(Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:1 هكذا اراني السيد الرب واذا سلّة للقطاف. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:1 Thus the Lord God showed me, and behold, there was a basket of summer fruit.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:2---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:2 فقال ماذا انت راء يا عاموس. فقلت سلّة للقطاف. فقال لي الرب قد اتت النهاية على شعبي اسرائيل. لا اعود اصفح له بعد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:2 He said, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the Lord said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel. I will spare them no longer.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:3---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:3 فتصير اغاني القصر ولاول في ذلك اليوم يقول السيد الرب. الجثث كثيرة يطرحونها في كل موضع بالسكوت -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:3 The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day," declares the Lord God. "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:4---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:4 اسمعوا هذا ايها المتهمّمون المساكين لكي تبيدوا بائسي الارض -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:4 Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:5---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:5 قائلين متى يمضي راس الشهر لنبيع قمحا والسبت لنعرض حنطة. لنصغّر الإيفة ونكبر الشاقل ونعوّج موازين الغش. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:5 saying, "When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:6---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:6 لنشتري الضعفاء بفضة والبائس بنعلين ونبيع نفاية القمح -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:6 So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:7---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:7 قد اقسم الرب بفخر يعقوب اني لن انسى الى الابد جميع اعمالهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:7 The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:8---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:8 أليس من اجل هذا ترتعد الارض وينوح كل ساكن فيها وتطمو كلها كنهر وتفيض وتنضب كنيل مصر. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:8 "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:9---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:9 ويكون في ذلك اليوم يقول السيد الرب اني اغيّب الشمس في الظهر وأقتم الارض في يوم نور. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:9 "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord God, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:10---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:10 واحوّل اعيادكم نوحا وجميع اغانيكم مراثي واصعد على كل الاحقاء مسحا وعلى كل راس قرعة واجعلها كمناحة الوحيد وآخرها يوما مرّا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:10 "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head. And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:11---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:11 هوذا ايام تأتي يقول السيد الرب ارسل جوعا في الارض لا جوعا للخبز ولا عطشا للماء بل لاستماع كلمات الرب ً. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:11 "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord God, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:12---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:12 فيجولون من بحر الى بحر ومن الشمال الى المشرق يتطوّحون ليطلبوا كلمة الرب فلا يجدونها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:12 "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, But they will not find it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:13---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:13 في ذلك اليوم تذبل بالعطش العذارى الجميلات والفتيان -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:13 "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 8:14---- (Arabic) ﺱﻮﻣﺎﻋ 8:14 الذين يحلفون بذنب السامرة ويقولون حيّ الهك يا دان وحية طريقة بئر سبع فيسقطون ولا يقومون بعد -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amo 8:14 "As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan, 'And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives, 'They will fall and not rise again."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Amos 9:1 ---- written 755 B.C.
