Han drog ned til Jafo, og da han fandt et Skib, som skulde til Tarsis betalte han, hvad Rejsen kostede, og gik om Bord for at sejle med til Tarsis bort fra Herren s Åsyn.(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. Men Jonas var gået ned i det underste Skibsrum og lå i dyb Søvn dernede.(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:5 Then the sailors became afraid and every man cried to his god, and they threw the cargo which was in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. Og de kastede Lod, og Loddet ramte Jonas.(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:7 Each man said to his mate, "Come, let us cast lots so we may learn on whose account this calamity has struck us." Hvad er du, og hvor kommer du fra? On whose account has this calamity struck us? What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:9---- Jon 1:9 Han svarede: "Jeg er Heb æer, og jeg frygter Herren , Himmelens Gud, som har skabt Havet og det tørre Land."(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:9 He said to them, "I am a Hebrew, and I fear the Lord God of heaven who made the sea and the dry land."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:10---- Jon 1:10 Så grebes Mændene af stor Rædsel og sagde til ham: "Hvad har du gjort!" Thi de fik at vide, at han flyede fra Herren s Åsyn; det sagde han dem.(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:10 Then the men became extremely frightened and they said to him, "How could you do this?" For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:11---- Jon 1:11 Og de spurgte ham: "Hvad skal vi gøre med dig, så vi får Havet til at lægge sig? Thi det rejser sig mere og mere."(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:11 So they said to him, "What should we do to you that the sea may become calm for us?"--for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:12---- Jon 1:12 Han svarede: "Tag og kast mig i Havet! Så får I det til at lægge sig; thi jeg ved, at jeg er Skyld i, at dette stærke Vejr er over eder."(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:12 He said to them, "Pick me up and throw me into the sea. Then the sea will become calm for you, for I know that on account of me this great storm has come upon you."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:13---- Jon 1:13 Mændene søgte nu at ro tilbage til Land, men kunde ikke, da Ha- vet rejste sig mere og mere imod dem.(Danish-1933) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 1:13 However, the men rowed desperately to return to land but they could not, for the sea was becoming even stormier against them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 1:14---- Jon 1:14 Så råbte de til Herren ; "Ak, Herre !
