֖י עַל[c] לִבָּֽהּ׃ Hosea Hos 2:14 "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness And speak kindly to her. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:15 ============ Hos 2:15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.(KJV) Hosea 2:15 And I will giue her her vineyardes from thence, and the valley of Achor for the doore of hope, and shee shall sing there as in the daies of her youth, and as in the daies when shee came vp out of the land of Egypt.(Geneva) Osée 2:15 Là, je lui donnerai ses vignes et la vallée d'Acor, comme une porte d'espérance, et là, elle chantera comme au temps de sa jeunesse, et comme au jour où elle remonta du pays d'Egypte.(FR) 17 ׃2 וְנָתַ֨תִּי לָ֤הּ אֶת־כְּרָמֶ֙יהָ֙ מִשָּׁ֔ם וְאֶת־עֵ֥מֶק עָכ֖וֹר לְפֶ֣תַח תִּקְוָ֑ה וְעָ֤נְתָה שָּׁ֙מָּה֙ כִּימֵ֣י נְעוּרֶ֔יהָ וִּכְי֖וֹם עֲלֹתָ֥הּ מֵאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרָֽיִם׃ ס Hosea Hos 2:15 "Then I will give her her vineyards from there, And the valley of Achor as a door of hope. And she will sing there as in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:17 ============ Hos 2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.(KJV) Hosea 2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall be no more remembred by their names.(Geneva) Osée 2:17 J'ôterai de sa bouche les noms des Baals, afin qu'on ne les mentionne plus par leurs noms.(FR) 19 ׃2 וַהֲסִרֹתִ֛י אֶת־שְׁמ֥וֹת הַבְּעָלִ֖ים מִפִּ֑יהָ וְלֹֽא־יִזָּכְר֥וּ ע֖וֹד בִּשְׁמָֽם׃ Hosea Hos 2:17 "For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, So that they will be mentioned by their names no more. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:18 ============ Hos 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.(KJV) Hosea 2:18 And in that day wil I make a couenant for them, with the wilde beasts, and with the foules of the heauen, and with that that creepeth vpon the earth: and I will breake the bowe, and the sworde and the battell out of the earth, and will make them to sleepe safely.(Geneva) Osée 2:18 En ce jour-là, je traiterai pour eux une alliance avec les bêtes des champs, les oiseaux du ciel et les reptiles de la terre, je briserai dans le pays l'arc, l'épée et la guerre, et je les ferai reposer avec sécurité.(FR) 20 ׃2 וְכָרַתִּ֨י לָהֶ֤ם בְּרִית֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא עִם־חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ וְעִם־ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְרֶ֖מֶשׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה וְקֶ֨שֶׁת וְחֶ֤רֶב וּמִלְחָמָה֙ אֶשְׁבּ֣וֹר מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהִשְׁכַּבְתִּ֖ים לָבֶֽטַח׃ Hosea Hos 2:18 "In that day I will also make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, The birds of the sky And the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land, And will make them lie down in safety. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:19 ============ Hos 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.(KJV) Hosea 2:19 And I wil marry thee vnto me for euer: yea, I will marry thee vnto me in righteousnes, and in iudgement, and in mercy and in compassion.(Geneva) Osée 2:19 Je serai ton fiancé pour toujours; je serai ton fiancé par la justice, la droiture, la grâce et la miséricorde;(FR) 21 ׃2 וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִ֖י לְעוֹלָ֑ם וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִי֙ בְּצֶ֣דֶק וּבְמִשְׁפָּ֔ט וּבְחֶ֖סֶד וּֽבְרַחֲמִֽים׃ Hosea Hos 2:19 "I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In lovingkindness and in compassion, (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:20 ============ Hos 2:20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.(KJV) Hosea 2:20 I will euen marry thee vnto me in faithfulnes, and thou shalt knowe the Lord.(Geneva) Osée 2:20 je serai ton fiancé par la fidélité, et tu reconnaîtras l'Eternel.(FR) 22 ׃2 וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִ֖י בֶּאֱמוּנָ֑ה וְיָדַ֖עַתְּ אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃ ס Hosea Hos 2:20 And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:21 ============ Hos 2:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;(KJV) Hosea 2:21 And in that day I wil heare, saith the Lord, I will euen heare the heauens, and they shall heare the earth,(Geneva) Osée 2:21 En ce jour-là, j'exaucerai, dit l'Eternel, j'exaucerai les cieux, et ils exauceront la terre;(FR) 23 ׃2 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא אֶֽעֱנֶה֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה אֶעֱנֶ֖ה אֶת־הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְהֵ֖ם יַעֲנ֥וּ אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Hosea Hos 2:21 "It will come about in that day that I will respond," declares the Lord." I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth, (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:22 ============ Hos 2:22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.(KJV) Hosea 2:22 And the earth shall heare the corne, & the wine, and the oyle, and they shall heare Izreel.(Geneva) Osée 2:22 la terre exaucera le blé, le moût et l'huile, et ils exauceront Jizreel.(FR) 24 ׃2 וְהָאָ֣רֶץ תַּעֲנֶ֔ה אֶת־הַדָּגָ֖ן וְאֶת־הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְאֶת־הַיִּצְהָ֑ר וְהֵ֖ם יַעֲנ֥וּ אֶֽת־יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃ Hosea Hos 2:22 And the earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine and to the oil, And they will respond to Jezreel. (nasb) ======= Hosea 2:23 ============ Hos 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.(kjv) Hosea 2:23 And I will sowe her vnto me in the earth, and I will haue mercie vpon her, that was not pitied, and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; they shal say, Thou art my God.(Geneva) Osée 2:23 Je planterai pour moi Lo-Ruchama dans le pays, et je lui ferai miséricorde; je dirai à Lo-Ammi: Tu es mon peuple! et il répondra: Mon Dieu!(FR) 25 ׃2 וּזְרַעְתִּ֤יהָ לִּי֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְרִֽחַמְתִּ֖י אֶת־לֹ֣א רֻחָ֑מָה וְאָמַרְתִּ֤י לְלֹֽא־עַמִּי֙ עַמִּי־אַ֔תָּה וְה֖וּא יֹאמַ֥ר אֱלֹהָֽי׃ פ Hosea Hos 2:23 "I will sow her for Myself in the land. I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, And I will say to those who were not My people, 'You are My people!'And they will say, 'You are my God!'"
