"You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:12---- (Hebrew) וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן נְשָׂאוֹ הָרוּחַ וַיַּנִּחֵהוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר׃ יב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:12 Immediately the Spirit impelled Him to go out into the wilderness.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:13---- (Hebrew) וַיְהִי בַמִּדְבָּר אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם עִם־חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה וַיְנַסֵּהוּ הַשָּׁטָן וּמַלְאֲכֵי אֱלֹהִים שֵׁרְתֻהוּ׃ יג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:13 And He was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went away to follow Him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:21---- (Hebrew) וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־כְּפַר־נַחוּם וַיַּחַשׁ לָבֹא בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת אֶל־בֵּית־הַכְּנֶסֶת וַיְלַמֵּד שָׁמָּה׃ כא Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:21 They went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:22---- (Hebrew) וַיִּתְמְהוּ עַל־תּוֹרָתוֹ כִּי יָדַע לְלַמְּדָם כְּאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר שִׁלְטוֹן בְּיָדוֹ וְלֹא כַּסּוֹפְרִים׃ כב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:22 They were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:23---- (Hebrew) וְשָׁם נִמְצָא אִישׁ בְּבֵית־הַכְּנֵסֶת אֲשֶׁר דָּבַק בּוֹ רוּחַ טֻמְאָה וַיִּצְעַק לֵאמֹר׃ כג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:23 Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:24---- (Hebrew) הוֹי יֵשׁוּעַ הַנָּצְרִי מַה־לָּנוּ וָלָךְ הַאִם לְהַשְׁמִידֵנוּ בָאתָ הֲלֹא יְדַעְתִּיךָ מִי אַתָּה קְדוֹשׁ הָאֱלֹהִים׃ כד Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:24 saying, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:25---- (Hebrew) וַיִּגְעַר־בּוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ לֵאמֹר דֹּם וְצֵא מִמֶּנּוּ׃ כה Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:26---- (Hebrew) וַיִּטְרֹף אֹתוֹ רוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה וַיִּצְעַק צְעָקָה גְדֹלָה וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן יָצָא מִמֶּנּוּ׃ כו Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:26 Throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:27---- (Hebrew) וַיִּשְׁתָּאוּ כֻלָּם וַיִּתְמְהוּ אִישׁ אֶל־אָחִיו לֵאמֹר מַה־זֹּאת מַה־תּוֹרָה חֲדָשָׁה אִתּוֹ כִּי גַּם־אֶת־הָרוּחוֹת הַטְּמֵאוֹת הוּא מְצַוֶּה בֶּעֱזוּזוֹ וְהֵן שֹׁמְעוֹת בְּקֹלוֹ׃ כז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:27 They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:28---- (Hebrew) וְשָׁמְעוֹ יָצָא עַד־מְהֵרָה בְּכָל־הַכִּכָּר וּמִסָּבִיב לַגָּלִיל׃ כח Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:28 Immediately the news about Him spread everywhere into all the surrounding district of Galilee.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:29---- (Hebrew) וַיֵּצְאוּ מִבֵּית־הַכְּנֵסֶת וַיָּבֹאוּ בֵּיתָה שִׁמְעוֹן וְאַנְדְּרַי וְעִמָּהֶם גַּם־יַעֲקֹב וְיוֹחָנָן׃ כט Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:29 And immediately after they came out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:30---- (Hebrew) וְחֹתֶנֶת שִׁמְעוֹן שָׁכְבָה חוֹלַת־קַדָּחַת וּכְבֹאוֹ סִפְּרוּ לוֹ עַל־דְּבַר מַחֲלָתָהּ׃ ל Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:30 Now Simon's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 1:45---- (Hebrew) וַיְהִי כְּצֵאתוֹ וַיָּחֶל לְהַגִּיד וּלְהַשְׁמִיעַ אֶת־הַדָּבָר בָּרַבִּים עַד אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָכֹל עוֹד יֵשׁוּעַ לָבֹא בָעִיר בַּגָּלוּי כִּי אִם־הִתְגּוֹרֵר בַּחוּץ בְּצִיָּה וַעֲרָבָה וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵלָיו מִכָּל־עֵבֶר וּפִנָּה׃ מה Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 1:45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas;
