(Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:1 واذ جاء الى بيت احد رؤساء الفريسيين في السبت ليأكل خبزا كانوا يراقبونه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:1 It happened that when He went into the house of one of the leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, they were watching Him closely.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:2---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:2 واذا انسان مستسق كان قدامه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:2 And there in front of Him was a man suffering from dropsy.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:3---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:3 فاجاب يسوع وكلم الناموسيين والفريسيين قائلا هل يحل الابراء في السبت. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:3 And Jesus answered and spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:4---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:4 فسكتوا. فامسكه وابرأه واطلقه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:4 But they kept silent. And He took hold of him and healed him, and sent him away.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:5---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:5 ثم اجابهم وقال من منكم يسقط حماره او ثوره في بئر ولا ينشله حالا في يوم السبت. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:5 And He said to them, "Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:6---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:6 فلم يقدروا ان يجيبوه عن ذلك -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:6 And they could make no reply to this.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:7---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:7 وقال للمدعوين مثلا وهو يلاحظ كيف اختاروا المتكآت الاولى قائلا لهم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:7 And He began speaking a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they had been picking out the places of honor at the table, saying to them,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:8---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:8 متى دعيت من احد الى عرس فلا تتكئ في المتكإ الاول لعل اكرم منك يكون قد دعي منه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:8 "When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for someone more distinguished than you may have been invited by him,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:9---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:9 فيأتي الذي دعاك واياه ويقول لك اعطي مكانا لهذا. فحينئذ تبتدئ بخجل تأخذ الموضع الاخير. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:9 and he who invited you both will come and say to you, 'Give your place to this man,' and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:10---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:10 بل متى دعيت فاذهب واتكئ في الموضع الاخير حتى اذا جاء الذي دعاك يقول لك يا صديق ارتفع الى فوق. حينئذ يكون لك مجد امام المتكئين معك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:10 But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, 'Friend, move up higher'; then you will have honor in the sight of all who are at the table with you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:11---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:11 لان كل من يرفع نفسه يتضع ومن يضع نفسه يرتفع -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:12---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:12 وقال ايضا للذي دعاه اذا صنعت غذاء او عشاء فلا تدع اصدقاءك ولا اخوتك ولا اقرباءك ولا الجيران الاغنياء لئلا يدعوك هم ايضا فتكون لك مكافاة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:12 And He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you in return and that will be your repayment.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:13---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:13 بل اذا صنعت ضيافة فادع المساكين الجدع العرج العمي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:13 But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:14---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:14 فيكون لك الطوبى اذ ليس لهم حتى يكافوك. لانك تكافى في قيامة الابرار -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:14 and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:15---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:15 فلما سمع ذلك واحد من المتكئين قال له طوبى لمن يأكل خبزا في ملكوت الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:15 When one of those who were reclining at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, "Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:16---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:16 فقال له. انسان صنع عشاء عظيما ودعا كثيرين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:16 But He said to him, "A man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:17---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:17 وارسل عبده في ساعة العشاء ليقول للمدعوين تعالوا لان كل شيء قد أعد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:17 and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, 'Come; for everything is ready now.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:18---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:18 فابتدأ الجميع برأي واحد يستعفون. قال له الاول اني اشتريت حقلا وانا مضطر ان اخرج وانظره. اسألك ان تعفيني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:18 But they all alike began to make excuses. The first one said to him, 'I have bought a piece of land and I need to go out and look at it; please consider me excused.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:19---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:19 وقال آخر اني اشتريت خمسة ازواج بقر وانا ماض لامتحنها. اسألك ان تعفيني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:19 Another one said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:20---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:20 وقال آخر اني تزوجت بامرأة فلذلك لا اقدر ان اجيء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:20 Another one said, 'I have married a wife, and for that reason I cannot come.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:21---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:21 فأتى ذلك العبد واخبر سيده بذلك. حينئذ غضب رب البيت وقال لعبده اخرج عاجلا الى شوارع المدينة وازقتها وادخل الى هنا المساكين والجدع والعرج والعمي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:21 And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave, 'Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:22---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:22 فقال العبد يا سيد قد صار كما امرت ويوجد ايضا مكان. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:22 And the slave said, 'Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:23---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:23 فقال السيد للعبد اخرج الى الطرق والسياجات والزمهم بالدخول حتى يمتلئ بيتي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:23 And the master said to the slave, 'Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:24---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:24 لاني اقول لكم انه ليس واحد من اولئك الرجال المدعوين يذوق عشائي -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:24 For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste of my dinner.'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:25---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:25 وكان جموع كثيرة سائرين معه فالتفت وقال لهم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:25 Now large crowds were going along with Him; and He turned and said to them,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:26---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:26 ان كان احد يأتي اليّ ولا يبغض اباه وامه وامرأته واولاده واخوته واخواته حتى نفسه ايضا فلا يقدر ان يكون لي تلميذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:26 "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:27---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:27 ومن لا يحمل صليبه ويأتي ورائي فلا يقدر ان يكون لي تلميذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:27 Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:28---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:28 ومن منكم وهو يريد ان يبني برجا لا يجلس اولا ويحسب النفقة هل عنده ما يلزم لكماله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:28 For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:29---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:29 لئلا يضع الاساس ولا يقدر ان يكمل فيبتدئ جميع الناظرين يهزأون به. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:29 Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who observe it begin to ridicule him,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:30---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:30 قائلين هذا الانسان ابتدأ يبني ولم يقدر ان يكمل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:30 saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:31---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:31 واي ملك ان ذهب لمقاتلة ملك آخر في حرب لا يجلس اولا ويتشاور هل يستطيع ان يلاقي بعشرة آلاف الذي يأتي عليه بعشرين الفا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:31 Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and consider whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to encounter the one coming against him with twenty thousand?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:32---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:32 وإلا فما دام ذلك بعيدا يرسل سفارة ويسأل ما هو للصلح. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:32 Or else, while the other is still far away, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:33---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:33 فكذلك كل واحد منكم لا يترك جميع امواله لا يقدر ان يكون لي تلميذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:33 So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:34---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:34 الملح جيد. ولكن اذا فسد الملح فبماذا يصلح. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:34 "Therefore, salt is good; but if even salt has become tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:35---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 14:35 لا يصلح لارض ولا لمزبلة فيطرحونه خارجا. من له اذنان للسمع فليسمع -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:35 It is useless either for the soil or for the manure pile; it is thrown out.
