(Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:1 وكان كلام صموئيل الى جميع اسرائيل وخرج اسرائيل للقاء الفلسطينيين للحرب ونزلوا عند حجر المعونة واما الفلسطينيون فنزلوا في افيق. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:1 Thus the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to meet the Philistines in battle and camped beside Ebenezer while the Philistines camped in Aphek.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:2---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:2 واصطف الفلسطينيون للقاء اسرائيل واشتبكت الحرب فانكسر اسرائيل امام الفلسطينيين وضربوا من الصف في الحقل نحو اربعة آلاف رجل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:2 The Philistines drew up in battle array to meet Israel. When the battle spread, Israel was defeated before the Philistines who killed about four thousand men on the battlefield.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:3---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:3 فجاء الشعب الى المحلّة. وقال شيوخ اسرائيل لماذا كسرنا اليوم الرب امام الفلسطينيين. لنأخذ لانفسنا من شيلوه تابوت عهد الرب فيدخل في وسطنا ويخلصنا من يد اعدائنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:3 When the people came into the camp, the elders of Israel said, "Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us take to ourselves from Shiloh the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that it may come among us and deliver us from the power of our enemies."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:4---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:4 فارسل الشعب الى شيلوه وحملوا من هناك تابوت عهد رب الجنود الجالس على الكروبيم. وكان هناك ابنا عالي حفني وفينحاس مع تابوت عهد الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, and from there they carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts who sits above the cherubim; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:5---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:5 وكان عند دخول تابوت عهد الرب الى المحلّة ان جميع اسرائيل هتفوا هتافا عظيما حتى ارتجّت الارض. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:5 As the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth resounded.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:6---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:6 فسمع الفلسطينيون صوت الهتاف فقالوا ما هو صوت هذا الهتاف العظيم في محلّة العبرانيين. وعلموا ان تابوت الرب جاء الى المحلّة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:6 When the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, "What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?" Then they understood that the ark of the Lord had come into the camp.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:7---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:7 فخاف الفلسطينيون لانهم قالوا قد جاء الله الى المحلّة. وقالوا ويل لنا لانه لم يكن مثل هذا منذ امس ولا ما قبله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:7 The Philistines were afraid, for they said, "God has come into the camp." And they said, "Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:8---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:8 ويل لنا. من ينقذنا من يد هؤلاء الآلهة القادرين. هؤلاء هم الآلهة الذين ضربوا مصر بجميع الضربات في البرية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:8 Woe to us! Who shall deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? Indeed, I escaped from the battle line today." And he said, "How did things go, my son?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:17---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:17 فاجاب المخبر وقال هرب اسرائيل امام الفلسطينيين وكانت ايضا كسرة عظيمة في الشعب ومات ايضا ابناك حفني وفينحاس وأخذ تابوت الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:17 Then the one who brought the news replied, "Israel has fled before the Philistines and there has also been a great slaughter among the people, and your two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been taken."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:18---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:18 وكان لما ذكر تابوت الله انه سقط عن الكرسي الى الوراء الى جانب الباب فانكسرت رقبته ومات. لانه كان رجلا شيخا وثقيلا. وقد قضى لاسرائيل اربعين سنة -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:18 When he mentioned the ark of God, Eli fell off the seat backward beside the gate, and his neck was broken and he died, for he was old and heavy. Thus he judged Israel forty years.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:19---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:19 وكنّته امرأة فينحاس كانت حبلى تكاد تلد. فلما سمعت خبر اخذ تابوت الله وموت حميها ورجلها ركعت وولدت لان مخاضها انقلب عليها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:19 Now his daughter-in-law, Phinehas's wife, was pregnant and about to give birth; and when she heard the news that the ark of God was taken and that her father-in-law and her husband had died, she kneeled down and gave birth, for her pains came upon her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Samuel 4:20---- (Arabic) ﻝﻭﻷﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 4:20 وعند احتضارها قالت لها الواقفات عندها لا تخافي لانك قد ولدت ابنا. فلم تجب ولم يبال قلبها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Sa 4:20 And about the time of her death the women who stood by her said to her, "Do not be afraid, for you have given birth to a son."
