================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:1 ---- written 1400-1370 B.C.---- Jos 16:1 καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἀπὸ τοῦ Ιορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀπὸ Ιεριχω εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν τὴν ἔρημον εἰς Βαιθηλ Λουζα (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:1 Then the lot for the sons of Joseph went from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho on the east into the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:2---- Jos 16:2 καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς Βαιθηλ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια τοῦ Χαταρωθι (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:2 It went from Bethel to Luz, and continued to the border of the Archites at Ataroth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:3---- Jos 16:3 καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Απταλιμ ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Βαιθωρων τὴν κάτω καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:3 It went down westward to the territory of the Japhletites, as far as the territory of lower Beth-horon even to Gezer, and it ended at the sea.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:4---- Jos 16:4 καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:4 The sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:5---- Jos 16:5 καὶ ἐγενήθη ὅρια υἱῶν Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν Αταρωθ καὶ Εροκ ἕως Βαιθωρων τὴν ἄνω καὶ Γαζαρα (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:5 Now this was the territory of the sons of Ephraim according to their families: the border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth-addar, as far as upper Beth-horon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:6---- Jos 16:6 καὶ διελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς Ικασμων ἀπὸ βορρᾶ Θερμα περιελεύσεται ἐπὶ ἀνατολὰς εἰς Θηνασα καὶ Σελλησα καὶ παρελεύσεται ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν εἰς Ιανωκα (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:6 Then the border went westward at Michmethath on the north, and the border turned about eastward to Taanath-shiloh and continued beyond it to the east of Janoah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:7---- Jos 16:7 καὶ εἰς Μαχω καὶ Αταρωθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐλεύσεται ἐπὶ Ιεριχω καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:7 It went down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, then reached Jericho and came out at the Jordan.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:8---- Jos 16:8 καὶ ἀπὸ Ταφου πορεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐπὶ Χελκανα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:8 From Tappuah the border continued westward to the brook of Kanah, and it ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim according to their families,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:9---- Jos 16:9 καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἀφορισθεῖσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Εφραιμ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς κληρονομίας υἱῶν Μανασση πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:9 together with the cities which were set apart for the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 16:10---- Jos 16:10 καὶ οὐκ ἀπώλεσεν Εφραιμ τὸν Χαναναῖον τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν Γαζερ καὶ κατῴκει ὁ Χαναναῖος ἐν τῷ Εφραιμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἕως ἀνέβη Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐνέπρησεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Φερεζαίους καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Γαζερ ἐξεκέντησαν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Φαραω ἐν φερνῇ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 16:10 But they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites live in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and they became forced laborers.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 17:1 ---- written 1400-1370 B.C.---- |
